love this airbrush kit, airbrush is surprisingly good obviously not in iwata league but does a good job I have an iwata eclipse which I have used with this compressor but I would be happy to use the airbrush that came with the kit airbrused a couple of 1.35 revell milatary kits with excellent results , all in all would definitely recommend this airbrush kit even if you have an expensive airbrush as well .

Nice size very portable love the way you can use it on battery power .

I’d never previously owned an airbrush and wasn’t sure if I’d get on using one, for my model kits. I purchased this Oasser Airbrush kit at a very reasonable cost, as I didn’t want to invest too much funds in case I ended up back with the brushes! This little unit is brilliant, does everything it says in the adverts, is well made and easy to use and doesn’t take up loads of space. Five stars.

The product is constructed of high-quality components and looks aesthetically very pleasing in its dark red metallic colour. The compressor can be used as a battery operated unit or plugged in to the mains for longer use. On battery it will only last about 45 minutes. It operates at three ranges of pressure — 20 psi, 10 psi, approx 5 psi. I have had no difficulty in using the device with the airbrush supplied with the paint send to 50% mix with acrylic airbrush thinner and flow additive. It is important to note that I have tried the compressor at all three compression settings (high medium and low) and it is important to understand that the paint blend needs to be appropriate for the pressure being used. If you wish to use much higher viscosity point then you need a much higher pressure air compressor. In this case, you will need a full mains compressor fitted with oil and water dryers to prevent contamination of the airbrush. This particular unit is a dry rotary compressor and works very well, with low noise output — this is extremely important if you are going to use this for many hours. (Hearing protection). I have read many reviews about different air compressors and it really depends on what you’re trying to achieve. In this case, it is a very useful portable air compressor indeed, I believe that the future of airbrushing will be the use of portable compressor units fitted with small reservoirs and capable of producing 20 psi. These devices contain lithium batteries which has revolutionised portable compressor design.

Been meaning to get an air brush with compressor for a while to use in school. Great results on first go with some paper stencils. Watched a youtube clip on how to take apart and clean. Very quiet, even on the high setting.

    Great for beginner!

The title really does say it all. I have not used this very much but I can honestly say this is an amazing purchase for the price. I was always put off using an airbrush because of the costs involved but for less than 70 this compressor and airbrush combo are right on point.

The airbrush itself is functional and works really well. This the only one I have ever tried so whether this is good compared to others I really cannot comment however it meets my needs and produces good results on my miniatures (when I get it right myself due to my inexperience)

The compressor on the other hand is definitely one of the best I have used. It fits in the palm of your hand and includes both power supply and also internal batteries which means in the even of a power failure you are not going to ruin your model but also you can still paint when there is no socket outlet nearby.

    Truly a wonderful purchase

My old Rotring airbrush compressor is a bit tired now, and I’ve been needing a replacement for quite a while. The problem is, I do not use my airbrush too often, so I have been unable to justify to myself the cost of a new compressor. Another concern I have had, is the noise level of most cheap compressors. Not so much for my neighbour’s sake, more I can’t abide the noisy little beggars.

This one came up at a special offer price, and I decided to give it a go. It is remarkably quiet, and actually works well with my airbrush. Ok, it’s a direct flow, with no tank, but that is not really a problem to my skill level. It has 3 ‘power’ settings, but I find the lowest setting quite sufficient for my needs.

I’d go so far to say that now I’ve used it, I’d recommend it even at its normal price. The compressor comes with a cheap and cheerful, dual action airbrush, which is fine for someone on a tight budget, or, like me, whose skill level is still fairly low.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersOh dear!! Wrote this awesome review below… but next day (2 days later?) the charger for the unit has failed!!
I am having to charge it now with a regular 12V charger I already had….
Have had to drop from 5 to 4 stars for this.

Disclaimer, whilst I have professional quality compressors at work (size of a microwave, or bigger) this is my first airbrush or airbrush kit, so I am an absolute beginner. But I thought this was brilliant. The compressor is small, beautiful and easy to use. Three power settings and can maintain airbrushing just fine with battery or off mains. The built in battery gives about an hour’s use? (Don’t sue me, just a guess – didn’t time it!)… but can use indefinitely it would seem, off the mains. Noise level is low, not silent, but considerably quieter than many compressors I have used. Perfectly OK to have 1m away from you and use whilst listening to the radio, comfortably. The airbrush, well the airbrush I see largely being recommended costs more than this entire kit… so no idea how good that is, but this is fine? Push button; air on. Pull back…. fine stream of pain comes out… little screw to adjust how much paint you fine tuning you get with the pull back. So all in all thoroughly recommend. I should put negatives in… I really can’t! Experts may say the airbrush could be better, I just have no idea, as I say, only one I’ve used. Compressor battery could have a longer life I guess? Really no issues here for me!!!

    Not far sort of awesome!!

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersMy first venture into airbrushing, never used one before. After researching the best way to thin the acrylic paints I use for my plastic model kits, found it very easy to use and gives a much better finish than brushing. Much less in the way of fumes (very little in fact) than using spray cans and uses a lot less paint too. Good results from the first try and very accurate. Cleaning seemed a bit complex from the instructions but it’s actually quite quick and simple. The fact that the compressor is also the stand alone rechargeable battery unit makes it very convenient. I know you can spend a lot more on airbrushes and compressors, however would heartily recommend this for a beginner like me and doubt I will ever want to upgrade it for my uses. Wish I’d bought one years ago.

I’ve never used an airbrush and didn’t want to spend too much and this was certainly worth it. The compressor works well – even in battery mode – and the ‘brush’ feels comfortable in the hand with a reasonable degree of control.
It took a bit of practice and experience but overall I’m happy with the result as can be seen in the photo.
It comes complete with decent instructions and my only criticism is a lack of cleaning brushes/tools.

This Airbrush compressor kit is ideal for painting my 3D printed models. The compressor is portable and can be used for up to 70 minutes via its battery power. This is ideal for outdoor use as no power supply is needed. You can also use the AC plug if you are more static.

The gun creates a fine even coverage and produces a flawless finish. There are cheaper alternatives to this airbrush kit however this one is well worth the money for its flexibility alone.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI have been using this primarily to paint various little craft projects I have been doing. I have a small lasercutter so I cut various pieces out of wood and acrylic. Before buying this, I was using a paintbrush and paint which was starting to become quite difficult due to the irregular shapes and sizes. I am going to break it down to the basic pluses and minuses of this product:

Battery-powered – Has an inbuilt battery that lasts about an hour which is extremely useful for taking it outside

Simple Setup – Instructions are clear and very easy to follow. I was up and running in about 20 minutes

Coverage – Once you dial the settings to match your workpiece you are able to achieve a nice even coat in half the time vs paintbrush

Portable and quiet – The whole thing is very small and easy to carry around which is perfect for me carry back and forth to my small workspace

Not suitable for big items – I would not really recommend using it on big items because it’s more suited for fine and delicate work.

Clean after every use – Not really a negative of just this item but of all airbrushing kits. They require you to clean after every use which involves taking the airbrush apart. This is to stop blockages from building up so something to keep in mind.

Overall, it’s perfect for what I use it for and I recommend it to anyone looking for painting 3D printed models or small home crafts.

    Excellent Airbrush for a hobbies

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersThis is my first air brush ever, I’ve never used one before but I always wanted one for my DIY projects and repairs. I like the compactness of this air brush and it looks pretty sleek. I’ve had to spend a few hours on YouTube learning to use an airbrush, almost like learning to write again. It has been a great experience and I’ve loved using and playing with it. I had done my research prior to ordering this one and I’m pleased with this once I’ve learnt how to use an airbrush. I’ve been using Vallejo paint along with the thinner and the cleaner. It has worked great. It’s a nice little kit for anyone who likes to be a little creative or artistic.

    Compact, works well

We are using this to re-paint our woodburner but will use for arty projects and others. It is a battery (rechargeable) system for air spraying with an adjustable spray and paint approach meaning that finer work can be completed. The battery solution gives massive flexibility and for smaller or intricate projects a very useful device. The only downside is that the paint hopper is quite small so you are regularly re-filling, however this is not a huge pain provided you are quick with the re-fill. Cleans up well too and has not choked. Price is fair and I think we would be happy with the price if not a review item.

Golden Review Award: 68 From Our UsersAfter printing my models on a 3D printer i like to do a bit of painting, up until recently i was finishing it off by hand but had seen others get much better finished by using an airbrush so i decided to take the leap.

I feel i currently have the bulk painting down to a T which is honestly the easiest bit, no i just have to get used to the more finer details with this airbrush. The unit is nice and compact and has everything you need to paint models like 3D items etc.

The unit although reasonably quiet does get annoying after about 4hrs of work, but this isn’t really an issue as it just reminds me to take a break. it is set up so you can leave everything in place including a stand to keep the nozzle off the desk which is nice and handy. I have also seen that i can run it for a while on battery, although I’m always using it next to a plug, it’s a nice to have option.

If like me you are painting 3D models then this is definitely the way to go to get more detail in your work

Golden Review Award: 47 From Our UsersI’m starting to develop my 3D prints a bit more and have started dabbling in painting them. I’ve got a long way to go but for some of the bigger prints I thought it would be good to spray them instead of using a brush.

I always thought they were really expensive and I didn’t really know what I needed or wanted so did a bit of research and lots of looking before I found this one which seemed to his hit all of my criteria.

It’s battery powered so I can take it outside to my garden without the need to worry about running power cables.

It comes with everything you need apart from the paint.

It has 3 settings for pump strength and the instructions are clear what they are suited to. On that note, for someone who’s never used an airbrush before I was very happy with the instructions as they explain exactly how to set up and use the airbrush and perhaps more importantly, how to clean and store the airbrush to keep it in top condition.

My first time using it was a little nerve racking but it was very easy to use and in no time at all I’d gotten the hang of it and was spraying away.

There is a good amount of pipe supplied so I never felt restricted by that and it works extremely well in the hands of a novice producing some very acceptable results.

If your nervous like I was, just make sure you clean everything properly and you’ll be fine.

    Works grea

Great little compressor and airbrush set. My first time using a small compressor and airbrush combination. I found it simple to se up and so far have only used it for a few practice attempts. Compressor is small, quiet and lightweight. Ideal for use on a kitchen table etc. I would recommend as a first compressor and as a replacement for those who do not use it extensively as it does run a little hot after constant use.

Despite the interesting instructions (translated into English) which made me a little afraid to try this, it’s surprisingly easy to use and works beautifully. I tried it with drawing ink and managed to get a nice mist, and a ‘splat’ effect first go. There are various twiddly bits on the ‘gun’ which I believe can be adjusted to create different effects.

The unit can be used plugged into the mains, but this will charge its battery so it doesn’t need to be plugged in. There’s an on/off switch on the underside of the unit for power. On the top there’s another power button for the actual sprayer. Press once and it gives a light amount of air, twice or three times for more power through the gun. Hold the button in to switch it off – don’t forget to turn it off underneath once you’ve finished to ensure that the power doesn’t drain. Sensibly there are two pen holders that will attach to the side of the unit so you don’t have to lay it down on its side. Open the cap on the reservoir and fill it with whatever liquid you want to use, turn on the sprayer and control it using the button on the gun. All good fun to play with!

Golden Review Award: 43 From Our UsersThe compressor seems excellent value, my main set up is an iwata system but not being portable and located in the shed I decided to take a chance on this. Golden Review Award: 38 From Our UsersMy better half has always been a keen cake decorator but never used an airbrush before.
She therefore jumped at the chance to try this out.
When it arrives its smaller than i expected which is great when working in an average sized kitchen.
I charged the battery first but it arrived almost fully charged.
We always have a variety of gel food colouring in the house so we used these in the airbrush. To do that just let the gel down with a few drops of vodka.

The airbrush seemed very easy to use in the steady hands of my girlfriend, she managed a nice fade effect on an iced cake.
She commented that it was nice and light to hold, well balanced, the air pipe was a good length and had didn’t hinder movement at all.
One thing which did surprise her was the concentration of the colouring which came out, being darker/stronger than expected but she soon adjusted to it.

Once finished we simply emptied the resevoir and then ran some water through it until the spray was clear, to clean it out.

The battery lasted the hour we needed it to, how long it ultimately lasts I’m afraid I cant say but overall its a very impressive piece of kit. It should get plenty of use at the hands of my girlfriend and I think it offers excellent value for the price asked.

I hope you find my review helpful.

This is a really nice bit of kit. in the box you get the compressor, the airbrush, charger, instruction manual, hose and 2 brush holders.
The airbrush itself comes in a storage case with a pippet and mini spanner. You also get 3 spare washers.
Never used one before but I thought I’d try something new in lockdown.
I really like the fact that you can use it as cordless or whilst it’s charging which means you don’t have to wait for it to charge if your in the middle of something.
It’s easy to set up and start using. The compressor needs to be turned on with the main switch under the unit then you can use the power button on the top. This button also controls the pressure settings. It has a memory function and turns back on to the power you were last using.
The airbrush feels quite good in the hand. It feels solid but not heavy. The spray is adjustable by turning the nozzle and you can control the air/paint flow button by turning the back of the brush.
Trying it with food colouring first but will probably use it for paint after. Either way I’m going to enjoy experimenting.

    Easy for beginners.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersHaving never owned or used an airbrush before this one, I was a little antsy that it’d be difficult to get used to. I was wrong.

This machine is really easy to use, thanks to the instructions. The airbrush can be used from the power pack, or through mains with the cable enclosed. The machine itself isn’t too loud, and I was able to get the hang of it pretty easily.

There’s only two things I don’t really like. The instructions don’t have any details of what sort of paint / ink / dye you can put in here, so I had to spend some time trying to find out whether I’d need to dilute stuff or not. Additionally, the charger is a little short in my opinion; it wasn’t long enough to keep on charge and use whilst sat as a table. Obviously that isn’t a major issue since you can use it without, but it is a little bit of a nuisance.

All in all though, it’s a pretty nice little machine for anyone who wants to dabble with airbrushing. I do think you could find a cheaper one on the market though.

Golden Review Award: 40 From Our UsersThis is excellent choice for any hobbyist who need to paint bigger areas. Straight out of the box unit impress with design and high quality. Air compressor look really like professional kit, every detail makes it more expensive than it actually is. They supply you with everything you need plus some extras like airbrush holders, extra rubber rings for sealing connectors.

Biggest advantage of this Airbrush in my opinion is build-in battery so no need charger cable constantly connected to operate which makes it super portable. You not relaying on power socket and can easily move with it anywhere you want which is extremely handy. Hose is long enough to give freedom in movement especially if you working on bigger project which require to move around etc.

Air compressor is very easy to operate. ON/OFF switch underneath to turn power on, then main black button on top to change pressure level ( between 1 and 3 ). Machine only turns on when you actually using airbrush and push trigger on spray gun. In any other case air compressor “sleeping”.

Spray brush looks and work amazing. Easy to operate, very comfortable in hand. I print this figure on Green army man to test this air brush and realized how easier is to paint bigger areas, before i have used just regular brush and this takes ages. With Air brush you always cover 100% of area, no missing spots. While i was using it i was applying light layers. I didn’t wanted to go over the top, so eventually i put like 3 layers of primer. And this was 3-4 drops of primer in cup so this is very efficient machine. Since it is cover very well bigger areas i am not sure about smaller details, probably you still would need to use normal brush but this takes a big chunk of job from you. Really very happy with product.

Professional Air brush for any project, perfect for painting figures

To begin turn over and open the battery compartment and pull out the little ribbon which is in place to prevent battery damage whilst the item is in warehouse storage, pop the cover back on and move the button underneath across to on then turn over. Plug in the power which is a three pin plug with a wire about 1m in length. There are green lights which indicate that it’s charging and how much charge you have. Mine arrived almost fully charged. Screw in the rubbery hose, both ends are identical, to the ‘pen’ and the other end to the red motor. There’s a black button on the top of the machine, hold down for a couple of seconds and the compressor is now on and ready to go but it won’t work until you move the small knob on the arm of the ‘pen’ either backwards towards you or by gently pressing down. Release your finger and it stops.

A few practice runs are probably best to get a feel for the pressure, the items size makes it ideal for cake decorating or art. If you’re going to be using for cake decorating using cheaper food colouring to practice on paper or cardboard is wise and reserve your best quality colourants for when you’re comfortable with the pressure.

There are three different pressures which are changed by pressing the black button on the top of the machine, as seen in my video review.. The reservoir is a good size, it’s quite small butbyou wouldn’t want it too large because it would disturb your balance for spraying, its placed in the best position which is near towsrds the tip so you do have good control with your work. For an even finish keep your hand moving back and forth or up and down.

It’s recommended that you stop every after 70 minutes or so of use to prevent the compressor overheating and apparently you can get up to 70 minutes use from one charge. To get this amount of time it will be on the lowest PSI (pressure), the higher the power used the shorter time the charge will last.

To clean unscrew the pen part and empty the reservoir and rinse clean then attach again and add clean water and switch on to allow the clean water to flow through, depending upon how dark your colourant was will determine how many times it needs a flush.

Switch off fully by moving the button underneath and allow to dry fully before putting back in the box.

This product is well presented and comes with extra little washers top, the box is strong and the compressor is well supported inside the box.

A nifty bit of kit but I think having a reservoir that was interchange so you could have a few different colours on the go in separate reservoirs would have been a good idea for this price point, that’s my reason for removing a star.

A great gift for a cake decorator to develop new skills.

This is an amazing gadget, I use this for nail art and make up but can be used as so much more. Doesn’t feel weighty in my hand and can be controlled very easily, absolutely love this

Airbrush Compressor Kit is very impressive. It has everything you need for airbrush. Be it makeup paint or cakes. Only downside is extra nozzles which you can’t even get on amazon. If they did that I would have given 5* but its only 4* for that reason.

This is the first time I’ve used something like this, not easy to compare to other makes and models.
First impressions are what appears to be a well made product, a good size and all seems pretty straight forward to use.

The compressor is rechargeable, comes with the AC adaptor, once charged and in constant use the charge lasted for around 15 minutes, not the 70 as stated in the description

Everything you’ll need is included, the airbrush is easy to hold and well balanced.

Using it is great, I haven’t really mastered the art of free arm, but Its great if using stencils or block colours.
Cleaning is a faff, but I guess that goes for anything like this, it needs a clean every time you change the colour of ink etc.

Looking at what is available with similar features, its price is a little high, there does seem to be similar for less.

I do like board games, and I have quite a bit of miniature which I would like to paint. So then I got the opportunity to try this I was quite excited.
The air compressor itself is quite small and does not take a lot of space. Setting up is as well quite easy as you just need to connect an airbrush. As it is a chargeable compressor before first use charged fully so could enjoy the learning process, which is as well not very hard. As the pressure are adjusted by a one-button press. For my miniatures, I used high pressure. And after using it I could tell it is perfect to do the base coating, much faster than doing it with hands and will save a bit of time. However, t do detailed painting it wouldn’t be possible. Will still try to get a smaller nozzle maybe what will improve the precision. Nevertheless, for a bit miniatures, it is perfect and I really enjoy it doing it. Overall, it is a perfect beginners compressor kit, to get used for the whole process of painting with an airbrush.

I chose this because I’m interested in cake decorating, art in general and also wanted to see what all the fuss is about air compressors versus conventional sprayers like those you get for perfume.

This is a micro air compressor and as such ideally suited to small area coverage with paint. I understand it can be also used for lacquer for nails or other non water based paints but see this as an end of the road destination for this appliance since once used for that there’s no way I’d be confident enough to use it for edible water based food colouring as I do not think it would completely be able to be removed from inside the device.

So initially I thought maybe a device with exchangeable reservoir cups would be a better option but now realise having used it and thought about it more that it only needs one reservoir as it is going to have yo be cleaned anyway between uses of various paints or food colouring so it’s fine as is.

This arrived already almost full charged and though it had a plug UK mains and cable this was not needed though was tried and tested by me to check it fitted and the device lights lit up as described in the manual. It was fine.

The cloth covered air cable fitted snugly and there were extra o rings included in the pack which were not needed as there already were some one each in each end.

There is a slider on off under the machine and once this is moved to on, the top press button works. This starts as high power 3 lights and can be changed to low 1, medium 2 and high 3 again. The control is further made by use of the trigger on the paint pen. This initially is just be pressing it a few times (after filling reservoir with milk consistency paint or colour ideally) to prime it. I thought the control excellent as by way of this and by turning the front screw cover changes could be made from fine to heavy (,which is fine just less fine!) but then found additional level of flow control was achieved by whilst pressing the trigger pulling back on it. This speeded up the flow a lot.

I’ve done a few letters and posted the images of these which were made with blue food colouring. This shows effect of changing the nozzle from almost closed to fully open and on the one where 1 2 3 numbers are written this refers to the power level of the machine where 3 is high.

I haven’t used the pulling back on the trigger to write with as it was too great and I didn’t want to ruin my table but used it on my cats litter box silica gel crystals which were pink and saw the blue colour was added much more rapidly with this further trigger use.

The key points I found are that it requires unplugging when charged and not left on charging as they said this will ruin the battery, recharge it 3 months during storage, cleaning it after use with some detergent and water rinse then use a thin end of kitchen towel in the needle and nozzle area, and not to use it more than ten minutes in a row as it will overheat. So I have adhered to all of this as it’s a beautiful machine I want to get the most out of.

I recommend this air sprayer for cake art and for painting. I haven’t used it for nails art but can testify to its capabilities to administer very very fine amounts of the paint I used and provided the lacquer used is diluted to a milk like thickness there’s no reason to think it wouldn’t also behave this well.

Ten minutes max use per session and don't leave it charging once charged.

This is a really useful bit of kit, and so far works really well. The output area is smaller than what I’m used to, but this does mean it’s quite precise if your work requires.

I chose it as I normally buy cans of spray paint for interior artwork, and I wonder if this would end up being cheaper in the long run, and I think it will. For the cost of 8 cans of spray paint ive already covered buying this plus a tin of coating paint, so from now on I can buy cheaper paint and just use this and it will be great.

The one downside id say is unlike branded versions of these machines, you can’t easily get spare parts, so if you decide to use it for enamel paint for example you’re stuck with that as you can’t get a spare nozzle to then decide to do makeup or cakes.
