The Cubo is a simple, easy to pitch Drive away camper van awning from OLPRO. This geodesic design uses just two fibreglass poles to create extra living or storage space for your camper van. The Cubo is designed to remain standing as you detach your campervan and drive away for day trips out.
How to attach the Awning to your camper van:
The best way to attach the awning is by threading the beading on the tunnel into the awning rail or the Guttering using the Figure of Eight attachment. If your camper van does not have either of these, there are straps included which go over the top of the vehicle, either side of a pop-up roof if you have one, and peg down the other side.
Simplistic Design
Two Fibreglass Poles
This design is made using two fibreglass poles that cross over in the centre to create a rigid structure. This means that the awning can be pitched and packed away within a 15-20 minute timeframe. It’s that simple, you could even get it up before that time.
190T OLTech Polyester
The Cubo is made from a durable 190T OLTech Polyester which has a hydrostatic head rating of 5000mm H/H. This material will withstand 5 litres of water on the fabric before it will start to leak.
Driveaway awning
The tunnel simply attaches to your awning rail. If you don’t have an awning rail you can throw the tunnel straps over the camper and peg them down the other side for the quickest form of driveaway. If you have a gutter rail or a wind out awning, you might need a different connection kit.

I’m very happy however the only minus is that water leaks through the seam where it connects to the van when it rains
Bought this for a T5 it was easy to erect and is a brilliant addition th camping
Used on a micro camper, makes a very usable space. Easy to disconnect and drive away and loads of space. Up in 20 mins. Great value for money and packs away in a neat lightweight bag.
Good value, easy to fit onto VW Caddy van . Lots of room inside with sewn in ground sheet . However slight leak when it rained , and the elastic snapped whilst away when it was fitted ! But I ordered another as first one may have been faulty
I’m not so able bodied and with the help of a friend we put this up in 30 mins. Very easy to do. I must admit it could have been a little tighter and squarer in places but that was down to us not the tent. I would suggest buying a groundsheet to go down first as it was a little thin under foot. So we will put one down next time. Easyish to get the spacing right for the door. But again I think that will be easier next time round. For a first go, I think we did pretty well. Also I might add I took this down and packed away myself with no problem at all. Yes the bag supplied didn’t do up so a bigger bag would be nice, but if that’s the worse thing I can say about this tent, then I’m happy. Plenty of head height for us girls at 5’5 and taller person might find it a tad small around sides as it is domed. We used the straps to go over the roof of the van as we didn’t have a rail on my van. So I might buy a magnetic strip to attach for next time.
We also had a wind and rain storm whilst we were pitched (British summer) and the tent was dry and stayed in place. Looking forward to using it again.
Just come back from a couple of days to try this awning for the first time highly recommend it. Easy to put up easier to take down. I am so please with it good space in side.
