Haben es 2x bestellt und auf der berdachten Terrasse als Hundeschutzgitter montiert. Muss allerdings sehr weit unten angebracht werden, dass der Hund nicht unten durch geht.

Using this product as an extra barrier to the front door to prevent pet’s getting out when the front door is opened. Works a treat and looks great. Better than a conventional baby gate as it’s only closed when needed to be, the roller mechanism is smooth and strong. Added bonus is that it comes with 2 fitting kits so you can easily use it in more than one place. 5 Star product and perfect for the application we’ve out it to.

We used this to help keep the dog out of certain rooms when she is muddy, so far it has done the trick and sits away neatly when we are not using it.
Really easy to set up
Really like this baby gate. It was the only I could find that would cover the gap we had! It’s 6ft wide so can cover a double door space easily. Nice to install with the template on the side of the box so it’s easy to line all of the screws up.
Sturdy and makes stairs stressfree
This has been a life saviour for us…our LO started going up this stairs faster than we thought! Bought this to use as a baby gate and it’s been a blessing! Its sturdy and decent length…he’s unable to pull it open …sits well and has fixed well . Our 6 year old is also able to functionally use it …so it’s a win win situation ! Happy with the look and the functionality!
Practical
Fitted stairwell and looks neat, not the quickest gate to install but the instructions are good. We use it to keep the puppy off the stairs and also the grandchildren. Good value.

We decided on this to replace the previous metal stair gate that we had. The main problem with the previous one was that the dog would struggle to hop over the bottom bar as it lied across the middle of a step. With this one, when it is open there is nothing for the dog to have to manouevre over. It was easy to fit and it looks great. It serves its purpose well… keeps the 1 yr old downstairs. The gate retracts nicely and rolls itself up. Even when not in use it doesn’t look out of place at all and so we wouldn’t necessarily feel the need to take it down when no longer needed. For the price, I am very impressed with it.

This is the best thing for an open door way with no door!!! It is mounted on the front of the doorway so not reducing the opening at all. Only problem is the adults who just don’t have a clue about locking and opening it. The toddlers could probably show them! But an ideal solution to a pressing problem

Good for unconventional locatio
We got this to use at the bottom of the stairs as a baby gate. We couldn’t get a standard one as it’s a wonky old house with big thick skirting boards on the stairs so nowhere to attach it on the stairs. This is perfect as you don’t have to fit it straight across the stairs, it can curve around the bottom step to attach to the wall. We have one side attached to the bannister which is slightly behind the bottom step and the other side attached to the wall, slightly in front of the bottom step. It works perfectly and looks nice too. Baby has had a go at removing it but gave up very quickly. Job done. My 4 year old is able to open and close it when he needs to which is a bonus.

I wanted a barrier to stop the children that we have in care running up the stairs all the time, I didn’t need anything too robust, just a barrier so this fit the bill.
It was really easy to fit and took about 10 minutes all in, although I had already fitted a couple of these so new what I was doing.
The barrier goes into a nice compact roll which sits on one side of the wall when not in use and pulls out to cross over to the other side where there is a clip it hooks into. I don’t think I would use this as a barrier to stop them from going down the stairs as if someone ran at it with enough strength I’m not sure how well it would hold. But as a barrier to stop them from going up its great. It’s actually also stopped our dog going up and barking at everyone walking up the street too so that’s an added bonus.
Quality wise as I mentioned I have others to compare to and this is probably the most sturdy one I have so far. I’ll probably need another one to stop them going out in the garden whilst leaving the door open.

We are renters and didn’t want to put screws in on our base boards so we installed right above. Unfortunately, baby figured out how to crawl underneath. Maybe not the best product for renters. Easy to install across an extra wide doorway, it comes complete with full instructions & all fittings needed to attach it securely to the door frame, u will need to drill holes to secure it to the frame. I like that it is a mesh barrier that can be seen through so u can keep an eye on your child or pet & it doesnt block out the light. It can be used indoors or outdoors & its easy to open & shut with just one hand with a child safety lock on it for if u are using to keep children contained in one area of your house. It clips on easily to the hooks that u attach to the other side of the door so u can close it swiftly without anyone escaping. It is quite pricey but all extra wide stair gates are & its better to have it than be running around after children or pets that are in unsafe conditions or situations. It looks like it is good quality & built to last so hopefully it will be worth the cost.

I found it actually quite hard to put up in the 1st place….maybe thats because of the door frames or maybe its because the instructions were not that good.
Either way took a good while to actually get It together and attached to the door frame.
Now its up its actually an okay gate although no good for the dogs as they have learnt to jump it.

Fitted across the back door which goes off my dad’s bedroom. He likes to nap with the door open but the dog likes to run out to chase birds or cats which come into the garden. This should keep her from getting into trouble during nap time

These are great easy to hang, also I got it him on one door so can go across my stairs too, there was extra parts so we could do Thai. Definitely would recommend for stairs as normal metal ones you can easily trip over. There is nothing on the step or floor with this stair gate for you to trip on 🙂 so highly Recommend:)

I was kinda scared reading the reviews. But all of the fears vanished once installed. It was quick 5-10 minutes baby can still see on the other side but not get in. It’s super easy to retract when she’s asleep and we need easy access to the other room. Some people were saying it retracts and hits their baby in the face. Well duh !! You need to keep baby safely away when you do. And don’t just let it go it’s like retracting a measuring tape you need yo guide it.

It`s not very often I leave reviews but this definitely deserves one, fitted at our side door to keep our choccie lab in, the gate is really easy to install with great easy to follow instructions, it comes with templates you can put up on the wall to mark holes, saving you having to measure the right spot to drill, it even comes with spacers so if you are fitting on a wall with a skirting board, the spacers ensure the gate is level, I purchased a cheaper version first and found that half the bits were missing so returned that one, glad i did in favor of this one, it is brilliant and I guess most importantly will stop the dog going for a wander on his ow

I don’t often write reviews on Amazon but had to offer some really positive feedback for this item. We have a number of awkward distances that needed gates across them to stop our toddler getting through – including a narrow staircase and a really wide one outside. We also had a problem with a traditional pressure gate in our new house when the bannister couldn’t take it and started leaning. This gate solved all our issues, so much so we bought another one to replace another pressure gate.
It’s important to state that you’re almost certainly going to need a drill to install it, which might be a bit daunting, but the installation make as simple is possible (giving you full length sheets of paper to line up against the wall to show where to drill the holes). You are supplied with a variety of screws depending on the wall and extra bits of plastic in case there is a skirting board pushing the lower attachment further out. You can attach the gate on two facing surfaces (eg on stairs) or on two walls facing in the same direction (i.e. covering an opening).
For me the best bit is the ability to move the gate. We have installed in four locations but only bought two gates. You get two sets of attachments with each gate so this works really well. We move the two downstairs to upstairs depending on the time of day.
I bought another brand/same style and I liked that one better than this one. This one's hooks are a lot shorter and sometimes my daughter realizes she can just push hard enough to knock it off. Overall it's a good buy but I wish I bought the other one again isntead.

Bought in February and took 3 consecutive days of thunderstorms before my hound frantically crawled under it and broke one of the wall mount pieces. Good product....wish we could purchase replacement mounting supplies, because she's just a big baby.

Insufficient for smart dogs
Have had this thing for about 6 months in order to keep a saint bernard puppy confined to a laundry area instead of using a crate. I really like the retractable feature because then it’s not always in the way.
However, he could fit under it when he was 12 lbs and can still fit under it at 120 lbs. He essentially learned that if it’s hooked, then he’s supposed to stay back there, but eventually he also learned he can take his giant paw, bash at it once and unhook it. We started finding him wandering the house when we got home from errands. He hasn’t broken the hooks or torn the mesh, which is impressive, so it’s definitely well made.
But if you need something sturdy to actually keep pets or kids at bay, this probably isn’t it. If you’re okay with a deterrent that is conveniently out of the way when you don’t need it, this is pretty good.

We have a 100lb Shepherd/Lab mix who loves getting into the trash and has opened every pet and toddler lock we’ve tried in the past. Before we got this, there was an actual patio brick on top of the trash can. It’s tall enough that he hasn’t tried to jump it, and easy enough to open and close that the 7 yr old can do it himself.

Perfectly easy for a mother carrying a baby to use. Quick release/unlock, then unhook and it retracts as a roller blind. Make sure to follow fitting instructions and keep low to the ground or else smaller beings will escape.

Achet pour mettre en haut des escaliers pour viter la petite marche qu’il y a avec les barrires. Il a fallu quelques travaux pour l’installer mais ensuite trs facile ouvrir et fermer d’une main. Solide et ne se dforme pas mme avec mon fils de trois ans qui s’appuie dessus. Par contre il a vite trouv comment la dverrouiller, le systme est trop simple.
Not safe
I’ve waited until now to write a review on the product to see how practical and safe it is. I bought three of these together as we just bought a house and I wanted discreet gates in the house. Only one was installed downstairs until we made adjustments for others to be installed. I still only have one installed but I’m on my second gate in 3 months! The first my 14 month old lost her footing and went into the gate which then snapped off the bracket and my little girl ended up with an injury. We replaced it with another, hoping it was just a faulty one-off but the other gate broke in the same place and luckily no injuries were inflicted. I’m really disappointed in this product and really love the ease and discreetness but I can’t back the gate as being safe.

Mis en place a pied d’un escalier tournant, a la hauteur de la 2eme marche. Nous sommes trs satisfaits de la simplicit d’utilisation et de la rapidit d’ouverture/fermeture. Mme notre fils de 5ans arrive parfaitement utiliser la barrire.

You’ll want to buy screws for this product, but that’s the only negative I’ve encountered within the first day of setting this up.
The rest of the installation was made easy with the ingenuously thought out methods of securing the hardware to the wall. Do not throw away the box as soon as you’re done unpacking, because on the side there is a panel you can cut out that has the distance between the two brackets already measured out. Just put on the wall, mark it, proceed to the next side.
The sturdiness depends on the screws you buy. I bought size #8 1 1/2″ brass course threads and it works just fine. You’ll need 12 in total.
The rest works as advertised!
Update: After one month of use, my son has learned that he can crawl underneath of the gate. This does not work if the gate is locked and it is taut, however getting the people in your house accustomed to doing so may take some time and a couple of unexpected visits from your child.

I like this design as it almost disappears when not required. I don’t know what I got 2 sets of all of the clips and twice as many screws. It could be cheaper perhaps with fewer spare parts. Overall a great product. Well designed.

We look after one daughter’s dog and he had to have an operation on his back so isn’t allowed upstairs any more so this is to stop him and it works fine. Easy to open and close and goes back out of the way when we don’t have to use it.
Reassuringly sturdy.
I bought this for my Dad’s house. He is over 80 and can be a bit unsteady if he gets up in the night. We fitted this across the top of the stairs to prevent falls. I’ve tested it by leaning against it and it is sturdy and reassuring. It is easy to extend and lock in place. The ‘oldies’ feel very reassured by having it there.
Good gate with no bottom rail
We swapped our conventional gate for this one because in the dark we kept stumbling over the bottom bit – we had to fix it to the stairs and the bottom part took over half of the stair.
This one doesn’t have any bottom bit so we are loving it! The cats can seep through the side, while the baby can’t. It is soft in case baby bashes her head on it. Easy to manipulate with one hand.

I got this gate because we have a metal railing and could not use a conventional swing gate. This was easy enough to attach, it comes with plenty of hardware and wall anchors. Good and usefull baby gate, this gate has solved the stairs problem very easy. It can be used downstairs or upstairs, you can move it easy and it is the same thing with the instalment especially because in the package you have many more screws, hooks and accesories than you need (they are different sized too so you don’t have a problem ehen you need different size on screes). The thing that I liked the most is that I had two pairs of mounting hooks, one for downstairs and one for upstairs this way I don’t need two baby gates and only this one that can be easly moved.

Technically we didn’t buy this for a baby gate… Was to gate off stairs from our new rescue cats so they didn’t keep coming up and waking us up all hours of the morning… So slightly different use but may be worth mentioning if others thinking for a similar use.
Firstly its easy to install. The guide papers for drilling are a fantastic idea! Full credit to whoever included them.
Comes with 2 sets of fixings, which could be useful for moving the gate easily in the day. It Looks OK, but would be useful for instructions on how to hand the opening directions. But by far best of all, no toe stubbing nightmares!!
If looking for a cat /pet gate however the bottom is too flexible, even slightly fat adult cats can get under. We ended up adding a draft excluder cushion behind to block the gap. Works now.
Overall better than nothing for our use, definitely better than a white metal toe breaking baby gate, but not perfect.
Fácil de instalar y usa
Muy fcil de instalar sobretodo por las dos guas que vienen a tamao real tanto en la caja como dentro de ella. Lo ms prctico es que el tamao se adapta bastante y es muy til la manera que tiene de ajustarla para quitarla y ponerla. Recomendado para personas mayores
Facile da utilizzare, buon materiale
Gran bel prodotto, soprattutto utilissimo per chi deve isikrad una parte della casa dal resto, per proteggere animali o bambini. Mi piace sopratutto il fatto che anche da dietro il tessuto riesco a vedere il piccolo cosa fa quindi mi sento tranquilla perch lo controllo nonostante tengo il cancelletto chiuso. Mto facile da montare per fortuna e assolutamente comodo da aprire e chiudere. Non facilissimo aprirlo per un bimbo piccolo quindi al momento perfetto per l’uso che ne faccio. Ne acquister un’altra che installer da un’altra parte della casa. Ottimo prodotto.
