These cameras are great, I can check on my house any time from anywhere, we live in the country so its a reassuring way of keep an eye on the house

Great camera
on a negative it does not zoom in/out as per the product description. Setup could be easier but once its all connected its a great camera for the price, fingers crossed it keeps working.
Awesome camera for the price
The camera is truly fantastic. I have had several (much more expensive) camera over the last few years as I work in the security industry. This one is my favourite and three of my neighbours bought one after seeing mine. Manage it from a Mac/PC or from Android/IOS.
Love the human detection feature. Alerting is simple to configure and the camera performs faultlessly.
There is no requirement to purchase a storage service for anything that the camera detects, just email alerts instantly or save them to the on-board SD card.

Great Product at a great price
Another reason why I got this camera was to catch the dog owners who kept taking their dogs to foal on my gravel and as you can see she is busted as I can easily go back to all the motion alerts :_)
I had issues with 2 previous manufacturers which I had to return but have had this camera for many months now and stood the test of time . I like I can alter the sensivity and also has human detection and very rarely false alarms unlike my last which triggering alarms of every time it rained so this camera is def another bonus
Also the after sales service is exceptional and they addressed any questions or queries I had
A point to note that I had issues with the camera going off line but wasnt a fault with the camera but the router was too far away. So if the camera is going off line , check Wifi Manager in WiFi settings and if you have low signal ( maybe below 40%) you will have intermmitent connectio issues. But as soon as I moved the router a few feet nearer to the camera , and keep the router upright my signal immedately increased to 70% and hasent gone off line since , although if thi isnt possible I would think you would need get a Wifi booster.
The other thing worth noting is if you dont see video going back far go to your planned recordings and select search button and “within a week” option .
Great camera with good quality footage
Camera was easy to set up and the picture at both night and day is really good quality. The automatic control tracking works well and follows any movement outside. I had to contact Customer Services and they were quick to respond and really helpful.
Excellent security camera
Only thing this lacks is a real-time zoom, it does let you zoom in digitally though. Using with a card and not FTP with no problems. Connected easily with my WiFi network as well.

The use for this is the bright white less that come on and track with the camera anyone then knows they have been seen. It’s also good to guide you on your driveway

Originally brought 1 camera to assist with protecting the front of my house, however after seeing the quality I brought another. It’s pretty simple to setup as long as you follow the instructions and are near the Wi-Fi router. Great piece of kit for the money!

Bought to view birds on feeders. Good clarity. Instructions have been translated better than previous version of camera. Different name same maker.

I bought this to film the wildlife in and around my back garden, the picture quality is very good and pan and tilt work well. It will also deter potential crime happening near me. I am very pleased with this product.
Room for improveme
Good picture quality camera night and day. Cumbersome to set up and link to WiFi – took me nearly 2 weeks, following troubleshooting help from Technical Product teams at Amazon and Ctronics. The app requires improvement, it doesn’t always pick up the camera as being online, even when connected to WiFi, closing and then reopening the app has worked for me so far.
For a reasonable price camera this does the job & it does it very well.

Bloody good camera
Easy to fit, easy to set up. Plugged mine straight into eithernet port so no issues with signal blockers or bandwidth. Image is perfect much better than camera’s twice the price night vision is equally as good. The infrared lighting really lights everything up as does the led if you wish too. App does everything it should possibly my only gripe is you have to play each 15 minute video individually and you can’t set the alarm record for longer than 10 seconds. You get everything recorded but you then have a lot of individual videos to go through. Still well worth the money. I might put one on the rear of the house too for that money:)

Smart looking, lightweight and easy to set up. Superb clear images, and a good recording time on a 64gb memory card.
I have 3 of these cameras around my house and had a few issues with 1 loosing connection, contacted Ctronics customer service and Elnum was brilliant, replied quickly and gave steps and instructions to work through and the issue now seems to be solved, 10/10 for customer service
No fuss installatio
This camera was very easy to connect to my router, run straight from my PC, great software, easy to set up even without instructions, more than one resizable alert zones can be placed on the image, very clear video both day and night, it will see colour at night only if there is some white light but i live in an area with no street lights, the infrared lights completely light up everywhere up to 100 meters, bright and very sharp video, no need for subscriptions, i use Onedrive personal with Windows, its FREE for backups and remote access, easy to see live on other web browser items through the router security as many users as you like, easy password setup for camera and set a different permission for each user, best place to mount is on the corner of the house, so good, I need more, its addictive, Update after 9 days, no problems, strange, this morning at civil twilight and dark outside to my eyes, i thought the camera was stuck on the previous day time but it was in full colour as if it was full daylight, whoa, i now expect better from tv shows to have quality like this, sharp and bright even in pitch black with a wide even coverage for 50 meters plus, need a Ctronics chat site for sharing experiences
Safety
The camera is brilliant. The app and PC program is a bit confusing but there support team is brilliant. Eric who helped me was brilliant.
So impressed that I bought a second camera within days.
Packed with features at a reasonable price. Probably not the easiest to set up, for someone like me, who is not that tech savy. Customer support was however first class and thanks to Eric it was up and running in no time. I purchased the first camera to monitor the front of our property and the second to monitor the rear.

Use this product all round the outside of the house reception is good let’s you know when anyone’s around.Works good with my phone can see what’s happening when I’m out.Lights up like a security light when turns to night vision but put the colour on auto.
Great camera for the money
Overall this is a fantastic camera for the money. Came nicely boxed and was easy to install. Instructions were okay but can find some more useful tips on setting up online (youtube)
Network seems very stable over the WiFi.
Picture quality is good, not amazing but good enough for what i wanted.
Setup was fairly easy. Can view on my phone or my pc. At some point i will setup to save directly to my NAS drive but originally when i tried i had issues.
My WiFi connection at the camera is around 15-20mb and this seems more than adequate.
Some points to improve:
– Human detection is not quick enough to react and start recording. Quite often missed what caused the detection. Yes i could go back to previous video but that is 10mins long and would need to skip to the end.
– Human detection recordings are only 14 seconds long. Not enough. Want it to continue to record while it detects something rather than having a string of short videos. I maybe wrong but i cannot seem to improve upon this in the settings.
– Detection areas. The phone and the desktop apps do not link. So never sure which to tweak.
– If a human moves quickly the camera does not keep up with them. (really not that quick though)
– Sometimes i have found that the camera does not always return to position 1 and stays in a strange position after a detection.
One huge positive is the customer support i have received. Before i purchased and afterwards i have emailed their customer support team and every time i have received a reply quickly and with lots of useful information. 5* for customer service, fantastic, keep it up.
I feel that this camera deserves 5* but just needs a couple of tweaks for me. Should these get sorted in the future then i will edit my review. For now though i fully recommend this camera for the house or as a friend of mine has done, for his business.

Clear pictures
Not had this long but so far so good. Software is a bit rubbish, ctronic app, zoom and focus buttons don’t function. However, used with CamHipro software, available on playstore which is a much better software and works with this camera and zoom and afocus work. Hard wired in due to wifi dropping out quite often. Other than that, this is a fantastic bit of kit for the price ( paid 39.99). Good quality pics
Great camera
I had an issue with getting the correct server settings, contacted customer services although in China, I had a reply within 4 hours sent them screen shots as they requested and they provided the info to correct the issue within an hour Lucy was great and issue fixed instantly. Great service now about to order an extra cctv camera .

Took the advice of previous reviewers and hooked it up to the router via the cable connection initially, and installed the software on a laptop and also the app on mobile phones. All easy to download and install. The software is not as intuitive as it could be, but it doesn’t take long to figure it out, select the camera and begin viewing. Once the connection is established, the cable can be removed and the wifi works immediately.
The cable connections are bulky but don’t fit into the mounting housing, this means a bigger hole is required through the wall, (a shade over 20mm diameter) or, as I did, mount the camera on a 100x100x50 mounting box to house the three plug ends. The power supply cable then only requires a hole of around 6mm to allow the power connector to pass.
Once installed, the camera works well, human detection, alarm and follow feature is great, with good clarity in bright daylight or darkness. I’ll probably purchase a second unit to serve other areas of my home.

Camera does the job
The main problem I encountered was the small size of the Instruction Manual. The small size made it difficult to read, particularly the Pictures.
Check outside from the comfort of your armchair.
Good detection of all round my property with the amount of angle of view, good night vision good to be able to store video onto memory card.

The only downside is you need to plug it in somewhere, but that being said for the price, the quality and playback function has exceeded my expectations. I find you can set the mode you want day, night and auto, I have mine set to day so that the led lights are off at night. I have the tracking on but it only seems to work in the day but this may be because of the setting I got it set at. I find the camera movement is smooth enough but you can’t alter the length of movement so you can’t control where you want the camera but that’s only a minor issue. There’s camera apps for Android and Apple systems but I can’t find one for the Kindle system which is a shame. On a whole I find this camera really good and meets all my needs at a great price, I’ve already recommended to friends.

More than just value for money
Well, I like it a lot! It was a little tricky to set up as I wasn’t used to connecting with the camera first in order to set it up online. I set the email notification up with Gmail, this needs 2 srep verification for the camera app but once done it notifies as an alarm email. Its an excellent product and total peace of mind.
The image quality is excellent and I have mine installed in the garden so the WiFi is great too. Mic is quiet so adjust it to full volume.

I set the email notification up with Gmail, this needs 2 srep verification for the camera app but once done it notifies as an alarm email. Its an excellent product and total peace of mind.
The image quality is excellent and I have mine installed in the garden so the WiFi is great too. Mic is quiet so adjust it to full volume.

Excellent product . Would definitely recommend only downside is no control panel to menover however this can be done by sliding finger across but would be perfect if icons on screen. I have emailed the developers and did get a response back As they are working on it. Good value for money. Excellent quality and sound.

Great to detect movements

I am a total cretin with IT stuff so my neighbours had to set it up for me. Picture quality is great and colour night vision is great. Had to buy an sd card and didn’t realise until my neighbours showed me today that it records on its own, just what I needed. It also shows you alarm recordings so you know to check the footage. It looks good in black and does what I need it to do when I’m getting tormented off my next door neighbour. Good manoeuvrability. Excellent value for money, compared to the price of cctvs with hard drive, just hope it lasts especially where I live is exposed to harsh weather.

Good quality; Easy to Use; Good value
I purchased 2 of these cameras (and now buying a 3rd one) for security on a renovation property. It was important that the cameras could observe a large area, be good in day and night time, and to be high in video recording quality. They tick all those boxes.
The cameras also have loud speakers and microphones, so good for detracting unwanted people, as well as a good light for security at night.
The cameras are easy enough to install. Overall, they are good value of the money
Would recommend buying the extra long power extension lead.
Bought this to just keep an eye on the cars out the front of the house.
Didn’t really expect a lot for the money.
But it well exceeds what I had expected.

Iv had this camera for the last couple of month now and have to say I’m very surprised on the quality of the camera with it been under 50 I paid for it, the night vision is spot on and the picture quality I have no bad words for it.
The only problem I had with the install I could not get it to connect to WiFi so I ended moving the rooter so I could run it off the cable and it went straight on and have not had problem with it.

Bought the model CTIPC-285C-B HD security camera to monitor my drive .
Set up was easy via phone method but my PC could not find it to set it up.
However the phone find control is a bit rough I want to line up with top of fence . so I get maximum area of my property watched Its very hard to do on my old phone but when I used a different program on my amazon fire tablet it was easy .. Can add a program to see camera on fire stick so can view on my main TV
I have been using for a while the continuous monitoring to Sd card is nice and the alerts when sent are easy to find . However it seems to be forgetting to do alerts and forget to frame humans . It was original fine and i can see the events happening on the continuous recordings on SD card. A reboot seems to cue the framing and alerts for a while. Not tried it yet but the email alerts and write to ftp server were a pleasant bonus . Sadly the cable for power , reset and ethernet are very large and you need a big hole in the wall to hide them . so not as clean as the photo they show
The framing of humans is strange as the box jumps around faster then the stream on my old phone
Otherwise very good . I may buy another when its on offer again.

Tricky to set up, easier when you ignore the instruction.
Bigger and heavier than expected but good quality.
Doesn’t physically zoom.
Being able to move it remotely is great.

Good budget camera
Overall pleased with the product,night vision is good tracking is ok,but details said zoom but there is none,and pan and tilt is not very precise,good enough for the workshop area but not for the the house

Seems to work well and for price a bargain. Have installed and run a long Cat6 cable from camera to router to save the issue with Wifi compatibility, etc. Others have had no problem, just like hard wired. Quality of picture is very acceptable but the zoom is only digital so at full zoom you lose the focus and quality. Set up on Windows 10 was a doddle so not sure why some say this is an issue and there are as many setting variations as you could want. Have installed the micro memory card and that works perfectly. Sound is good but having two way conversations does not work as well as hoped, but think will have to work on that one. You press and hold the microphone to talk and then release to listen. The only other issue I have had is that the mechanical function of the camera panning and tilting was really very noisy. Sounded like it was grating against something and was almost a deal breaker. Thought I might just open it up and see if there was anything that it was rubbing against, broken inside. Easy to do, four screws. Remember to make sure seal back in place when replacing. Anyway the gears, plastic, were what was making the noise as no lubrication used so got some light grease and put all over the gears and that has completely sorted the problem. I will reduce by one star for that as think this might be something the manufacturer should have done ?? I am happy enough to be thinking of a second one to cover another part of property. This will have to be wireless. .

Great item.. signal a little weak though keeps dropping the signal now and again but overall it’s a decent camera, perfect image and strong design.pricing is just right anymore then 39.99 and it’s starting to get not worth it.
