Good strong carbiner clips. The clip part is very responsive and holds well. They have many many uses so are very handy to have in but I am using some of them to hold a mesh panel to keep the dogs away from the door and they certainly do a brilliant job. 42kg of German Shepherd and they hold brilliantly. Very pleased with them and have no hesitation in recommending them.
These are very handy little things. They feel well made and fairly weighty. Just the right size to go through a tarpaulin eyelet so used them to secure it down to some pegs and keep the rain off some gardening equipment. Best used where weight isn’t an issue (e.g. aluminium would probably be better if you were using them as part of walking gear). My brother in law seemed interested in them for the various things he’s setting up in his weights gym – I suppose then we’ll see how sturdy they really are.
These carabiner clips are made of really decent quality. They’re weighty but not overly heavy, and very sturdy. We go camping quite a bit with the kids so these are perfect just for that. Definitely well worth the money and 5 stars all the way.
Arrived in two plastic bags so star deducted for wasteful single use packaging.
I wouldn’t use these for climbing or securing a dog, but for kit on a rucksack or a chalk bag these would be fine.
his is a handy item, sturdy and easy to use.
Outsal Carabiner Clips – 4 Pack.
These carabiner clips are better than I was expecting. They’re very well manufactured and are definitely built to last. The spring loaded opening clip is very strong. Carabiner clips are suitable for a variety of different uses. The price at time of writing is 4.70 for four, is excellent value in my opinion.
Got them to use as utility clips for various things i.e. carrying things on the outside of the backpack. They are big enough to fit most things yet a lot smaller than the climbing ones I have used. Saves my spare climbing ones as well for the actual climbing.
They are very strong and I have no doubt they could be used i.e. on a dog leash. Mine have no sharp edges so no risk of fraying the rope.
Four stainless steel Carabiners – so rust should not be an issue.
Size M6.
These are useful clips with a plethora of uses, and just very handy to have.
At a little over a pound each these are pretty good value.
I’ve got several items that use these small quick clip carabiners, whether exercise equipment of various descriptions or garden sun shades or something else, and I always seem to be short one or two carabiners. So, it’s nice to be able to get a few extra.
These carabiners are basically the same as any other that have come as part of a kit, and seemingly just as good quality. For some reason they are double wrapped in plastic, which is a negative to my mind (minus one star).
At the time of this review they are selling for 4.70, which is a reasonable enough price.
I’m happy to give these 4 stars
The metal material feels smooth both inside and outside. Simple to tie and unbuckle. Mountaineering is the one thing I wouldn’t do with them, but they’re great for holding things together. These should last for a long time.
I needed this for my daughter who is going on a hike with a big back pack that does not have a slot on the side for a water bottle so these carabiners are ideal for hanging off with easy access.
You get 4 carabiners in a pack for less than a 5.
The strong steel carabiner can hold up to 70kg but in my case it will be holding less than this. But I will have three to use for other things that may crop up.
These 60mm carabiniers by Outsal are good value at under a fiver for four currently from Amazon (so not much over a pound each) and they are tough and easy to use. They are made of 304 Stainless Steel so they are strong yet still quite lightweight with a spring clip that can be operated with one hand. They are quite heavy duty (up to 70Kg) but for safety they should not be used for any climbing activities. They are perfect for clipping accessories to backpacks when camping or hiking, and can be used with key-chains and even dog leads. If you need a set of four handy carabiniers with many uses then this inexpensive set by Outsal are well worth considering and get five stars for quality and value at the current price.
These are quite solid little clips and will be used for carrying camping gear. They come in a little pouch with a ziplock to keep them safe.
Superb quality
Great size very well made
Good price point 4.70 for 4 just over a 1 each for a Carabiner suitable for lots
I use in my backpack and as catches on a shed ( easy to open ) brillia
Just like the gym they are very strong, quality material steel you can use it for a variety of things you decide where it goes, I personally was expecting the larger ones these were the standard size bit small never the less great product.
This are silky smooth stainless carabiner clips that have a strong spring and align perfectly.
The jaws are a bit sharp when opened, so could be a problem with moving rope and snagging fibres when clipping onto them. A common issue though.
I have found a number of uses for these clips – mostly for attaching stuff to other stuff i.e. My ukulele bag to a wall fixing, my archery bag likewise and various other fixings. They are just really useful to have around. These are pretty heavy duty and great value for money at around one pound twenty each.
First impression:
The carabiner clips come in a small plastic bag. Different sizes are available from the supplier so check the sales page for dimensions. The shackle size measures out at M6 and the gate opening is 8.6mm.
Pros:
Strong M6 shackle.
The gate is spring loaded and a tooth locks into the shackle body for extra strength.
Corrosion resistant stainless steel.
Cons:
Nothing much really. Very slightly sharp edges to the gate. I stress that this is only slightly as the corners are pointed. Just watch your fingers when these shut.
Conclusion: I recommended these without hesitation. Strong latching design yet compact and corrosion resistant. These are not to be used for climbing or safety applications as there is no locking sleeve. I am going to use these to link an awning to ground anchors, where strength and corrosion resistance in important.
These carabiners are good value, well made and strong. I wouldn’t climb any mountains with them, but for hanging up items in the shed they do a very good job
I always like to have a couple of spare carabineers. I use them for attaching things to my rucksack; attaching bird feeders in the garden (they make them easy to take down for refilling); hanging stuff up in the garage. The only thing I don’t use them for is climbing!
These seem good quality, they are made from stainless steel and have a positive fit when closed.
If you are doing any rope work these are essential. You can quickly and easily clip items onto a line or join lines together or just clip stuff to stuff. I was taking down some large branches and these worked well for quickly throwing a line over and clicking into a safe position
Because these are steel they’re nice and tough. Aluminium looks nice but it’s nowhere near as strong. The latch is nice and springy with little chance of openinh by accident. These should last a good while
The title says it all. Very well built carabiner. With each weighing in at 27 g, they are strong. For the size and weight, I wouldn’t put them on my key chain but they’ve earned a place on my backpack.
I like these carabiners, they’re made of good quality metal and feel great. There easy to clip and unclip and they work amazingly. Perfect if you want to secure anything. You can use them on your keys, to attach bags together or anything. Great!
I wanted to try these to see if they could be used for hanging our quite heavy foldable solar panel on the hedge.
They can.
They are strong steel about 2.5″ long and the hinged bit works smoothly and clicks back into place rather than missing the clasp as sometimes happens with less well made carabiners.
Infinitely useful.
Would buy again.
