I got a black this time as I have had silver the last couple of microwaves, and I’m very happy with the colour. The black just blends into the background of the kitchen and looks sleek. The buttons are very clear and the microwave power is quick. All the family use it including 2 teenagers and there have been no issues. the door is easy to close and open and I’m happy with the make I would recommend for reheating dishes, cooking and steaming. Really good replacement for are old one.

Our existing micro wave stopped working.

This was a direct replacement for the same model we bought about 12 years ago. What else do you need to know? It is a great piece of kit – the Bosch of simple microwaves.

Unit replaces original model, the control labels on this model are not as easy to read.

A super size for small spaces but still adequate for cooking good size meals. Liked the colour too and found it easy to use. Pleased with it but found the auto reheating suggestions strange!

This a really neat compact microwave, though big enough to take a normal size dinner plate. The control pad is quick and easy to use, with a handy 30 second or one minute buttons for small food items. The defrost buttons allow you to increase the time by continuing to press after selection. The only small annoying feature is at the end of each programme, when the warning beep continues for five beeps even though you have opened the door. Should be programmed to stop after opening. Otherwise a nice piece of kitchen kit.

It does what it claims very well indeed. I like the choice of heats. The plate fits the guide easily and stays in place on the rotating wheels, when my experience is that not many microwave ovens do.

I like the simplicity of this appliance, such a handy item to any kitchen – I bought this basically for heating up, milky drinks and making porridge !
My reason for 4 stars is that the turntable feels a little insecure – although it isn’t, it appears not to sit right although this does not hamper the working of it – otherwise I would have given 5 *

This is slightly smaller than our old microwave but it suits us. We only use it for defrosting, heating small quantities of liquid and sometimes cooking/ reheating small quantities of food. It sits on top of our tall fridge at eye height which is great.

Always had Panasonic microwaves they last a long time and are very reliable. Does exactly what its says on the tin. The only reason I have given this 4 stars is because in the past we had had larger ones and to get a full size plate into the microwave you have to tilt it slightly

This Panasonic NN-E28jBMBPQ Compact Solo Microwave Oven 20 litres Black, purchased on the 16th of November 2020………. this Microwave arrived as promised on time in great condition, it was purchased as a replacement for an older larger model Panasonic Microwave that had given years of service…….. mostly used for defrosting & re-heating items of low volume……….. however after 6 months of very little use… this Microwave “CAUGHT FIRE”….. luckily I was in attendance & was able to respond by turning the Microwave off at the mains…….. If I had not been able to do this I fear that the whole room this Microwave was housed in would have been engulfed in flames.

I’ve had a large Panasonic microwave for about 15 years, but the time had come to replace it, so I checked out the Panasonic range and found this little beauty. I didn’t need a large one anymore so opted for this one. To be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be brilliant for the price, but it truly is. I’m really happy I chose this one and would certainly recommend it to anyone else looking for a small microwave. It takes a full size dinner plate perfectly and everything I use a microwave for can easily be done in this little one.

This microwave is much smaller than the last standalone unit I owned, but big enough to take a 10.5″ plate without tilting, with more room inside once past the door frame. Other reviewers commented about the smart looks and I wondered how anyone could get excited by a microwave. But I have to say, they’re not wrong. It’s small size and lack of knobs and handles makes it look strangely pleasing – plus it’s so easy to clean. The cooking is much more even than our previous unit, and it cooks faster too, even though our previous unit was 900W. My only tiny gripe is that you can’t just hit ’30 sec’ and expect it to start – you then have to hit ‘go’.

I have had a microwave on my kitchen bench for years but only used a few settings, also it was so large and took up so much space. This Panasonic is brilliant. Neat tidy and powerful. Ideal for a single person..

This is my third version of this model in 16 odd years. I like the digital controls. You can choose an exact timing rather than a guess with the dial control.. It does baked potatoes, defrosting,reheating efficiently which is what I need. Its also quite compact and does not take up a large space. This time I bought the black model which I’m pleased with. It looks nice and sparkling rather than another off white bit of equipment. Only con is to watch for condensation after cooking if food is not covered.

Unlike previous microwave ovens, does pasta wonderfully well. Baked potatos, too. Panasonic has been my go to brand since the 1960s, when it was National Panasonic.

Needed a replacement microwave and didn’t want anything too big.
This is perfect. Has all the functions that I use, defrost, heat, medium heat etc.
It’s just what we needed and easy to use.
Am very happy with this microwave and it arrived within the delivery time given.

Having owned several larger stainless steel Panasonic microwaves for quite some years I had no qualms in purchasing this dinky version for our 7 months living in a caravan. We had a smaller pre-formed opening in a cabinet for a microwave and this preferred make also fitted. The microwave is clearly limited in size, but would be ideal for a single user or occasional use if not for a large family; you need to check if certain items of cookware you intend to use will fit in the small cavity. It will take a standard dinner plate on the turntable and a reasonable size cooking bowl e.g. for porridge. Touch keys allow selection of each cooking mode but there is no indication of the mode when you are actually cooking. Otherwise great so far.

I am very happy with this product. It is used most days for making porridge. Other ways it is used is for defrosting, reheating and when we have ready meals. when doing ready meals I like that you can set the standing time with the timer. I did have a Panasonic before and was happy with it. The dimensions of this suits me too, as the top it is on is not the normal counter top size.

Best microwave I have purchased. Controls logical and easy to use and aesthetically pleasing.
