Have owned a couple of these. They work well and are pretty easy to fit, but you need to be mildly handy with a screwdriver. Last one lasted 5 years, and the other one before it. After 5 years the plastic becomes slightly brittle due to British cold weather and an angry cat cracked it by charging at it! For the price though, it’s a no brainer. Thumbs up! 🙂
Got a different brand flap from a well known high street pet supplier and took it it back as it was as much use as a chocolate teapot.
These flaps are good although the weather seal isn’t particularly effective; I needed it in a hurry as cats wrecked the old one and it was delivered next day and still a tenner cheaper than the one I bought from shop…
Replaced one we bought five years ago that survived our dog running at full pelt into the door when it was locked. Though cracked it continued to function well for approx 18months when the crack gave way completely. Wanted the same again to minimise the wear on the door panel.
Bought this as a replacement for a very old version that had cracked. Good locking mechanism and easy to install into the existing hole in the door. Cat finds it easy to use.

Purchased as a replacement as previous one broke despite being less than 12 months old. Cheaper to replace than purchase just the flap. Reason for breakage – cat determined to get out so forced it whilst locked!
Bad points
No cutting template provided. Not an issue for me as it was a like for like replacement, but the previous one did have a paper template which is important when cutting a hole in your door.
Questionable lock security given a cat could break through it. Failure point was the hinge, not the lock.
Draft excluder attracts fur and needs regular cleaning, otherwise the flap stays open.

Good size cat flap for big furries. Have it for access from the conservatory to the kitchen, looks great on the glass as it’s clear(ish). Lock works fine, as do the magnet and seals to stop draughts if its installed properly. 2nd one as the monster cat eventually destroyed the first one by snapping the bottom section off, though it did last about 7 years! I’m not sure I’d want to use it as an external catflap, it seems a bit too fragile for the elements (and we have a microchip one for outside). It’s a bit of a pain to install…. you need to be very careful how tight each screw is… too loose and it will slide around the hole, too tight and it will warp the frame and won’t swing or close properly.
When we moved house, I bought another one as I was so pleased with the first. I foster dogs and they’ve all picked up how to use it within minutes.
In the first house, it was installed into a upvc triple glazed security glass door. In the second house, it was stored into a upvc door panel. No problems with either.
Needed to replace existing cat flap which a cat damaged trying to get in when it was closed. Had trouble finding one the right size. Delighted to find one that fitted exactly.
I bought this for my cat to use. It is all good quality but will say the door itself does not always close tightly.

Got this to replace my broken cat flap works great and he happily uses it so he just approve of the new cat flap tho he still prefers to moan till we open the door but good for when we out so we know he can get in and out if needed
This is a replacement for one of the same cat flaps that we had had for many years. The old one was broken by something other than our cats (we think perhaps a fox!), tried to get in through it. The previous one had lasted a long time and I’ve no doubt that this one will too.
Looks great on our new clear glass back door. Easily installed. Basically the same as all pet safe stuff we’ve used in the past. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Ps if you have a large and determined cat, the lock will not hold them. Ours have busted the doors, locks and even gone running down the garden wearing the whole thing like a collar before. If you need to properly lock them in, go sturdy.

it took me 2 days to get it fit to a replacement hole (to be fair, the hole had to be slightly enlarged even same make and model after 10 years. things might have changed a little. ) not sure how easy it would be if you install it for the first time. it does look good (apart from the gaps feature from the top view that the older model seem do not have)
Bought as replacement for one that got broke by our german shepherd dog who had delusions of grandure thinking they could get through it. Easy to fit locks both ways.

Looks like it suits the pvc door it fitted into and our small dog finds it easy to use. It’s our second purchase due to dog head butting it whilst in locked position and breaking the flap… Ouch to dog and no to expensive to replace
This is a good dog door. But it was a bit of a nightmare to install by myself. It really needs two people just to keep it in place while screwing in. I have been using pet safe doors for many years. Good products.
Our cat is… big. Not obese, he’s just a very well built cat. Other catflaps we’ve tried have either been either too small to use, poorly shaped, or too flimsy to handle him forcing his way through. This has ticked all of the boxes and he no longer howls to be let out unless we lock him in, where to his disgust he can’t break out.
Instructions are cr@p. Thank God for my mom who has always had cats and cat flaps but even she struggled.

den Schrauben doch sehr knapp aussah.
Die Gre der Klappe ist auch fr mollige Katzen geeignet, unser Kater mit fast 7kg nutzt die Klappe mehrmals tglich und ohne Probleme.

Fitting was a bit more difficult than the first one, because this one was in situ. Definitely need to use the little sleeves, impossible without. Just take your time and allow 30 minutes, you end up with a really good cat flap.
Great cat flap once it’s in the door! However as a single mum installing this as a replacement for my old one which i thought would be a simple job was a 5 hour nightmare! Cutting plastic to the instructions that still didn’t fit. And having to trim the screws to fit!?!? (Near on impossible without having to ask around for help). A real pain to install but as I say, the finished product is very good.
A cat flap is a game changer! No more litter box and so much easier when they can come and go as they please. Cats are independent and this suits them just fine! Good price, quick delivery!

If only the door was completely transparent like the middle bit it would have been perfect.
I do not like the frosted look and my cat either. A bit of fiddly job to fit the flap on your own but I did it in the end after 30 minutes. I always buy this design and will do so as long as it is available. My old one lasted me 7 years so you see a good product!
This is a good sturdy cat/dog flap. My Westie fly’s through it with no problem. I have recommended this to friends that have cats and/or small dogs. It did take me a little time to install.
We had this flap already and had purchased it from a pet store. Unfortunately, over time and due to us humans the plastic flap had snapped because we took the magnet off when we got a new puppy. Now that puppy is 5 we thought we had best replace the flap. Unable to buy in a store so took to amazon! highly recommend this pet flap.

My ninja cats have worked out how to get out when it’s set to in only, but they do this on all makes. They have smashed through three cat flaps already but this one seems to be staying the distance
Good quality and easy to fit. Have had fighting cats leave by the door even though it’s locked. I’m on my 3rd door. Would be better if the door was perhaps metal??
Does exactly what’s needed and although a little wary about cutting a hole in the door at first the template provided is a great help.
These are great, exactly as advertised and larger than a lot of the other more expensive alternatives. Easy to install with a little DIY and comes with adjustable parts to fit different thicknesses of doors. Recommended.
Had to send back as didn’t fit my door but was packaged well and appears sturdy and well made.
Excellent product had the same model for about 4 years no problems, new one went straight in without any trouble.
The brushes prevent the door closing properly, can’t adjust so dint know if I’m just unlucky or not. Professional glazier fitted in new glass door.
We bought two of these for the cat and they work great! Super easy to install and now even my two little dogs (shih Tzu and terrier) use them. Really sturdy and the lock features is great when you need to keep them in. The door handles heavy paws really well and it stays closed even when windy. Love it and would recommend!
Fairly easy to fit, cats never used one before but found it easy
Bought this cat flap for our large Bengal cat, who has never before used a cat flap. It’s still ‘early days’ but so far, so good! We have initially temporarily removed the see through flap, for him to get accustomed to the actual concept of access etc., fortunately this has been ideal due to the time of year! Perhaps not a great option if bought in the colder Winter months! We have now left the flap off for a week and will now fix back on for him to get accustomed to gaining access with it back in place. Would definitely recommend, especially as this particular cat flap has several options to lock/unlock etc and is perfect for a large cat too.

Identical fittings and dimensions to similar Petsafe door purchased a few years ago. The door flap had gone brittle and cracked. Replacement of the complete door and flap was a 10 minute job.

Great cat flap, lock works well, my cats come and go with ease. One word of warning though – my staffy has discovered she can also fit through somehow!
I installed two of these with easy modifications (took out the tunnel spacer), in plywood walls of two rabbit hutches. My medium-sized rabbits can now nap all day in their cosy draught-proof home and love popping through the flap to their run whenever they wish.
A good product with easy instructions and a template for cutting the hole.

Not allowed by council to have cat flap in front door. New ones. Or to make holes in wall. Only place for it is a panel under living room window. Draft excluder does not stop draft. Thats why only 4 stars. Otherwise good value for money.
This is a replacement of the same product fitted 9 years ago – works well.
Had to get the full glass panel replaced with a hole for the cat flap cut out but it fits perfectly for a sliding door.
Found item had changed slightly from original identical product so required some modification with original part.
Had to replace my cat flap a couple of times (my cats have actually broken out of the door more than once) however it’s a great flap and really easy to install. And a far better price here than in the pet shop!

Super Qualitt leicht zum montieren, unsere katze brauchte ein paar Tage bis sie herausfand wie die klappe funktioniert, da sie etwas schwer geht, aber sonst wrde sie bei jedem wind aufgehen auf jeden fall wrde ich sie wieder kaufen.

Es muy practica al tener el cierre con iman. De esa manera esta siempre que quieras cerrada y no deja pasar el frio. Tiene varias combnaciones de apertura lo que tambie esta bien. El acabado es bueno y las instrucciones de montaje muy precisas.
I bought two flaps because I decided to make a tunnel through my double brick wall – not a job for the faint-hearted; with the benefit of hindsight I should have paid a builder to do this, but I got there in the end 😉 I cut a box shape through the wall, then made a box out of marine plywood to line it. The cat flaps fix securely to the plywood at both ends. See attached photo to see what I mean.
The flap measures 20cm high by 18cm wide, so should also be fine for small terriers like Jack Russells or Cairns unless they’re a bit on the portly side…
Due to our cat breaking the door pour original cat flap we have had to invest in another one. Give that we have already owned this model, we knew we couldn’t go wrong in getting another. A good flap with various settings for allowing the cat entry and exit into the house.

Die Bedienungsanleitung fr den Einbau der Katzenklappe war sehr bersichtlich und auch fr Laien verstndlich.
Als Tischler kann ich keine Auskunft ber den Einbau geben – fr mich waren es insgesamt 15 Minuten. Der Einbau der Klappe (Wohnungseingangstr) war einfach, eine 2-te Person jedoch als “Hilfskraft” erleichtert die Arbeit beim Verschrauben der Teile.
Die Verarbeitung der Klappe ist sehr gut, die Teile sind stabil und haben keine scharfen Kanten.
Die Klappe funktioniert ohne Mngel und Einschrnkungen.
Sehr gut ist die Einbaumglichkeit in unterschiedlichen Trdicken und sogar in Glastren mglich.
Schon am ersten Tag hat unsere Katze neugierig die Klappe begutachtet – aber sie ist noch vorsichtig mit dem “neuen Teil” – wir ben

Much improved over the previous version. Fitted in a bottom solid panel in about 30 mins. The cutting pattern is a bit more complicated than you might expect so drill holes all along the outline rather than just in the places indicated. A fret saw will then make short work of the cutting. I would avoid a jigsaw as it has a tendency to catch in plastic unless you are very careful.
Our second one of these and we have been very pleased with both!
Fits the size of a jack Russell dog with ease, no bigger though. Fitted well, instruction were good and well written and was easy to cut out. Only thing is that the little swing plastic flap sometimes get stuck open letting in the cold ai
This is a good cat flap, bought as a replacement for a similar model which was old. It works well and my only quibble is with the fitting, which my partner and I found a little tricky. (However we are not black belts in DIY!)
The cat and dog both give it a thumbs up. Our dog broke the last pet door (same make) which we super glued together several times before replacing it. However our Jack Russell takes a big run up and leaps through the flap which makes for quite an impact. This has dire consequences when we’ve locked the flap 🙂 The new door flap has lasted well but we have some super glue on hand just in case.
Thus was a replacement for the cat flap we had. It was installed in less than hour and that including removing once to put in the tunnel extension. Very pleased with the purchase.
Fits for my main coon cat and out shihtzu puppy
Had this fitted into a double glazed patio door. Its working fine – doesn’t seem to be much of a draft and is ideal for my slightly overweight cat!

Straightforward to install, not as rigid as others we’ve used so the flap tends to stick a bit, i.e. it stay open when used rather than falling closed again but looks neat and does the job. If you pay more you will get better quality. We bought this as a temporary measure until we change the door.
Huge cat flap that would have been awesome for the fat moggy, however the item needs such a big hole on the glass the window company wouldn’t make the size with the hole.

Bought this to replace a Petsafe 200 cat flap as it was cheaper than the replacement flaps, we seem to go through a flap every couple of years, once fitted it is good but it was not as simple as popping the old one out and the new one in its place as the hole in the door seemed to be a different size, so it had to be enlarged to meet the template suppled, we tried to fit it in the old hole but the flap swas stiff and jamme half open, seems as good as its predecessor, with the plus of the draft excluder for winter and a stronger magnet. Took off one star for the effort to install this, definately a two person job even if popping the old one out and then hopefully sliding this one in.
The real test will come in the winter when the weather turns bad as the door faces West and the old pet door used to blow open and allow water into the house. I don’t think this will happen with the new UPC door and PetSafe door but I’ll update this if it lets us down!
These are just pervect. Good, that version two added dust protection around the edges since it makes it very quiet. Since I use id for the inside door, I removed the magnet plate, so it does not make a sound when moving.
The only thing that bothers me is that inside part is transparent. It should be white or any other color. Now with transparent, inside of the door can be seen.
Also there is a bit of work to do, when try to build it in. I am handyman, know how to do things, but it took me 3 hours to finish it.
Otherwise, I am satisfied with it.
The flap works very well. It is of a nice quality and robust enough for my big cat.

Produit largement assez grand pour mon chat de 7kg et l’autre de 5kg.Ils vont et viennent comme ils veulent , bien qu’il a fallu un peu plus d’entranement les deux premiers jours.
Par contre, j’ai t l’aimant ! Aimant bien pratique car elle reste ferme en cas de prise d’air seulement les chats ont tendance ne pas trop insister…
