Very pleased with this. It is a replacement for our previous airfryer. Happy to recommend and would buy again.

Friends had told me about how much they loved this new device called a “hot air fryer”. I had never heard of them but decided to try one on spec. I opted for this model because it got excellent review, was very reasonably priced, and looked simple-yet-stylish.

This Phillips fryer has fulfilled every hope that I had for it. Now ‘proper’ fresh chips have become a regular part of my diet. They are not only much cheaper than buying from a chippie, but the chips are also so much healthier to eat. The frying process only needs a tablespoon of olive oil – so my intake of superheated animal fats is now vastly reduced, while still allowing me to regularly enjoy the wonderful taste of authentic freshly made chips.

Bought this for my partner as I already have one myself. She was a bit unsure if she would use it much to start with but now uses it every day when cooking.

This is the very first air fryer that doesn’t have a plastic smell. It came very well packaged and nothing was broken. It even came with a little instruction on how to cook a few things. It works very well too; the temperature rises very fast and cooks whatever I put in it fast. I would definitely recommend this for those who doesn’t have an oven or as a present for this Christmas season.

    Nice

This is the second model of this air-fryer I have had. The first one lasted six years of daily use which I think is pretty good. I like this model so much that, despite there being an updated electronic model, I have chosen to stay with this model. Very easy to use and great results. Perfect if you live alone and probably OK if there is two of you.

Even air fryers costing 50-60 have electronic controls. I thought I was buying one like my friend’s with a digital display, but this is far less precise. Also it doesn’t seem to cook for the last 3 minutes, and never has. Apart from that, it’s great. But I won’t get the same one again when this one dies.

So brought this after my old Tefal one broke in under a year (middle paddle broke whilst washing it). And after a year of using this one I can definitely say this one is better for being healthier than the Tefal one due to food not sitting in oil whilst cooking and its way more robust still works fine nothing broken after a good year of daily use sounds great right?…. Well it has a couple of flaws first one the button that releases the wire basket can get stuck at times which can be annoying it does release eventually and sometimes straight away just can be fiddly. Secondly and most importantly the plug socket and lead are beyond the most annoying thing of all time it feeds back into the unit sounds great for storage in theory but in practice it doesn’t go back in unless you dedicate around 10 mins and your sanity to getting it in there. If this doesn’t bother you get this it’s awesome at cooking unhealthy things a little more healthy but be warned the lead will irritate you after a while.

Bought this product in 2016 and after 5 years, I can claim that the product has been working absolutely fine without any issues. The only hassle is to clean the trays inside, else worth buying Philips products.

This is our 2nd Philips air fryer, and no, the other one didn’t break. It was used approximately 10-15 times a week for 2 and a half years, trouble free, cooking all kinds of everything. But there were signs of wear and tear, and I worried that if it broke, I’d have no immediate replacement. I think that anyone that does use an air fryer regularly regards it an essential kitchen appliance, it just takes over so many jobs that the conventional oven does.
So, knowing how I would need an immediate replacement, and knowing that the Philips had run hitch-free for so long, I just knew it would be another I’d be buying. To be fair, I hadn’t tried any other brand, but figured I didn’t really need to, given the record I had with it. So saw the HD9220/20 for sale at a very reasonable price and jumped on it. The bottom line – I just stuck with what I knew!
Have it a couple of months now, and running just like the other one. Very simple to operate, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. My wife is somewhat the technophobe, so this just has 2 knobs/dials – one for the temperature, and one for the duration. Simple! Cook home made or frozen chips, burgers, sausages, waffles, fish/chicken, cheese on toast! It’s a mini oven that will cook pretty much anything that you can fit.
I do have 2 notes of caution.
    1) If you cook fatty food, there may be some fumes emanating from the outlet at the back of the appliance. This is not nice, and a room can be fumey quite quickly. So beware high fat content, or use in a well aerated area.
    2) Clean it as advised. Look after it, it will look after you. Don’t use harsh detergent or rough sponges, let it cool before you clean. Treat the surface as you would a frying pan surface that you wish to keep non-stick.
So I guess you’re now wondering where I put the old, retired model..? It is neatly packed away in the attic, and is back up to the HD9220/20. Just in case… They don’t last forever, do they…?

Cooks like a mini oven so quickly. We use it mainly for oven chips and is ideal when you’re pushed for time. You can also buy replacement parts which is great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this almost 6 years ago back in August 2015 because my main oven broke.
I was so impressed by this device that I never actually bought a new oven as I live alone and this Airfryer did an amazing job on it’s own, in fact it did an amazing job right up until a few days ago when it finally died from being used every. single. day. since I bought it.

There are of course some pros and cons and I’ll go over them quickly now.

First of all, it’s very quick at cooking, most things you cook in a real oven can be cooked in half the time with this airfryer and the food always comes out very hot, crispy and not soggy at all. The only foods that take longer are baked potatoes and other similarly dense foods but even then it’s still quicker than a real oven.

As you may have noticed people saying, this is not like a deep fryer and that the foods don’t taste deep fried… well that’s kind of true and false. Its similar to a deep fryer in the sense that it has a basket instead of a tray but if you’re cooking breaded/battered foods there’s usually enough oil in the food to give it the same kind of effect you get from deep frying, sometimes the oil taste is there too but that depends on the food.

It’s quite difficult to clean, I feel like it wasn’t made to be cleaned in the way you’d expect.
The basket and the part the basket sits in are both easily cleaned…but the main unit itself is a massive pain, it’s impossible to clean around the element and the fan without disassembling the entire unit.
It also tends to give off quite a lot of smoke when you cook things like fish as the oil spits up at the element.

Both of those negatives can be remedied with the ‘splatter-proof lid’ and the ‘fat reducer’ accessories, neither of which are included with the device but in my opinion are imperative if you want to keep this airfryer clean.

All that aside though, it’s an incredible device, I’d have bought another to replace my one but airfryers have improved since 2015. Please do not let that dissuade you, this is an amazing device, especially if you live alone, but please consider buying the accessories or you’re gonna face the same issues I did.

I highly recommend this airfyer, it did an amazing job for almost 6 long years.
    Hope this review was helpful!

This is my second Phillips air fryer and got to say, yes it does the same job but the quality of the unit is not the same at all. My other one had weight to it and felt solid this one is very light and tinny. Anyway it does the job so good I suppose.

This is the second Phillips air fryer I’ve bought, I got about 4 years out of the first one and I use it regularly so that wasn’t too bad. Very good machine that’s easy to use. The basket etc is easily cleaned but the internals of the machine can be more difficult. That being said it does take a long time before there is any build up of grease etc. Would recommend this machine, I know there are more expensive electronic versions but I like this one. Word of warming – Do Not turn the timer control knob anti clockwise to turn the timer off when finished, it will break. Simply turn the power off and let the timer run down naturally

So having sat on the fence about air fryers for ages I thought “lockdown blues & buy now is probably a bad combination but why not, let’s see what the fuss is about!” …

Hands down the best thing I bought last year! (& I spend a fair bit on tech n gadgets) .. food comes out incredibly tasty, full of flavour and actually pretty healthy all things considered.. (hey we’re frying… with air!)

Few tips.. you don’t normally need to add extra oil… if you’re cooking chicken/fish/lamb etc the natural oils are normally more than enough… with chicken, keep an eye on it, it’ll take a lil while then go from “crispy perfection” to “oh wow carbonated” in about a minute 🙂 .. potatoes / chips need a dash of extra oil, only a few drops.. & if you like them a lil soft in the middle just nuke em for a minute or two beforehand.. also.. clean it out regularly! It’s not pretty but a good soak & wipe down will stop the insane levels of smoke you can get if you keep reusing it..

A good part of my sanity and waistline has stayed in good check during the lockdown thanks to this bad boy!

Still trying out various recipes and techniques.. however I found the Phillips recipes/ hints app very useful as I’m still learning.

I can definitely recommend this piece of kitchen equipment.. it’s saving me a lot of time as it heats up more quickly than my gas oven and I like that you don’t have to use much oil and still manage to get a nice crispy texture to your food. I haven’t tried to bake in it yet.. however that’s for the next time..

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis a plain version of one of the first Philips air fryer models. We’ have had it for quite a few years. And it works very well. There is not much functionality to this fryer nor are there programming modes. But I’ve found that we don’t use those at all with a more sophisticated fryer we have at our second home. We just fry chips and snacks. And if you stick to the timer, open up a few times during the process to hustle everything up, you get delicious results. It fries our fries and snacks in a convenient, less smelly and more healthy manner – compared to oil based frying.

It comes with a timer on top and a heat indicator light. The electric cord can be rolled up inside on the back. Importantly, the tray can be partly disassembled and put in the dishwasher. The only thing is that the fan-shaped bottom of the outer tray will collect fat and crumbs and is hard to clean if you don’t do it frequently.

    Reliability for a good price.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI purchased this product on a special deal for Amazon Prime Members only and received it next day. I have thus far cooked my own fresh chips, onion rings and garlic mushrooms and it’s brilliant, they are not greasy at all. Simply cut your chips and soak for 30 minutes, dry off and put in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil pop in the AirFryer and within 20-25 minutes you have perfect chips. So far I have only used four times but it does fish, fish fingers, fish cakes, meatballs and most foods you can cook in a conventional oven.

It’s very attractive on the worktop and the quality outweighs the price.

Definitely a bargain buy and the calories are a lot fwer than other methods of cooking.

It’s easy to clean and comes with recepie book for various meals and also a card on how to prepare the best thin chips to wedges.

I can’t wait to try other methods than chips, garlic mushrooms and onion rings but believe me they are browned nice, crisp and a low calorie alternative.

I would recommend 100% and I am sure you will be delighted.

Best thing I bought for my kitchen. I can’t be without it now. Heats up instantly. Its enough for one though and it’s a bit heavy to carry if you keep relocating. Its pretty handy and doesn’t creat much noise. I cant hear it behind a closed door. The cleaning is easy but the tray you need to clean is a a bit heavy I guess its made of heavy materail for quality. It’s known for making good fries, but the chicken breats come out reallllyy Juicey and Tender! Over it’s worth the effort, I dont have to heat the oven any more and whatever I cook, doesn’t get cooked in fat (healthy) !!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHad since December

Amazing – only word needed really

Heats, cooks, bakes everything I want in less than half the time my oven takes. Chips come out a lot better than oven, not as crispy as oil but that’s the trade of for healthier eating. Chicken wings perfect, I have even been shown how to do a full stack of pancakes with some baking paper.

Easy enough to clean, only niggling issue would be that the tray mesh bottom edge [where it meets the container] gathers the residue and needs persistence or a small non metal brush to get it 100 % clean. But that’s really the only minus point in the grand scheme of how great I think this is. The base feels solid, the handle is secure but easy to clip out of the base and the draining section for fat and oil has these ridges and [I think a coating] I can wipe the dry fat and oil up with a dry cloth if I wanted to, nothing seems to stick to it.

Some are currently saying Air frying isn’t actually as healthy as we think that’s not true. If you stick rubbish into the air fryer then your still eating unhealthy food. The air fryer reduces / eliminates the need for additional oil when cooking.

Excellent little machine, cooks fries and chicken wings really well and they taste fantastic. One minor drawback though:, if you are wanting to feed more than one person, there isn’t a lot of room for large amounts of food at one time and overcrowding can lead to uneven results, so may be best to buy a larger unit if cooking for a large family.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersAfter 18 months my Tefal actifry died but as I had bought insurance (reviews advised this as it is so unreliable) I went for the Philips machine as a replacement. I like the manual dials as they are faster and easier to use. I also like that it is a lot quieter than the actifry and is better built, and that the important bits are dishwasher proof. If the mesh gets gunged then just let it sit in the tray in hot soapy water for a while. I also bought the grill pan (which I expected to be gold plated for the price) and that has turned out to be very useful indeed. The machine cooks food very well and very quickly and is almost worth having just for the crispy way it cooks frozen chips, much better than the actifry that seemed to make chip mash more often than not. Okay, you must shake the pan 2 or 3 times during cooking but I check cooking food regularly anyway so it’s just like shaking a frying pan to me. All in all and so far I’m very happy and thinking about getting another Philips machine to replace my halogen oven!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFor anyone who likes to feed their kids on nuggets, fish fingers, and oven chips occasionally this is revolutionary. So easy to use, all food is cooked to perfection, in minutes, so superior to the results of cooking such items in an oven. We’ve tried a variety of foods in it. Bacon & sausages work really well, jacket potatoes, pieces of chicken etc. If you have a large family you would need to cook in portions & keep it warm, but it is ideal for a small family. The timer means you can’t burn anything as it just turns off. My older teenage son has used it constantly recreating fast food delights for his friends with no mess. I’ve never used a fryer before as I didn’t like the idea of all the fat, but with this you get perfect crispy food with no additional fat required. This is one kitchen gadget that has stayed out on the worktop since I bought it 5 months ago. They do produce a lot of steam from the back so be careful where you position it.

Like a cheaper to run faster baby oven. Use to cook single slices of frozen pizza, frozen chips, kale crisps and roast peanuts (I use some chip net to stop it catching on the element) any burgers and sausages (put an ovenproof saucer over the sausies when they start to spit of you’ll set off your smoke alarms!) Awesome thing, and can buy extras online to be able to cook cakes and other stuff. AND it’s dishwasher proof… well the basket and drawer at least. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI thought I would only use the air fryer for chips but I’m using it regularly for lamb chops, chicken nuggets, chicken drum sticks, fish fingers, meat balls and of course chips/fries and they have all turned out very well. The food is cooked very fast is nice and crispy on the outside.

It’s simple to use. There are only 2 dials for the controls: one for the cooking temperature and the other is the timer. I would have thought there would be an on/off switch, but found the timer dial is the only way to turn it on or off (turn time to zero for off), but it wasn’t a problem in the end.

Only down side is that it rather too bulky to leave out if you have a small workspace in your kitchen. Also the basket for cooking is quite small.

This is a great quality fryer and does the job well however it loses a star for its sizes vs its capacity. It’s a pretty sizeable piece of equipment which needs quite a bit of space on the counter but in comparison the basket for cooking is very small. It’s impossible to cook a meal for two on a single layer. If you do a double layer then the cooking is uneven and not crispy.
I’ve found this with chips depite shaking during cooking and with chicken wings too.
There’s no way you could cook two pieces of fish and chips for two. You’d need to cook the fish first and then the chips which is not ideal.
However if I am doing a meal for one, I can’t fault this at all, really great fryer and heats up quickly and cooks beautifully and much better than the oven!

Golden Review Award: 82 From Our UsersWhen you buy the Air Fryer what you get is basically a chip fryer with a good deep basket. I have to say that it does chips very well, especially frozen ones, and also very good roast potatoes. but it is rather limited as to what you can cook in it. To do much else you need accessories like the grill pan, which is very good but hellish expensive, which I have used to cook chops and sausages. It also needs a baking tin, which I have not yet bought. The items I have cooked in it so far have turned out very well and I am sure that when I buy the baking tin I will make better use of it.

Best thing I’ve bought for the kitchen since my slo-cooker. It’s so versatile and has mostly replaced grill, oven and frying pan. Just experiment and you’ll be surprised what it can do. Very little smell, perfect chips within minutes if you choose frozen fries, great steaks, chops, bacon and roast potatoes. All this with next to no washing up. What is there not to like. I use it most days and wish they’d been around years ago. I bought one for my vegetarian daughter and she loves it.

Really happy with this – chips are super easy and great tasting, fried chicken is a new family favorite. Hamburgers are also fab and taste much better than fried. Very happy with the purchase. Only downside is the volume is a bit small for family of 4, but then again I don’t want a larger machine as the current size is easy to store.

    My husband cook wonderful chips
But since then. We have been very disappointed
We blamed the potatoes We’ve tried every potato
So we have resorted back to our deep fat fryer. I must say we had home made cod and chip last week they were delicious

I’m glad it was on sale when I bought it as no way would I pay full price it’s not worth it. Also I have arthritis in my hands and shoulders so I find the basket quite heavy. You can’t put a lot in the basket cos you have to keep taking it out and shaking it around to cook evenly.

I actually got a diferent model, the seller resolve the problem with partial refund. The one I got is beautiful, really useful and I love it! It works so well, everything is done so nicely, fries are delicious and with no more than 1tbsp of oil! This is the model that I got HD9621

If your looking for an air fryer, look no further. This is brilliant. Most appropriate for portions for 3 people chips wise. Really simply to use heat it up for five minutes and put your food in and let it do it’s thing. I hardly ever use an oven any more and I did a fillet steak recently, which was lovely not as drying as with grilling for anyone wanting to eat healthy. I was sceptical that this would become another gadget ornament that I would never use, but honestly it’s always in use!!! Love this produc

Golden Review Award: 188 From Our UsersI bought this almost two years ago and after recently convincing my parents to purchase one I decided to leave a review. I originally bought it just to cook oven chips as my gas oven is so slow. It does so much more than that though and I’d be lost without it. It will cook almost anything and so much quicker than using a convential oven. It’s great for roasting veg or potatoes, and cooks stuff really well. If I want baked potatoes then I give them ten minutes in the microwave, coat them in olive oil and 20 minutes in the air fryer and they are beautiful and crispy. It must be saving money because you’re heating a small appliance rather than a full size oven. It’s very easy to clean too. If it broke I’d rush out and buy another!

Saves time and energy, cooks well

This is perfect for my teenage son to cook his meals. Was a great price looks good in the kitchen and a must have item I didn’t realise how much I would use. Not a waste of money gadget to sit ideal it’s used virtual every day at mealtimes. A must have in any kitchen I won’t be without one from now on. Easy to use and cooks well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usershe gas oven has had limited use since this arrived. Easy to use, easy to clean and a compact addition that sits next to my microwave. For those who have never used one, the best advice I can give is to ensure you give the airfryer a few minutes of warming up time before cooking anything – just like you would a normal oven… I normally give it 3 mins on full power before I use it to cook.

Golden Review Award: 47 From Our UsersSimply one of the best things I’ve ever bought. Has completely changed the game in the kitchen. I haven’t turned on the oven once since I bought it. The only caution I would give is that the capacity is not big. It’s perfect for cooking dinner for one. You could probably fit enough for two people but that’s the limit.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve gone through two of these and my main complaint is that the mesh basket is VERY hard to clean. You really need to do it every time you use it. Being a lazy so-and-so I let it go three or four times and thus get a build up which I can’t shift. Apart from that I love it and wouldn’t be without it.

I’ve had mine for some time now and would not be with out it, but it is best for one or two persons. tip for chips, in a suitable bowl place the chips prior to cooking, poor over a little oil, rape seed oil is best, then stir the chips to fully coat and than put into fryer, this will give a better looking chip with no uncoated dry cooked areas.
Can also be used as a mini oven for small portion cooking like pies and cakes plus casseroles in small dishes, not very good for turkeys though LOL.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our Userssimply the best way to make chips ever, we had to replace our first one as it developed a big crack and wouldn’t cook , this is just the right size for our little kitchen and with a little practise chips, roasties, and many other bits can be turned out, jackets spuds are a favourite of mine , just keep the basket clear of bits and don`t use foods that have a coating on them as I nearly set fire to our last one when it tried to cook some Mc cain crispy fries and set the ADT smoke detector off , ooooooooooooooops !!!!!

Golden Review Award: 53 From Our UsersThis is a very good air fryer. I had been using air fryer for a number of years now and had previously brought them from a popular TV shopping channel which was good but the cleaning was a nightmare but this one the cleaning was simple. I just wipe it with tissue or cloth to get rid of the oil left after use. I got it from recommendation of a work colleague.

I fry all all my chips, make toast, heat up sandwich, cook chicken, pork chops and make pies etc all turn out very quick and less fuss than using the big oven which I have to say I no longer use.

I would recommend this for a single person or old people when you still want to cook but does not want the fuss with all these washing up or cleaning the big oven afterwards.

I found this one a lot better quality than the one I had brought inthetv channel but found the basket a bit difficult to clean. If this can be improved using the same none stick as the pot with holes to let air in when cooking then it will be prefect. I notice there is a frying basket you can buy separately but for the price it is half of this fryer so I had give it a missed.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI’m 100% sold on the air fryer concept. This gadget is so easy and convenient to use. I feel like some onion rings. BAM! Ready in 10 mins. I can’t be bothered to cook tonight. Stick in a chicken breast in the air fryer and some frozen veggies in the microwave. BAM! A healthy dinner in 10 mins. Like the microwave, its an instant on set it and forget it device. Its so much quicker and easier than warming up a huge oven and food develops a crisp skin far more easily.

This would be a 5 star device if the internal basket was non stick. As a wire mesh I find food gets welded on requiring overnight soaking to remove. Fish skin is the worst. That has to be burnt off (10mins with no food at a hot setting in the air fryer) as no amount of soaking or scrubbing will remove it from the mesh. My next air fryer will definitely have a non stick basket.

Also this isn’t great with burgers or sausages as thick smoke starts to come out after they start cooking. Its totally fine with proper bits of meat.

This is the best thing I have ever bought in years!!! It is a incredible bit of kit, so much so, I have bought one for my daughter, son and mother in law, and they think it’s brilliant, this product is efficient, cooks food in a third of the time faster than conventional ovens, also cheap to run compared to conventional oven, I use it every day cooking roast potatoes, chicken, pork, pasties, toasted sandwiches, sasuges, bacon, brilliant product, highly recommend this brand

We really like this and use it a lot for fake KFC, sausages, bacon, hash browns, fish cakes, pakoras etc. Originally bought it to engage our teenage son with cooking and show him how easy it is to do a meal. The coating on the base pan is a little prone to scratching, but no matter as no food comes into contact with it. Does not produce the typical fry related smells either.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersNot much to add to the thousands of other reviews, other than to share my satisfaction really.

I believe that once you’ve tried the Philips airfryer, you won’t go back to the hob, oven or grill for *most* smaller things, but you’ve got to pick your foodstuffs. I’ve had fabulous success with chips (obviously), chicken, burgers, fish (battered and uncoated), pork belly (small joint), sausages and even homemade sausage rolls (i.e. sausage meat wrapped in puff pastry)!

I cannot stress how much I also recommend buying the ridiculously overpriced “Philips HD9910/20 — Accessory for Airfryer Grill Pan Non Stick — Black” (ASIN: B00GP2YWDI). I use the non stick pan much more than the basket that comes with the airfyer and it’s a breeze to clean.

I should add that I previously had an early model of the Tefal Actifry and the Philips is much better. Yes, you generally have to manually shake the basket halfway through cooking, but I found the Actifry pulverised some foods as its paddle constantly rotated.

Edit: Since the above was written I’ve used the airfryer for heating up part-baked bread (both rolls and sticks, although you have cut the latter in half to fit), and my new fave was a very quick apple + raspberry crumble, for which you will need a rectangular dish such as the also overpriced and tiny, but fits nicely “Philips Genuine Original Viva Collection Airfryer Baking Accessory” (ASIN: B00BQT5Y0A). I cooked the apple on the hob, then added a tin of raspberries, sprinkled the crumble on top and 20 minutes later…ideal for two or three.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersI chose this airfryer because of its simplicity. It just does the job and nothing spits out of any gaps, unlike some other brands. The food tray has two parts, the outer one you can see and the inner wire basket. The latter clicks into place so that the two can be moved as one. It is very easy to pull the tray half-way out and check on the progress of the cooking. The chips that come out are excellent. And finally, it is extremely easy to clean both parts of the tray with just hot soapy water; there are no difficult to reach areas. Oh, and it’s ideal for cooking Indian snacks like samosas.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent for making chips without oil and also cooks sausages and other things well although does take longer than the specified time. I bought a divider (shame this isn’t included with the package) as it then makes it easy to cook 2 separate things. It is adequate for 2 people but not for a larger family unless you just want chips. Overall I am pleased with it but have not been overly adventurous so far.

This is my second Air Fryer from Philip's my other one has seen better days but it has been used virtually every day for 18 months so well worth the money. When I was looking around for a replacement I checked the supermarkets and the catalogue store and this was 50% cheaper! The seller gave me a delivery date but it arrived 4 days early. Very happy with the product and the seller.

The fryer cooks everything well, ive cooked the usual chips etc but it cooks everything I have thrown at it perfectly. Love it!

Really happy, This is a excellent Air Fryer and I wish I had found it sooner, it Works like a charm, frozen fries come out perfect, even better if you use oven chips which are pre oiled, the chips come out crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. As expected they will not be indenticle to fried chips however there isn’t that much of a difference and this being a healthier option makes it an obvious choice.
It appears to cook everything I throw at it, meats come out really well, for me the best thing bout it is the time it takes it is really fast, as I can have a meal cooked in less than 15 minutes

All in all this is a much healthier option, and you still get a very close taste of a traditional fryer, very easy to use, highly recommend this.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI was dubious about getting an airfryer but was advised this was the best. It is fabulous. I doubted whether you could have a good chip without fat – you can. Fries perfect every time. Ive done sausages, rostis, frozen and fresh chip, wedges and everything has come out great. I would definately recommend. Only slight negative is that it takes about 5 mins longer than stated but that really isnt a problem to get healthier chips. And its so easy to clean! A huge positive.

Where does one begin. We have two toddlers at home. Our son in particular can’t wait any length for food so there’s always a major panic to get dinner ready. I just don’t use the oven ever or if I do I reheat the food for them that I cooked earlier… this does waffles in 10 mins from frozen and into a cold machine at 200 and they’re way nicer… in trying new items all the time and I’d be lost without it. For us the phrase – “The best thing since sliced bread” comes to mind for the air fryer. Cleaning isn’t too bad, depends what you cook so I’ve not had anything too messy in it so far. A1

I’ve had this for about a month and it’s been quite good so far. I have used it to cook chips (frozen and fresh), butternut squash fries, sweet potato fries, sausages and fish cakes so far. It says that it can cook cakes but I haven’t tried that yet.
It cooks food quicker than in the oven and definitely cooks more evenly. I have often cooked without any oil (it suggests you use a tablespoon of oil) and it has been fine.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI adore this Airfryer and no longer deep fry anything. I was a little hesitant as a lot of people say it is just an oven, but I can tell you it makes amazing food that tastes like its deep fried with a fraction of the fat.
I have made roast chicken (cut down as this size will not fit a whole one) and it is succulent with a beautifully crispy skin. Chips, halloumi (placed on grease proof paper for the first few mins), all sorts of mixed veg and my favourite Arancini (a Scicilian rice ball, see photo). If you are interested in making your own, I used an Arancinotto which I purchased from Amazon in Italy, but it is now available on the Amazon U.K. Site, I’m planning on buying the round version next.
