    + glass is sturdy
    + easy to clean
    + good pulse setting
+ smells don’t absorb in the jug

    – Be nice to get some additional cutting parts, even if bought separately (<4)

Robust, powerful, handy and very useful. Only complaint (after returning first one because of misassembly) is that there’s no appreciable difference between II & III speed settings (ie, none).

This blender is really good and does a great job. I do have to hold onto the jug when in use as the vibration moves jug slightly and cuts the motor off. But that’s ok. I have arthritis in my fingers and lid is easy to remove unlike some other models.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTwo sizes in the package is great. Smoothie for your morning trip, got you covered. Making several or a bigger project also got you covered. Simple to use, effective. It’s not quiet and cleaning requires fiddling around with the removable seals. But that’s a minor quibble- it’s an excellent product.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersNice blender but does NOT include the extra bottle for blending smoothies as pictured in 2 images. Spoke to Philips customer support and they confirmed that this model number doesn’t include it so this product has been MISREPRESENTED by the images. The extra bottle costs 20 to buy – which is very expensive considering the cost of the machine. I’m very disappointed in Philips – an otherwise reputable brand.
The blender however is brilliant. Highly recommended. And yes the glass jug is very heavy.

Maybe not a bag thing but the suction of the lid can make it difficult to take off.
Also jug might be a bit heavy for some people

Bough mostly for soup making, as Magic Bullet blender too small. Comes with all you need, easy to operate, and glass rather than plastic jug.

The dial stopped working after 5 months, sent it in to get repaired on the warranty but couldn’t be fixed. Thankfully Amazon gave me a refund. 5 stars for customer service, but sad to see it stop working!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use the blender to make fruit smoothies.
    Pros:
Choice of blending speed depending on fruit etc. to be blended – end result is a very smooth blend.
Glass jug & blade section come apart for easy cleaning.
Motor assembly is mounted in a stable base.
    Cons:
Glass jug is quite heavy (1.9kg) making handling more challenging than expected but with care is superior to plastic.
The blade assembly screws onto the base of the jug and it’s too easy to get the threads crossed so extra effort needed to ensure the assembled jug & blades doesn’t leak.

    Bottom Line:
Nice bit of kit producing good results provided you take care with handling & assembly.

I had a blender with a plastic jug but it cracked when I was washing up. This glass jug is much stronger.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI do like how easy it is to use this blender. It is pretty powerful and I’ve been able to make milkshakes and smoothies easily with no fuss and usually in no time at all. I’m very impressed with the glass jug it makes cleaning this blender much easier and quicker. Although you do have to be careful, with it being glass there is obviously more weight to it. There are suction pads on the base which helps to secure the blender to my countertop which is a handy feature. They do work quite well too.

Overall this a really good blender. It works well every time and gives good results. The capacity is good at 2l and as a family of four you can all get a glass of milkshake or smoothie. I’m happy with it!

I initially purchased 2 mini blenders from another source which were a pointless waste of money. So decided to get a proper blender.

This does exactly what you want and can blend everything you need.

Does what it should and I use it every day.

Great blender. Very sturdy and suction ‘feet’ make it also very sturdy. It’s incredibly easy to use and clean. Blends well. I made a tasty vegetable soup by chopping vegetables and simmering in stock and gravy, then when cooled, put in blender. It came out as a lovely thick soup.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA well-made blender by Philips.
    It is a 3000 series, pro-blend system.

The base remains stable on flat surfaces.
The glass jar is sturdy and has a reasonable weight. It has a 2-litre capacity. But recommended effective capacity is at 1.25-litres.

    Simple and practical design.
It has 2 regular speed settings.
While the Pulse setting can be activated by rotating the controller anti-clockwise. I am using it to make milkshakes and smoothies, and it works great.

Excellent quality blender from a top brand.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIts honestly great, I would recommend it. Simple to use, can take apart in the ways you would need to make cleaning easy. Its worked great so far making smoothies and cocktails. The only issue I have is the bottom part of the jug with the blade can be simply unscrewed off by hand for cleaning but when putting it back on, it never seems aligned properly no matter how much we try. It is aligned almost completely but there’s always a little gap. As long as it’s on tight it seems to be no issue but we once left it on a little loose and it spoiled all out the bottom but that was our fault. I would recommend it, it feels well made and works a trea

Our previous Philips blender carried the Jamie Oliver badge and offered a few more features than this new HR2291/01 pro blend model from the Philips 3000 series. This new for 2022 model is very straightforward to use and features a dishwasher-safe 2 litre glass jar, a 600 Watt motor and 2 regular and pulse speed settings — nothing fancy, but reasonably powerful and effective giving decent results. This model is currently around forty-five pounds from Amazon which is not bad value from a top brand — but there is a lot of competition at this price level so you could get more features from a less well known manufacturer for the same money. If you just need a simple blender for everyday use then this new model by Philips is well worth considering and deserves at least four stars at the price.

I am impressed with this product. My NutriBullet stopped working so i was researching and I am happy I found this one. Compare to my old NutriBullet, it is taking more space as it is bigger, thats only one negative I could find.
I have only been using it for around a week but can say its a great help in a kitchen. I’m more than happy and very pleased. It function very good. Definitely, it worth the price. .

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis blender is perfect for my needs and works very well. I had bought a mini blender as my old 2 litre one wasn’t up to the job at only 250w, the mini one is good, but I was restricted to what I could use it for. Having a 2-litre jug and a 600w base is perfect.
First off it is a glass jug, that is a must for me, plastic gets scratched and is unhygienic as you cannot get the food out of the scratched buts properly. The base is neat, it does not have a large footprint and it looks neat in our kitchen too, all of our countertop appliances are black, so it fits right in.
Using the blender is easy, you have 2 speed settings, I like to start off on the low speed then turn up to high. You also have a pulse setting, that is another must for me as I like ice, plus I blend frozen banana for fake ice cream quite often, it makes short work of that. I have tried fruit and leafy veg and nothing gets stuck. It makes amazing smoothies, and it blends my nettle soup perfectly.
It is easy to wash, you can put the jug in the dishwasher, my dishwasher is 6 foot 3 and answers to “Kenny” as we only have a small kitchen, it is easy to hand wash the jug.
It is really good value, quality is great, it works really well and it is from a well established brand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very powerful, superb quality jug.

This Phillips blender is basic and easy to use.

I’m not too keen on the glass jar – it’s really heavy and that’s when it’s empty, never mind how heavy it is when it’s full. The glass can easily break too if it accidentally slips from your hands, when washing or drying.

If you have problems gripping heavy things then you might want to consider other lighter options.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWith a good sized (2 litre) glass jug, removable blade element, two speed settings and an ice chopping setting, this is a remarkably good value and compact blender from Philips. I primarily use a blender for blending hot home made soup where a glass jug is essential and this breezed through some pan cooked butternut squash and carrot soup in a few seconds — see photos and video. The removable blade makes it very easy to clean and it has two suckers on the base to keep it in place. Thankfully, it arrives with NO unwanted junk (portable jug, spatula, cleaning brush etc.). Thoroughly recommended, particularly if kitchen space is at a premium.

*I’ve included a photo of it next to a can of baked beans to indicate its size*

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and compact GLASS jug blende

This blender is slightly larger and slightly more expensive than the previous model in this range.
It a really good value option with 2 speeds plus the option of pulse which I find very useful.
I’m surprised how heavy the jar part is but it is made of glass which explains that. That makes the part easy to clean in the dishwasher and (if you don’t drop it) it will last for ever.
I’ve used this for smoothies and am very happy with it. Ice is easy to crush and I’ve not come across anything it won’t work with yet.

It feels really good to have a decent blender again. I must of reached a certain level of maturity (+cough+) to have typed such a sentence but it’s true. Our son recently broke our old blender by trying to blend a full block of ice with a tiny bit of juice to try and make a cold drink recently, so it’s trying this Philips blender out was like having an old tool back in the kitchen again!

It’s a Philips appliance, so comes from a trusted brand and is well designed. It comes with a pretty big 2L jar for the top of the blender (with a 1.25l effective capacity) and is incredibly easy to user with only one center dial and two speed settings.

There’s a thermo protection sensor, so hopefully no more broken blenders which is a plus!

At 600w, there are certainly more powerful heavier duty blenders out there but from a good brand with a very simple, effective setup this blender is a win for me.
