I suffer from several allergies and can get very congested. So I have two of these: one in the bedroom and one in the living room where I have a log burner. And what a difference they make!
The air quality monitor on the machines is great. So, if I’m changing bed sheets, etc, it instantaneously recognises that there is more dust in the room and, when in auto mode, increases fan speed to deal with it. If I have an episode with the log burner and there is increased particulate matter or smoke in the room, the air purifier kicks in and gets to work to quickly restore air quality.
I’m not sure why some reviews have moaned about the app – unless it has improved since those reviews – as I find it more than adequate.
When I logged the first machine to the WiFi it was a bit of a faff, but much easier with the second one.
The two replaceable filters are not cheap. But the carbon filter isn’t important to me so I simply vacuum it. And you can purchase non-branded HEPA filters – I have been more than happy with the ones that I have bought.
A friend who also suffers with allergies was so impressed that he bought one and now sleeps better.

I suffer from mould allergies to the point where I couldn’t sleep at night due to chest tightness and wheezing. didn’t want to go and take inhalers and this thing worked beautifully. Within a few hours, my condition improved significantly. It is effective, quick, does not consume a lot of energy and hasn’t requested a filter change for over 5 months now (might be due ina month) and I use it about 12 hours per day.

I still experience allergies (as I have my whole life) but it is much much better. Definitely worth the cost.

It arrived quicker than we expected and well packaged. It’s very easy to use and appears to clear the air as it’s supposed to do. Our little grandson likes to have it switched on whenever he visits as he likes the pretty coloured lights.

Clears smoke or perfumes from the air within minutes of it detecting impurities in a room. Left in auto the machine sits quietly in most modes (and silent in sleep mode) until it detects high levels of pollutants when it kicks into turbo mode – you’ll hear it then. The app is user friendly and can display and control multiple units if you have them. The current levels of PM2.5 and allergens are displayed as is the time left before cleaning or replacing filters. Very happy with the purchase.

Great for hay-fever, animal allergy and general air-born toxins. Makes a huge difference to the quality of the air and just makes breathing easier and more pleasant. Well done Philips!

It is still too early to draw conclusions, but looks promising. Consumes the full tank of water a day to bring humidity to 60%.
Cleans and purifies the air, reminds us a bit of a mountain smell.

I really like this unit. It definitely makes a difference to the allergens in the air and is extremely quiet on sleep mode. I also love the fact it synchs up to my iPhone.

My wife developed sinus problems and allergies She had all the hospital tests but didn’t help as we had moved into a wooded area. After some research Dyson was slated and this Phillips had great reviews. It’s brilliant and although not cheap it’s well made and humidifies by blending filtering the water before it blown into the room. The allergens are filtering the air. Works with smart phone through bluetooth and has night mode that you can’t hear and you can turn the display off 10/10

I got my new bed room paint and let this air purifier working for just 1 and half days , then the air quality had been from 12 poor to 4 or 5. Automatic mode is nice which run with efficient and clean the VOCs quickly .

We brought this due to our dog suffering with environmental allegies, pollen and dust etc. We have been extremely impressed with the machine and its functionalities ! It is pricey but worth it 10 times over and more. It has helped our dog so much ! It’s incredible how much it collects and this video was 1 week worth of use in a 3 bedroom house.

Very good product. Sleep mode is excellent. Very sensitive to polluted air. The only thing I’d say is that it is quite big, but have to bear in mind it circulates air in large rooms. We have an open plan kitchen and living space and this will clear strong cooling smells

breathing problems .So we went ahead and have not regretted our choice at all .

Omg! What a buy this was! We’ve been looking for an air purifier for ages and then Amazon had a promo on this. We got it now ( before the spring allergies kicked in) and it’s already worth every penny. My husband is asthmatic and since having this he reduced his inhaler at night. We have a small bedroom, so the size seems a bit of an overkill, BUT we use this to “clean” half a house worth of air.
Absolutely brilliant and on offer it’s a bargain for the benefits it brings.

I’m working from home so decided I should focus on air quality in the house. It works well and connects to alexa and the app with no issues. Been using it for about a month and no issues. Notifications to clean or replace are good. Had one to so far to clean the pre filter, this was easy to do and simply a vacuum clean on the pre filter and place back in.

All in all I would recommend this product and I would say it is money well spent for those conscious of air quality.

I don’t have anything to compare it to but seems a good product, the sleep mode is inaudible and noticed a difference the first time it was used, though haven’t since. Had it now 2 1/2 months and it’s the 3rd time had to clean the filters, it does seem to detect changes in air quality.

    Seems a good produc
