So I owned XBOX controller before. Just wanted to test and see the difference. Realized that this is my preferred controller. I love design and ergonomics.
Control also feels better then XBOX, but honestly this is my subjective observation and feeling.
Main 2 problems to be aware when comparing to XBOX controller for PC users:
1. In most of the games UI the key icons will be A B X Y and not the PS icons.
2. Battery life is much shorter then XBOX, so i’m defiantly going to order a dock.
BUT even with this 2 negative points, personally I’ll stick to this controller as my default choice for gaming. I just like the design, ergonomics and in game response much more then what I have experienced with XBOX.
It’s authentic and works flawlessly. Not much else to say as, if you own a PS5 you’re not exactly spoilt for choice LOL.
The best thing here is the interest free split payment over 3 months finally landing on these.
They are quite expensive for a second controller so great to be able to just break up the cost.
Oh and there’s not stick drift at all.
Had to buy a new one to replace the originals that came with mu console due to stick drift, so far no issues my second controller is getting worse for stick drift I’ll probably buy a second one of these and bin i

It does come with a stylish design but it is also a very good and reliable product. I will usually get blister after hours of gaming, but not for using this controller. When I am using it, it really feel like part of my body.

The only downside is that it comes without the cable.

Smaller than the control that came with the ps5 and not as heavy. I did wonder if this wasn’t a genuine controller given because of this but after research it would appear this is the newer version of the control.
Great controller, with added Wow! when engaged in a game. Make sure you extend the warranty tho…because of the drifting issues that can creep in after a year of intense gaming.
This appears to be a genuine Sony controller – works well and was properly packaged.
(although (and this applies to all PS5 controllers) – they should put a larger battery in them – they go from full charge to 1 pip after about 4 hours of use)

The share and option button feel less firm that my original controller, no problems other than that. Dies quickly but that with every playstation controller from every generation tbh. The box the controller came was not in English for me, minot issue but for those interested in reading what the box has to say might struggle to do so. Lastly the controller came with no charging cable, worst trend from tech companies nowadays
I love this controller it feels great this is my favourite controller out of all the console’s I’ve played I really like the haptic feedback and the design of the controller it’s futuristic looking.
It’s more comfortable, the buttons feel better, and features like adaptive triggers are revolutionary. Sony’s precise, immersive haptics are on a different level compared to other controllers, which just rumble at varying intensities.
I suspect that there is a little bit of biased here, the first proper controller that I used was a joystick – have never really been comfortable with that name but ………….
After that was the original, wired PS1 controller – I’d be surprised if many of the readers of this review have ever used one of these but they were pretty much perfect – ergonomically the right size, perfectly weighted and they just worked!
After playing though many iterations of controllers – playstation, xbox, those bloody Nintendo things and even Nvidia Sheild controllers, personally I believe that this PS5 controller is the best that tech has to offer at the moment……

This works perfectly, and connects instantly.
The R1 and R2 buttons are a bit too springy for my liking though. I was used to not having to press so hard on them with the Stadia controller

Significantly better in every way over the PS4 controller, better battery life, ergonomics, accuracy and the new features are so much better and so underhyped that the sony marketing department should be fired. The adaptive triggers are excellent and really add a bit more to many games including driving and adventure games. The biggest change is the rumble, gone is the old eccentric weight spinning affairs and we have haptic feedback now which is subtle enough to feel the difference between rain and hail in games that support the features. Its amazing. So buy the official sony ones, preferably when on special offers and get the full experience.

I haven’t run into any issues with this device. I have been using it for months. It feels great to hold, the haptics and vibration feedback is without flaw, and the buttons feel fine.

Works with PC out the box (card is thin so open carefully if you wanna save the box) you’ll need to set up configuration of you controller in steam or other software but it works great.
I like these controllers better than Xbox for comfort and gameplay but don’t seem to last as long on build quality I have both ps5 and Xbox x and have to say I play alot more on my ps5 but the left control stick on two dual sense have like blistered up and I can see them falling off had both consoles for a year and the Xbox controller is still looking new although I play my ps three times more I would say and I’m on my third controller.
Took a while for this to agree with my PC for whatever reason. Also a bit finnicky to turn off and on, takes like 10 seconds on the power button to turn off and only a slight tap on the panel or power button to come back on. I have a controller rack which has woken this thing up from “Off” mode before just by hitting the against the panel.
Outside of that, when working it has zero issues with Steam games that support it natively. I usually prefer using KBM but some games just prefer gamepads, so I bought this to replace an aging XB360 one I’ve had for a while.
Looks sleek, feels quite premium, no real construction issues. It does feel like a struggle to justify the price though.
