The Dynamax phenomenon
Dynamax is a phenomenon unique to specific locations in the Galar region, where Pokémon can take on gigantic appearances during battle, and it’s an integral part of Pokémon battles in the region.
Pokémon from the Galar region are able to Dynamax, and when they do, they become tremendously strong and receive a boost to their power.
My 10 year old son said it’s lots of fun and lots to do in the game.
Haven’t enjoyed the newer Pokmon games for a while, and always found myself getting bored. This game is far from the perfect Pokmon game, but the new features and direction work really well, and it’s looking hopeful for the future of the series! I found myself engaged and immersed in the world. The world feels alive and filled with living Pokmon (like the anime) and the way the gyms and the league work makes so much more sense now! It’s a sporting event and you are in a competition! Also the Pokdex is really mixed well, every areas has new and unique Pokmon, I felt much more of a desire to catch and complete my Pokdex then any other game. Also the addition of wild Pokmon with random levels worked great too! You can encounter a level 50 Snorlax at the start, but you need several badges to catch high level Pokmon! It’s a big shift but it just works and makes the game feel fresh!
Amazing game one of the best quality pokemon games I have played but a really fantastic open world experience bite disappointed that there was no legendary to catch but over all good game

Feels weird to play a Pokemon game since I stopped playing after 3rd gen but truly worth getting
Acquiring the code was easy just followed provided link to Nintendo eshop and the game was redeemed and downloaded to my switch, already had shield on cart so decided to get sword as well ready for the dlc.
Absolutely incredible gaming and very immersive. I’ve been a fan of the Games since I was a youngen and this game has literally blown my mind. Cannot wait for the DLCs to arrive as the game has so much more potential to evolve.
Great story, Pokemon and a great way to spend my weekend.
