It’s a 10 feet USB A to USB C cable. The end connectors are PS5 white so they look nice and proper when plugged in and in use. The 10′ length is greatly appreciated and for most setups will allow you to keep gaming from an adequate distance while charging up.
Charges pad, can play whilst charging – not really much else to say about a cable. PS5 compatible.
Let’s start off with this cable. Does more than charge a PlayStation. It can charge a phone. It can power a Nintendo switch if whatever device you have takes USBC it will charge it! Considering the length and the power it handles, this wasn’t a bad price at all. Typically if it lists a name brand like PlayStation the cost doubles or triples! At least it does with Nintendo! Not in this case, just a good charging cable that will keep up the demands of whatever device that you have that needs power!

I know it is a small thing, but I really like the PlayStation logo and brand-correct colors of this cable. It has a good balance between strength and flexibility for a controller cord. I have had some controller cables in the past that were a little higher quality, which is the reason for the rating being 4 stars. However, for the price, I think the value is there if you want a branded cable.

The cable works fine and does a good job of keeping the picture quality to the level of a PS5. The cable is pretty long so you may need to wrap it to keep it out of the way.
Overall a good choice and has been working well.

PowerA’s 10′ USB-A to C cable isn’t anything extraordinary. It’s a standard rubber enclosed 10′ cable that happens to have a PS5 logo on both ends. It works fine with any device requiring a USB C connection; I’ve tried multiple ones. Since it’s at the price of many collections of 4 or even 6 cables it’s 4 stars rather than 5.
I like how it’s long so I can charge my controller from a distance especially since mounting the system to the wall I Recommend

This is a well made replacement for PlayStation 5. It is sturdy and fast charging.
My husband is a Playstation player and was constantly stealing my charging cable for his controller. I ordered this product specifically for him and I am very happy with the quality of this charger. The wrap on the cable is heavy duty and sleek and the length is perfect for charging anywhere. Overall, I think I ended up with the perfect charger and I’ll be ordering another to have on hand for not only our controllers but phone too!
I put this item to work as soon as it was received and one big thing shocked me about a simple usb-cable, the ability to do wired connection to the PS5 controller with very low latency. I charged both my PS5 controllers with no problems and also my 3D wireless headset as that is also Usb-C. The wired connection is great as this cable is 10 feet long and my setup is about 8ft away. The PS5 controller can be set for wired connection within settings>accesories>wired connection. This is a game changer for shooters and if your on a marathon session and only have one controller.
The cable build quality is good and it’s colors match the PS5. I would have liked to have seen a braided cable, but the cable is thick, so that should not be an issue. I have had zero charging or wired issues with drops and I will update this review if things change.
Overall, it’s a little more pricey than most, but it’s officially licensed and for the wired connection alone, this is worth it, plus the benefit of a 10 foot cable.
Not too much to say other than this cable gets the job done. As noted in the headline, the length of the cable is much, much greater than that of the one that is provided with the console.
Of course, this is much more convenient. Quality product.
This cable is labeled “for PlayStation”, but I don’t know if that means anything special other than having a PlayStation logo printed on the cable. The cable appears to be a normal USB-A to USB-C charging-only cable. It can charge any USB-C device (including smartphone and laptops). It does not work for transferring data. They don’t say what the maximum charging rate is, but I assume it can support whatever the PlayStation can support. It does not support USB Power Delivery fast charging. The cable seems to be well built with sturdy connectors and housing. If you shop around, I’m sure you can find similar quality cables without the PlayStation logo for half the price.
Love this extra long 10ft cable. I have tones of short ones that come with products.. but sometimes you need a long one so you can charge a device while further away and use it. I’m not a gamer and don’t care about the PS logos, just needed a long cable and this is it!
I can’t keep up with the devices always changing ports! This one is for the C fitting. Works for play station and also other devices with this type of port. The extra long length of the cord is what sold us. My kids often like to play their devices and not sit right next to an outlet, so this allows for a long distance away. Also some cords are cheap – the connectors break. This one is sturdy and has no issues with that. Highly recommend to use for PlayStation or even as an extra charging cord!
I will update this in a few months after more testing. As it stands right now the cable works as well as the Sony charging cable that came with my PS 5. It is longer however, which is a good thing for me. It charges just as well as the Sony brand cable.
A week isn’t long enough to give a more in depth review than this. I will definitely update this over time.
My husband wanted a longer charging wire for his PS5 remote & this is just that! No complaints so far!
The cord is a 4 wire USB-A to C charging cord. We have a docking charger already but having a long cord around for marathon gaming sessions or when the controller doesn’t make it back to its docking station is really a must. The cord is the rubber/plastic coated type and is a good quality, it plugs in snuggly and does the trick. Easy 5 stars.
Seems like a pretty good charger so far. I got to charge my phone since I dont have a ps5. Fast charge for not being specific for fast charges on phones.
I can’t speak on the behalf of how great this cable is when connected to a PlayStation 5 as for we still wait for ours to arrive someday from Sony, but as far as build quality and reliability in charging my cellphone and data transfer from phone to PC it works great. It is a thick durable cable and at 10 feet provides ample amount of cable to sit from the couch while playing if I could do so, but for now provides charging from the couch. Overall a quality cable with no manufacturing defects or issues.
I needed a robust cord that wouldn’t get pinched or break. For some reason this is labeled PS5 (I assume they were trying to market it for game controllers I get it) But of course you can use this cord for any USB C need. I personally use it for my mag safe traveling battery. For some reason with my MagSafe battery they gave me a cord that not only was about 2 inches long but it was so thin I couldn’t even believe it.
This cord that I am doing this review on is THICK! It actually feels heavy! I never thought I would say that about a cord. I took it out of the box that it came in and it is robust. Seriously.
Therefore it is going to be great for traveling, connecting various things as well as my battery.

I was expecting a thinner cable but was surprised to see a very nice, well constructed cable!! It charges the PS5 controller perfectly and great for charging and playing at the same time so your controller does not run out of battery.
This cable is also perfect for any devices that require USB A to USB C.
I got this cable to use my ps5 controller on PC. So far, it works perfectly. I tried many other cables, including USB-c cables from different brands, but this is my solution. My only problem right now is charging the controller using my PC, which is not possible.
I have good experience with this cable. Therefore, I can safely recommend it.
This works perfectly and just long enough for me to sit on the couch and play. The PS5 controller does not seem to last very long, especially when you have all the features turned on. My kids and I could play for a few hours and then used to have to switch controllers. With this 10-foot cable we can leave it plugged into a usb outlet while playing all day. It works and looks great. I highly recommend this!
Was unsure at first while trying to locate a good PS5 charger cable which is longer. But when arrived do not retreat order.

I had bought quite a few leads with claims of them being compatible with the PS5 for charge & play and even data mode IE;getting to use in Safe mode and none of them worked!
I can confirm 100% this lead is great well-built and good quality and works with the PS5 across plug and play and charge and also data mode/Safe mode also worked updating no problem my dual sense controller.
Furthermore, I can highly recommend this product for all the above positive functions needed!

Cable is sufficiently long enough to keep you going during those long gaming sessions.
This is better than the original it doesn’t keep disconnecting and always fully charges controller.
Durable and a great length, not knock off connectors either. A must for all PS5 users.
