Pro Breeze® 20L/Day Dehumidifier with Digital Humidity Display, Sleep Mode, Continuous Drainage, Laundry Drying and 24 Hour Timer – Ideal for Damp and Condensatio
Eradicate Condensation
Condensation appearing on the inside of your windows is a key warning sign that your room has a problem with high humidity and trapped moisture. This excess moisture can lead to major problems for the adjacent area, such as your walls staining, discolouring, and even peeling. Fight excess moisture at home with a dehumidifier.
Humidity & Respiratory Problems
High humidity has been directly linked to many respiratory problems, particularly in young children. It provides the perfect breeding ground for dust mites which live in your furniture, carpets and bedding. Reducing humidity helps eradicate mites and prevents airborne triggers, improving the quality of air around you.
Combat Damp & Black Mould
Mould is a common problem in many households. It can indicate high humidity and may cause your room to smell unpleasant and musty. Black Mould is the most toxic and can release harmful mycotoxins into the air. It starts to grow at 50% humidity, so it is vital that you control your rooms humidity level to prevent its growth.

I was a little reluctant before 8t arrived as I couldn’t find too many reviews online but I can not recommend it enough. Excellent piece of kit well worth the money.
This product is working great, does a good job.I leave it on top of my landing for the 3bedrooms and bathroom and I am now condensation free. Great not having to wipe the windows everyday.
We bought this for our daughter whose student accommodation was damp and going mouldy and who couldn’t get her washing dry in her room. She is thrilled with it – it works really well to address her damp problems
I have an old ish hours and stain glass windows in my hall way in the winter they have so so much water in them and it’s causing damp so I purchased a dehumidifier and it’s amazing I did my research and read loads on different machines I went for a 20litre and honestly it’s amazing I just hope it keeps amazing highly recommend
I wanted to get a large dehumidifier device, as I had a small one for a couple of years (not so good and costed 45). Currently, I am drying most my clothes indoors( have a garden and washer-drier). Indoor smell changes during the wet days, and some small patches started appearing on the bedroom. Had a full house renovation 3 years ago, with underfloor heating and all. ON THE FIRST 5 HR I CLEARED ABOUT 2L WATER, AND HAD NO CLOTHES DRYING OR SHOWER RUNNIG WITHIN THAT GAP. I am recommending this product to my friends and will buy again to send it to my mother abroad. ! There might be other products better, however I am confident to say that this purchase with accidental coverage is the best investment for this season.
This machine has made such a difference. The carpets feel better the room smells better and we use it daily to keep damp away. We are getting 10-20 litres off every couple of days. Well worth the money.
Not cheap to run when on high speed and constant but does remove a surprising amount of water from the atmosphere. Fairly light and easy to move about. Not silent, by any means, but white noise and is soon filtered out. Oddly enough the percent of moisture reported on the machine does not tally with hygrometer sat next to it (63% on device vs 50% on hygrometer) but hard to know which is (most) accurate. However, a very good device and very pleased with purchase.
Huge improvement at home, it changed our life. We used to live with 80% of humidity and we are now always below 60% thanks to this machine. We fixed it in the bathroom and put it just while we take showers. I wish the wire was longer.
I’m very very happy with the machine.
Things to note:
1. Put some tape at the bottom of the intake, there is a space there to allow dust inside.
2. Replace filter with a cheap carbon filter, will be much better and cleaner inside.
3. It still get’s dirty inside but it’s not very hard to open the machine and vacuum inside of it.
For that price I would like it to have a generic cheap HEPA filter on intake. That would provide huge extra benefit.
EDIT: excellent response time from the seller, advised me to follow cleaning instructions and try the dehumidifier out in different rooms for a period of time. After following their advice (and over the space of about 1 month) the machine eventually started working again however it is not as efficient as before. Seems to fill a tank over 48-72 hours usage where as it could fill it in less than 24h of use before breaking down. When this one dies I will shop around for a new model as I don’t feel this one justifies it’s cost.
Original post:
Seemed like a decent bit of kit, extracting a full tank every couple of days with the dehumidifier in use overnight only. However after 3 months it has stopped collecting any fluid, the fan is running and humidity showing around 60% in a room heated to approx 20degC so maybe there is a faulty part or possibly just poor quality that doesn’t last long. Not what id expect for near 200.
I had previously owned the same model and it lasted around 2 years before the same fault occurred which I put down to high usage, so I bought the same model as a replacement but this time only 3 months of light/moderate use until failure. Not good enough.
I have contacted the seller asking for a replacement or refund so depending on there response I will update this review. Perhaps I’ve just been unlucky and revieved a faulty item? Or possibly it’s just a poor quality item that isn’t built to last.
We were getting crazy condensation on windows and lots of soggy walls behind cabinets and in cupboards.
For context, we are in a 1930’s 3 bed semi. And the water that this thing collects everyday is amazing. We’ve no longer had any damp or condensation issues.
The clothes drying setting is like wizardry! Even in the minus outside temps, and not having to adjust our heating settings, this thing dries cloths out in hours pretty much. Some a bit longer, but long gone are the damp smells of slow drying clothes!!
Anyone in the market for a Dehumidifier, this is well worth the extra budge
After seeing it’s high rating on other sites I chose this item to rid my house of excessive dampness. My bay windows were saturated and plastered walls around my home were damp due to airing laundry and generally poor air circulation. This appliance has been a godsend and my home is dry and mould-free again. It’s amazing how much water it collects. I have it running in the background and it’s no more noisy than a running fan.
Having had this now for a few months I have to say I’ve been greatly impressed with the results. The house did have fairly high humidity levels but since running the unit that is no longer the case, the house feels better we feel better. All in all its not that expensive to run and I’m sure the long term benefits far out weigh any running costs. When running there is a slightly audible fan noise but not intrusive. The wheels and carry handle make for easy moving including up and down stairs, but ensure you empty tank first. So we think it was a worthwhile purchase.
This is a really good and high-quality product, but it is very heavy and very loud. I think you can find quieter and lighter ones for such an expensive price.
I had very bad condensation in my attic which resulted in all the felt dripping water droplets onto the floorboards and contents stored in the attic. It was so bad it felt like it was raining in my attic.
Because it was so bad, I bought the Pro-breeze 20L de-humidifier to take the water out of the air, and that worked really well as I could see the impact of the de-humidifier in how full the water tank was every day (on many days the water tank was full) and the relative humidity % reading on the unit started to fall. I never managed to get the relative humidity below 60% though as no matter how hard the unit worked, more cold and fresh air was circulating in the attic.
However, I started to feel that I was often taking water out of the air unnecessarily as sometimes there was no chance of condensation happening, and all I was doing is making the air drier, which ended up outside due to the ventilation in the attic.
I needed to be able to calculate the attic temperature at which water could no longer be held in the air (cold air can hold much less water than warm air) which is called the dew point temperature.
The Pro-breeze doesn’t give you the dew point temperature, but you can get a free app called CalcComfort which will calculate the dewpoint temperature once you enter the actual temperature and RH% readings from the Pro-breeze de-humidifier.
If the dewpoint temperature is only a couple of degrees from the actual temperature, I will switch on my de-humidifier for a few hours to reduce the amount of water in the air (reduce the RH%) and make it much less likely for condensation to happen.
The upside is that I don’t have any condensation anymore in my attic and I only put my de-humidifier on when I think there is a high probability of condensation.
Overall, the Pro-breeze de-humidifier is very quiet and although we have left it on continuously for many days and the unit was above our bedroom in the attic, we never heard it once. Very pleased with my purchase and it does what we wanted it to do and that is take out large amounts of water from the air, very quietly.
The 20L per day claim is based on a room temperature of 30C. I bought this due to winter damp and condensation and at a room temperature of 19C with a high starting humidity it seemed that 7L per day would be more accurate – which is quite a performance drop off.
That said it still works quite well – dropping a large bedroom humidity level from 70% to 40% in about 6 hours. I live in a ground floor flat with a damp issue. Whilst this isn’t the long term answer used daily over the past month it helps keep the environment feeling noticeably healthier and window condensation / black mould at bay.
The water tank is a bit awkward to remove when full, would have been easier if it was in the front of the unit. Quite noisey but you get used to i
I bought this as I currently live in an old cottage, so it gets cold very quickly. Since using this dehumidifier I’ve been able to turn my heating down to minimum. Less moisture means more heat & no damp. Drys clothes quicker, noise level not annoying & doesn’t break the bank to run. Bold spend saves money in long run. Would recommend for anyone.
This unit is easy to move around. It removes a lot of moisture. The timer functions are largely useless. A timer/clock and the ability to switch it on or off would be better. I have managed to sleep in the same room with it on both night mode and also going full power. It doesn’t seem to switch off when target humidity is hit, also could do with a longer power cable, since it’s stated to not use with an extension lead. I managed to drop from high 70 low 80 to 55 in my 1 bed flat in a week, emptied the reservoir once a day. Now used when cooking, laundry and on low over night to prevent condensation. It’s very surprising how quickly 1 day of not using it and the humidity shoots up again just from shower, cooking and breathing.
Have had it working in our 100 year house 24/7 for over a week. Can’t believe the amount of moisture it’s collected. Very clever machine.
A bit noisy to start with however does an amazing job . Instructions that come with it are not very good . Very pleased with it tho
We where having a problem with mould and damp then we saw the pro breeze dehumidifier and decided we would give it a go.
The amount of water collected by this machine is unbelievable and it knocks off automatically when full.
It is certainly doing the job for us and i would recommend it to anyone.
