Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI paired this with a smart plug, so I could control the time it was on remotely. All works really well and the heater gives off quite a lot of warmth, even at low powers.
Only minor annoyance is when it gets hot at low power, the expansion makes a consistent clicking. It’s only annoying when you are in the same room, but would probably make it annoying in a bedroom.

Easy to assemble the casters and simple to operate. 3 heat settings and a decent thermostat. Not the cheapest to run but will work well as you don’t need the central heating on, always a bonus!

Like the easy movement of the radiator, the heat output is good and is great to add heat to a room not had it long enough to comment on how economical it is .

    Exactly what we needed.
Heat can be felt instantly and timer function is great for efficiency and economical aspect.

When it does warm up it is very hot on level two, but level one is adequate to save on cost.
I’ve only used it for short periods so not sure on longevity.

If you’re looking for an oil filled radiator you’ve probably seen the whole load of clones that look basically identical and eventually settled on this one. Good news, it gives a great amount of heat, nicely and for the most part silently. However I will say that if you want to use the thermostat on it that it can be annoying. For some reason the thermostat is very sensitive. Once it reaches the temperature it clicks off, then about 5 seconds later it clicks back on again, and then every 5 seconds it clicks on and off. I find that annoying enough that I cant use the thermostat function in my bedroom. However, selecting a lower heat output and leaving the thermostat on high basically solves this problem.

I bought this to heat a large bedroom prior to putting on the main heating and found it to be very good. The timer function is easy to use and overall seems to be well made.

Easy to assemble – just castors to put on. It feels solid and well made, is neat, looks good and is easy to operate. Heats up very quickly.

This rad heats up quickly and radiates so much heat. The black colour makes it more stylish than your traditional rad.

A good solid radiator that I’ve used for a few months, it warms up quick and produces a good heat, the down side is the cost, especially with all the energy price rises.

We’ve had to deploy this heater a few times due to a boiler coming to the end of its life and becoming more and more unreliable.

The room heater on the other hand is working perfectly every time. There are limits to the amount of room space that can be heated with one unit but every room/area we have used it in has been kept at a decent temperature compared to the otherwise unheated rest of the house.

I can recommend this, especially over fan type heaters as this oil heater does not cause any noise and provides even heat in all directions. You can dry clothes on it or near it (which is otherwise impossible in an unheated, cold space). I would not necessarily recommend this for prolonged use as the energy consumption is quite high – this does not replace your central heating but it can help you manage through a boiler breakdown etc. very nicely.

Very pleased with this radiator. I must say I wasn’t sure which make, size or output that I wanted to heat my lounge but I bit the bullet and, at this point in time, I made the right choice. It takes the chill off the room first thing in the morning and late afternoon and saves putting the heating on until you want the whole house heated – which since I’ve had this radiator I haven’t put the heating on in my bungalow. I don’t mind a cold bedroom. I hope this helps the undecided!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe now have two of these as backups in case of boiler failure which happened very recently so were put to the test. Our house is a standard 3 bedroom detached with a total of 8 rooms.
Between the two radiators our house has been kept at a comfortable temperature 24/7 for 7 days before the boiler was fixed with low single digit temperatures outside day & night. They passed the test running at half max power onced the house warmed up again !

These are powerful oil-filled radiators using a max output of 2.5kw/hr each when using electricty so aren’t cheap to run on max power (especially right now) but they do have 3 selective heat outputs so you don’t have to run them at max only, they also have an adjustable temperature thermostat, so it’s best to play with both controls initially to get the right balance. Also consider position within a room or building for efficiency.

    Summery:
Heat output: Very high due to the max 2.5kw power capablity.
Functions: Selective power out; off & 3 levels, adjustable thermostat & 24 hr multi-selective on/off timer.
Size: On the larger side but these are in proportion for their high heat output.
Weight: These can be carried but do have a little weight because of the size & materials used in them.
Noise level: None apart from a very low level background click from the thermostat turning on/off.
Instant heat output: No. Use a fan heater for that. These are radiators, unlike fan heaters these will warm up just like the domestic radiators around the house & will continue to radiate heat after they have turned off.
    Small observations:
We have the black ones and these devices, as other similar and smaller ones do also, will get very hot to the touch when on, just be aware of this with younger children around and location proximity.
    One complaint:
The U-clamps that hold the wheel brackets to the radiator have weak threads or bad wing nuts, or both so the wheels cannot be tighened up properly. both of ours came with weak or almost non-existant ability to hold the brackets to the radiator due to this issue. Given these radiators should not be directly positioned on the floor without some kind of spacing, such as wheels, this is disappointing. Manufacturer please address this issue.

Other than that last comment, my personal experience is that I highly recommend these, they aren’t the smallest/lightest/cheapest devices, but if you want heat, they certainly deliver !

I bought this really as a standby in case of any gas supply issues.
But, I have actually used it often, instead of using central heating as it is easily
capable of heating the main living rooms ( especially during the day when
the upstairs is not being used much.
I would thoroughly recommend this heater, and am tempted to get a second one for
    use upstairs !

I can’t give you the tech specs, but the timer is OK. The only thing is you either have it on timer or you have it on manual. I can’t see how to keep the timer on and then override it. It makes our conservatory warm in winter very quickly. It is a decent all-year-round conservatory built in 2020. It could probably heat much of our downstairs (five reception rooms, detached house, if need be. Would recommend. More than does the job for our conservatory.

You need to put the wheels on the heater when it arrives but this is easy to do. It’s easy to move around as it’s on wheels and is easy to use. You have 3 heat settings and a dial for high to low. The timer is easy to use and is handy.
As I have a smart meter I can see the costs of using the heater and it’s expensive so when our heatings fixed this will only be used in emergencies.
It does warm the room up quickly so it’s good

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought this radiator because my normal wall mounted one has broken down, and I live is a small studio flat and the room I need to heat is about 16m square, and I live in a block of flats in London UK. I have had the unit for about a month now, and I find this unit provides all the heat I need and without having to be set on it maximum setting. The most useful feature is the timer function. Normally in this day and age I would expect a digital timer – but this radiator uses a simple mechanical set of very small dip switches arranged in a circular clockface pattern. There are four switches per hour (96 switches in total) meaning that you can precisely control whether the heater is on or off every 15 minutes throughout the entire 24 hour day. Initially I thought that the mechanical nature of this feature was a cheap cost cutting exercise. In fact I think it is brilliant – it is dead simple, very quick to adjust, completely intuitive, giving you a totally customisable heating profile for the entire 24 hour day. This is far quicker than stepping though a menu system when you have to set the start and stop times in a digital clock – and then you are likely to be restricted in the number of controllable periods available to be set. The method used by this radiator is so much better that there is no comparison. You can easily adjust it on a daily basis if you wanted to – to take into account if the forecast for the day is cold meaning – for example – that you want to have the heater off during the night but wake up a little earlier than usual to take off the early morning chill. I also set it going for an hour in the middle of the night to help prevent the temperature dropping too low by about 4:00am. Recommended.

I purchased this as my central heating stopped working just as the snow started to fall with no sign of gas central heating company getting out to me any time soon plus the temperatures dropped. I stood it in front of one of my radiators & not only did it heat the room it warmed up the radiator too, keeping the temperature a little more bearable. It may have been nearly 100 but it was money well spent. Easy to put the feet on if a little heavy to lift on your own. It’s quite maneuverable but be careful & keep away from children as it gets Very Hot! I would give it 20 if I could & thank goodness it arrived a day early. Well done to Pro Breeze & distributors from a warmer, grateful consumer.

Taking into consideration this is a very early review – I have only had these for a week or so – but wow do they pump out the heat. We have had a couple of very cold nights – and really I have found these work best on a medium (50% dial) temp setting – and a power setting of 1 (out of 3 power settings 3 being the highest). This keeps everything stable and warms up the room nicely. Standard size bedrooms this works a charm – even worked well on a large 12m x 6m open plan living and dining room with no door so heat was escaping.

Great Heat Output for such a small thing. Because it’s New I’m not too sure as to how efficient this is on electricity in general, however I’m willing to give it a try, but now I have brought another one because I’m very impressed within hours of receiving this how Hot and quickly the room is warm already. I have storage heaters so I’m using another kind of heat source and someone recommended this for me. NOT a waist of money in my book.

    It works!

Perfect radiator. Bought to use in my cellar to help keep damp away. It’s so powerful it heats the space in next to no time. The built in time is excellent I only need it on 1 hour a day and it’s done the job. I think it would easily heat a larger space

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI need new radiators (they’re originals, I think, and clogged up with sludge) but it’s been too cold to do without them altogether while they’re replaced and COVID lockdown hasn’t helped with getting someone out either. I bought this in desperation because I was so cold every evening, even though I was permanently wrapped in blankets to watch TV.
This radiator has been a total Godsend. I put it on for an hour this evening which was enough to lift the temperature in the room (19x12ft) from 20C to 24C. Too hot for some, granted, but I’m disabled and need it. Half an hour at most to 22.5C would probably have been plenty for the majority of people. It’s been switched off for hours now and I’m still snug and warm.
I won’t comment on the timer function yet as I just switch it on when I need a boost and, frankly, I neither know nor care very much whether it’s the most energy efficient heater on the market. My bills will eventually tell the story, but just one hour versus central heating on all day to reach no more than 21.5C has got to be an improvement.
The pluses are that it arrived within 2 days of ordering, putting the castors on was a doddle making it easy to move around, especially on a hard floor, and the most difficult part for me was sliding it out of the box on my own as it’s oil filled and heavy.
I’m very happy with it as it does exactly what I bought it for. It will also be easy to store in a wardrobe for the summer.

This is one of the most efficient heaters I’ve ever bought. You can choose how many kilowatt you use which is useful. Most of the time I use 1kw, with the thermostat turned just under half way and this heats my sitting room/dining room very effectively. This has wheels so it can be moved. The only down is that it does tend to click – I thought that would go with use but it continues to click as the thermostat turns it back on. I can’t hear it over the TV but it might be annoying in a bedroom for light sleepers.

Edit – I spoke to Pro Breeze support directly and they very quickly offered a replacement after I sent them evidence of the fault. Excellent customer service. I fully recommend this radiator.

I bought this radiator a little over 4 months ago and up until about 3/4 days ago it has been working well. All of a sudden though it has started making an electrical buzzing noise whenever the termostat turns it off. Now I find that it won’t even turn on. I’ve got to admit, I’d have expected this product to last a little longer than 4 months and will be seeking to either return it for a full refund or get it replaced.

I bought this to act as background heating n a double garage, and it does this adequately. It’s set at the medium level so I haven’t tested how warm it could make things. I just want to keep the garage frost-free and assist the freezer by not having it in a place that is too cold.

Brilliant bit of kit for size.
Our open fire needed repairs and we were without proper downstairs heating other than useless storage heaters. This little unit is not enough to melt my face when used in the sitting room if powered up on full blast as I did when first testing it. A little faffing with the thermostat, and reducing to power 2 instead of three and my face was saved. I’ve ended up moving it nearer the hall doorway to heat up the stairs as this is efficient enough to cope with that need too.
Timer is very simple to set up and I can heat the living room early enough to warm it for when I get up at 5.30. Powers off again at 6.20 when I leave then back on in time to rewarm our cold room for the Mrs when she gets up at 8.30. Lazy bitch .
It is almost redundant now the open fire is fixed but it’s nice to have it as a back up, and I still use it for the morning blasts before leaving for work.
It is quite expensive to run as are all electrical heaters, but if you want yer face melting this is the bit of kit you’re after.

Really pleased with this item, just the addition that was needed to back up our heating system in a particular cold spot. Fluctuations in temperature have completely stopped throughout the ground floor. The thermostat works extremely well, we dont use the timer so can’t comment. The even, constant temperature is more important in our specific situatio

We have only had this heater for a few days but so far we are pleased with it. The beat output is good, mind you it’s in the utility room so we only needed something to keep the chill away in the colder weather so it’s plenty good enough for that. It did have a little so of a small at first but it’s disapating now. All in all not bad for the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEDITED REVIEW: I had to return this as 2.5 months in it started creating a horrible chemical smell within seconds of turning it on. Had to to return and I was given a refund no problem. It was picked up by hermes but I admit it was a bit hetic packing it up securely having thrown the original packaging (2.5 months later to be fair) which is why this now 4 starts, not 5.

ORIGINAL HEADLINE: 2.5 months in, produces severe smell of burning plastic. Now unusable. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve used this moderately since the it’s purchase end of Feb 2020. Last week it started reproducing this smell like burnt plastic, which has got considerably worse since to the point now where I can’t use it. It stinks of plastic burning and chemicals within 30 seconds of turning it on. The smell is coming directly from behind the control panel where all the wires are hidden. I can’t use it anymore and has to be chucked. I get it was less then 60, but I’d expect to last a year at least.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersReally excellent for price. Instant heat, easy to move around room. Looks nice and not too big and bulky. I am going to buy another at a later date, to go in my bedroom, I haven’t had cause to use time yet, but just as easy to just switch on, as gets hot almost immediately. Definitely glad I bought it. Cheaper than using my storage heaters.

Can’t yet comment on energy efficiency but saved us from being really cold
Great that these have a timer as well

I wanted an inexpensive way too heat rooms as pre installed in my little piece of heaven is night storage heaters . Easy set up for it comes with clamps and castors which I found finger tight was enough. Simple to use timer and can be set to come on and off 24hrs a day. Once chosen room is at correct temperature it will keep it at that all day long . Very energy efficient and easy to manoeuvre around any home. I’m highly delighted with my pro Breeze.

Saves you money and keeps you warm.

This radiator isn’t too big but has excellent heat output. I am currently using as my cast iron radiator is being replaced in the kitchen. The timer is excellent ensuring g your are hearing your home in line with the gas central heating. Once I finish with this in the kitchen. I will move to my loft space. I’ve also just purchased another product from this manufacturer I was so impressed with the radiator.

The thermostat is good and the timer works very well, it does make a click every now and then but nothing to annoying, it is easy to manoeuvre so I do recommend this.

I use it maybe a total of 4-6 hours on the highest settings and it only uses 1 in electricity so my smart meter says.

Having recently moved into a property with a large, separate, utility room where I have had a toilet installed, I was advised to purchase a heater to ensure the pipes didn’t freeze. The reviews on this product were very good and I have to say I’m very pleased with it. I can’t report on how well it will do the job in very cold weather because, as yet, the winter has been quite mild. For the same reason, I can’t yet say how energy efficient the heater is. I will try to remember to report back when we’ve had some freezing conditions.

To make this long story short: a month ago we have moved into a new house. It had an older model of storage heaters mounted on the walls. Very quickly we’ve realized that the heat output lasts till about 6-7 afternoon, after that we were almost freezing till the late night when the heater turned back on again.

This is where the Breeze Heater comes in, costs me pretty much the same as these so called “energy efficient storage heaters”, but I have a warmth on demand. It’s surprisingly powerful, heats up our living room in less than 10 minutes on medium settings! I couldn’t recommend it enough, I will try to update the review a month from now. We’ll see how it lasts real winter, but so far it seems like a high quality product.

Have a static caravan and bought this heater to supplement my central heating as bottled gas is so expensive and took a long while to heat caravan especially during cold snaps. I am delighted with this heater gives us heat when we want it, timer allows us to set it to come on for an hour before we get up thermostat works brilliantly and being oil filled still give of heat when thermostat turns it off . This heater is also in my opinion very nice in appearance and compliments the decor of our caravan ,early days yet but on performance up to date I would have no hesitation in recommending this produc

I am particularly pleased with this product. I bought it initially for someone with Dementia so needed a product that would not be knocked over and that a variety of people entering the house (ie different carers) could use easily. It was easy to assemble, I am not technologically able and I am a senior citizen! Once I found how good it was I went on to buy three more including placing one in the Sunday School area of the Church I am part of.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst off I’d like to comment on the helpful, no hassle assistance received from this seller after my original purchase was damaged in transit. Great customer service, thanks! For all the heaters on the market I looked at this seemed a good option and I’m so pleased I bought it. It was easy to put together, the timer is a Godsend and it does a great job heating the bedroom rapidly. Also the thermostat allows control of the amount of heat required. Certainly beats having a night storage heater that is churning out heat when the room isn’t in use! I would recommend this heater to anyone who wants to warm up a room at specific times rather than wasting energy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a step up in quality. De Longhi sets the standard and cheaper rivals are not usually as good. But Pro Breeze reaches a new level with the solid structure and built in timer. The feet are simple to assemble although it is a bit fiddly to get the wire arches into place. My 2 heaters saved my life when the heating failed in a cold snap. And I have now bought 2 more so the whole house can be covered should the boiler conk out again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe had been faffing around for months trying to work out how to keep our kitchen warm for Christmas visitors, having tried numerous ways including a massive calor gas fire which was effective in sending out heat but bulky to store and heavy to move. The Pro Breeze has proved a major hit with me and the cat especially. Easily moved to colder rooms, the timer is a god-send, allowing us to walk into a warm kitchen in the morning knowing the heating hasn’t been on all night. The information on the advert is clear – and the length of the lead is noted (1.5) – so we were prepared for a possible need for extension leads etc. As it turns out it’s not been a bother, but probably important that any potential buyers take note. I do not see this as a negative, just something to be aware of when planning. Well worth the money.

Cheaper than getting in a plumber, and more adaptable as they can be on when the central heating is off. Having had issues with our radiators, I looked for an alternative. Whilst the electric heaters are ok, I felt they didn’t offer the same output as a normal radiator. It was only when someone recommended I try an oil filled radiator that I looked into what was available. The pro breeze was on offer so I took the plunge and bought one. The unit was easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. The heat that the unit throws out is second to none and so impressed was I that I’ve bought a further three units to dot around the house.

Very pleased with this. Checked reviews and most heaters like this had mixed reviews. But I’m glad I went with the probreeze. Heats my orangerie very nicely room size 4 x 4.5m. Colour is not white, more like a stone colour but that’s good for me. Yes it does click a bit when heating up but I’d imagine that’s standard with all metal heaters when they are warming and cooling. Only grumble is instructions for assembling wheels not great but it’s simple enough to figure it out. All in all I am very satisfied with my heater and it was alot cheaper than some other brands. This does the same thing, looks good, sturdy and just what i wanted.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOrdered one of these as I live in a house with storage heaters and was fed up with not being warm when I chose to be and also the astronomical winter electricity bills. I have a very large lounge which is open plan to the upstairs and landing, and this heater has heated all of that space beautifully. I’m so impressed, that I’ve just purchased a 2nd one for my also very large kitchen/dining room, and again, it’s doing the job superbly. On the recent milder weather of the past couple of weeks, I didn’t need to use it at all, so didn’t which isn’t an option with storage heaters if you have a milder day and don’t need the heat. I have no idea of the running costs yet, but considering my last year winter bills were consistently 200 + per MONTH! Yes, per MONTH! I fail to see that these will cost as much to run given that we can turn them of, on and down as and when we choose.

Golden Review Award: 74 From Our UsersHaving recently moved my two guinea pigs indoors for the winter, I needed a way to keep the outbuilding (a summer house converted into an office) warm. I had been using a 1KW oil heater but it took ages to heat up and was too small for the space so I ordered this heater from Amazon having read some of the other reviews.

I’m very happy to say that this heater (which admittedly is 2.5 times more powerful than the old one) heats up in a fraction of the time and retains heat very well. I am using a smart plug with thermostat to control the heater and it comes on for just five minutes at a time when the temperature drops below 18oC and turns off when the temperature is grater than 18.5oC – in reality (due to the size of the room and the location of the temperature probe) the temperature reaches around 22oC before it turns off, but that is still a 4oC raise in temperature in just over five minutes.

The heater is coming on once to twice every two hours for just five minutes a time – so the combination of insulation in the summer house, and the efficiency/heat retention of the heater means the heat loss over the two hour period is around 4oC which I think is excellent. At current electricity rates, this is working out at around 45p per day (assuming one five minute cycle 12 times a day, or every 2 hours).

For those less inclined to use smart devices to control the heater, it comes with builtin controls and an analog timer switch for doing so but as I am not using them, I cannot comment on them (I leave the heater permanently on and on full power and let the smart plug do the switching).

Golden Review Award: 73 From Our UsersHaving recently moved my two guinea pigs indoors for the winter, I needed a way to keep the outbuilding (a summer house converted into an office) warm.

The radiator arrived on time, it was very simple to assemble, and it looks very contemporary, finished in a soft grey colour. To be fair it is to early to judge how efficient it will be, as l have purchased this as a backup for my central heating as last year it failed to cope well in our hall.
Having said all of that, I see only a positive outcome.
I have now purchased a second radiator to complete the story and I am very pleased with the result.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersMy radiators take a while to warm up and have stopped working a few times so I was looking for something like this as I have had a few in the past and just wanted something that was going to warm up the room quickly especially in the winter and to act as a back up if my heating system breaks down, I had a good look on Amazon first and there were quite a few to choose from but the Pro Breeze 2500W had the best reviews so I decided to order this one, it arrived really quick and was well packaged , easy to assemble and simple to use, plug in, turn the top dial between Low and High, the middle dial has Three different heat settings and the bottom dial is a thermostat and timer. It is a great and sturdy radiator and warms the room in minutes, I am particular pleased with the safety feature and am really happy with my choice.

Golden Review Award: 214 From Our UsersJust ordered a second as this one has been going for around a month on the integrated timer and is more than adequate. Our house has ridiculously expensive electric storage heaters which were costing too much and hardly heating the house. This winter we will use just plug in oil heaters and see how we go. So far we used it on lowest setting out of three and it nicely warmed up our top landing and bathroom. It clicks occasionally when turning on and off but that doesn’t bother me. Good value for money and eventually with one in each room by winter we will be warmer than last year!
Update – now in March and been using three of these all winter. Had all on number 1 and mid way on the temp dial. Living room, hallway and bedroom. Kept our house really warm and had them all on 24/7. Costs us the same as using the storage heaters which warmed the house for a few hours then were freezing cold after a while. Still very happy.
**UPDATE Oct 2019** still going good, still happy. Value for money.
**UPDATE Sept 2021** still happy! In use all the time!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersI love it! I just moved to a place without a central heating where only electric fan radiators were supplied. It felt really cold even when using two of those and after switching them off, it was getting freezing immediately. I had this Pro Breeze radiator only since two days but the difference is huge! Heats up the place really quickly, holds up the heat after it switches off and has a timer which is extremely useful. The wheels were a bit tricky to put on and the instructions were not detailed enough therefore there is 4 stars, however, I am very happy with it so far!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersIt arrived on time and was easy to install the wheels. First couple of hours, the smell was unbearable and I was worried that maybe something was wrong with it, but later on, the smell gone. This is our second week of using it. It has different levels and the timer. Our bedroom radiator broke down and we have three big double windows, the heater is keeping us warm.
Very pleased with the purchase. Go for it.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersWe bought two of these little darlings following the breakdown of the central heating. They arrived the day after the catastrophe and warmed the house quickly and efficiently, even blending with the decor. Ten days on, in spite of numerous visits from the gas engineer, we are still using them to keep our home toasty warm..toasty from the moment we arrive due to the excellent timers. Thank you!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought this after much research to heat our apartment in Spain effectively during the winter months- yeah nowhere near as cold as here but necessary to keep the nip out of the air activated by marble floor – just the job!!!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought this as a Xmas present for my wife who works home. She spends the day mostly in her office and rather than heating the whole house up she leaves heating off. I felt bad and bought her this. She is over the moon. It was on for 15 mins and she was very warm already. Seems efficient enough. It has thermostat so once it’s up to the right temperature you can keep it at that temp. By turning the thermostat till it clicks and then it holds it to that temperature. Very impressed and easy to set up.
