Bought this LED mask about 3 weeks ago for my teenage daughter (acne) and myself (pigmentation) to use. So far the results have been great for both of us.
Acne – My daughter uses it almost daily on cyan and red settings and her face has cleared up so much! I didn’t know how to help her with her skin (she’s already using 2 creams for acne prescribed by the GP, which were making little difference, the next step would be oral antibiotics or the pill, neither of which I’m so keen on), but after I read an article about LED therapy, I was happy to give this a go as LED treatment does not harm the skin in any way and in fact it supposedly even supplements and increases efficiency of the retinoid cream that my daughter uses.
Pigmentation – I have used the mask about 4 times so far, and after the first 3 uses there was a great reduction in pigmentation on my face.
The mask comes in a box that is great for storing the mask and includes a leaflet setting out light wave lengths for different light settings/colours and their uses.
The best thing, for the price it saves a fortune vs going to the salon for treatments. And as my daughter said, maybe the salon LED machines are more powerful but you can only use them every couple of weeks at most, whereas this little mask you can use every day 🙂

Ho acquistato questa maschera a Led, non credevo al potere delle luci, invece mi sono ricreduta usandola.
Mi attenua rossori da dermatite, mi sembra anche di avere un aspetto piu radioso dopo l ‘ utilizzo da un buon effetto anti-invecchiamento usando il gel compreso. Sulle couperose invece non vedo risultati. Per ovviare ai segni che tende a lasciare sul naso ho messo sugli occhi due dischetti di cotone. Consiglio a tutti.

I love this! The first two weeks I used it for 15-20 min every day, cause I heard that it’s good to use it more often in the beginning. I still use it as long as then, but now maybe 3-4 times a week, and I can really see the difference in my skin. I’ve used only the red and the blue colour for now, but I plan to use some of the others as well as I get more used to the facials and learn more about what my skin really needs.

All in all an amazing product, works for pretty much everyone since you can choose the colour treatment that suits your own skin type. I really recommend this!

I have used this mask a few times and I think skin looked better although still early days the only thing is it is not very comfortable and it dried out my eyelids to the point I have to put a barrier cream on my eyelids, maybe should have provided glasses but okay product that I will continue to use and hope it works miracles

Really improved my skin tone. Easy to fit in around work/life etc. Pretty comfortable.

I am not sure if this mask can enhance aging lines, but it does help with acne.

I was going to buy one of these devices which was 4 times the price of this, but having read the reviews selected this one. Over a two week period it has had an amazing result with much plumper skin. With using, I use it laying down because I couldn’t get on with the head strap, but it works for me as I use it as relaxation time. Great product, great service, great price point. There is also a You Tube video on this product which is very helpful. Only wish is I had realised there was a version that treats the neck as well as the face.

I got a lot skin discoloration after a sunny holiday. I want to see if this mask really works so I didn’t change my skin routine apart from using this mask 20-30 minutes everyday for exactly one month. My pigmentation is a lot lighter but it won’t get rid of them completely. I think it does work, just not a miracle though.

I use this to help with anti ageing and hyperpigmentation and so far am very happy with the results. So happy with my purchase

Variety of color options available. Easy to use. A little hard to fit on my face as the mask is too big. I would prefer if there’s an option for different colors to use in one session instead of one color only per session. It would reduce the time of waiting for each color session to finish. Been using it for 3 weeks now my skin is glowing a little bit. Had some few breakouts but I’m hoping it will clear soon using this.

Both myself and my husband use this mask and the difference it’s made is very noticeable. Our skin in tighter and feels smoother and we wouldn’t be without it. We also had a small issue where we had to contact customer services and their support, help and advice was over any expectation we had so thank you!!!

I have the mask for 10 days now and I use yellow light for my rosacea, so far so good , I can see some improvement on my skin. Hope for better results with time. But I find the manual very ”poor” , I had many questions and I had to email the company for answers…

Great product, it’s very good for acne problems of just hormonal pimples. I do see a difference on my skin texture since I started using this machine in purple and blue lights. I’m not sure about getting rid of fine lines because I haven’t used red lighting as much. But it does work to clear your skin and improve it. I’ve been using it since September 2018 at least 3 days a week for 15 min. First 6 weeks can be use 4 times a week 20min. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars it’s because I haven’t seen much improvement on fine lines yet.

I heard LED mask is good for the face, so i got this mainly because i have bad acne and blemishes. I’ve been using it now for 3 days, i do notice the lines on my face diminishing. I guess it takes a little more time maybe a week, to see improvements on my acne, but i do know it helps reduce inflammation.

This is good , but heavy , dont put strap on , as i did first couple of times , really hurt my eye sockets , without strap , lying down its fine

So pleased I bought this! Within just a few days I was seeing results such as smoother more glowy skin. I’ve been using for a month now and I can’t believe the change in my skin! I have had no new breakouts and the two I had before using the mask healed much quicker than they usually would. I do 15 mins blue then 15 mins red on clean dry skin and then I moisturise afterwards, I will use this forever! I used this every night for the first 2 weeks but recently been ad hoc with use and still seeing amazing results.

A bit heavy across the eyes – otherwise lovely, versatile beautygadge

I mostly use the blue light, it does help reduce some of the spots on my face. The red light makes my skin oily for some reason. Overall happy with this mask

Looks great, arrived promptly. Easy to follow instructions. I am 40 and suffer mild acne, and block pores, which is hormonal and can flare up when under stress. I have. Course of antibiotics thought l’d give this colour photon mask ago 1st. Will update in 4 weeks, will be using the blue and cyan colours .

I went to an expensive salon and paid 45 for a 45 min treatment. My skin felt wonderful, clear, bright, soft. But the cost is insane so I thought I try this product. In the salon they used red, blue and white light. I decided to use mostly blue – to treat my acne and red to prevent wrinkles and assist the healing as my spots was inflamed and irritated. I noticed a difference after the first try. Just like in the salon. Maybe the light is not as strong or deep penetrating as in the salon, but I can use this a lot more frequently. I try to use it daily. This work. It’s all I can say. Together with using vitamin C serum and biotin and vitamin D supplements, this has changed the way I looked completely. A young guy even gave me his phone number on a train last week! I was very flattered…hahaha! But happily married so turned him down.
I just feel good. Maybe it is psychological like many claim, I don’t care. I see results and feel amassing. Stop wasting money at salon’s!

I used to get regular facials, but now I am maternity leave, I am looking for ways to save money but also treat myself. For the price of 2 or 3 facials, I thought I would take the plunge and buy this product. Despite all the positive reviews of this product, I still wasn’t 100% convinced that this would be a wise investment… I wouldn’t have been more wrong. After 3 uses, my skin felt tighter and I started getting comments on how I was looking glowing.

To give you a bit of information on my skin: I am 33, a non-smoker, but I had terrible cystic acne as a teenager and used to be a sun worshiper. I still get hormonal spots, and find that they leave marks on my skin for weeks (if not months) after they have gone. I have a few fine lines on my forehead.

I have used this product as follows: 10 minutes on the red setting, 10 minutes on the blue setting and 10 minutes on the green setting (back to back), 3 times a week. I have done this for 5 weeks. I do this in front of the TV. The mask is quite heavy, so I recline as much as I can. Otherwise it is quite a soothing feeling. If you are like me and enjoy the odd drink, you can still sip through the mouth hole with a bendy straw 🙂

So, the results: an enhanced overall glow, skin feels a bit tighter, spots have reduced by 80% (still get one or two a month but they go away much quicker), spot scars are finally fading, fine lines have definitely reduced.

I am so pleased with this purchase… even once I am back on my full salary, I won’t go back to getting facials done at a salon, I will be sticking with the mask.

I originally had this done at a salon and saw some results. I did some research and found some very positive reviews about this mask, so I decided to give it a try. The price is not prohibitive and the mask has everything you need. There is some science behind and success with the photon mask, I am looking forward to even better results.

I was so skeptical of this, but have had some (quite expensive) LED treatments in salons with great results.
I decided to give this a go after reading some independent reviews of this exact product from this company. The company website actually has some legitimate reviews on its products, so I could see that real people were buying, using, and liking what they got.
I have been using this for about 5 weeks now and the improvement in my skin is spectacular. I suffer from highly sebaceous skin and some hormonal cystic acne. While this cannot control my hormones to stop the breakouts, it does keep the massive spots from becoming big, painful, and inflamed. As soon as I feel one coming I use this mask on blue (to apparently kill the acne bacteria) , and then on red (to help with swelling and inflammation). I believe it works for some superficial acne as well, although some will head up quickly and some will never head -which is great because it keeps me from picking at the spot.
Some added bonuses include the hair around my face and eyebrows growing faster and thicker than usual. Even the blonde peach fuzz on my face has gotten thicker, which I suppose isn’t the greatest look, but it shows that it is stimulating the hair follicles. Another great thing is that my wrinkles, pore size, and old acne scars have nearly disappeared. There is a huge difference around my eyes, forehead, and smile lines. From someone in their mid 30s who suffers from acne and wrinkles, this product has actually improved my quality of life because it knocks down the time that i would suffer from a breakout, and gives my skin a kind of porcelain look.
The cons include poor grammatical and spelling mistakes on the box, but who really cares about this if the product actually works. The leaflet inside is slightly better. If i wiggle the control box during use, it sometimes cuts off but always turns back on, so this could be an issue in the future if it is faulty so I am hoping the company will replace it if it becomes a problem. Another thing is that it is not the most comfortable thing to wear but you will figure out the best way to prop it on. The rubber around the eyes (this must be there to protect the eyes) will leave marks, but of course this goes after a while.
There are loads of scientific studies (just google it) on the effects of photon therapy. In Eastern cultures they use red light therapy for many reasons, including wound healing and energy therapy. Some salon owners who have invested heavily in an expensive mask or light therapy module may tell you that it has to be a very high frequency for it to work, but if you look at the science you’ll see that any wave length will do something. I believe that with continued use this shows amazing results.
I am actually quite surprised that I could buy such an affordable photontherapy mask on amazon, and feel that photon therapy is about to become a booming business.
I have seen some negative reviews, but I think people need to educate themselves on their own causes of acne. This is definitely a great tool to have to control imminent breakouts and has the added bonus of making skin look younger and more rejuvenated. People have actually noticed an improvement in my skin and have asked if I’ve had work!
