This machine is a wonderful little piece of equipment. It is so easy to use, with just a timer dial. You can make all types of kebabs, sheesh and even shawarma. I’ve tried making dinner on it too, and though no fault of the machine, my end product was a bit coarser than expected. This was due to less fat, but finding an authentic recipe on the net is hard.
However, I cannot fault the machine and am now searching for the perfect recipe for a proper donner!
Great flavour cooked chicken perfectly but cleaning was hard to get in at the back where the stainless steel is the glass is ok to clean so any tips to clean the back where the element is would be helpful

Did a chicken kebab style meal and it worked perfect – the size made sure I could cook enough for the whole family and the heat made sure it no time at all to cook it all. For the money it was just what I wanted
Very easy yo put a chicken in it but I would say to wrap it up with string, as the legs catch the door and open it.
With a kabab, I would say also to make it the day before so it does not fall apart the grill.
Other than that. It is a good machine for your kitchen.
Only had it week and already enjoy a diner, shawarma and a roast chicken. All cooked to perfection. Simply easy to use and clean.

My wife cooked a fairly big chicken in it.
Wasn’t confident it would cook fully in one cycle of the timer.
Pleasantly surprised that it cooked in about 1 hour 20 minutes.

The simplicity of this machine is great, easy to use and clean. The cooking of meats is a bit of a learning curve. You definitely need to acquire a meat thermometer. I have found a 1.2kg chicken, wings and leg’s correctly tied back takes approximately 1 hour 5 minutes to achieve the correct internal temperature. It does cook delicious chicken, pork, and donner meat. I feel however the machine could be improved if you had control over the temperature setting? The heating element just really switches itself on and off throughout the cooking process. You cannot actually set the temperature. This can result in burning on the outside and under cooking in the middle. I have found through experimenting, that obviously the bigger the gap between the element and the meat to be cooked, the better the outcome, so I recommend don’t go too large. I would definitely recommend, great value for money.
We have done a few things in it now. First couple of times we ended up overcooking because it cooked quicker than expected. Now we’ve gotten used to it, the meat comes out lovely every time.
This is a Christmas present therefore I am unable to comment on the performance. On looks it is very smart .

I would highly recommend this it cooks quickly as you can see in the video I made a chicken pork and lamb kebab i put the timer on 30 minutes and sliced the cooked bit off and set it again for another 30 minutes and so on the meat was so juicy and it’s easy to clean ive even done a beef joint in it I love i

Fantastic product, fast delivery, easy to set up and clean. Cooks the food perfectly and tastes great. Only had it a week and used it 3 times already, first time for a whole chicken, 2 pork on skewers then kebab meat. Love it, would recommend

Perfect thing to use .Just put any tipe of meat inside of this cooker and foget about it on an hour as minimum…
The first one I bought was missing some of the accessories and the heat element was loose with one of the fixings broken. But did order a replacement and so far so good and had used it for a lot of cooking.

Works as it says cooks food really good, would recommend a cooking tempreture thermometer though to ensure meat is cooked. Have used this to cook whole chicken, gammon joints, pork joints and chicken kebabs all came out really lovely

This is a replacement for the last one that wore out after about 4 years, these are great for cooking meats, especially whole chicken as the meat stays more moist that in a traditional oven, cooks joints quickly and easily with very little mess, easy to clean afterwards and the meat is delicious

Dint know how people can give bad reviews. Excellent piece of kit. 1.9kg chiken cooked for 1hr 20m basted twice and came out juicy as. Also cooked marinaded chiken skewers with veg and also came out perfect.
We read some reviews say meat wasn’t cooked. We put grill on for an Hour at 30 mins we turned the chicken on skrewer using tongs we did this every 30 mins for an hour and half then we put a food thermometer into the skewers when it read the allotted time in booklet we took the skewers out of grill and craved
Lovely home made kebabs which means half the fat. would recommend this item
It does not have various settings , but only a times and that was perfect for us , we also proved the met with a thermometer and ensured this is cooked through , the meat was succulent and full of flavour
The cleaning was super easy , we removed the drip tray that was almost full, this collected everything into it , no spills, just has to wipe the glass while this was still hot , we had the oven gloves on.
I love it meat is so tender and tastes lovely

Cleaning is a problem at the back of the cooking area because the sliding door does not come out so cleaning the groove where the door sits is awkward at the back.

So far I have used it for Chicken Kebabs on skewers and a Donner Kebab (recipe included in box). Could do with cooking instructions for basic recipes and putting grill together but easy enough to work out once you start using it.
brought for my mum as hers was falling apart amd she absolutly loves it. the chicke comes out nice and juicey. the kebab skewers the same. its abit fiddly to het the chicken to stay on the stick but once mastered not a.problem. would defo reccomend. it doesnt take long to cook a chicken eithe

Had to send it back as the element stopped heating up after we’d had it for a month. Spoke to Amazon & they are in the process of refunding my money. Hubby wants another one as they are fantastic when it works
Brilliant fun way of bringing the family together around the table. I used pre seasoned chicken flats from M&S some peppers and tomato’s. Got some nice salad and Pittas and it was genuinely tastier and more enjoyable than our local Kebab shop who make really good ones! Also done a large 4 person Chicken on it. Basted with butter/paprika and garlic powder after 45 mins. Cooked for two hours. Crispy, tender and juicy. Genuinely very good! Combine on your table with a Fondue set and you e the perfect centre piece for a lads/kids/girls night in!
Nothing special about it, no fancy bells or whistles, but it’s done a lovely job cooking a small-medium sized chicken. Does it in 1hr but recommend it for 80 mins for that extra crisp. Slap some seasoning on like salt and pepper or basil, garlic salt etc for extra flavour.
Brilliant product, easy to use and clean. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
Firstly set about using for chicken kebabs and the taste was great.not dry at all.
Then we moved on to the kebab fakeaway and it was delicious. The booklet gives you this easy peasy recipe and similar to the one i use for slimming world.
With the ingredients and the mince its only then a 40 minutes cook. Everyone was so chuffed.
Cleaning is simple and the drip tray is a great help.

What a great gadget this is. Cookes Donner kebab for guests. Which was brill and a novelty. I have also cooked a large chicken but I know that the extra large will also fit in. This item will not disappoint!!

Larger than expected but we use this in our garage as it is too tall to fit on kitchen work top.
Bit fiddly to fit the skewer though the chicKen but having said that a chicken cooks much quicker and tastes much better than cooked in a conventional oven.

This is the best kitchen gadget ive bought, if you have room it would look good just left on your counter but i tuck mine away in a cupboard. Surprisingly easy to clean and the food cooked on it is just heavenly!
The sliding glass cover makes it safer than other brands who have an open heat source.

I wouldn’t do the individual kebabs in this as the separate skewers don’t rotate. Gyros and large kebabs though are excelle

My husband is telling everyone it was the best Christmas present ever! We have so far cooked a whole chicken, piece of beef and made homemade slimming world friendly Donner kebab, all delicious. Made both boxing Day and new years eve meals hassle free.
I was skeptical about buying this as there is no way to adjust the temperature. However after cooking almost a dozen birds of various sizes it cooks absolutely perfectly every single time.
Pro’s:
– Cooks chicken to restaurant quality every time.
– zero stress, just rub bird with spice and oil and wait for the timer to ding.
Cons:
-A little difficult to clean the backs of the sliding doors.

Bought this as a Xmas present to myself and I love it. Will never buy kebabs from a shop again, now I have this beauty at home. Cooks quick and efficiently, awesome flavours and easy to clean.
Love this only done doner kebab so far but massively impresd was unsure at first but glad I bought it cooks well and even like the door that slides around keeps all the fat spitting every were and moisture inside.would like to see maybe some kind of control for heat in the future. Gave 3 stars for flavour only because I flavour my meat this just cooks it ?.OVERALL LOVEING IT

I did use it many times and the result was good, but i dont see any need for the glass door, and i wish it had variable heating temperature.

Seems to be hotter at the top when cooking. If you fill the skewers up with meat, then they char at the top first! Makes sense to me!
I have had a rotisserie years ago and loved it. This one is great and is used almost every day. Very easy to use and the flavour and texture of the meat is so succulent! Won’t be without one again.
Took about 1hr 15mins.
Only thing I’d have liked is a temperature switch but that isn’t 100% needed

I have cooked Donner, chicken, gyros and scewer kebabs and they have all been fantastic.
If I could change one thing it would be to be able to stop it running before the timer finished when required.
The little orange light bulb has fallen out however but no big deal
If you love cooking you will love this, I cooked a large duck in it and it was awesome! It would be a good idea to get some butchers string and tie up the duck/chicken etc, so the legs and wings remain tight to the body, and don’t catch the element while rotating.
Very easy to clean and looks great in my kitchen.
Will use this alot in the garden summer time.
