I needed to brighten up an already reasonably well-lit scene, and the lights worked very well for that purpose.
Possible point of improvement: In the kit that I got (two lights with stands and bag), the zipper of the packing case tends to get caught in the foam casing. Might just be my kit, thought. If you pull the zip outwards when closing up the bag, it’s OK, but if you just close it up without remembering to pull the zip outwards, the zipper tends to get caught in the foam. Over time I expect the situation to deteriorate unless I start to remember the correct way of closing up the carrying case.
material of very good quality, the luminosity controls are very sensitive(Which is good), the battery last for a bit more than one hour using full power, but if you need more than that you can still use it while plugged in a power source. bonus: Everything came well packed in a nice case.
I’m very satisfied
I set these up so quickly and easily. The poles were a little stiff to start off with, but the stands sit really nicely. Strong and stable enough for you to move around and shoot without worrying about them tipping over if you fart.
Lights are bright. Good range of temperature and easy to use display.
I’ve used many different lights on multiple shoots over the years and for this price you can’t go wrong. Worth spending a little bit more than other options on Amazon to get the battery pack option that these are.
For the pride these lights offer so much, complete accurate digital adjustment of brightness and colour means I can accurately have all lights on the same setting easily.
The tripods are stable and good quality, all goes into the carrier bag easily for transport.
After using these I bought a smaller version for a hair light which again I’m happy with.
Used for my art studio. The wireless use allows easy use anywhere in the studio. Whether that’s painting or displaying. The Brightness and temperature control allows me display my work based on home lighting rather than studio brightness to give customers a good idea how a piece may look in there own home.
I have to say that I’m more than impressed with these lights not only are they bright with a number of dedicated colour frequencies but there is also a battery inside the units so you don’t always need dedicated power. The stands are adequate for the job but the lights for the price are great value for money. The unit voltage is 15v with a clear display on the rear of the unit. As I’ve been making videos and live steaming on YouTube these will certainly be an assis
Had these on a interview style video shoot as fill lights and they worked very well. They are not the brightest but offer a good level of light to lower your ISO and get better results. Colour range is good. They are the brightest with the temp set to 4300k which is when all the LED’s are illuminated fully. Above or below you do see the brightness drop as the LED’s are reduced. No need for diffusers as the incorporated front panel does an excellent job at producing a defused light. Not tested battery life yet but it does make them very versatile. Tripods are OK, fairly sturdy but they can topple if a cable get snagged – this happened with me and I’m glad to say they are robust enough to withstand a knock. Included carry case is very good and keeps everything nicely together.
Amazing lighting kit. It is so easy to set up. iI arrived and it took me only 5 mins to start using it.
I needed to have lights pointing down at my desk for video tutorials and product photos. Now with this set it doesn’t matter if it’s a rainy day, I can work anytime! I like that I can point the lights at any angle and very quickly change the position.

Light itself is very bright and has wide range of colour temperature. When you set up both lights you have your very own studio. Stands are tall and height is easy to adjust. They can be fold in small space when not in use.
All in all excellent product. Strongly recommend. I have also smaller version of Raleno LED light and both items are great quality.

These lights are amazing. Had a single light gifted to me a couple of weeks ago and decided to buy this set as well. The bag is smaller than expected, everything is neatly stowed away inside with protective material. The tripods are great, they actually go quite high up which I didn’t originally realise. The lights are quite powerful and come with different setting controls so that you can adjust accordingly. You can adjust brightness and warmth. We turned off all the lights in the living room, to test out the brightness, like I said…amazing! The panels aren’t that big, but they are powerful! These were bought so that I could create instagram content and the area of the living room I use can get a bit dark and shadowy if the weather is a dull outside. Before the lights, my leggings seemed really dark all the time, but now you can see the bright blue or purple, etc. The lights have really helped with showcasing colours also. Really happy and really recommend!

Always a gamble buying stuff you can’t see first hand. I needed a lightweight lighting kit for a desktop job and after much research went with these, other than the slightly cheaper options. I’m glad I did. Beautifully packed, undamaged and pleasantly surprised by the build quality. I particularly like the LCD readouts on the back of each light pad (arrived fully charged), and the pads give a versatile light, in both terms of strength and colour hue. Another really useful feature is the way you can use the lights off power – that is, the inbuilt battery means take it outside, or anywhere, with no trailing leads to worry about. And, you can still use them even when charging.
These aren’t heavy duty studio lights, they’re ideal for amateur, semi-pro and even pro users. Definitely a good purchase and one I’ll be using again and again when I need that extra light.

I don’t have anything to compare to since this is my first time buying photo lights, but I can’t imagine this being much better for the price.
You get two roughly A4 sized battery powered lights, two UK plug chargers, and two nice stands with a sort of matte anodised aluminium finish and plastic fittings that feel robust. Oh and it all comes in a case that holds everything neatly and compactly for travel or storage.
The Ralenos produce a lovely diffuse light with adjustable brightness and colour temperature, and they’re battery powered so you don’t need to be tethered to the wall. There’s also a display on the back showing brightness, colour temp, and battery level. The only thing more you might want is a remote control which honestly isn’t that big of a deal.
Go ahead and buy!
I am rating the Raleno 2 pack 384 LED system with stands as 5 stars. To summarise the reasons:
1. Items are conveniently and neatly stored in the elegant carry case. Makes for good storage when not in use and easy to transport.
2. The lights as well as the stands feels and looks like high quality.
3. The lcd display on the back of the lights are very useful and increases the impression of quality. The controls together with this information panels makes for easy and practical use
4. The two tripods are of high quality and spans a huge height range.
I have not yet used the lights for photography so cannot comment on that. For video lighting it worked very well. So far I have used the lights on the warmest setting but can see the huge benefit of being able to go all the way up on the colour scale. In terms of intensity I have used the lights from 10% all the way to 100% without experiencing any flicker. Excellent control over intensity is extremely useful.
Overall I can recommend for anyone looking for a high quality versatile lighting solution.
Excellent product does exactly what I want. Only downside is that you can’t tilt the lights up or down. I have used for shooting indoor videos with excellent results.

Omg where to even start… first of all lights are very powerful, really bright and the battery lasts for a really long time. They are not heavy at all but the build is a very good, solid quality so if you are looking for something portable, this is your go to… secondly they are easy to operate, learning how to use them took me seconds and the colour temperature range is really impressive. Thirdly these lights were a lifesaver over weekend when we had a power cut, we only had one of them that was charged up and it managed to light up the whole room at pretty much 6 percent of its power and the battery lasted for absolute hours we have been using it for 2 days until the issue was fixed and it only took like a bar off the battery! I’m really impressed and will be looking into buying more Raleno products in the future!
Really so happy with this, I think it’s great value for two lights with tripods and a carry case.
The brightness is fantastic as is the temperature control, I haven’t used them yet for my product photography but I can already see they’re better and more versatile than my old ones so I’m certain they’re fit for their purpose.
Item arrived well packaged in purpose built light weight nylon carry case with basic foam interior to protect the contents. The light panels are bright and very easy to use with separate controls for brightness and bi-colour temperature. An easy to read backlit display shows percentage brightness and colour temperature which makes this extremely quick to set up and use. The in-built battery is a great addition and keeps the profile slim. A battery charger for each panel is included and charges the panel quickly. It is the ‘old style’ type charger (not USB) which are quite bulky but the benefit is that the panels can both be powered from the mains when in use removing the worry of the battery exhausting during long shoots.
The panels have a frosted white light surface with no LED pinpoints visible when on or off and gives a great diffused light which is great. I plan to use these as a key (front light) and fill-in side light as I don’t have room for a large soft-box in the small space I am using for youtube videos. Initial results suggest this will work well if panels are kept around 1m from subject which is expected for this sort of panel (when using as a main light) and it’s great not to require additional diffusion which would add to bulk and complexity. Panels will also be great to provide additional light when filming on location when internal battery will really help keep everything quick and simple.
The kit includes two light stands which are budget but do the job – I was not expecting much at this price and personally use existing mini tripods with the panels on the desktop for studio use. The light panels and made of plastic but feel very solid and well put-together.
All in all highly recommended for the price and I will add to this review based on longer term use.
Feels like quality – the lights are very bright but the dimmer function is very useful – case is good – they last a long time on charge also – all in all a quality bit of kit and worth the money for my home studio

I got this gift from my boyfriend for Christmas, and cannot be happier, very easy to use, I tried to charge the battery as well and it took me only 15 or 20 minutes. Here are the pictures without and with the light I took by my mobile phone.
Had them now for a few months and still impressed . They give out a bright , even diffused light , the colour balance control is great for matching other lights in room and the batteries mean I can use them without cables trailing everywhere .
The product appears to be a very good quality, the two tripods are great and the light panels decent. However within a couple of hours of first use one of the light panels started to flicker and was no use at all. I understand that these things happen sometimes, so am not too disappointed.
I have contacted the seller and depending upon their speed and satisfaction of response I will update this review to reflect how well things turn out and can review the product on its merits when it functions correctly.
UPDATE: I have been in touch with RaLeno customer service and they have immediately sent me a replacement light panel. Yet to receive it yet but delighted with their customer service so far.

The quality and adjustability of light from these units is of a level I only thought possible by adding a zero to the end of the price.
I bought these to upgrade an LED video light (from another manufacturer) which I have been using for a few years. I have a small music studio, and regularly record videos to put on YouTube or to collaborate with other musicians. Since starting to use the RALENO LED Video Lighting Kits, the picture quality of these videos has leapt from amateur to professional, not to mention a vast reduction in time spent making adjustments in post-production.
These units are well made, compact, and the built-in battery is a huge bonus. The adjustable colour temperature is excellent. A definite 5 star recommendation from me – unbelievable quality at this price point.
Very pleased with these overall. Unsure and took the gamble and it’s paid off really well. We do interviews all the time and the lighting is so good.
I do lots of recipe videos from my kitchen, so i needed something that’s a professional light, yet is sturdy and not too big. Also having a battery is really useful because I don’t want to trip over cables all the time. These fit the bill, much better than my huge lightbox. They are small, yet they feel like they are a much wider light source. Super easy to use as well and they charge quickly too. Very impressed, especially for the price!
These light panels are small but quite brilliant. They’re obviously not going to supplement lights that are 10x the price of them but they come close. They’re not as bright as some others but this really isn’t going to be noticed for most uses and you could use them perfectly fine for photography and lighting videos.
For me they work great as backlights, fill lights and are incredibly useful to have on hand for placing somewhere you need a little extra light. They can also have gels added to them (an RGBWW version would be welcome). If you’re wanting to light a large area, two of these won’t do it but you could always get more.
The light stands are quite light so would need to be weighed down as they also don’t spread much, which could be useful where you’re working with less floor space. They’re also not as tall as your industry standard ones but are fine for lighting as long as not from above, they’re also fine once the lights are on as this adds height.
The adjustability in colour temperature and brightness is very useful to have for small shadows you want to subtly eliminate. You can also buy these panels individually so I did that too and put another on my standard stand, you’ll notice the height difference. The stands that come with these are light, quite bulky, slightly wobbly at their full height and a bit stiff but will be fine for most people. I did use a spare panel to light the images in this review. The threads are standard and come with shoe mounts for angling that won’t come out of place because they line up which is great but you can just as well screw them to a threaded light stand and use them that way too. The built in battery lasts quite well and it can be used on AC but support for other batteries would be useful to stop the light becoming redundant or from needing to be switched out.
Overall though, for the price these are excellent value. The light stands are effectively a free bonus. If you’re buying for the panels and want a cheap way to start and lights that can work as well alongside panels that are over 1,000 you’re in luck.
Super happy with this product! Arrived well before it’s estimated delivery date and it was packaged very securely and nicely. The lights themselves come in a bag which is very useful for storage. As for the lights themselves, after hours of search online for the perfect lights for filming YouTube videos, I decided to give these a go and have not been disappointed. Very easy to change temperature and adjust lighting accordingly. Brightens up the rooms very well and easy to use. All in all very happy and would recommend!
Well made soft lighting kit all in a neat carry case. Fully charged will last over 2 hours continuous. LCD screen on the back of the panels show brightness, degrees Kelvin and battery status. Stands go to a good height and if you need to tilt the light there is a neat little device to fit on the stand which also serves as a hot shoe camera mount. All very impressive. Good value for your money
Vendor was nice enough to reach out for replacement units, and the new panels are working as intended. One of the reason I picked these panels over the other similar product is the fact that it has integrated batteries and it does what the description said. It is a decent entry level setup for light photo/video work without damaging your wallet too much.
One star removed just because of the hassle with the first faulty unit, but nice customer services definitely.

At first seems like a decent entry light for simple applications, came with good packaging and nice carrying case.
Everything seems fine for a while, came slightly charged, been using for a little while without problem.
However problems starts as soon as I have my first charge, not to mention battery seems to be taking forever to fully charge, the LED panel started showing faults as well. Not only is the panel not completing charge despite been charging for more than 8 hours, and the LED panel will not show up any information about battery state, brightness or colour temp, at times will not even lit up.
The second panel did exactly the same and LED panel faulted after first charge as well, all indicators disappeared and stopped charging when it started to heat up also.
The panel still lights up though but just cannot find out which setting it is set as, however I am doubting how long this will continue to work. Will be returning due to poor quality control.
This is such a great lighting package. I ordered this to help with really bad lighting conditions for both video calls and photography. To say I’m impressed is an understatement! Great build quality, precise colour and brightness control. The system comes in a carry bag with is a huge bonus. This has massively improved my end result for both video calls and photos. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending or purchasing again.
I brought a small LED panel light a while back for my sons YouTube videos and was very impressed, I have a lighting kit with sodium bubs, it takes ages to setup and its big and bulky, these lights are rechargeable so you can work without long extension leads and change the lights from 2700k upwards for a more natural daylight look, the whole kits is in a small bag with protection so ultra portable, the tripods are more compact than the others I have. Overall it was money well spent and and I will be getting rig of the old bulky sodium lights.
I bought the single 106 LED little brother to mount on my camera and I was really happy with it, so I decided to go for the bigger duo and expand my studio gear. This was the right call. The Raleno lights stick to the description, so you get what you expect at a very competitive price.
The stands are well built, stable and with plenty of adjustment, but not suitable for heavy loads. They are good for those lights but don’t think on using them with much heavier devices. Personally I find this to be an advantage, because it makes them very light and easy to carry around.
The bag is light and functional. Everything packs nice and tight so you know nothing is going to move and get damaged.
The lights deliver as promised. Colour range is wide, intensity is even higher than expected at max value and the front panel looks sturdy but gives a really nice diffused tone. With LED technology the battery runs for long and the lights don’t get very hot. And you can also run them indefinitely on DC. Something I really like is that the knobs at the back are a wheel on the side, so they don’t give any extra depth to the light. The value screen is really big so you can see the numbers and remaining power clearly. The entire device looks durable, made out of hard, good quality plastic.

I had been working from home using zoomwith very large softbox lights from 10 years ago that I had lying around. The take up a lot of space so I tried these LED lights. The first thing I was impressed with was how compact the actual LED lights are – about the size of an ipad. They have on/off switches, temperature control and brightness. At my desk I have set them to daylight at 25% brightness and my zoom call looks very professional. They come with individual stands and DC connector to the mains.
I’ve bought these as i have a secondary photography area in my back garden work space, it gets dark in there during the colder months and although natural lighting is quite good, it does mean that when clouds go over or a particularly cloudy day, it stops all play.
So out with the lights… they come in a nice portable bag that could be used if you’re moving them, around from location to location, for me this isn’t the case and they are permanently on their stands pointing towards my photo area. This means that i can tweak them to get it just right for myself. I went with this 2 pack to give an absolute flood of light and it works really well, you wouldn’t want to sit directly in front of them at full blast but being behind the camera doing it give you really nice clear images with hardly any post production to get them as needed.
I have mine used over a white background / base and that really shows off the additional light.
I will probably get another couple in case i have larger items i need to photograph but until then these fit my needs perfectly.
I was surprised how small the box was – for some reason, due to the stands I expected the bag to be bigger. It’s an amazingly compact kit.
In the bag you get 2 stands, 2 power adapters/chargers, 2 stand mounts and of course 2 lights.
The stands are so compact that I laughed when I saw them. They have a tiny footprint and are very lightweight. But they are perfectly capable of the job. This is not a kit to light a film set or a TV studio, it is firmly at the budget end of the market and designed to be used by first timers, those wanting something for home and so on. The stands continue this theme. They are not ‘pro’ stands but they are perfectly adequate. They go up to just short of 6ft, have a really compact footprint and do the job perfectly – just dont knock them over of course
The stand mounts are neat. They screw into the bottom of the light fixture and have a coldshoe attachment for mounting on a camera or flash bracket. In the bottom of the coldshow is a screw thread to mount on the stands. Very straightforward. The mounts are mostly plastic and you do need to be just a little careful of them – however they are standard fittings so are easily replaced. The lights will also fit on any stand or accessory with a standard threaded adapter
The charger/power adapters have a long enough lead to reach the floor when the stand is at its highest – but you will need to run power sockets to the bottom of the stand. These lights are battery powered (internal rechargeable battery) but can also be run directly from the charger/mains. This is a really surprising bonus at this price range
The light itself is about an inch smaller in height and width than a sheet of A4 paper. It’s very thin. The product is made of plastic but seems sturdy. The front looks like it has a bit of styrene foam on it but this is just the diffuser. On the back you have an LCD display and controls for Brightness (wheel), Colour Temperature (wheel), On/Off (switch) and the socket for the power adapter. The back has a lot of gaps to let heat escape. On the bottom is a standard tripod screwthread, into which you can screw either the standmount or a basic tripod. I’ve screwed a minim table tripod into mine and it sits on a shelf to use with my webcam.
You can’t see the actual LEDs due to the diffuser which gives an extremely even light output. I’m guessing here but I think that there are 2 sets of LEDs – 1 set of warm white and 1 set of daylight white. Combining the 2 in different ratios gives the change in colour temperature. This theory seems borne out by the fact that maximum brightness is achieved at around 4200k which is when all LEDs would be on. The colour temperature can be controlled from 3200 up to 5600 in 100k steps. Brightness is controlled from 0-100% in 1% steps so it is very adjustable. The specs say this has a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 95%+ . Basically this means it has accurate colour rendition. This is important for getting the right look to your photos and videos.
This is mostly a video light. When you first turn it on, it doesnt seem that bright. You have to be realistic here – this is not going to light a TV studio up, however for relatively close work it is extremely effective. You could happily use one or two of these for vlogging and YouTube, reviewing, lighting fairly small items or for interviews and so on. As mentioned, I use this for my webcam, and I find that at 5600K and just 10% brightness from about 1m away it gives the perfect amount of light for Skype, Google Meet, Teams, Adobe Connect and so on. In terms of photography it would be fine for table top items or a bit of fill light., Bear in mind you cant use modifiers with these so they are quite basic for photography, however that is not their intended main use. They are also of great use in a power cut, to find things in cupboards and even to light up a workspace.
It lasts about 1 hour on full output, obviously longer if you cut the power a little. It also runs slightly longer at the lower and higher end of the colour temps – again possibly because it is only using either the warm white or bright white LEDs.
All in all I am really impressed with this kit, for the price. It feels more expensive than it costs, it performs better than I expected and it seems to be well made and do exactly what it is supposed to.

These Raleno lights were delivered a few weeks ago now and have proved very useful in the studio. Thanks to their light weight I am looking forward to mounting one on my video camera when the ice hockey resumes – post pandemic.
There is a lot to like in this kit as a whole package. Included is a very handy carry case, two light stands and of course the light panels – see picture.
I love the fact that the batteries are internal and this has cut down the weight which previously has always been a bit of an issue when recording outside on locataion. Anything that reduces weight is a winner for me.
The lights themselves are bright and produce soft light with no need for any attached diffusion panel thanks to their surface material. A full range of colour temperature options that should cover all your normal lighting needs in degrees Kelvin enabling you to set the camera to match ambient lighting.
Two light stands rise to 6′ 3″ and that should be more than enough to cover a majority of lighting needs. Panels do have 1/4″ thread for mounting to the stands. Stands are metal and a good mix between weight and robustness and certainly more than suitable for the light panels.

At the price, I believe this offers great value for your money given how versatile the panels are. I bought these lights as I had previously bought the smaller version of this soft light and was very impressed.
The new lights arrived even sooner than expected and arrived in perfect condition. The carry case they come in are of a very good quality. Durable well thought out and light weight perfect for when your on the move like at weddings or even nightclub photography.
The tripods that came in the package were a very pleasant surprise. Extremely sturdy with a great range of height and weigh almost nothing. I will have many uses for these and my old tripods can be very heavy to drag around.
The lights themselves were even better than I expected. Providing a very even light which did not flicker even taking super slow motion videos. They light itself can be very bright, far brighter than I thought. Now it won’t light a large outdoor set however indoors this kit is just ideal or even if your just covering a smaller outdoor area.
The range of colour is extremely impressive from super warm hues to freezing cold and stark scenes this kit has you covered perfectly.
Using both lights in key and fill roles I could take a completely dark scene and change it to a cozy evening or morning scene to broad daylight in a matter of seconds as shown in the pics.
Battery life is exceptional for a light of this quality and easily go over an hour and 20 minutes without charge. The built in batteries are a real god send compared to camera batteries which need to be removed to recharge. These lights also run on there supplied adaptors for longer sessions.

Great product. Lights are strong and reliable and the tripods are great too. Crazy extension and much taller than most affordable tripods on Amazon! Comes with the necessary adapters to use on tabletop clamps/dslrs and works very well.
These just arrived and I couldn’t wait to get them out of the box! I’d seen online they had great reviews and as I’d just purchased a smaller light from the seller (which is fantastic), I thought I’d take the splurge. Thankfully I got a coupon on amazon that took of 25 which made them very affordable.

I’m genuinely impressed by the Raleno products.
I came across the brand by chance a short while back but wasn’t ready to commit to their more expensive items, so bought the RALENO Dimmable Bi-color 3200-5600k Panel Light as a test.
I was so impressed by how good and how efficient such a small panel light was I thought it was definitely worth trying out the video lighting kits.
The item arrived perfectly packed. I also love the fact that it came with its own carrier bag – being able to tidy things away is very important to me. The whole kit is also a lot lighter than I anticipated too, which makes transporting so much easier should I need to.
The LED panels in this lighting kits get pretty bright – I don’t need to set it on very high to get the effect I want.
I’m yet to take them out on location so will report back in terms of the durability of the stands etc.

These are fantastic lights! The brightness is so powerful, it can illuminate the all room! Great for youtubers, zoom meetings or portraits pictures. The battery is quite good, it last 2 hours raughly but you can use it while you are charging. The lights can be use for a camera so you can use for your dslr or mirrorless. And the bag is so useful! Highly recommended!
Firstly I have to mention the packaging and carry case for these lights. I can see that the company has put a lot of attention into this and I was impressed with how it keeps everything secured, protected and easy to remove and put back in.
The lights themselves are really good. I had bought 2 smaller version lights from the same company before and used them for my blog videos, which are good but a little small and I don’t like how those ones were battery only. These new ones are much bigger and they plug into the wall so I can have continuous lighting and not have to worry about the battery running out half way through a video.
The range of light is great with very easy to use controls for brightness and tone.
The stands are also really good and good quality. They stand nice and tall and have been a nice addition to my setup as I was operating without full height stands prior to this.
For a basic setup, these are awesome and a good price for what you get.
Pleasantly surprised by how compact the carrying bag is, very handy. Was worried the tripods would be too small but they extend over 6ft with the light on. Super handy light with the inbuilt battery meaning no wires and very bright and easy to adjust. Only thing would be even better would be a tilt option on the tripod head but a cracking light package all in.

I am a skateboard filmer and these lights are fantastic value, light, easy to use and very efficient – long gone are the days of lugging a generator to a spot to light it up! In the lightweight carry case I have everything I need. I use these 2 lights on the included light stands (which are plenty sturdy) to illuminate the outside spot (such as a bench or stair set) and they definitely do the job. I was a bit sceptical that they wouldn’t be bright enough for outside use but in a close range situation they are. If filming with the fisheye, I use a 3rd Raleno light on top of the camera which lights up the skater brilliantly. The light turns on instantly, which is very helpful as I turn it off in between takes to save battery life, and skating is such a fast paced environment that you need it to be available instantly at your fingertips, which it is. All in all, a great lighting package and I am very impressed with the build quality, softness of the light, the brightness and the ability to change the colour temperature. It is a great bit of kit and especially useful for these darker, winter months. I don’t know how I would go back to shooting without them!
I have recently purchased this kit after originally purchasing a single LED light panel by the same company.
The build quality is excellent and the inclusion of two panels AND the stand is incredible value for money. You can affix the panels to any tripod so that gives a lot of flexibility.
We use the panels in our retail florists and find the light given out by these really elevates the quality of our (amateur) photography.

I recently bought this product as I am planning on filming a short horror film – and of course it is going to be dark.
Upon arriving, the packaging was very secure and the storage case is very light and compact which makes travelling around with it very easy and convenient.
Assembly of the product is very straight forward and only takes around 5 minutes.
To test the quality of the lighting, I set up a few concept shots for my film using the lights – they work great! They light my shots perfectly without it looking too artificial. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to improve their photography set-up or film production!
I bought these to help improve my picture and video quality. And these are totally worth it.
Some of the things I like the most about these lights are the easy way to adjust brightness and warmth (color temperature). And I found the LED display at the back to be very handy to ensure proper values in two lights and to also check battery. The tripod and horse shoe holder are also quite sturdy and easy to assemble.

I am super impressed with Raleno’s video lights and have had many compliments on shoots about their versatility and wireless capability. They are dimmable, and you can adjust the warmth too. We have used them for professional music videos, short films and corporate video work. They are so easy to fit in places where you need extra light, and can also rig on top of your camera or on any lighting stands, with adjustable tilt. I was really impressed by these lights, they come in a nice padded carry bag and the stands are sturdy and good quality. Besides the two stands, there are two chargers and two camera horseshoe mount — one for each light. The LED video lights itself are amazing, the range from dim to bright is great and I can’t wait to get creative with these!
I normally work with a studio to take the product photos for our online shop. To cut costs and speed up the process of posting online I decided to start doing the photoshoots myself.
I honestly wasn’t expecting these lights to be as good or better than the ones the professionals use.
* Colour accuracy is spot-on and the range is quite wide.
* Controls are so intuitive that you can start using it right off the box. The individual physical dials for brightness and colour temperature are a great addition(way better than + – buttons) and the rocker switch for on/off (again, much better than just a button)
*Tthe LED screen on the back is bright enough to be seen clearly in broad daylight. and display clearly all the info (colour temp. brightness and battery)
*The tripods are surprisingly sturdy and stable, even at full extension(around 2meters/6 foot) and over a thick rug.
Mines came with the battery fully charged, and I’ve been using the pair already for a while and they’re still at 50%. Is a good plus that it can also be used while charging instead of having to wait for the batteries to recharge.
I won’t be using the carrying case much as I’ll do the photos always in the same location, but is a nice addition to keep everything safe in the same place. Super easy to store back, no fiddling with positioning and the padding seems to protect the contents quite well
Easy to adjust and set. Battery life is decent for the price and is on par with my Neewer Ultra-Thin 192 LED light. The carry case is nice and compact, easy to store and will be just as easy to travel with.
The lights are decently adjustable, brightness can be adjust by the percent. The LCD is easy to read and colour temperature is easy to set via the Kelvin value. Good range in colour temperatures, suitable for many lighting situations. I have these set up as fill and rim lights respectively and I am impressed with the result.
Remote controls would have been nice but probably a bit too much to ask at this price point.
Lifespan and longevity will have to be tested further but overall this is a great value for money package that has taken my lighting setup up a notch.

All you need to professionally light a video! The lights are BRIGHT. Affordable setup that is fantastic for content creators, YouTubers, product reviewers, artists etc. I have been using this kit to make teaching and performing videos during lockdown. It all comes in a very lightweight package that is easy to take to a location shoot. Bravo RaLeno!
Does what the manufacturer says, well. Lights last abut 50 minutes on 75% brightness. Useful for adding colour/mood to webcam streaming, but be aware lighting may tuen off if you’re using for more than 40 minutes. Perhaps permanently running from mains via supplied charger could avoid this, haven’t tried that yet.
I wasn’t expecting this set of good quality lighting gadgets when I purchased because I know lighting is expensive. I make YouTube videos and have always struggled to find good quality lights at this price. These, however, are reasonably priced, versatile and lightweight with adjustable colour temperature. My room light is a bit dark and these lights significantly improved the quality of the film and give it a crispy feeling. The build quality has exceeded my expectation and it’s an overall very happy purchase. I will recommend getting a pair to up your game for casual video production.

The lights and stands are lightweight and the storage/carry case makes them easily transportable. They fold down completely, and have a great range of flexibility and amazing range of height extension.
The lights themselves charge so don’t always have to be plugged in, and are also fully adjustable in terms of brightness and warmth of the light. The light is soft enough that it can be directed at you face-on while not being uncomfortable making it perfect for vlogging and portrait photography. The display on the back shows you the brightness, warmth, and battery life which is a great help.
The stands are very well constructed, solid build and all fittings and points of adjustment are secure.

I previously bought 2 of the smaller Raleno light panels which I was impressed by and I needed some lighting to fill a green screen evenly.
Much like the smaller Raleno panels the adjustment to brightness and hue on this kit is great, the tripods are lightweight and when collapsed take up little space.
The battery life is decent and with the 2m power cables makes plugging them in fairly easy without the need for extra extension cables.
The supplied carry case though bulky is lightweight and provides great protection for the tripods and light panels.

The first thing I noticed when I received the package was the efficient use of cardboard. A card box with a handle housed the soft protective carry case. The case is so compact and great for taking out. The lights themselves exceeded my expectations. They work either off a power supply or the internal battery. They are bright and versatile with easy altering of brightness and temperature. The screen is clear and easy to read. They are really thin panels with the added benefit of built-in diffusion. The stands work well and are sturdy enough for indoors. I’d probably use a more heavy duty stand if I was outdoors in windy conditions. Overall this lighting kit is one of the best value purchases I have made. Highly recommended.
This is a superb lighting kit. I received these yesterday and my first impression was good given that the pack arrives in a handy and smart carry case.
The equipment is sturdy but lightweight and very quick and intuitive to set up.
The lighting units themselves are very clear to set up and adjust and are very easy to angle into the right position. The LED control panel is clear, intuitive and easy to navigate to adjust the brightness and temperature using the dials, and metering display on the LED control panel.
The light itself is bright and looks great on camera. I have carried out a few tests on brightness and temperature and they were very bright, but also effective at lower brightness levels as fill lights.
Overall these will be great versatile units as part of a shoot or quick deployment.

I just received these lights – first impression is that they are excellent value for money. They are really light and easy to move around compared to a traditional strobe setup. A massive bonus is the ability to charge it on the go! Very happy with them so far.
The kit comes very well packaged – in its own bag, allowing safe transportation for the two lights and tripods. There are also two chargers (one for each light) included in the kit.
The tripods are basic, but stable enough for the weight o the light, and extend high. From ground to top of light when on tripod fully extended is 188cm. The tripods are adjustable to all heights in between – easy slide with thumbwheel turning.
There is an adaptor supplied that allows the light to be angled as well as rotated on the tripod.
The lights themselves are very good indeed – rechargeable with the ability to change colour temperature as well as brightness. They go from 3200K to 5600K, and don’t flicker (something I was concerned about prior to purchase).
Being rechargeable means that there are no wires to trip over and also means they can be used in areas where there is no power socket nearby.
Basically, this is a no faff set up that will allow you to light your photo / video shoot easily and with a good degree of colour/brightness adjustment.
An added advantage I have found I can also use them under my car when doing any servicing on it as they are nice and thin and extremely bright – and I will also be taking them when I go camping as I am sure they will be great for that as well.

I needed some continuous lighting for video work and have to say I’m really impressed with these lights and the kit. With this one kit I’m able to get some great Rembrandt effect lighting as well as a backlight on the subject. Or lighting the background or whatever I need! I had actually purchased a single light from them and then got this kit (as I loved the first light) to have the added versatility of the 3 lights.

This light kit from Raleno is my new lighting set up for my studio, I use the kit with a Sony A6100 for mostly shooting video in 4k and let me tell you the results are fantastic.
I have replaced 2 big bulky softboxes with these and they take up so much less space in my studio but deliver far better results with a lot more customisation of the light brightness & warmth.
I like the fact they are rechargeable also so I don’t have to worry about having them plugged in all the time and have cables all over the place.

The kit consists of two LED panels with built in lithium batteries, two hot show / stand swivel mounts, two stands and mains power adaptors along with a foam padded compact carry case.
Each lightweight 580g ultra-thin iPad sized LED panel in an alloy housing has a 192 LED’s with a surprisingly bright output which is nicely softly diffused. Control is done manually with an on/off switch, brightness adjustable in 1% increments and colour temperature that ranges from a nice indoor 3200K to just above daylight 5500K at a max of 5600K. When not on the power adaptor they are powered by the built in 800 mAh lithium batteries which lasts around 1.5 hours in my experience.
I absolutely love the fact that they are so versatile and can be used on the included nice lightweight stands in my studio when on video or if desired on camera using the hot shoe mount on the base of swivel mount and internal batteries as you move around taking photos and video. Brilliant!

Been looking at kit like this for ages and to be honest the price point won it over. I had expected lesser construction but I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well everything is made and put together. The stands are sturdy and with a sand bag on the bottom they aren’t going anywhere.
The lights themselves seems to do a darn good job. I dont have anything to compare to as a noob YouTube type but it’s got the job done. Everything is well lit with nice light dispersal. Controls are nice and tight on the back offering a good amount of cold and warm light.
Wish I had made this purchase sooner as I cant tell you how much you will appreciate the space and flexibility you have with these LED lights over the standard big bulb ones.

The lights are nice and bright, lightweight and with the battery built in, one less thing to remember or carry with me around on a shoot.
This is incredible value for money. I didn’t realise that there would be TWO lights not just one! And the battery seems to last longer than even the stated 50 minutes. My only complaint is that the control for colour temperature is quite jumpy – at least to start with – but it’s got smoother as I’ve used it more. However I would be wary of you are looking for really subtle variations in colour temperature.
The stand is easy to adjust and has a nice solid build. The carry case is thoughtfully designed too.
Finally and most importantly the customer service is super responsive.

I bought this kit following the previous purchase of a single video light which I was extremely happy with, and I needed some more flexibility.
The actual lights are of a high standard and are very solid and robust. I’m an Accountant and I’ve used them for many different Zoom meetings where it’s been important to show myself professionally in a good, well balanced light.
One of the main features for me has been the ability to not only alter the brightness levels but change the colour temperature of the light (between 3200k-5600k). I have a window in my study and as my meetings can be during the evening as well as the day I can use these video lights to balance the daylight or the other table lamps in my study to provide some good, even lighting.
Battery life has been great…after over a week of daily use I had to charge them up again, which is impressive as it was a lot of meetings, and it didn’t take long to charge them.
I researched a lot of similar lights before buying and I think they are great value for money. I’m also a keen photographer and the lights are so good that I have started to use them for table-top photography too. I have impressed with the flexibility the kit provides to me.
Overall they are a great buy and I would highly recommend them, especially as they come with a handy compact bag to house everything in. By the way, I had a query about them, sent an email and got a prompt reply….good to know service matters!
As an amateur photographer trying to improve his skills and the quality of photos taken, you start to appreciate the importance of lighting and having the right tools to control it. This Raleno lighting set offers both power and control in a portable kit.
This set includes two lights, tripod light stands and AC adaptors, along with a carry case to transport it around. Considering the amount of equipment included, the carry bag is surprisingly compact and lightweight when full, so it is easy to move between locations.
The lights are feel well put together and not flimsy. There is no creak in them, which you can get with cheaper, less well made lights. The main controls use a wheel format, allowing provide precision adjustment over the amount and softness of the light, with visual feedback provided through the display on the back.
This set is suitable for both indoor and outdoor photography, although don’t use it in the rain! I also think this would be great for anyone making their own videos, like YouTubers.
In conclusion, I’d highly recommend this lighting set. Will definitely help you take better photos!
Ordered and it came in amazing condition. 2 Lights, 2 Stands and all the fittings in a lovely amazing carry case which has extra padding for transport.
Lights have multiple brightness settings, they also come with 2 chargers to charge the lights.
The tripods are also great quality.
The whole package has been well put together an I’ll be ordering more lighting soon.
I also like that the batteries are built in unlike some other lights which require a separate purchase.
These are the second lot of Raleno lights I’ve bought and have recorded several videos with the first batch with good results.
If you do analog photography these lights also can be used to view and photograph your negatives! The light is very diffuse so you don’t get any artifacts as you do when using a tablet as a light source.
I often use one light as a key light for video meetings and the other one can be used to light the background.
I’ve even used these lights as work lights when I was repainting the bedroom 🙂
Delivery was also very fast.
The lamps are well made with thumb wheel controls for brightness and colour temperature, an on/ off switch, and a power connector on one side. An LCD panel on the back indicates, brightness level, colour temperature and battery level. At full brightness, the light is glaring to look at directly. The illumination is even, and the light can be dimmed smoothly to a low level before cut off. The colour temperature control smoothly changes the quality of the light from brilliant white to orange tinted cream. The rechargeable batteries are rated to last for 1.5 hours.
The stands are lightweight but well-engineered and I was pleased to find the three extensions operate smoothly with stops to prevent the sections pulling apart.
In my early days of photography, I spent hours with soft boxes balancing the power and positions of flash units. It was quite tedious, and a bit hit and miss. This LED kit is refreshing. No power leads, the positions of the lamps can be easily changed, and the effects easily seen.
I have been delighted with my initial explorations and have included photos with normal room lighting and LED enhanced images below. The LED images are the second in each pair shown. These lights do not generate the light levels needed for professional studio work but even so I was surprised to achieve a pleasing self-portrait in a mirror.

I am genuinely impressed. It comes beautifully packaged in a box and the carry case looks pretty sturdy. For me it’s ideal – small and lightweight but sturdy and so far, seemingly well built. For home studio lighting it is pretty perfect. The display on the rear shows battery level, colour temperature and intensity so it’s easy to match the two lights. It also comes with a pair of chargers.
First off I’d like to say how impressed I am with Raleno’s customer support. I recently purchased a smaller light similar to these from themselves and I found the product paramount in helping me capture amazing video with an on-camera soft light. After ordering these lights I was curious about how the equipment would be transported and if the transporting equipment would be easy… raleno could not of made it easier, the lights came amazingly packaged and in carry cases’ which make them very easy to transport. Not to mention how well the soft lights perform… I can’t wait to try them out and make a short cooking video. Defo a key component to my ever growing list of equipment! Thanks again Raleno!
I have ordered a table LED light from Raleno before (never having heard of the company) and was surprised at the quality of the build. I ordered this kit for more comprehensive indoor video and still photography and it has turned out to be a versatile, sturdy, well-built addition to any photographer’s equipment. It comes in a decent-sized, strong carrier bag for easy transport.

Loving these lights. Great level of brightness and adjustability with dimmers and light tone controls. The fact that I don’t need to have them plugged in is especially useful. I use them for online class streaming and video recording. The battery lasts for about an hour and a half which means that I don’t have to worry about where the nearest socket is in the room. Everything packs neatly into the carrier back.
I scan 35mm film with my DSLR, and a great light source to illuminate the film properly is a must. The Raleno LED video light is fantastic for this purpose – it is very bright, so you don’t need to use too low a shutter speed, unlike a lot of other light pads. Also, it has a CRI of 95+ which is very important to achieve good quality conversions of scanned colour negative film.
Runs off a rechargeable battery, the light is nicely even and is very reasonably priced. All in all, the Raleno is one of the best light pad options for camera scanning film.
The lights themselves come with a matt/diffused finish built in, so the have a lovely natural look, particularly in video. You can adjust the warmth and brightness via 2 separate wheels on the rear of each light and a handy screen shows you the 2 levels so you can easily replicate exact settings from shoot to shoot. Settings run from 3200 – 5600K and 0-100% brightness.
Build quality of the lights is great and I have had zero issues with the original light I bought a couple of months ago. Each pack comes with 2 lights, 2 tripods, fitting adapters, chargers (great that they supply 2!) and a protective carry case. The tripods reach around 3m with the lights attached with 3 telescopic adjustments possible, making them very versatile.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone in need of video and/or product lighting. They are fantastic value and offer lots of versatility in a very portable kit.
Im an Amateur photographer and wanted something portable that I could take with me on street portrait shoots and this kit hits the mark perfectly. The lights themselves are extremely powerful with a range of 3200-5600K with a digital display showing this.
With the kit you also get a handy carry case, tripods and swivel attachments which also allow you to attach a light directly to your cameras hot shoe.
Overall first impressions straight out the box I’m impressed with this LED lighting kit and look forward to using it at a shoot.
After buying and using the single LED video light from Raleno a lot, I bought this video light kit and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. I was sceptical about the size first but there is no reason to worry. The brightness is really high, you can change the white balance on the whole spectrum. Battery life is long and it charges quite fast.
The light stands are super light but stable and easily adjutable.
As a freelancer I always prefer light and handy equipments so I can be as mobile and as quick as possible. This product is literally a perfect lighitng kit.
