If you’re looking for a no-fuss exercise bike that’s a step up from a cheapo spin bike but you haven’t the space or cash for a turbo trainer or Peloton this could be the answer.

First up the box it arrives in isn’t that big and heavy. It was easier having two to get it out of the box but you could do it alone.

Secondly, assembling the bike was easy and all the tools you need are provided and the instructions are clear. Built up it takes up less space than a wheel-on bike turbo trainer and can be easily wheeled out of the way when not in use.

Downloading and pairing the app is easy and the ipad/phone tray is grippy so it won’t fall off mid-ride. The rides with videos take a little while to download but not excessively long.

Setting up the bike to suit you is very easy. At the smallest setting my 8yr old can ride it and I can get comfy at 6ft tall. The supplied pedals are easy to use with normal trainers but the attaching threads are the same as a normal bike so if you’re a cyclist you can buy a spare set of whatever your usual pedals are. The seat is a bit wide and soft if you’re a keen cyclist but for beginners it’ll probably be welcomed!

Finally and most importantly it’s nice to ride. It is far, far quieter than any normal bike and wheel on turbo trainer that I’ve used, you aren’t going to upset the neighbours or irritate someone trying to watch the TV in the next room! The bike itself is very stable and the feet can be adjusted to get it level if needed to stop rocking. Most importantly it feels natural to ride and the change in resistance doesn’t lead to a “choppy” feel when pedalling.

I haven’t tried syncing with the third party apps like Zwift or Rouvy but there are plenty of different work out sessions for a range of riding types. There are only a few of the peloton style work out videos if that’s what you’re after. The app is free to download so you can have a look and see if the included ones are sufficient. For me I’m happy to do workouts against graphs while watching TV rather than ones with a “live” personal trainer.

All in all, while I’ve only done a few rides I’m very happy with the Renpho for keeping fit without have to get dressed up for a ride in the rain and ruining my bike!

Bought this for my wife who misses the spin classes at the gym. Its fantastic. looks small but not lightweight by any means, its sturdy and well made. Comes with Bluetooth connection to an app where you can download Classes of all types, scenic rides and more as well as all the usual fitness tracking stuff. It also works with other apps too but the Renpho app is free to users so that with the quality of the bike makes this a fantastic buy.
We have had if for a month now and my wife is addicted, i’ve even started using it 🙂

A great bike! Zwift works great but doesn’t sync to strava which is a bummer. All in all great bike. The app that comes with the bike is fantastic for workouts and to track your progress and goals. Nice job Renpho.

I really wanted to get an exercise bike and didn’t want to drop 1000 + dollars on one before including any subscription, I did some digging and found this bike, I had ordered smaller items from Renpho including an eye massager which I loved and was great quality so I figured that paired with the other good reviews and great price point I would give this a chance and it did not disappoint.
I have used it 6 times so far and have loved the free AI gym app with it, so far only using the free cycle option but changing resistance levels is easy as is adjusting handle and seat height.
Love this purchase and it is helping get me in better shape.

This bike was easy to assemble. My husband did it in about 30 minutes. I downloaded the app and everything instantly connected. I’m really unfit so the ‘ find your fitness level’ was really useful, and helped me to gauge what other programmes and at what level I should be accessing. I really enjoyed the 20 minute aerobic session, and I have also done the short cycle ride through Paris. It’s a great bike at a good price. My fitness levels have gone up, and combined with a better diet I’m becoming much healthier. I would definitely recommend it.

I am not a cyclist and it’s two years since I’ve been to a gym or a spin class. I am an ageing runner and was looking for an exercise bike to get some cardio in on miserable cold wet days instead of running. Also non weight bearing for my joints.

I looked at turbo trainers and other options. This seemed ideal. It was simple enough but with the free app there were loads of programmed to make it interesting. I have not been disappointed.

It was easy to assemble, two people recommended but manageable with one. It is comfortable and surprisingly quiet. I intended putting it in the garage but if you have space in the house it is easy to move.

The app has more than enough to keep me entertained. A good selection of programmes, spin type classes and video routes to follow. It can be linked to zwift if you have that.

It might not be enough for a serious cyclist but it has been a great addition to my fitness routine giving me options for when I don’t feel like running.

    Ticks all the boxes

It might not be so aesthetically pleasing as some of its more expensive cousins, but don’t be fooled this is an excellent piece of equipment and for the money probably the best you can buy!

I will amend my original Review to state that the bike is functioning properly in zwift with a firmware update. It feels like a good piece of hardware, so I’m hopeful it will last a long time. Customer support was helpful and solved my problem pretty quickly without slogging through automated systems, so I appreciate that. Note that the firmware update that was required for my bike to work in Zwift was not automatically pushed, I had to manually request & install it, so keep that in mind. I think the bike is also not fully functional (it will not pair) through it’s own app with iOS15, so bear that in mind as well if you are an iphone user, it might give you headaches. Ultimately, I think it’s a good product with some compatibility issues that Renpho seems actively fixing.

We haven’t used as much as we would have liked but New Year resolutions! Once you download the app on your phone the bike is controlled through the phone. So I went for a ride in California and had several inclines and descents. The bike became harder and easier to cycle with no need for manual change.

Trainingsprogramme mit der App funktionieren super.

I purchased the Renpho AI exercise bike for ~$399 + tax (i.e. $499 – $100 holiday cyber sale discount) — and it’s an excellent piece of exercise equipment for the price. I’ve been using it for a few weeks. I really appreciate the free tracking App (AI Gym) which runs on my iPhone and communicates via bluetooth to the bike. The App lets you choose workouts and automatically changes resistance at appropriate times throughout the work-out. It tracks stats like calories burned, miles, instantaneous watts, and heart rate and gives graphs of these at the end of the workout. The heart-rate monitor is not included with the bike, so I bought a Wahoo TickrFIT (armband heart rate monitor for $64) and this also communicates to AI Gym via bluetooth.
The bike runs smoothly and quietly. The max resistance is much bigger than I can use — I generally stay in the 10-20 range out of the 0-40 resistance range — and I get a good workout in that range.
    A couple minor issues:
    1) The seat and handlebar height don’t go quite as high as I’d like — I’m 6 ft 3 in — and for my leg length could use perhaps 1 more inch in seat height. Another couple inches of handlebar height would make workouts more comfortable for me — at least at my current fitness level.
    2) The AI Gym App doesn’t always automatically sync up to the TICKR FIT heart monitor — so I have to “unbind” it and reconnect to get it working before workouts. So that adds maybe 1/2 a minute to the setup time for a workout.
But those are very minor compared to all the pluses of the bike especially at that price — so I still consider it a solid 5-star product — and highly recommend it.

Done about 15 hours or so over the two weeks I have had the bike and so far no regrets. Setup and adjustment were simple enough. There are no holes or detents in the seat tube so you have finer control over the saddle height, you just need to nip up the bolt extra tight to stop it slowly slipping under the weight of the rider. My 12.5″ iPad Pro sits quite happily on the stand with no risk of it falling off. The supplied app is okay, does the job adequately, but I have since subscribed to a cheap subscription service -RGT – and the bike interfaces perfectly. My only criticism is with the Amazon delivery. After reading all the emailed advice on preparing for delivery to the room of my choice, I cleared a path to my conservatory around the back of the house. The bell rings and the delivery driver is at my front door with the bike. I opened the door, he steps in. Drops it in the hall and is on his way within 30 seconds. No chance for me to ask for it to be placed in the conservatory. But I suppose, it is an exercise bike, just didn’t plan that my first sweat would be dragging the bike through the house!

I have to say I absolutely love this bike. It is better than I even hoped. Such a small footprint and clean design. Here are the things to know:
Super quiet so size and quietness makes it great for apartments and condos.
So smooth in operation I am just like on my bike.
A breeze to assemble and adjust to your height and reach, with a very comfortable seat
Free A1 app works great with bike. Lots of different courses.
Sync’s with my phone immediately and can run my blue tooth speaker simultaneously.
USB port just below handlebars for easy access along with a nice device holder.
All in all I could not be any happier with this purchase. To think I almost paid a lot more for a higher end bike. I did pad the handlebars a little more with cork tape but other than that I have no cons to report. Pedals and straps work great and are very comfortable. I have ridden bicycles my whole life (I am 63) and if you are hesitant to purchase this don’t be.

It is well worth the money!!

i never leave reviews but this bike is great, digital tracking on the app of all your rides is perfect. the resistance is smooth and probably more than most people will need. If your thinking of buying a pelaton bike dont bother, buy this bike instead its nearly as good for 1/3 the cost!

As a fairly active 68 year old who cycles a bit I was looking for a smart bike to replace my turbo trainer which is a bit boring during the winter! My son has a peloton which was lovely – a bit pricey but It was the monthly cost of membership which deterred me! Did a fair bit of research and decide to try the renpho.
I have had it about 6 weeks and am really enjoying it. The set up is super easy and connecting to the app was again problem free. Having had a few fun rides to get used to it I did the fitness test and started doing the exercise classes on the app. These are easily enough for what I want at the moment and if I need to add more I can easily join zwift, etc at a fraction of the overall cost of using a company like peloton.
Overall I feel the bike is great value for money – don’t get waylaid by all the people going on about size and weight of the fly wheel -it is easily enough for me and I am nowhere near the top end.

I’m a beginner so I didn’t want to buy one of the more expensive bikes and decided to give this bike a try. Its only been 2 weeks but this bike has so far exceeded all of my expectations. I started out using my phone as the screen but it was a little small so I got a fire 10 tablet and it works great. The free content is pretty simple but it helps and the auto resistance makes for a great workout. Would definitely recommend.

Alles super.

I have this set up in my spare bedroom and it has been incredible! I set my iPad on the stand and connect to Zwift for my daily ride. The connection and integration of the bike to the iPad and app are flawless, I never have to wait. Just turn it on hop on the bike and it recognizes the bike and I’m off pedaling. The feature where it auto sets the resistance based on what is happening in the app is my favorite part of the bike, it makes it feel like you’re actually going up a hill on the app. Or you can set your own and just pedal away. There was originally an issue when changing the resistance setting it would become very difficult to pedal for a split second before it set the new level. I haven’t noticed it over the last few weeks, seems to have been fixed with an update. If you are looking for an affordable indoor cycling solution with great integration and features I highly recommend this bike!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is my first exercise bike. I did some research on various budget models and I wanted to get something more than just the basic variety. I wanted to embrace new technologies to help get in better shape, but I didn’t want to overspend on a Peloton or a Zwift-capable bike with subscription. The Renpho seemed to fit the bill at a really good sale price. The added bonus is that it apparently supports Zwift and also Peloton (on iOS), so it is good to know that in the future there are always those options.

The bike works with or without the app, as you can manually adjust the resistance with the knob in front of you. The app will simulate hills and adjust the resistance automatically but you can also adjust it yourself during the ride.

There is also a cadence display on the knob’s display which is very handy, especially those of us with bad knees or want to maintain a certain RPM. Other budget bikes don’t have this and those others require the purchase of a separate cadence device.

Assembly was a breeze. People were correct in saying that it would be quick, as it took me about 20 minutes. The box is about 88 pounds so you will need someone to help you carry it inside. To open the box safely, cut the bottom flaps and lift the box. Don’t try to lift the bike out… I learned the hard way once with a TV and injured my wrist. Once the pieces have been removed you can carry the pieces yourself. There is no humongous flywheel to worry about.

The bike’s sturdiness on the mat can be adjusted by raising or lowering the base at each of the leg corners.

One concern mentioned by a lot of people was that there is no water bottle holder. I remedied this issue by purchasing one by Vltawa for $20 which I show in the pictures. So, problem solved quickly.

Seat adjustment is very good. You can easily adjust up/down or forward/backward. No screws required, it’s using locking levers so anyone can do it quickly.

The bluetooth connection to my iPad took a while to figure out, but all you need to do is use the AI Gym app to establish the connection to the iPad. You don’t need to initiate anything from the bike or from the bluetooth settings of the phone/tablet.

The AI Gym app has some interesting training programs and rides, and they’re all free, which is amazing. You need to sign up with an account though. If you’re a beginner you’ll find these programs are enough to keep you busy for a long time. There are workouts with trainers, scenic rides, and races with other cyclists. There is also an initial training session – a cycle power test to measure your ‘FTP’ – which you need to use in order for the app to gauge your current level which will be used in the workouts and rides.

I normally like using the scenic trails like the one with the Italian Alps. These are videos that were taken from the perspective of a biker, so they give you a first-person view as you bike. The difficulty changes as you go up and down hills, but you can also adjust the resistance to make it easier. The ride in downtown Paris is kind of amusing because part of the video was taken on a narrow pedestrian sidewalk with real people, and as you squeeze past them they look noticeably ticked off at the rider. The videos could use some better editing as they sometimes get cut off and start somewhere else, and they’re not in high resolution, but they’re free so I don’t want to complain. If you want a better experience then you need to pay monthly for Zwift or Peloton.

The race challenge is a very good way to drive up your heart rate. It’s shown as a top-view map of a real city, in a Google Maps kind of way. There are 7 people total in the race, but I’m not sure whether the other 6 are bots or not. It seems like a couple of them are real people who happen to be online at the same time, but the rest are bots to fill out the numbers. One thing I notice is that I am consistently finishing in second place, because the first guy somehow has a superhuman ability to get a giant lead from the very start so that it’s humanly impossible to overtake him. The person behind me is normally around my speed but always a couple or few seconds behind me throughout, so he/she is always pushing me to stay ahead.

The workout class has several videos with the same instructor and various intensity modes. I haven’t used it much but I had no problem with it.

Additionally there is a free cycling mode where you can go at your own pace and adjust your own resistance

There were some issues though, and I will list them here:

    1) The biggest problem was a clicking sound which started happening a few days of use. It was coming from the left pedal whenever it rotated on its axis (not the part that screws into the bike, but the part under your foot that rotates). This can be fixed by buying a standard pedal but I am currently trying to get Renpho to send me a new pedal as I’m still under the 1-year warranty. Their support have been responsive. UPDATE: They shipped me a new pedal from California.

    2) The app shows the menus in portrait mode, but when the rides are started the app switches to landscape mode. It’s too bad it can’t be in landscape mode throughout, but I can live with that even though it’s not hard for a developer to fix!

    3) The digital display that is on the resistance knob is kind of tricky to figure out. To switch between the different display modes you need to *touch* the button, NOT push it. The manual didn’t mention this so it took me a while to figure it out. I was pushing the button and it wouldn’t do anything sometimes, until I realized I just have to touch it and it will change the modes. Nonetheless, it is great that it comes with a digital display that shows actual values for resistance, cadence and other metrics, unlike other budget bikes that just have a knob with no display.

    4) The seat is very uncomfortable for males. It’s kind of wide and when you sit and pedal on it you have to adjust your, uh, crotch so that you don’t get sore. I got used to it but eventually I’m going to need a new seat, which I read is easy to replace.

    5) There is an Apple Watch app called AI Gym, which is nice to have included. See my attached photo. But it only shows the heart rate. If your watch supports Always On Display, well, the app doesn’t support it because it dims after a few seconds or when you turn your wrist away.

Overall, I would highly recommend this bike but make sure you get it on a sale price, as it tends to be inflated at a high regular price. And also be aware there are quality control concerns as noted above but they can be easily remedied. I will update this post after a while. I am curious about its longevity. I plan to use this bike almost daily.

I bought my bike from renpho but it was delivered by amazon and all can say is that this bike is amazing. If connecting to zwift and you find it difficult to get the speed up, disconnect and connect the speed sensor not the power sensor. Make sure the controller is also connected and you will enjoy an amazing ride. I use the power sensor for endurance or workouts and the speed sensor for sprints. I cannot recommend this bike high enough. A different level of fitness is what you get with this bike.

Definitely recommend this for the money, I purchased during a holiday sale. This ‘upright’ exercise bike is great, comfortable and feels sturdy. It’s a small footprint and solid. The seat and geometry (handlebars and seat to peddles) are easily adjustable and extremely comfortable for me (230-lbs at 5’11”). The AI-gym app has pre-recorded workouts that control the resistance and are very energetic. The video workouts are extremely adequate, but if you must have a live class, it can stream live. The AI-gym app is easy to use and keeps track of your workouts and goals. I had to purchase a heart-rate monitor (arm-band type) for the AI-gym app ($35 from amazon) which leads me to mention it would be nice to have the heart-rate monitor built into the handle bars like my elliptical. It does not have a water cup holder so I added my own, the power button in on the bottom rear (annoying) and should be near the control knob. The Flywheel is enclosed, the peddles can coast, and you can unplug it, making it safe around little kids. Minor design flaws but for kids safety, a nice work-out and the price, this is an excellent exercise bike.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersReally nice exercise bike. It is a great deal if you are looking for an exercise bike with connectivity and auto resistance. It works great with popular cycling apps that feature video from around the world trails.

Pros: Connects to popular cycling apps and saves ride stats to your phone (need to use Strava for some apps like Zwift since it doesn’t connect to Apple Health), pretty comfortable to bike on/nice seat and customizable seat and handle height, bike/electronics seem really sturdy, no issues with bluetooth connectivity (no drops or lags), Renpho app is free and is really nicely designed (no issues with connectivity in the app), really liked the sticky pad for your ipad/phone, easy to set resistance with turn dial on handle, the bike design is nice, liked that you can use your apple watch as a HR monitor (for Zwift and the Renpho app), auto resistance is good

Cons: DO NOT BUY IF ZWIFT IS A MAJOR FACTOR IN YOUR PURCHASE! Using this bike in Zwift is not great. You could be cycling 100 rpms at a resistance of 5 and your avatar still moves incredibly slow which does not reflect real life cycling. The bike does have automatic resistance in Zwift so it’s ok if you just want to do the courses and do not care about the competitive aspect. There were no issues in moving your avatar in the video rides like Fulgaz. You cannot comfortably stand and pedal on this bike. Some reviewers have stated that they can stand and pedal but it feels like pushing the pedals while your bicycle is in thick mud. It’s not very comfortable and it hurt my knees to do so even when I was leaning on the handles. Longevity might be a factor since all the cycle programs are in the app. If you have no ability to use apps, you are just stuck with a really basic exercise bike.

I would recommend this bike to someone who wants a nice upright bike with built in sensors and that wants it to track ride stats in their phone and want to do the “ride bike trails around the world” apps with auto resistance. I would not recommend this bike to Zwift users or Peloton users (since you can’t stand and pedal). Auto resistance does not work in Peloton app (which is a given since they would not want competition with their Peloton+ bike)

This exercising bike is pretty good but, the downside of the bike’s pedal is way too near the seat post than a usual bike. Overall it is pretty good.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve been using a Tacx Flux S for 1 year. It’s been great, but wanted something more complete and looked at Wattbike and Peleton. Took a risk on the Renpho following some strong reviews and my god, it’s brilliant. Syncs first time with Zwift and the included app is very good, and free. The resistance changes in workouts are instant and the power output is super smooth and seems accurate – FTP was the same. My workouts feel much tougher on the Renpho, noticeable muscle aches the day after. I couldn’t recommend this higher. Love it. Small footprint yet amazingly sturdy, build quality is excellent. It might not look as sexy as the others but it’s different approach to resistance (damping) is so intstant and smooth. 1/4 of the price of the two big boys and NO subscription.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe bike wouldn’t power-on from the outset. Contacted customer services who simply wouldn’t accept that it wouldn’t power-on. They wasted a week asking multiple times for various pictures/video clips all of which simply showed a dead bike and blank display. Having proved to them that the supplied power supply was working correctly, they still insisted on asking me to purchase a recommended replacement power supply from Amazon (which they would refund) but as expected, this didn’t power-up the bike either. After wasting a week where their customer services seemed more interested in gathering evidence to claim from their manufacturer rather than resolving my issue, I returned the bike to Amazon and requested a refund (which, with hindsight, I would have been better-off doing in the first place).

Update: took a chance and purchased a replacement as there is nothing on the market with similar capabilities in a comparable price range. Pleased to say the after the difficulties with the first one, the replacement worked out-of-the box. Apart from the display dial, which feels a little flimsy, the bike is solidly built. Now that I can access both the free sessions on the AI Gym app and Zwift, I very pleased with the purchase – rating adjusted accordingly!

If you’re looking for something like a Peloton but don’t want to spend that kind of cash, this is your beast. Grab your iPad and get moving! This bike is compatible with all sorts of software, including Peloton, if you absolutely have to spend the money. We use the AI GYM software that is recommended within the product info. It’s awesome, free and works great. Easy to connect and get started with. Good free-bike mode.

Double check the price before you buy. I bought it and two days later, it was $100 less. My bike was out for delivery that day, so I was checking things out and was surprised by the price drop. I called and was told, Amazon does not price adjust. They said, return it and buy it again. Really?! Yes, they said return it. But I didn’t. I just couldn’t be that wasteful with everyone’s time. I am super annoyed by it tho but I didnt allow my frustration to be directed at the bike. The bike is awesome, and even tho it’s $100 less than I paid for it, it’s seriously still an amazing value.

Good build. Easy to put together. Small footprint. Good connection to iPad. Nice device stand. Spare power outlet. Sturdy.

I just finished setting up my bike.
Overall I believe the Renpho AI is good value for money.
However, trying to find if or how to connect it to vaious apps is difficult or non existent.
I track heartbeat with my Garmin watch. Is there any way to have AI Gym connect to it? Not that I’ve found.
I use Strava to track all my workouts. Is there any way to have AI Gym pass the end results such as mileage time and pace over to Strava? Not that I’ve found.
The AI gym app is ok, not fantastic I’d say. But I’m concerned if it will be added to and updated over time.

Wasn’t sure I would like the simple, clean design but it fits beautifully in my gym with my other equipment. Function wise it is a beast, packed with well-thought-out tech. A very smart bike. Love the courses, video content and bluetooth connectivity. I haven’t tried using the other popular biking apps yet, mostly because the included FREE content is top notch! Bought on significant sale so I am very happy!

I’m late spring, I’d signed up for 100 Days of Running that was scheduled to begin on July 24. I’m not athletic by any means, but I figured even I could do 2 km per day, which was the minimum. On July 19, I fell and shattered my wrist. 100
Days of Running is now my goal for next year. I knew I had to do something to get moving. I already have two outdoor bikes, one of which is on a trainer. I knew I’d be bored so I came on Amazon for inspiration. I didn’t want a Peleton because it’s crazy expensive AND you need special cleats to use it! I saw the super-cool Renpho AI powered bike and I was hookedI HAD to have it! I bought it, it arrived in record time, and my partner set it up in our living room. I ride it twice a day – not for long but I do get on religiously. It’s so much fun! And I truly detest exercise. My goal is to move from my 5-10 minute sessions to 30 minutes twice a day. I’ve not spent a lot of time looking through the app, but there are a number of courses from which to choose. I’m geeky and love all things technology but didn’t want to spend a fortune just to use myself, so the cost of this bike really appealed to me. It’s very easy to adjust the height of the handle bars and seat, and the seat also adjusts so you can move it closer or farther from the handle bars. It connects very quickly and easily to the app, and you can have multiple people with their own accounts using it. It’s a great little bike for nerds like me!

I am an elderly woman and this bike is so good for me , it gives me a wonderful workout one of my best purchases I have made , my husband had it put together in no time at all and I can even move it myself from room to room. Compared to a peloton that you have to pay a monthly fee this one has a lot of work outs and does not cost anything great bike at a great price love it !!

Like the fact that when you stop pedaling the drive train stops turning. This makes it safe for small pets and children walking near you. The free app that come with it work well. Wecycled 20 miles a day and the feel is very bike-like my only regret is that I ordered a week before the recent price reduction. The bike is worth every penny regardless of price

After a few weeks of use, I am very impressed with the Renpho bike. Pedaling is so smooth and quiet, and the bike feels sturdy and stable despite its small footprint.

    Assembly was quick and easy.

The free mobile app includes optional free workouts, guided training, and virtual rides. The bike can automatically adjust resistance to match the effort of the workout or ride. While the library isn’t the biggest, it’s all free, at no additional cost. If you want to go premium, the bike can work with the apps from Zwift, Peloton and a few others, which do require a subscription.

Currently (as of August 2021) the app is unable to upload activities to Strava or watch apps like Garmin Connect or Coros. There does not appear to a way to manually export activities to .gpx files.

Overall, a great bargain. Highly recommended.

Aside from the cost, this bike also caught my attention because it didn’t have a glaringly complex design. In the end, this actually helped to make it stand out from other big bikes and blends in perfectly with my grey lobby so I might keep it there!

The cycling power test feature is hands down the most impressive function because it makes the courses and challenges more fun when you know they are tweaked to your personal “hit the wall” level of health.

There does need to be a few more challenges and courses to choose from but I am happy with the selection for now as they can tire me out pretty fast. Hopefully my endurance will noticeably improve if I tackle the same course again!

For what you're getting, this is a great price!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt said Renpho, I said what?
Researched it a little more, was impressed with the FEW reviews.
I am an avid exercise biker, have owned many over the years, so I decided to try it (being so affordable I hoped based on the claims).
The major surprise was the unpacking workmanship out off this world, the few bolts that came with it could be tightened by hand. Sturdiness OMG, yet still not overly heavy (80lbs). Features, more than you could ever need. Tension (80) yes, eighty levels. Assembly, like making microwave popcorn. Lines, a beauty. Can you go wrong with this bike? Definitely if you do not buy it if you are looking for a bike in that range.
I purchased it for $ 600 with the rebate. Retail about $1000. Worth? A lot more even at full value.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAt first glance, I was surprised by how few bells and whistles the bike comes with because when I plugged it in, I could only control the resistance of the gears and nothing else! The good news is that after I downloaded the AI Gym app…the potential of the bike was fully revealed. It put me through a hectic fitness test and the difficulty of video courses was then adjusted to my endurance level which was pretty cool! The races and scenic tracks are a nice touch for people who want to cycle a marathon, but since I only have a little time to spare, I rely on the power courses for my daily cardio which I’m happy with. Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI purchased this bike recently to improve my cardio and was very impressed by the AI algorithm which was able to adjust the difficulty of video workouts to my personal fitness. The app’s cycling power test totally gassed me out by increasing resistance each minute until I couldn’t cycle anymore ( this is used to make video workouts harder or easier so I wouldn’t recommend sharing the same app profile with another person).
The app was very easy to set-up and the video courses were a nice touch, although they need to be downloaded to phone which can eat up a lot of memory so I always clear the cache after each video course.
That said, the courses feel premium but require no extra payment so I was pretty chuffed!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI am an avid cyclist who always bikes outside. After awhile I decided to try an indoor bike again, which brought me here. This bike has been exactly as advertised and I am writing this review after 3 months of riding. It is decently quiet with great resistance levels that will challenge all levels of riders. Has a nice simple look and is sturdy. Assembly took 30mins to a hour. Bluetooth works great and the charging port is a nice addition. Comes with workouts that can help you train. Also connects to biking apps that make riding even more realistic. I just started the training with zswift to race other riders. I have no issues with this bike at all, I would have to be really really picky to find anything wrong.

Update: it’s been about 2 years since getting this bike and I still enjoy riding it daily. However, after settling in for longer rides (10mi+) the handle bar become a bit uncomfortable. Two things: during the 17-minute test, I noticed that a few seconds before the resistance is supposed to change, it will get harder to pedal. And I mean really hard. Not sure if it’s supposed to work like that. When I did the regular bike workout, this did not happen. Secondly, my handle bars are off center. The screw holes don’t line up as they should. As a result, the handle bars are off slightly. This is the reason for the 4. Edit: I contacted Renpho by email… and they informed me on how to straighten the handle bar. All good now.

Well, for all pandemic reasons I’m looking to buy a fitness bike and been looking for reasonable one for a while to work within my budget of ~$500. I have used RENPHO products in the past, so I have confidence on the quality. Pulled the trigger and bought this one.. I loved every aspect of the bike and love to get on it and get my sweat out! From my 2 weeks worth of usage, here is what I found

    Pros:
    1. Cool AI Gym app, with many programs and cool features. First time setup takes some work though.
    2. Seat cushion is good and won’t stress out my bum after an hour of biking
    3. Connectivity with smartphone and cradle to support it is great. I just cast to TV and see the programs on bigger screen
    4. It’s a space saver and not so heavy! I can nicely keep it aside after workout. It comes with lean form factor yet sturdy.
    5. I love the virtual programs in the app. It really simulates the experience of biking on real roads with real people!
    6. < 20 mins to assemble the bike and start my first exercise! Cons: 1. Bike can slip on hardwood floors. The rubber base has friction to it but still it can move during intensive workout. So you need a non slippery mat to keep the bike in place Overall, I rate this is as best bang for the buck!

We purchased the RENPHO bike from Amazon couple of weeks ago. Fast delivery, my husband put it together in less than 20 min (easy to assemble) and the bike feels nice and sturdy.
3 negatives- it doesn’t look as cool as some of the leading brands, it’s more simplistic with very clean lines; doesn’t come with a screen (hence the price) but we connect it to our iPads or iPhones; no water bottle holder.
Everything else is positive- easy to assemble, the AI app was easy to set up- it offers plenty of rides to chose from novice to super difficult. No need to purchase special cleats- another big positive for me. The one thing I absolutely love is that the tension automatically adjust with the course so no need to turn any knobs. Smooth and easy adjustment of the seat and handlebar for different riders, very quite performance.

I consider the RENPHO bike a smart purchase

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersThis is likely going to be the most long-winded review you’ve ever read on Amazon. But I’m honestly so impressed that I can’t just sum it up into a couple words.

Firstly I want to start by mentioning their customer service team. I’ve never worked with such a kind, polite, amazing customer service team they are so helpful and honest to God will respond to you faster than I’ve ever seen before. They are caring and they know their products very well, you can tell that they put a lot of time and effort into this company.

Oh then want to mention the bike of course the bike LOL that’s why you’re here. I spent hours and hours and hours reviewing bikes online. From the peloton, to the Schwinn, to the Echlon and I landed with the Renpho. I wanted my bike as soon as I possibly could get it and I wanted to be able to use an app with my bike. Not only can you use the well-known apps with the spike such as the peloton app or zwift but they have created their own app for FREEEEE. Quite honestly that was the biggest pull for me to buy this bike. I didn’t wanna spend $2500 American on a bike and then pay for a monthly service although I understand the price I just don’t have that amount of money to spend during a pandemic (I am an amateur spinner haha).

The bike was SOOOOOOO easy to put together it took my husband maybe 20 minutes and the man likes to dilly dally. Very very very simple instructions!

The app is so awesome! The very first thing you have to do is measure your ability. DO NOT SKIP! The step is so important! my husband is an entire foot taller than me, almost 100 pounds heavier than me, and much more athletic than me. We got two very different results in this test which will impact how the bike changes ITSELF during certain rides. That’s another point the bike will adjust itself. That was one of my main concerns. I don’t really know when to change the resistance because like I said I’m an amateur spinner. So when the bike just seamlessly does it for me it’s a huge help I have course can adjust if I don’t like it at that point but I haven’t had that issue

I know a lot of people in these reviews have done a lot of spin biking before and to hear them talk so highly of the bike is amazing. But coming from someone who bought this bike because I’m in the middle of a pandemic, on maternity leave and I’m going stir crazy… I couldn’t have made a better choice. Truly.

I read the other negative reviews on this bike in the almost made me laugh no offence to their writers. But these issues could absolutely be solved by contacting customer service. 13 is so sensational to work with I am absolutely certain that they would assist with these issues. They have a phone number and an email you can contact them through and they are the quickest people I’ve ever had respond to me in customer service. I literally had an issue buying baby clothes last week and their customer service team was slower than the Renpho bikes team.

I just want to reiterate how thankful I am for the amazing customer service team. And honestly how thankful I am for an affordable bike that I can use with an application because I would’ve had no idea where to start with spin if it wasn’t for the app or for the ability to use with an app. This is a beautifully made bike and I absolutely recommend it!

    BUY IT! DO IT!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersA friend who is an avid biker has tried to convince me to get an exercise bike for a long time. I have used Renpho’s products for years so when I saw the reviews, I decided to go for it and I’m glad I did. I have had this bike for over two weeks, and I love it. It took my son and I less than 10 minutes to assemble. I move the bike between my basement TV room and my office. It has two transportation wheels in the front and is not very heavy. The bike itself seems to be well built and the frequent movements between the two rooms do not seem to hurt it.
Adjusting the seats for various users is easy. Pairing it with Bluetooth the first time was very simple and now whenever I launch the app, the bike connects instantaneously with my phone.
Not being used to biking, it was really hard at first. After two weeks, I’m starting to build up stamina and it’s getting easier. I try to use the bike every day, but vary the form of exercise:
    1. Every other day I use the AI app and take class — I cast the app from my phone to my big screen Roku TV and it looks awesome.
    2. The other days I use the scenic rides (Paris, Alps) while watching sports or the news on TV. It’s still hard exercise, in 13 minutes I can easily burn 125 calories. However, it’s not as intense and I can multitask.
    3. I also use the bike in my home office on conference call meetings or webinars. It is quiet enough, so I can continue to pedal without my headset picking up the noise while I talk. I am not getting into the cardio zone doing this, but I’m still getting movement and some exercise instead of just sitting in a chair.
In the first 2 weeks I have lost 5 pounds without altering my diet. My goal is to lose 11 more. Having this bike is a great way to work out every day. Even if I don’t have a lot of time, it’s just easy to do 10-15 minutes on the bike and I feel so much better afterwards. I highly recommend this bike to anyone who would like to get in shape.

This bike is a great value. It connects to your phone/tablet through Bluetooth and is compatible with most major riding apps. Renpho has their own app with some prerecorded riding videos as well. Don’t expect Peleton-style live classes, but you are also getting a comparable bike with no monthly fees for 1/3 of the price. The bike has a charging port for your phone/tablet and runs off of a wall-wart style plug. The base is heavy and is adjustable to prevent movement while you are riding. The pedals are weighted and have adjustable straps. There are no built-in heart rate/caloric measurements or anything like that; but you can adjust the resistance with a spinner knob.

I would make a few improvements to the app; you can tell it was made for a phone and doesn’t automatically adjust to wide-screen on my tablet. I would also like to see a few more riding sessions; but I do use zwift more since I enjoy its gameification features.

Final thoughts, I would pick up this bike if you can self-motivate and don’t need the real-time classes or the expensive bike with a built-in screen. This will do most of that for a much much lower price.

Excellent fully-adjustable quality bike with Bluetooth for a great price

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersSuper simple to assemble and get going. The AI software pairs easily. The training in their app is fine but I bought mostly to use Zwift, one of their supported apps.
Bike pairs with Zwift well and supports ERG mode pretty well. I have found you feel the hills early and the hills end early… so it’s slightly out of sync.
Needs clip in pedals but since they are standard thread as you get better on the bike that’s something you can look to upgrade if you want to.
Seat and handles adjust easily – probably should have come with a water bottle holder… I got a Velcro one off Amazon and it works great.

Only real complain I have is when using Zwift and changing gears – sometimes be it up shift or downshift – the bike will jump to an insanely high resistance for less than half a second. But it’s super noticeable and if you are shifting while racing someone it totally screws up your cadence… it very much seems like a firmware issue on the bike.

For the price tho – this is an excellent smart trainer!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI got this bike specifically because it is Bluetooth FTMS enabled so I could use it with Holofit VR on the Oculus Quest 2. It works perfectly for that and spits out all sorts of data for Holofit to use. I didn’t expect much from the free IOS app and wound up being pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The target goals for maintaining cadence or watts or speed are great. I especially liked the initial set up where the app figures out your fitness level (it’s like a stress test on a treadmill at a doctors office). And that the app automatically adjusts resistance up or down during different workouts is awesome! The bike was very easy to put together, and it’s very easy to adjust quickly to fit different riders (helpful because my wife and I have a 10 inch height difference and we share the bike). Another nice feature is the tablet/phone/device holder – in addition to an angled shelf with a little lip, the surface of the shelf has a sticky pad that holds your device securely. Another nice feature is that the pedals/flywheel spin freely, meaning you can coast like on a real bike. The only drawbacks for me are that the seat is a little uncomfortable, and the bike doesn’t feel as sturdy/steady as some more expensive/heavier bikes. Neither of these are dealbreakers for me, it’s sturdy enough to workout on just fine, and I’ve replaced the seat with the same one I use on my road bike. Overall I recommend this bike because you can’t beat the features you get for this price.

I have a trainer already linked for my bike and was looking a stand alone bike. The likes are many and let me list out. It’s quiet and I can train and watch a movie without any noise. Compatible with zwift and also with AI gym renpho’s inbuilt pretty good. Also it’s easy to move and sturdy. Definitely a buy because you get a bike, a trainer and a lifetime subscription of AI gym as well. Only dislike is missing a bottle holder and the iPad app looks like iPhone app on a big display

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI found the bike very easy to set up – it is sturdy so it helps to have assistance unpacking it. Once set up, it is very easy to adjust the handlebar and seat height and the seat depth. The control knob is easy to use but you really get the most out of the bike using the app. I would like to see a built in heart rate monitor and a cage for a water bottle but other than that, the bike is sturdy, quiet and comfortable. The app has a few quirks (some menus only operate in portrait mode, I can’t change the background music, I would like to use Spotify while the app is running, etc.) but I’m hopeful that because this is a new product, these small issues will be resolved with app and software updates.

I was initially skeptical about ordering this bike online. I was worried about how sturdy it would be, would it be easy to assemble and if the classes that are touted in the description would be decent. I took spin classes for years and have pretty high standards when it comes to classes. My worries were totally unnecessary! I’ll start with the way the bike was shipped. I’ve never seen packing as sturdy and thorough as this. It does require two people to remove the bike from the packaging and it’s helpful to have someone to hold the bike while another tightens the screws…but, after that set-up is super fast and easy—took maybe 10 minutes.

The bike is high quality and very stable—way better than most gym’s spin bikes. Connecting the bike to the app is also easy and the classes are very good. Multiple levels and types (strength, endurance, etc.). And the best part is no subscription—I think this totally rivals the popular subscription bikes—and it’s way less expensive. Great way to get a terrific workout in at home.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this as a gift to my husband a few weeks ago. He loves it!

This bike is very practical indoor sports equipment and easy to assemble. The bike is SUPER STURDY and small enough to fit in the back of our closet. When we need it, we can just wheel it out into the bedroom and cycle in front of the TV. I can watch a few shows and catch up on episodes while riding. The bike seat feels comfortable the whole time. It feels better than a normal, hard bike seat which is a huge plus for me because I don’t feel any soreness from sitting for too long. It is excellent that the seat and handlebars are fully adjustable for a tall man like my husband. Changing the seat and handlebars is entirely simple, no screws needed.

Another advantage of this bike is the Al Gym App! It connects to the iPad while he rides so that he can follow his training program. There are a bunch of different training types he can choose from. Now he is working on his custom FTP Training Course. Either way, all of the App content is TRULY FREE no matter if it is him or I use it. Such good value for all of the features added on. Even the scenic rides are free too. And they are wonderful to workout with when I have nothing else on for TV.

The only function we haven’t tried yet is the game playability. We heard that you can race others in live time, which sounds neat but a bit intimidating for now. I think we will try to get in better shape first before racing anybody else. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the bike at all.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhere to start – such a well priced and well featured bike. App is great it works with Zwift and couple of other virtual cycling apps. Assembly took 20 min, bike is stabile and I am almost at the limit of allowed weight. Adjustments are smooth and continuous and no tools are needed. Seat is ok but that is personal preference once can buy 3rd party seat they like.

In essence it is Peleton for 40% of the cost and no subscription needed. Heart monitor capability is coming soon to app and then you only need to keep spinning to the fitness and less lbs.

Amazing and just right (efficient) value/price/future se

PACKAGING/DELIVERY/ASSEMBLY: the box was very well packed with Styrofoam and was easy to move the box upstairs (see photo); delivery took just under one week! The assembly was very simple and the design is very streamlined. Just attach: two leg stands, two pedals, seat and handle bars. Plug it in and that’s it!
CONNECTIVITY TO TABLET: download the app, create a profile, and the Bluetooth connects directly and automatically to the bike. It’s very seamless (honestly I was surprised how simple the connection was)! The physical resistance on the bike depends on the route you’re riding, and the app also reflects speed/pedaling on the screen. So the bike and the app are perfectly integrated.
PERFORMANCE: did my first ride and it was smooth and easy. The wheel is decently quiet and gives a hum like you would expect from any stationary bike. It was a good workout and was sweating within a few minutes. It was actually kind of hard and had to dial it to the lowest resistance; can’t wait to get stronger with this.
COST: the best advantage of having a bike like this is the cost. I really wanted to buy the advanced bikes at $2-$3K, but just couldn’t justify the expense and the delayed shipping. This is an excellent compromise.
OVERALL: I needed a cardio workout from home, and I finally got it! The Renpho AI Bike is well priced and has a streamlined design and is easy to use with its own app and ability to connect to other fitness apps. The only thing missing is that it doesn’t have a cup holder, but I can live without that!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis isn’t your grandparents’ exercise bike. This bike has Bluetooth. Now, you might be saying, “even my toothbrush has Bluetooth these days! Big deal.” But it is a big deal, because fitness apps have reached a degree of sophistication that will revolutionize how you exercise.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The box it came in is quite large and heavy, however, it is also packed very nicely and safely. All of the parts arrived wrapped in plastic, so all the parts are in brand new condition.

    ASSEMBLY
All the accessories are included, even a small toolkit which can be used to assemble the bike. Most of it is put together already – you only need to assemble the stabilizers (the long metal bars on the front and back of the bike’s base, which takes probably 2 minutes), and the front platform with the handlebars. Everything about assembly is super easy. It says to open the box with two people. I was able to do it myself. The instructions are very clear, and can be found in the user manual of the bike, which is very clean and compact. It took about 30 minutes to build.

    USE
Basically, you simply plug it in, download the Renpho AI Gym app, connect to your phone/tablet via Bluetooth, and you’re ready to start. The AI Gym app is able to record workouts, tell you your distance, calorie count, time, average wattage, as well as test your current fitness ability. It can show your “exercise record” on a daily, weekly, or monthly graph. It also has a few courses, including video courses, all for free. It’s a pretty decent resource and definitely adds value to the bike. However, if you want a really engaging experience, then I would recommend trying a third-party bike app like Zwift. Zwift is a sort of virtual reality exercise bike program that allows your avatar to bike through virtual “routes” alongside other cyclists. Along the way, it gives you helpful advice, speeds up and slows down your workout, so by the end of it you feel drained and rewarded. It’s a neat social experience that is so refreshing in the current times.

And that’s basically it. It’s a super solidly built bike (does not feel cheap AT ALL), with amazing functionality. It’s really easy to assemble. The ability to pair with your phone to access incredible workout resources makes this bike more than worth its price. After you try it once, you will be looking forward to your next workout immediately. The ability to pair with fun, engaging, and informative apps takes the pain out of stationary cycling. If you’re thinking about buying this bike for your home gym, do not hesitate!

If you haven't used a Bluetooth bike before, you're going to have so much fun.

I have now had the bike for just over a week. Once built, it’s a sturdy, quiet, quality item, quite basic in as much as you get on and peddle and it shows your status on the screen. It’s exactly what I wanted at a GREAT price. Purchased because of the early dark evenings when I can’t get out walking, also covid-19, so this will keep me active. I would highly recommend this exercise bike.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersLove the bike! Took about a week to arrive. Very heavy and large box. Super easy to assemble- I did it alone even though it says “2 person unboxing” on the app.
Turn the box upside down to unpack.
    EIGHT bolts! That’s it!
It’s sturdy, rides quiet. Fully adjustable height for handlebars and seat. Seat moves forward and backward to adjust for body height.
Love the apps! The training videos are awesome for anyone who has never done interval training.
I’m looking forward to meeting my weight goals this year!
I have paired this bike with the Renpho scale and my iPad. In fact, it was the scale that inspired the bike purchase.
In 2019, I lost 35 pounds at my local, favorite gym. In 2020, I put it all back on working my business online. Weah! What comes off- goes on- and off again!
    You can do it too!
Thanks Renpho for a great product!

Easy to assemble, smooth, quiet and fun app!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis bike is PERFECT for me!!! After my first go with a Sunny indoor bike was an ABSOLUTE disaster, the renpho bike was my second attempt at picking a worthy exercise bike. This time, I did a lot of homework because the renpho bike is a pretty big purchase. Watched 2 youtube reviews, checked out their renpho website , and read the other reviews off amazon. I have to say the AI powered bike lives up to all the hype. The amount of VALUE you get with this bike is AMAZING especially when you compare all the included content with overpriced peloton bikes. The highlights are the quick setup, perfect size of this bike, all the cool free courses, and the app which is what gives the bike its special capabilities. Its such a smart bike for a reasonable price. The ONLY down side I can think of is that it isnt the best to stand on this bike. I actually emailed renpho to ask about standing on this bike and was basically told that the “free wheel” design is meant to take away the riders need to stand up. For me it isn’t the worst news, because I can still stand up when I am going up against super high resistance. And at least the seat is comfortable to stay seated too. But it would still be nice to be able to stand up and pedal every once in a while to stretch your legs a bit. Overall I have to say this bike is an absolute yes, so I just ordered their scale from their renpho site too. Feeling confident it will be just as good.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWell with this lockdown due to the pandemic, I haven’t exactly been able to “maintain my weight.” The winter months has been difficult staying in and with everything shut down, hard to stay active. I’ve been binge watching a lot of shows late at night and eating tons of junk food. So I’ve gained about 15 pounds in the past 7-9 months.
I don’t like biking. It hurts. But I got this because talking with my brother in law, he’s a serious biker and recommends “trainer” bikes. My husband enjoys biking too. And if he decides to do virtual biking with my brother in law, this is compatible with Zwift. So I’m hoping that it won’t just be me using it. So far, we’ve had it for a few days. And we’ve used it everyday since we had it setup.

Set up is very easy! I was able to do it myself within 15 minutes. (This is with the kids “helping”.) I did noticed when I unpacked that there was a loose screw. Just to be on the safe side, I did react out to the support team. They answered right away and was super helpful. (They guided me step-by-step to make sure I was able to locate where that screw is supposed to go.)

The program that you can download is available on both the Apple platform and Android platform, and it’s free. (My husband uses the iPad, I’m an android user!)

A lot of great videos and even scenic routes to enjoy.
The one l thing that I really liked so far is that there any different videos for training purposes. There are longer videos for those who are still in shape but short ones too that are intense. It’ll be a long while before I will try attempting the longer duration ones. My husband has tried some of the medium duration/intensity training videos and likes them so far. He says its less boring than staring at a wall while you bike/train. So we’ve been using this more than the treadmill in the basement. I hoping to stay motivated and keep this up.
The bike is setup upstairs on our 2nd floor in front of the kids play space outside of our bedroom. But it’s super easy to roll it out of the way if needed. I can also bike early in the morning/in between my meetings if I want to since its so quiet.

Easy to stay motivated with the included training App! The bike seat is comfortable and Quiet!!

We received the package, with a bike, user manual, hardware tools.
The RENPHO home exercise bike weighs a sturdy 77 pounds. Its charcoal gray frame is 70 pounds of carbon steel, and provides quite resistance with a high-end smart motor damping belt drive.
A resistance knob sits centrally between the handlebars, this was easy to use.
The handlebars, height and of course saddle fore/aft are easily adjustable, which made it easy to replicate my basic measurements. It’s not uncommon for a family to share the bike, and I can’t see this being a problem, each user could mark their position with a piece of color coded tape to speed up swaps.
The bike provides an array of data feedback, but the key metrics are cadence, resistance and power. The power figure is not based on a reading from an internal strain gauge, as per a dedicated power meter. Instead, it’s an algorithm based on cadence and resistance thanks to the smart motor damping resistance – a reverse-engineered electric vehicle technology.

Overall, the Peloton is value for the price than other spinning name brand, it is very much geared towards the rider looking for training support rather than someone that wants to build or already has their own training regiment sorted. This bike is also a great option for users with busy lifestyles that do not allow them to go to conventional cycling classes.
I definitely recommend the RENPHO for someone who is new to exercise bikes or isn’t already enthusiastic about spin classes overall. Because of the app no requires a monthly membership fee, it is also as a model for avid riders and fitness fanatics rather and someone who’s starting to work on new fitness goals.

Golden Review Award: 62 From Our UsersProduct arrived today, ahead of the expected date (Jan 20), by Purolator and in excellent condition. Everything was well-packed inside, and easy to remove the packaging.

The bike comes primarily assembled, with only the two “feet” and the handle bars to attach, 8 bolts total. I am very impressed with the quality of the build – bolts tighten easily, nice clean welds, solid Loctite bolts. Study steel everywhere.

The holder for a book or tablet is a steel plate, with a gel pad on its surface, so your device will not slip around too much. The plate is a bit larger than a large smartphone. We tested the plate size and how well the gel pad holds with a 12.7″ iPad Pro. The device did not slide at all, for all levels of pedaling while sitting. When standing up on the pedals at max resistance, the motion of pumping arms gets the handles moving a bit, and the iPad slid from side to side a bit, but not enough to slide off. Any 10″ or smaller tablets, and all smartphones should have no problem with the plate size.

    Features I love:
    * the seat and handle bar height adjustments are awesome – you can set the heights to any increment you want, and are not limited to matching up holes. The handle for tightening is of excellent design, and it’s a breeze to get the handle tight, and just as easy to loosen and set to a new height
    * the seat – the padding is great, a nice dense gel foam, it feels to me. It has a hole in the seat, for helping keep things cool downstairs
    * four adjustable feet, to easily level it – when levelled, this bike feels incredibly stable, even when stepping up to “climbing” mode. And yes, it has enough resistance to do this and feel challenging.
    * the bluetooth controller can have multiple devices connected to it (my wife and I each have our phones paired to it, with our own accounts). Only one user can have the app open at a time, so if you are swapping with someone else just close the app and the other user’s device should connect immediately. When setting up your device, connect it in the AI Gym app, not in your device’s BT settings IE: read the manual (>.<) * the pedaling is SUPER smooth, thanks to magnetic resistance. The range of resistance is amazing, something for everyone. We have only used the bike for setting the seat and handlebar height, and to do a quick test of the stability, resistance levels (40, and 40 is pretty tough for me), and to look at the screen options (and figure out how to interact with it). Thus far, we are utterly impressed with everything we have seen. We bought it with a $200 coupon applied making this feel like an incredibly good buy. And after getting things up and running, we KNOW it was a steal. We are excited to get into the app tomorrow, which at first blush looks to be of very nice quality and has lots of workout options. I do not know for sure, but I am guessing/hoping that the app will be able to automatically adjust resistance via bluetooth based on the program we are running. At this time, we are not using Zwift app, but might look into it down the road. UPDATE: We've had a chance to dig in to the AI Gym app that is a free download, and is specifically designed to me used with the Renpho exercise cycle. While we certainly have not tried all the available training videos or routes, we tested enough different ones to get an understanding of what you get with AI Gym. * First thing we did was to complete the "ability test". This mode has the user ride at a steady cadence of 80 - 90 rpm. The resistance increases every minute, and you ride until you cannot pedal any longer. It then calculates your "FTP". The app then uses this number to determine what your ability level is when working out to the video classes or any of the different workout types (fat burn, strength training etc). As an example, my ftp was roughly double that of my wife. So when she does a workout, the app will adjust how much resistance is applied throughout the workout - everything from flat easy roads to steep hills, the effort needed to move the pedals will be lower than it would for me on the same workout. Do not skip this step! * I have completed one video class with a trainer. I started with an HIIT class about 15 mins long. The video downloads to the device, and doesn't take more than 1 minute on a decent network. I felt that the class was excellent, with very good advice throughout, with suggestions (ex, to pedal on the beat), the trainer counting in to beat changes and faster pace. The smart AI automatically adjusted resistance as the workout progressed, continually challenging me. I was soaked when finished! * I tried cycling along one of the scenic routes. This was also a great workout, and quite fun. I could see the road grades on the screen HUD, as well as speed, distance covered, and the current RPM. The display on the control dial on the bike changed to show gears for this workout (which I discovered after riding for 10 minutes), so you can rotate the dial up or down to change gears (8 gears total). At one point, went I was atop a bit of a hill, I dialed up to 8th gear and gave it all I had - got up to 51 km/hr and the scenery was flying by so much quicker....very cool! And no fear of wiping out! This video downloaded as well, so I see a trend here 😛 * My wife tried one of the program workouts. When entering into this menu, the app displays several workouts to choose from, each one depicting a graph of the workout. The colour of the bars indicates the effort for that segment. As an example, the workout might start with grey bars for 1 minute, representing 50% of your FTP and thus scaling down the resistance. Then it could switch to blue bars for 30 secs, at 80% of your FTP so you will be pushing harder, but maintaining a steady cadence - the app will tell you if you are! Again, the resistance adjusts automatically as segments change. So cool. * For the sake of discovery, I launched one of the map routes. Essentially, it looks like a google map of a city, with a route highlighted through the city streets. As it turns out, three other people joined the route around the same time I did. I left after 30 seconds, but it appears the idea is that if I am in last place, I need to pedal my butt off to catch up! I could see the dots of the other cyclists on the route. Again, this is all done if a street overview, and not actually riding through city scenery. But still good fun when you want to challenge others! * Lastly, if you just want to jump on and ride, you can select from 1) a timed workout, ii) a workout based on a chosen distance, or c) set a goal based on calories burned. Start pedaling at whatever pace you want, and change the resistance by spinning the dial when you feel the need. We've had no issues with the app stability. The videos play perfectly and in high quality on our Samsung and OnePlus phones. I did try it on an inexpensive android tablet that I purchased for this specific purpose, but the video was far too choppy. The tablet said it had an octo-core, so maybe it was quad, but it only had 2GB ram and I am guessing that is where the problem lays. Tablet went back. And while it has only been 3 days we have had this unit, I feel 100% confident that we made an excellent buying choice with Renpho, and anticipate that our new exercise cycle will be getting a lot of use. At this point, I cannot think of one thing that I would chose to change on the bike, or in the app. - Sneakypita.

The resistance automatically changes with the instructor is a big plus. The bike is built well and doesn’t wobble even when I’m riding fast. This has become my main source of cardio. Now the statement from my wife who is riding it – I absolutely love my new renpho bike. It is very compact and doesn’t take up much space. I am very technologically challenged and it has been very easy for me to figure out how to use it, how to tool around with the different programs, and how to change set up and settings for the bike. I was surprised at what a great work out I was able to get on it. Usually exercise bikes are super boring to me but this one is so much fun because you can choose classes or a beautiful ride through Paris. So many fun options with it and even my daughter enjoyed playing around with it. I highly recommend this bike to anyone and you can’t beat it for the price compared to others that are similar.

If the stabilizers feet are installed and leveled correctly to match one’s floor situation, no wobbling should occur( if you place it on a tile floor).

I texted the seller through the amazon app. and received a response from an AI named SPENCER!
AI SPENCER immediately reminded me of the bike’s 1 yr warranty, and said not to worry !
    Indeed! The part arrived today!

    Reasons for purchasing this?

1)I like this brand! I have the digital scale, and tape measure; and have been very satisfied with their performances.

2)I have been doing a 20:4 hrs fasting regiment since after Thanksgiving, and have lost 15 lbs( with no exercises!). I began to feel like exercising; once I lost the weight; and gained so much energy. But, I didn’t feel comfortable with the idea of going to a gym anymore ( for obvious reasons!)!

    And I thought:

Why not purchase some AI BIKE from a brand that I already know?

    LIKES:

    Very comfortable
    Relatively light
Very simple to assemble ( comes 95%) pre assembled! (Took me less than 20 min to assembled it! ).
    Free app!
    Free workout coaching and tracking!
I see this AI BIKE as “THE PELOTON AI BIKE that a BLUE collar worker can afford”( that’s me!)

    DISLIKES:

    Only one thing:

MY AI BIKE came missing one leveling feet on the back stabilizing bar( see pictures).

I contacted the seller today( via Amazon), and I am certain that the seller will ship me the remaining missing piece( minor stuff!)

I can still enjoy my bike, as it is, and have been riding it, since last night; it’s a lot of fun!).

I also love the design of the bike, it’s not huge and chunky like the gym stationary bikes, it’s sleek and small and sturdy! I highly recommend getting this bike! If I remember, I will update you guys in a month/ two months when it’s more broken in. 🙂

I got my Renpho’s products and really surprised for their latest launch of the Ai smart bike.
As I was looking for the alternatives with more reasonable price, I finally picked Renpho for a try and I am glad I did.
With a simple set up and assembly, two peoples may be needed to flip the bike around (well, I can do it myself).
The riding experience is awesome, good Bluetooth connection with its free app, I do like the short trainer-led classes (around 10-25 minutes), I am sure I will get a good workout.
I saw other Renpho products with a very decent price, too. For sure this Renpho bike will be one of their great product and highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to complete my at-home gym and use actively while I’m on work calls.

Overall, I’m happy with it and am able to make it work with my current home office. I have not used the AI features yet but the apps does work as intended on a Samsung Galaxy S20+ and iPad Mini (2016 model).

    Pros:
    1-person assembly
Adjustable footholds so it does not wobble
Quiet at lower speeds so it is not picked up by my work mic
The handle-bars can be removed and it can slide under my standing desk (workout while working!)
Relatively light-weight and easy to move around
Does not scratch my floors (hardwood)

    Cons:
    I would prefer a USB-C port to a USB type-A

I have absolutely loved my purchase. The set up was very easy to do with the tools provided. The bike was built very sturdy! I’m 6’2″ and 230 lbs and the bike is rock solid. The best part of the RENPHO experience has been the price. You get the personalization and experience without the high dollar costs from other at home fitness options.
When taking a class on the RENPHO, you see your cadence (revolutions per minute), output on the screen, just like on the Peloton Bike. Measured in Watts(one to 400), output is a combination of your resistance and cadence. If you increase your resistance and/or cadence, your output will rise, and vice versa. During RENPHO(and Peloton) bike workouts, the instructors tell you to aim for a specific cadence and resistance level.
Thanks for building a great product and awesome experience. it’s well worth the money!

Well designed exercise bike, good instructor classes

The machine itself is well built and I’ve never worried about tipping over even on sprints. The magnetic wheel is fairly quiet. There are a lot of adjustable areas to make sure the bike is as comfortable as bikes can be.

The app includes a lot of workouts by default with no subscription fee (both programs and video classes) – I’ve done a few of the strength and fat burning programs and they’ve kept my heart rates in the appropriate ranges. The virtual courses are a fun distraction. The app doesn’t link to heart rate monitors yet but that’s supposed to be in a future update. The ability for exercise programs to automatically adjust the resistance is a big plus compared to bikes that require manual adjustment. The bike is compatible with zwift, though I haven’t gotten my garmin watch to pick it up. All in all, I think the extra that you pay compared to the lower tier is worth it.

Finally got my renpho exercise bike!! I have been thinking about trying an indoor bike for a while, but when I saw this AI Powered bike I knew I had to try. SO cool! Built it in less than half an hour and I have been using it every day since. I love that it offers a customized training program with the free app. I also have been liking the trianer classes. My favorite fitness purchase yet.

It is an amazing exercise bike for the price. I really love the equipment, especially the app that comes with it for free. I can exercise any time during the day. I usually spend 20 minutes per day for a workout. During weekend I’d try their scenic ride option which is quite cool. So far, the seat is comfortable enough, and the seats and handlebar are easily adjustable. Too bad there is no screen that comes with the bike, but I just connect with my iPad at home and it works great, sometimes I just put on a TV show. Overall, I am very pleased with the Bike for the price!

Golden Review Award: 39 From Our UsersI have been using my RENPHO AI-Powered Bike for about a 2 weeks nowAll I can say is WOWI used to ride with SoulCycle every week, until my gym shutdown for COVID. Since, Xmas is right around the corner, I figured I would treat myself to a stationary bike at home.
I had some high expectations when looking for a bike, I really needed something that could replace my SoulCycle routine I wanted something that could fit in my small office/
living room (preferably looks nice). Bike comes with training content (I’m definitely not a pro YET) and is easy-to-use. So at first, my mind immediately jumped to PELOTON. But when I checked out their site it seemed really hard to justify $2,000+ as a gift for myself, not to mention there are added membership fees…? $$ I am super impressed with RENPHO, price tag is the WOW factor My husband has been using a RENPHO smart scale and massage gun for over two years now and both were super affordable so when I saw that this brand also offered an indoor bike, I wasn’t nervous about the price tag. After all it is less than HALF the price of PELOTON and even less than a thousand bucks. AlsoTHERE IS SO MUCH FREE CONTENT INCLUDED I downloaded their “AI Gym” app, connected it to the bike, and was good to go— there are professional trainer classes, scenic, rides, challenge rides— FOR FREE you really can’t beat free. Also, you can even ride in REAL time with international riders, which is really cool and entertaining. (I haven’t won a live race yet, but I am training to get there) As for the size of the bike- NOT BAD AT ALL. I was nervous when I got the huge delivery box, but actually after the assembly (took less than 10 mins, by the way) It fits in the corner of my small office/living room and definitely isn’t an eyesore. The seat and setup is wicked comfortable. The seat height and distance and handlebars are all
adjustable. seat is cushioned (more comfortable than the SoulCycle seat). DEFINITELY THE BEST PURCHASE OF THE YEAR— I couldn’t be happier. Way to go RENPHO!!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersUnlike your standard indoor cycling bike, the smart, connected RENPHO comes equipped with a companion app”AI Gym” so you can follow along in many of on-demand classes. (NO costs for membership, so gives you access to RENPHO’s on-demand classes and programs, FTP power training, as well as scenic riding.) There’s also your profile, where you can see your total workouts: time, mileage, count, calorie, etc.
Using Bluetooth, In addition to the original AI Gym APP, it’s also compatible virtual cycling apps: Zwift, Kinomap, FulGaz, Rouvy, XERT, The Sufferfest. Break into the virtual realms of Zwift and compete against cyclists around the world.
Every day, I put on my workout clothes, put my sneakers into the bike, power on the AI bike, and cycling to FTP power training for at least half an hour. It’s one of the only activities that makes me forget the world is basically on COVID-19.
During an on-demand class you might be asked to keep your resistance anywhere between 10 to 20 while pedaling at a cadence of about 60 to 70 rpm to mimic the feeling of riding on flat, even pavement while the beat of the music is nice and slow.
Then, when the speed of the music gets faster or more intense, you’ll be asked to increase the resistance to about 20 to 40 while pedaling at a cadence of 80 to 90 rpm. This basically feels similar to the feeling of riding uphill.
In terms of design, the bike is made out of carbon structural steel, coming in at 3.1 feet long and 1.4 feet wide(4.3 sq.ft), the RENPHO is compact enough that you could squeeze it in your living room or maybe even your bedroom. The height of the handlebars, seat, and display are all easily adjustable too. For someone with tall arms and legs like me, it also easily to find a comfortable sweet spot.
The workouts are tough, but the captivating experience and much list of exercise classes are enough to make me want to glue myself to the airflow seat and stay in the magical RENPHO world forever.
