Reolink 3G/4G LTE Security Camera Outdoor Wireless, 4MP Go PT Plus+Solar Panel+32GB SD Card, Battery Operated with 360° Pan-Tilt View, 2K Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, Person/Vehicle Detection, IP65
Go Anywhere with Peace of Mind
With the solar panel, this surveillance 4g camera doesnât require WiFi or wired connections. Thanks to IP65 waterproof, the ptz camera can work in harsh conditions, rain or shine. It’s ideal for hotels, vacation homes, country houses, campers, RV, or trailers, workplace and warehouse, farms, ranches, or stables, construction sites, monitor anything, anywhere!
Bought it for a friend who says it does just what she wanted. It must be easy to setup because she had ZERO experience of these things … she had help from another friend who made a similar Reo work to her desire … with no help. Can’t get better than that.
Really good system that does what says it’ll do. Had an issue with the camera after 18 months that was replaced, without question, after carrying out a few checks. Excellent service!
Using this to monitor a horse, good picture, easy to use, excellent night vision. Solar panel will do about 50% of the battery on a sunny day , 10% on overcast/sunny spells and on over cast very little. Check it a few times a day and using about 50% battery in a week, but depends on how you use i
Used as a field shelter camera, so I can keep an eye on my old horse. Works well in both day and night time, impressed with range.
I had an issue with the solar panel not charging the camera (works fine on mains), they replaced the solar panel, which didn’t solve the issue, was then told it was because of the SIM card I was using. Eventually they agreed to replace the entire unit as it had never worked. Replacement arrived today and seems to be charging of the panel
Easy to set up, SIM card required, the app is easy to use. I have not yet sited the cameras due to the weather, however I do have a Reolink camera connected in my motorhome, that has a live feed and I can connect to it
at any time very clear recordings really good camera.
I intend to have my new cameras sited at the front and rear of my home when the weather picks up.
Great camera for CCTV that I wanted for my boat. Good night pictures as well, being able to look in all directions could not ask for better. I bought 4g lte type as no wifi on the boat and still good working that way. So would recommend to anyone
We installed this in our horse field and its brilliant. TBH the motion detection only works if the person is within about ten metres but that’s ok as we mainly wanted it to check on our horses and didn’t want it triggering all the time by our horses wondering about in the neighbouring field. I can spin it around remotely 360 degrees and watch my horses when on holiday. Brilliant!! no electric needed.
If you buy a sim only – be aware that you need a phone that matches the SIm – we used vodaphone as you have to put the sim in a phone first to register it. Then it works fine. really pleased with it.
Love being able to check in on my horses. I have it in a spot with 4g and as long as I have good signal where I am with my phone it works great. I tend to go down to the ‘fluent’ quality setting when I want to move the camera and then up it to the high quality one if I want to zoom in down the field
This is the second one we’ve purchased, does what we purchased it for, although sometimes we have difficulty getting a signal, but this the fault of the camera but our network. My husband likes that he can sit at home and be alerted of anything untoward going on. Would recommend
Everything was fine, until it suddenly stopped working. Now I assumed the data sim had run out so got another one and still nothing. I’ve checked the old sim and 109gb of data on it still so I’m assuming there is a fault with the camera. How do I get this sorted?
We purchased this to use in the shed for cows calving. Has served its purpose well. Clear picture, added bonus of sound and also night vision works great too.
Set up was pretty straight forward.
I have fair IT skills but I found this challenging to set up and the lack of clear written instructions didn’t help. Perseverance and determination paid off and once installed, it seems to be working as expected. Picture quality is good and motion detection reasonable.
I have one of these already and bought another one as I have a few mares dues to foal it is a fantastic camera clear picture and does what it says on the box.
for the price this camera is just great all round unit, great picture issues with my sim installed but changed and better service.. reolink even returned a few pounds as good will gesture.. great after service .. just need to see how long it performs in weather we have here. In fact just bought another.
This is a good unit but there are a few issues.
The solar panel is not charging faster than the unit uses power. The panel has no shadows across it at any time of the day and is angled due South and correctly to the sun, but UK winter sun is not enough for it and it is discharging slowly…..battery/solar only lasted a week.
PIR recordings are good but delayed start. Our home system allows us to set recordings to start 10 secs before the detection point so we see the full action. On Reolink tge recording starts quite late.
Menu system in the App keeps a lot of thungs difficult to find and set up. Frustrating.
Optics is very good.
Connecting is not reliable but unsure if this is the unit or mobile coverage problems.
Overall good but could he better ..
>>>>> Additional note 2 months on……
The camera came with a 3W solar panel. Facing South at the correct angle, the camera still steadily discharged. Reo tech support had no solution (they could only suggest checking the solar panel setup, which I checked and it was fine). I bought the Reolink 6W solar panel sorted and this instantly sorted the problem. The Reo camera needs this 6W panel to work in the UK in the Winter with a low sun and frequent cloud…….the camera should come with a 6W solar panel as Standard!!!! Reo please take note!!!!
Works amazing as we live on a farm and main gates are over 100m from the property so Wi-Fi was out of the question but this works off 4g sim with unlimited data so we can view everything anytime without costing a penny. Will definitely be buying a couple more for other areas so we can see what’s going on day and night.
I can’t believe I sat on the fence about this product – wasted so much time in delaying this buy – yet it is my best ever purchase and I even bought a 2nd one within a week after.
2nd camera from reolink.
Easy enough to set up, even for a technophobe like me!
Good quality images (even at night) I like the pan and tilt function, can scan the whole area easily
Excellent camera and great quality for the money, easy to setup and use, only ever charged once when I took it out of the box, solar panel does the job, definitely worth it,I’ll probably get another one
Really happy with the camera. Easy to control clear. Only reason gave four stars was battery life a bit short and I didn’t find the solar panel to be thar effective. I’m goinh to plug it in to a power supply in a near by building. I’m using it to try and help prevent crime.
Remember to fully charge the unit before you put it up. Great peace of kit.. signing up for 4g was an issue from a mobile phone, but from a laptop was ok. Since we’ve had alot of cold weather the charge went down very low, and that is an issue of up high
Which ours is, to stop theft.
Bought this product to use as our main CCTV Camera watching our assets on a farm where there was no power or Wi-Fi available. The solar charging is more than adequate to keep the camera on all the time and we went with a Vodafone Data Sim which allows seamless viewing. The notifications are instant and can distinguish between vehicles and people which is very useful and I can set timelines so I only get notified when I know no one will be there. Highly recommend as a rural solution or anywhere where internet isn’t available from Wi-Fi
I’ve had this camera now for 2 years on the inside of my boat, using a Virgin V-SIM, and it has been excellent. Reliable, stable accurate image, very good night vision. The solar panel works well during summer, but in winter I’ve been running it from the boats leisure batteries because there is not enough daylight to charge the cameras battery. The PTZ is accurate and sensitive. I found that i had to turn the PIR off because its just way too sensitive in a confined space like a boat. The App is very good and easy to use. Overall, two years in and still very pleased with the product, its expensive compared with cheap alternatives, but you do get what you pay for.
I now have 3 of these cameras and they are first class. There was a fault on the last one as the connection fitting was slack. And I’ve got to say the company did everything to rectify this. Their after sales was really good.
Question would I buy again. Definitely
This camera is so versatile if you haven’t got WiFi, that’s the whole point of it!
I found it simple to install and set up, the app is great and easy to follow.
I can keep track of my dogs when we’re away from our holiday home, and speak to them and listen if there’s any barking.
I know they’re pricy, but if you haven’t got WiFi and only have a 3/4g signal, then these perform just as well as my hard wired HD cameras back home.
I’d certainly buy from Reolink again.
Fa esattamente quello che deve…funziona molto bene, rileva i movimenti ed perfetta da installare in luoghi in cui non c’ corrente e Wi fi. Per quanto mi riguarda, ottimo acquisto
Very clear picture. It moves around well to give a different view. Downside is it often freezes the picture and comes back when people have disappeared. Most annoying. Moving the camera can be problematic at times, it also freezes. May be the signal . We have had a vehicle alert and it turned out to be a nosey cat walking the fence. Very sensitive have had a close up of a spider but that was motion. Other times at night it has recorded and I can only assume it was insects as nothing else shows up. Despite all this, surprisingly I do recommend it. It is the 2nd Reolink we have bought. The other one isn’t as high quality picture but we have been very pleased with it. This one is more temperamental but it does what we want, mostly, or it would have been given 5 stars.
On opening the box, the Reolink 3G/4G LTE Security Camera has a quality feel to it with the camera itself being heavier in comparison to other similar cameras and the fixings feel strong and not cheap. It gives the impression of a well-designed camera setup that will last.
The same can be said for the solar panel and mounting bracket. Robust with a quality feel about them. I fitted this first which was very easy, the bracket has lots of movement so you can easily point the panel in the most effective direction. The cable is long so the camera can be a distance from the solar panel if needs be. In fact for my placing, the cable was far longer than needed but if you are placing the camera in a tree for instance, having a longer cable allows you to position the solar panel in a place less likely to be impacted by foliage – on this note, it is worth fitting this when there is foliage and not in the winter, should you believe your solar panel location could be impacted by leaves etc.
Installing the camera is straight forward enough but do make sure you choose the correct SIM card. I found finding the sim card slot harder as it is in the black camera head and not on the larger white body (the SD card is here too with a 32GB card already fitted).
Once I had internet connectivity, I set about setting up the camera, using the live feed to make sure I picked the most appropriate spot. I spent around an hour testing the camera in different locations to ensure I picked the perfect spot and at this point I noticed the data usage is quite high at the default settings. My initial testing used nearly 10GB of data at the default settings, so it is a bit of bandwidth hog at best quality when streaming all the time. I will play around with the resolution settings to get a good balance of quality and data use, but even then, you won’t want the PIR sensor picking up false movement. The quality of the video stream is excellent though and I had no issues with frame drops or buffering – this will of course be dependent on the mobile coverage you have – mine is often better than the fixed line internet.
Once installed I had a play around with the PTZ for moving the head around on demand. The movement on the app is a bit clunky but you get the hang of it and it’s a nice feature, although once the camera is set in a good position, I doubt I’ll move it much. It could be useful if there is an intruder though as you can follow them around. The range of movement available is excellent and it is a nice addition to have.
Overall, it’s a quality camera with good picture but I do have reservations regarding the data usage and will go for an unlimited data SIM to avoid costly usage charges. A nice addition would have been to have had both Wi-Fi and mobile data, especially as the app always seems try to connect to it via Wi-Fi first. It is expensive but the addition of the solar panel means it can be used in areas where getting power to it would be difficult (just point the panel in the right direction and give it some tilt to allow dirt to fall off).
If you’re looking for a decent camera to monitor things outside your home, this might the right choice for you. Its a 3g/4g lte solar cellular security camera with amazing quality. Battery operated with 360 degree tilt to capture all areas, 2k night vison with a two way talk system.
It was very easy to use and set up, includes all the hardware needed and even comes with a small solar panel so you don’t need to take it down to charge and it is very weather resistant.
Overall, it seems well made, durable, sturdy and with such an easy installation, it really did seem perfect. Unfortunately it DOES NOT support WiFi connection so you will need a preloaded data SIM Card.
Great camera for sheds and garages where you don’t have power or the WiFi signal doesn’t reach.
The quality of the footage for both day and night are brilliant, and I can clearly see what is going on in the garden. The camera takes a SD card and with enough storage you can record as much as you want. Motion detection is good, easy installation. The solar panel has worked well even though sunshine has been scarce recently.
No WiFi capability so you do need to pay for a data-only sim once the free data runs out.
So we bought the camera not expecting too much but to be honest, it’s a great little tool. It’s easy to setup, small and with good (but not perfect) resolution. Ideally it could use a larger sensor (currently 4mp) but you have to keep in mind that the data is going to be sent over the mobile network so more data means more cost. Currently the Camera is 100 miles from our home and logging in is quick with the camera motion clean and steady. We don’t use the night vision or the motion detection so I can’t comment on these functions. Overall it gets a good thumbs up from me
Night vision is top quality, motion detection is great and I get alerts if anyone goes near my field. Great way to keep an eye on my horse’s and peace of mind for myself.
Good camera, good signal on 4g. Good battery life from solar. Just the motion detection could be better. Shame you can’t tell it what areas to trigger as seems to startup as vechile is nearly leaving view. Hopefully Reolink could improve this
I should have read the full description before ordering this camera… I feel disappointed that it doesn’t work via WiFi but with sim card with data loaded in. I found that option useless in my circumstances. It’s an extra cost to me so will not be using it, sadly.
As soon as I switched the camera on, it literally speaks to me with female voice saying that ‘sim card cannot be recognised ‘ and asking for sim card, without it will not go ahead..
Camera comes with solar panel which meant to charge the camera. The panel looks very modern and better quality than the one from my other solar powered camera. I also was surprised that this modern looking camera is powered by micro usb cable connection, not the one type C popular currently. Camera should be charged from main before installing outdoors to make sure it has enough power to set it up and to extend its battery life.
The camera will require an app to download. App is called Reolink App. Through this app we set up everything, as it will show us step by step. Once set up, we can customise other settings the way we want.
The manual instruction book is nicely written, with details and images so it helps a lot. There is also separate instruction for solar panel installation. That’s because the camera is also sold individually, solar panel also individually. But I received the full kit, camera + solar panel, buckle strap and brace for the camera, antenna and paperwork.
This camera is good for people who can afford data on sim and dont have strong signal outdoors or wifi at all. I think it will take pretty much extra spend.
Camera is very expensive but quality seems be good.
L’ho comprata per la casa in campagna, sotto suggerimento di un amico. Davvero un ottimo prodotto, facile da installare e da utilizzare, la visione perfetta cos come la gestione da remoto tramite App. Consigliatissimo.
Great product but lacks clear info about best or appropriate SIM
After much googling I came to realise that the Vodafone SMART sim is the one to choose! I installed this today to find I get 3 months free then 4 per month. That is terrific but should be made clear in BIG letters to buyers of the device.
Got this to monitor our horse whilst in the stable, will be moving it out to the field in the summer, the camera its self is pretty decent the software is a bit touch and go, your sort of forced to watch in lower quality.
You are forced really to go with Vodaphone, which is not really a problem the deal is quiet good pay 4 a month and its unlimited, tried with every other mobile company and no knew what I was going on about even when I explained, when I did finally get through to what it is I wanted the cost was astronomical!
The features are good, the sound is good to but the Talk feature is awful and does not work. the battery life is reasonable, I bought it with the solar panel I cant really comment on the panel as where it is installed isn’t the beast due to trees shading so every 2 weeks or so we have to unplug it and plug it in to the mains for a charge! will be able to comment on the solar panel over the summer when its out on a tree in the field!
My better half sits there for hours watching him eat and sleep (he snores very loud!)
I would recommend, but ensure you check the signal in the area you want to put it before hand!
I cannot recommend this camera enough. The peace of mind being able to check on my horse at night is priceless. The picture quality is brilliant, the solar panel isn’t very effective over winter but the camera lasts a good couple of weeks on one charge alone. It was also very easy to set up.
5 stars isn’t enough.
Excellent quality camera for outdoors. We’re using this camera at a stable yard for security and to check on the horses . Easy to set up and using the app is also quite easy.I’ve got a 3 network SIM card in the camera and it works fine in our area . The only down side is there is no zoom feature but picture quality is very good night vision good .The two way audio is a waste of time with the apple app as there is no feature to turn the volume up like on the android app.
Overall a good camera for the money when on offer as the quality is excellent and the solar panel keeps the battery topped up.
I’ve just bought another as it was in the sale .
Was honestly a pain in the ass to set up, think thats more down to Vodafone rather than the product though, just needed resetting as it stopped speaking in the set up process – other than that its a fab product that allows extra security where previously we wouldmt have these options (with no Wi-Fi). The way I have it set up I can’t see outside if I see inside the stables of a night, think would be very clear of a night outside but my placement doesn’t allow for i
Camera was a absolute nightmare for the 1st few days the kbps kept dropping I couldn’t find out the reasone why, I done my own investigation I ordered another SIM was doing the same thing I knew it was a connection problem so I ordered a new Arial was a little better but the carried on dropping connection I relocated the camera over different locations at my address the connection was still bad so I ordered a 3rd SIM with another provider EE with data and it now works like a dream my 1st 2 Sim card were the Vodafone v-sim pay a bit more money on your SIM provider and you won’t have a issue with this camera also it’s not too bad seeltting up but you have to be a little technical minded overal I’m happy that I made the purchase now
Just what I wanted! Have been using trail cameras to track hedgehogs in my garden but there are so “old world” almost analogue. Setting up is step by step. Going out in the morning to collect the sd cards. Transferring to the computer. Changing format. Loading onto whatsapp to share. NOT ANYMORE! This thing takes care of everything… Everything is done on the app from the comfort of my bed! Oh, and what’s more I share the camera with other people, who can watch the action live or playback the videos. They’re in Portsmouth and Liverpool whilst I’m in Sheffield. I AM SUPER IMPRESSED!!! Awaiting delivery of a 2nd static camera this morning!!!
Is pent all last night up late talking to amazon staff inquiring which o2 sim is compatible for this…so after a couple of hours trying they gave me reolinks address to message them the question and their answer was exactly…
Thanks for the message.
Reolink Go PT supports O2 SIM card.
We’d like to recommend you to take the camera to the local store for help.
Any further questions, please feel free to let us know.
Have a nice day.
Best regards
ReolinkEU-Iris
So I now have to get a lift or bus 30 miles away out of my small village with my camera in hand to a o2 shop hopping they can answer the questions RIOLINK can’t!! Not happy!!
(I can only use o2 sims in my location)
Our Reolink cameras in the UK are located on rural properties and monitored remotely 24hrs by Property Security Group Limited. In the six months we have these deployed on sites across the Country, they have detected and recorded images of thieves, vandals and fly tippers (dumping their trade and building waste on private property).
They do not require electricity, telephone, broadband or wi-fi connection so they are ideal for our rural locations.
The external 24hr monitoring has allowed for immediate response to threats which has made the Reolink 4G cameras a huge advance in property security
If you are looking for a camera to check in on your property when away or keeping an eye on livestock then this is great, if you are looking for a genuine security camera it’s only ok. The motion detection seems too sensitive sometimes and non existent when needed. The fact it is recommended to be placed no higher than 9 foot seems a bit ridiculous for a security camera too as its a very reachable height. It’s not terrible as a security camera but it’s not great, edit the solar panel does not charge the camera on dull days in the winter, reolinks advice is to take them down and charge from the mains which defeats the purpose of the solar panel, camera won’t link to the app once battery gets below about 18% we have had no charging for about 4 days now in Ja
I would have given this camera 5 stars but I had quite a few teething problems getting it going, then when I wanted to telephone customer service I could not speak to anyone and it was by email which with time differences is like snail mail! I know this seems to be the case everywhere these days companies reluctant to give phone numbers and no telephone support but it’s my opinion this is a massive failing in customer service. I use this for my horses so I can check on them. It gives excellent peace of mind. I felt the price is too high really ad not understanding how the difference between the sim ones as opposed to WiFi are so much more but it’s a good investment for us if it keeps working through the winter too
I use the camera for remote security at a site very distant from power or internet, so the Go PT is ideal. I’ve written a review before but thought 6 months of experience would be worth noting. What really impresses me is the tiny solar panel has been able to keep the camera near maximum charge all over the UK winter (November 20 till end of April 21 and still going strong). The Vodaphone link at 4 quid a month is a great deal and it works very well after a doddle of a setup. Just occasionally it slows or fails to link for a short while and this seems to be during times you would expect the mobile network to be very busy so no big surprise. All in, a great camera, superb colour balance, bright and wide spread IR night vision and reliably trips and notifies from everything from a squirrel upwards (6-8m or so). I use it on the higher resolution. Very few false pings when set at a little below maximum sensitivity. Customer service continues to be great following some recent queries, lovely polite messages and they actually answer you personally and don’t just dole out standard lines. Note, the SD card auto-overwrites when full which is great but not mentioned anywhere I could find. The time lapse feature is fantastic and not something they really advertise, it runs in the background of any of your other settings, genius!
Suggestions: 1. Make a camouflage skin for it (and the panel+cable!). 2. Allow software to set a high resolution setting for what it saves to SD card but optionally a fluid mode for quick live viewing without having to switch to fluid and back again.
Seriously Reolink, where have you been all my life?!
Overall very pleased with this camera.which supplements 3 other fixed Go 4g cameras.
It was easy to set up, especially if familiar with the Vodafone 4g procedure.
Hopefully it will be weather resilient as it doesn’t have any additional silicon cover like the other Go cameras.
Only major disappointment is that it cannot auto-centre, ie return to a preset location. Reolink have confirmed that they cannot configure it to do this.
I am a fan of these 4g cameras and the flexibility they offer. Just hope nobody unscrews them and walks off with them though!
A very clever piece of kit if you don’t have WiFi on a property or power but it does have issues so not perfect
Picture quality is good with lots of options
Ease of use is very good not ok for a beginner but if you have some technical knowledge it’s fine
Features are good with the ability to move the area of vision and change the sensitivity of the sensor
Storage is good with an micro sd card up to 32gb is recommended
Also plenty of modes for day and night capture.
SIM card from Vodafone is supplied and very cheap to use only 5 pm
Issues :
Solar charger does not function well unless there is plenty of sunlight and pointed in the optimum direction
Capture seems delayed depending on quality of picture and sensor setting this for me what the biggest letdown
Downloading or viewing playback is totally dependent on the reception of the 4g
Overall I would recommend this camera if you don’t have any power or WiFi but if you do have WiFi I would recommend the other models as they have cloud storage and are quicker to record
I bought this Reolink 3G/4G LTE Pan Tilt Solar Security Camera to go in a wooded area that has no electricity. In fairness, I wasn’t expecting too much from the camera, but I have been pleasantly surprised.
The Installation of the SIM card was extremely easy. I purchased a ‘Three’ SIM card, as Three has the best reception in our area. It was simple to activate (I simply popped it in and it just found the signal, so it couldn’t be any easier than that!), and place in the camera.
The app is easy to operate once I downloaded it from the apple store for free. It’s functionality is excellent. I tested it indoors first (I didn’t want to put it up a height, then find out it doesn’t work), and it even picked a strong signal there.
Installation: I installed the camera on the main trunk of a Sycamore tree about 10ft off the ground. I then installed the Solar panel about a further 10ft up the tree facing south, at an angle.
Functionality: The pan-tilt works good, and the email alerts are excellent (Mainly from wildlife in our case!), all controlled from the app. The speaker function is quite handy, if you need to get the attention of someone.
Battery life: The PTZ camera is using approximately 3% battery life per day (this is allowing it to work on it’s own with the alerts, rathe than viewing it all the time), but when the Sun shines (I installed it in November, and we live up North, so not much Sun at present!) it does put that amount back in. I would recommend fully charging the camera using the lead provided before installation – I used an iPhone charging plug and the lead supplied.
Picture quality: In daylight the picture quality is extremely good, and we can see a great deal of distance with good clarity. The zoom function works well too. At night, I would estimate that we can see about 20m in complete darkness, which isn’t too bad at all. Certainly good enough for what we need.
Negatives: Only a couple of small points – The bracket that holds the camera was plastic, which was really strange, as everything else was of exceptional quality. For example, the bracket that holds the solar panel is a heavy duty steel item, but the one that holds the camera (which is substantially heavier), was moulded plastic. In my view the manufacturer needs to upgrade this part of it, as I’m not sure how it will cope over time (Particularly if our pesky squirrels keep hanging around it!). The second thing is the colour – White. That might be fine for some installations, but if you are wanting it to blend in a little (particularly in a wood as we did) then an option of a Black one, with a Black solar panel and cable would have been far better.
Overall, I’ve been very impressed with this camera, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it.
This Camera is fantastic. The main reason for getting this was to keep an eye on my new weaned foal. On these dark nights it’s a long time from 6pm until 7am and anything can happen. By day I keep an eye that he’s still in the field and by night I can watch him sleeping and he does love to sleep!! You can record all the time or just look manually. The solar is great to keep topped up at this time of year but does benefit from a good charge now and again. I use a battery pack and USB to charge it to save me taking the camera down and home then back again. It fully charges in about 4 hours and on standby (you manually check now and again) it has lasted me 6 weeks so far and still on 84% thanks to the solar top up. My advice is do it… don’t doubt yourself just do it. It’s fabulous.
I’ve got this on my off-grid, no wifi, boat and it works great.
Comes with a solar panel to keep the internal battery charged, and with a Vodafone SIM card for data. Setting up the SIM card is a bit fiddly as the Vodafone app has changed its name, so it’s a bit daunting trying to get the right app. Then the Vodafone app doesn’t mention the Reolink camera, so it’s a case of setting up a data package. It’d be nice if the Vodafone app also said what the data package package gets you. Anyway, that’s not Reolink’s fault.
Camera is easy to set up once you’ve got the SIM set up. Just be aware that the camera is only recording when something is happening. I had it set to record and was getting nothing as I hadn’t enabled the PIR setting to trigger the recording on movement. Bit confusing to give me the option to record, but it’s not…
Handles night vision well too.
Everything works surprisingly well considering it’s using 4G and not high speed wifi. Even using the PTZ feature.
I looked at the Arlo Go and the reviews were not encouraging. But this camera has been easy to install and the picture is very clear. It remains to see how well the solar panel works, as I have only just installed it. But everything else is encouraging. The one downside – it comes with a V-SIM. The instructions say to download the V app and activate the card. Very straightforward …. There are about 5 Vodafone apps; none of them called by the name in the instruction book. I eventually downloaded the Vodafone Smart App but I still didn’t have any joy. Maybe it was just me…. So I used an EE SIM that I already had and, fingers crossed, it works just fine. Forget the SIM, this camera is good! I’m pleased with it and, based on 24 hours’ use, would recommend. If things change, I will amend the review.
This is brilliant easy to install and works brilliantly can’t fault atm
We bought this back in March 2023. I was not sure if this was the right thing to buy. 2 months on and I am really happy with it.
Solar panel is ok during summer but doesn’t charge enough in winter if the sensor is motioned alo
Decent camera only just set it up so will see how it is in a couple of month but so far very good camera
Camera is excellent, with great definition pics, even over 100 metre distance.
Solar panel charger works really well.
Excellent value for money, looking to buy a few more.
Absolutely fantastic piece of kit. Can’t recommend enough. Wouldn’t be without mine and intend to purchase more.
High build quality.
Solar panel power works well in low light conditions.
Remote Pan and Tilt capabilities are excellent as is their online support.
Chews mobile data (as any such 4G streaming would).
Does the job but the microphone is not clear or loud enough.
Easy to set up.
I have bought this to install on my farm where I do not have electricity or wifi connection.

PIR motion sensor is not that good. Even for moving leaves or shadows, I get alerts
The iOS app is buggy
Trs impressionnant, fonctionne trs bien, aucun dfaut, merci au vendeur.
