Great waterproof barrel bag, kept my things dry on the boat while I was diving.
Really useful waterproof pouch. Can fit a decent size phone, seals well and is properly waterproof. Easy to attach and carry. 5 stars.
The bag offers a good level of waterproof and i have had no problems placing my phone, earbuds or even some papers in it when running. Fits well and can be adjusted. Good product.
This is quite a large tubular bag with clips at either end which you can attach the supplied shoulder strap to. It has one waterproof zip along the entire length.
One thing is for certain, it’s completely waterproof. Done up it’s like a floatation device, you can squeeze it an no air comes out. My wife was rather hoping it could be used to attach to her saddle when riding. The only problem is that the zip is quite hard to move, certainly you need two hands – one to hold the zip, the other at the end of the bag. The last 1cm has a wonderful seal arrangement that is even harder to do up. I feel I’m almost going to break something I have to pull so hard.
If you want a bag that you don’t need to constantly open and close, it’s very waterproof and certainly does its job. For a ‘bum bag’ you may find the zip too hard to constantly open and close, especially the last bit that makes it properly watertight.
This is a type of waist bag like I have never come across before. It is a zipped barrel shaped bag. No pockets or drinks holders just a silicone bag with room for my keys, phone dog treats and bags, ect. It has a long waist strap which can be worn cross body. I like that it holds more than expected and is comfortable to wear which ever way you choose and all my stuff stays dry.
So the description states this is a:-
ROCONTRIP dry bag IPX8 ultra waterproof dry sacks. Fashion lightweight waterproof bag with airtight zipper for kayaking camping boating rafting fishing ~ Blue.
This is alot smaller than I thought, the photos are very misleading.
I was going to say the zip is quite hard to open and close, also that when you think it’s closed, give it a extra yank to make sure because it don’t seam to stop right at the end first go.
But I did read then that the zip is stiff because of them being waterproof.
*** Tip: Since the zipper is waterproof and airtight, it will be harder to zip than a normal zipper
At the time of this review the price is 18.69, which is pretty expensive if you think of it compared to the size of it.
But on the other hand it’s only needed for essentials, which is what we used it for on the weekend, it can save you a lot of money when you have your very expensive phone within the bag.
I had no intention of getting wet, but knowing we were going walking by the canal I thought I would just pop my phone, keys, hand sanitiser and tissues in the new bag, as I could adjust the strap and use it across my body so I wouldn’t have to carry anything.
It is alot smaller than I thought it is, like a large pencil case size.
That’s where the bag did become my saviour, because a dog came running. I moved out the way and my foot slipped and half of me went in the water. Fab
But lucky because my phone was in the bag which it normally would be in my hand. If it was, it would have been broken. But I’m glad to say it is totally fine and it survived, Also to prove the fact the tissues were completely dry too.
So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

Nice waterproof fabric and quite structured, but I think this ROCONTRIP IPX8 Ultra Waterproof Dry Bag is a little overpriced for its small size. At 21.99, it is more expensive than similar waterproof dry bags which are 10 times bigger than this.
Often, especially if you are at the beach as a couple, there are bits that you don’t want to leave on your towel or in your beach bag whilst you go for a dip in the sea.
This waterproof bag will help protect your essential items, such as your phone, wallet, and watch. It is a good idea and light enough to not take much of your hand luggage space or weight.
It arrives with you in a very sturdy cardboard box, the flap is sealed down with double sided sticky tape, making it a little difficult to open. Inside the box you will find both the bag, and a shoulder strap.
The bag is waterproof to IPX8 which is apparently waterproof for 1.5 to 3 metres for a period of 30 minutes. It is a good size bag, but not too big so that you wouldn’t want to carry it. It easily took my phone, wallet and watch with room left for keys etc if you wanted them in there.
You will have to make sure that you pull the zip right up to the end to ensure a perfect seal, this may be a little harder for you if you don’t have a good grip or if you have weak wrists, as it is quite stiff to pull; it needs to be tight for the waterproofing.
I ran it under the tap for five minutes sealed, then submersed it in water, and all the contents were dry. Just make sure that you rinse the bag as soon as you can if it has been in salt water, and dry it off before you reopen it.
I think this is a great little bag for the purpose that it has been designed for, my only quibble would be that at 21.99 it seems pretty overpriced given the cost of other dry bags on Amazon.
This bag was smaller than i first expected it to be but its not an issue. It is still big enough to hold a phone and a wallet and small bits and bobs like that. The zip is tigght and the strap is a great bonus as you can hook it over your shoulder. The bag is well made and a lovely colour. It is perfect for using on the water or just in a bag on a wet day to stop important things getting wet.
Good size bag made from fully waterproof material. Pencil case style, can easily fit in phone, camera and bits. Good strap, well made with a strong seal zip, thankfully there’s a tie to help close the zip and make sure you pull into place. Before I tested it with water I inflated the bag and sealed the zip, absolutely no air escaped. So dunked the bag underwater for 30 minutes as the description says its waterproof for and everything was perfectly dry, no water got into the bag. Great product.
It’s a small waterproof bag.
As my niece observed – like a pencil case.
You could certainly stash valuables, like your phone, wallet/purse, etc in this when in or on the water.
It comes with carry strap, which to be honest is a tad on the larger size relative to the bag, but it makes sense if you were to sling this over your shoulder when in or on the water.
Finally its bright colour is a clear advantage in seeing where this is.
I had my doubts a zip could be air tight but it is, filled with air with the zip closed and even pushing hard the air doesn’t escape. The bag is small with a 14cm opening, it will fit a few personal items, ideal if you don’t have a secure pocket and need to enter the water – such as wanting to go for a swim but not leave personal/expensive items on the beach. This zip is difficult to open and at times you feel the entire zip will rip away but it’s holding up fine and does warn the zip is difficult to ensure it’s waterproof.
This isn’t as useful as I hoped, but only down to its size and the size of the zip opening. The dimensions are given so I have not marked it down.
My first try at using it bubbles came out when I immersed it, but I soon noticed the zip would close another 2mm. After this it was totally waterproof.
The materials are strong
You get strap to make it into a shoulder or waist bag. It can be used to stop the bag being washed overboard.
Its best use is for phones, wallets, small electrical items. You won’t get a change of clothes (well, a t-shirt and a pair of underpants, perhaps).
This is great, lightweight compact and waterproof. Perfect for camping hiking and most outdoor activities where you need a small waterproof bag for your valuables.
This, for me is a quality dry bag.
It will absolutely great for taking with me to the beach.
It will be good for taking phone, wallet, keys etc
It is a reasonable size to, so you don’t feel like you are carting something around.
A neat and very practical waterproof bag.
This mini waterproof bag is just perfect for my needs. I can pop my phone and a few other items in when I’m on my bike and it’ll keep them superbly dry.
This is extremely lightweight. The material feels quite thin, yet seals up on the zip to form a watertight seal. I would happy put my phone in and dangle this in a river to test it. I’m not going to do that though.
I can definitely recommend this. The good thing is that it doesn’t need the be “inflated” to use, so you can put your belongings in and squash it down before dealing the zip.
My wife joked that it looks a bit like a pencil case, but to be fair it doesn’t matter how it looks if it does its job of keeping your belongings dry.
This ‘ROCONTRIP’ branded bag was supplied in a cardboard box that was a little hard to open. It contained the bag and an adjustable two point shoulder strap. The bag is on the small side, at roughly the size of a large pencil case. It could be used for a camera or lens or phones, a wallet, keys or other similarly sized valuables. By my measurements it is roughly 20cm long and 11cm in diameter, which gives a volume of around 1.9l. The bag is well put together and the material is strong. There is however, no padding or impact protection of any kind. The strap was a little fiddly to attach because the clips were stiff and hard to depress. The strap is not overly long but was just about okay for me at its fullest extent. I am not tall but have a long body and so it should be okay for all but the tallest individuals. Again by my measurements it is around 150cm long, including the clips.
This bag is certainly properly waterproof but only with the proviso that the waterproof zip is fully closed and air tight. The zip is on the stiff side and can be difficult to close, especially the crucial last centimetre or so. To help with this a strong pull loop has been added. Nevertheless I found that considerable force is required. One can test for a seal by squeezing the bag and if no air is release then it will be air and therefore water tight. All this is a little bit tedious and I worry that in time the zip pull will break or the seal will degrade and let water in. I cannot help feeling that a small regular dry bag with a fold over top would be an easier option to live with.
So we have a decent bag that certainly can be made waterproof but is not quite perfect. It comes in attractive colours and is big enough for those valuables and daily essentials. It would work well for most water sports or just as insurance against heavy rain or a moist climate. In conditions of very high relative humidity, some additional precautions may be required to avoid ‘sweating’ inside the bag, for example a sachet of desiccating compound. Delicate items would also need their own protective padding but all in all it is a practical and usable bag. Whether it suits you or not will very much depend on your needs and what you intend to put in it. Price wise I think it is on the expensive side or par and certainly their are cheaper alternatives available, including regular dry sacks. Despite all these comments I would still give it a cautious recommendation. It is after all a good quality, well made item that is very much fit for purpose. Just understand and be prepared to live with its minor limitations. Finally, make sure you test that it is properly sealed before you get it wet.
Great waterproof bag.the zip is a little difficult to pull back and forward but it works well and is definitely waterproof in side.
This was smaller than I thought but a perfect size for essentials when you are near any water. Fishing, boating camping, climbing and walking. It will keep valuables dry and safe. The zip is rubbery with a loop to give it that extra pull and fasten it securely closed. The bag is cylinder shaped with loops on the end to fasten the shoulder strap on. The strap clips on to the sides, and won’t become twisted as the clip is made tangle free and swivels round. The strap is fully adjustable and can be worn different ways.
Phones, glasses, paper work, wallets and much more can be stored in this bag. Very strong and seals perfectly. This will be well used.
Delivered in a sealed plastic bag
This drybag is made from a waterproofed material and has a waterproof zip and shoulder strap that is detachable . Perfect for my son to keep his effects inside when he’s out in his SUP
Priced at 21.99 worth it for the peace of mind it will being
This is a stylish waterproof dry bag for A little essentials when we’re out kayaking.
Very happy with the size it takes a couple of phones, wallet and seals It’s airtight ready for action.
However I did find that you have to ensure the zip is completely closed( bag should be like a bubble) As I found that if it’s not hard that little extra click to close it’s not airtight.
So I did find the zip it’s a little bit difficult open and close.
The shoulder strap is a nice lens and I found it very easy to adjust the clips are very easy to attach to the bag and you can wear the bag round the waist or across your shoulder even has a spare loop to clip to the kayak brilliant.
The price point is okay at 22 but it does feel like a quality bag just zip that lets it down a little.
This is a useful small bag to keep essentials dry if you will be in a wet environment such as boating or sailing. It is not enough to put a phone, wallet and a few other bits and pieces. And it does really keep them dry so it’s very useful.
