The case was extremely tight to lock on the mount to begin with. Guess that’s a good thing.
Great product just need the push tab to be bent away from thw phone so when you have your phone in landscape view you dont need two hands to remove it.
I think this is the best style to chose for rokform since this has the locking lever. I’m sure the other mounts work fine but I wasn’t taking any chances, I got soma ram mount adapters and I can swivel my phone in any direction and it stays put.
I have this attached to my ram arm on my motorcycle. It’s a very solid mount.. so solid that it directly translates the vibrations from the motorcycle into the phone. Some people have said this killed their cameras on the phones (mine has surivived over 1500 miles of use… take that as you may).
This specific mount has a thin rubber layer between the base and the top, and it looks like you could add a 1 mm tpu buffer in there, extend the screws, and probably even keep the lock functional and have much better vibration dampening. I like it though. Combined with the universal mount (which would have been better without the magnetic part if I’m being honest) and the magnetic ring lock.. I’m finding this rockform mounting system extremely useful.
I’ve tested this on my 2021 waverunner at 60+ mph without any problems. It hold the phone perfectly no shaking or rates. I use mine with a punk case to make it water proof
It’s similar to quad lock but better quality and in my opinion better service.
I like being able to use one hand. The lock stays locked but allows some movement. Wish held the phone more rigid.
Does a good job with support of my iPhone and motorcycle and bicycle.
I did couple hundred miles with it and so fare seems to hold just fine a bit expensive if you ask me but worth it !

I was down on the rokform system until I saw the cost. Then I stumbled onto this thing. I removed the head from my old ram mount and put this one in its place and was good to go. I’ve not had any issues with my phone after about 3,000 miles of use. Solid buy for the price
*edit* almost exactly a day later after posting this review, my camera’s optical stabilization went out. Switching to the QuadLock with vibration damper, as this is the second camera phone I’ve ruined using a RokForm.
