I ordered the ruko drone not long ago and it arrived on time with complete accessories. I was worried at first because I paid a lot for this and I don’t even know how to use it properly. I am very delighted because ruko drone is not complicated to use. I just followed the manual. Nothing to worry because everything is self explanatory and very straightforward. Anyways, I tried it right away and went to the park. I used it eventhough it’s a bit windy that day. Everything went well and the drone was still stable up in the air. The drone seems durable and strong. The controls are smooth and easy to use. It captured clear videos and photos too. The drone is not heavy as i expected it to be. It has a carry on bag which I can carry anywhere I go. Lastly, the ruko drone has long battery life and excellent charging times. It means, longer usage anytime of the day. Great product!
Absolutely brilliant bit of kit does exactly what it says in the description easy to set up & very easy to fly I especially like the
1 button return, all controls work well & it is very responsive even good in moderate winds. Comes in a very nice carry / case & is well packaged
Very pleased.
Now I have a collection of drones! So I can give you a good idea if its worth it! Right firstly for under 500 it is hard to get a 4K camera with 90adjustable lens! This is the anomoly! This provides a broader vision, enabling you to capture perfect Ultra HD picture and save to your phone whilst in flight!!! One problem with cheaper drones is the flight time.. this has an intelligent flight battery which gives a flight time of 20 minutes and with an extra battery, guess what!! Return and recharge and boom another 20 mins!! Again really impressed as this has alot of features thay a high end drone would have such as auto return home, auto return, signal loss auto return and having GPS positioning means you never loose it again! It also means you can lock it I’m in a GPS position too..
So my verdict.. Worth it!!!

Controling the drone is made super easy with the built in menus in the ruko app and is all explained perfectly.
I’m a novice with flying drones and all in all this drone has been perfect for my limited knowledge and skill set.
Also worth a mention due to never having flown a drone like this I reached out to ruko about various setting the drone had and what would work best for me, as I was quite nervous to fly it, after all its your hard earned money flying away if you can’t get it back, but tbh it has RETURN HOME 🙂 safe as houses and support from ruko was brilliant.
So to sum up, quite simply, if you’re looking for a drone in this price range with great 4k footage easy to handle and robust enough to take a knock due to beginners skill set, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This little cracker.
The images are not supported by stabilizers, making it very poor. The flying distance is very limited.
my husband is happy to play with his new toy, easy to use , but you need a little time to get used to the commands.
Always wanted a drone, and this one fits the bill of ease of flying, and I mean very easy. Build quality is great, you can start off in learner mode, but it’s that easy to control I think most people would be fine going straight in on normal mode. Camera is fantastic, and very easy to move by using the controls on the hand set provided, as is taking a photo of starting a video. This from a guy that thinks there’s too many buttons on a x box controller.
Hi I bought this drone with no experience i was pleasantly surprised it very well built and sturdy when, flying its stable in the air and easy to control, connecting the app was simple I would recommend this item
I ordered this drone for my 15 year old son, after looking exhaustively for weeks. There are many drones on the market, but all of varying quality and price, with hidden gotchas such as battery availability, number of batteries included, and the all-important flying time.
My son previously received a drone from my father in law in Malaysia, which was not too bad, but did suffer from poorly translated documentation. And, being a product from the Far East, spares were hard to come by, which, after Brexit, have resulted in parts taking weeks to arrive, due to uncertainty over border and customs checks.
I had some trepidation regarding purchasing this Ruko drone. However, I am glad to say that my worries were unfounded. This is a great drone to fly. And the copious documentation and quick start guide make trying this out for the first time, a genuine pleasure.
Most importantly, and it’s not altogether clear from the user manual, you can fly this drone without needing a phone. You do lose a lot of features without it, but you can still fly it, which my son prefers. And with 2 batteries, you have flying time of around 50 minutes, which is excellent. The remote also requires no AA batteries, as you can charge it via USB3.
The manuals are very well translated, with only some minor issues. And Ruko’s customer service has been brilliant. My purchased drone has a minor, yet irritating issue with the camera not being able to do the full 0-90 degree movement, only 45 to 90 degrees. But, with frequent and helpful communication with their customer service, they have resolved my issue most satisfactorily.
The carry case is good quality, and the drone build quality is also excellent, there is hardly any calibration required, it hovers practically straight, without veering off to the left or right, like with my son’s previous drone.
I therefore highly recommend this product. Great job Ruko!
This is my first drone and it’s perfect. Transition from box to flight was super quick! Controls easy to use. Fab!! Really good. Recommend to all.
Flew this for the first time on a dull, gusty day. Follow me mode is very easy to use and works well. Controls are straight forward. Return to home feature (when remote battery dies or when pressing the RTH button) brings the drone back to your starting point.
Download the Ruko GPS app, it has a useful video to help you setup for the first time, plus tips on flying.

The Ruko U11 Pro is more skewed towards beginners, it’s more budget-friendly and allows you to get into a higher end drone at a more comfortable price.
The drone itself is fairly small, about the size of a Mavic Air and probably lighter than one. Due to its compact size, you can easily fit it in your pocket or bag, unlike the bulkier more expensive models.
The ‘Quick Start Guide’ is useful to take with you on the field, it’s a little pocket-sized card that contains the highlights of the manual such as calibration, setting it up, auto take-offs, etc.
There’s also an overlay card for the remote control which helps indicate what each control does, particularly helpful to those who haven’t controlled a drone before. The included phone holder works fine and can easily support the weight of my iPhone.
The drone has its own GPS, but it has a “follow” mode which you can use your own phones GPS, and this allows it to follow you with ease. This works well, and I didn’t encounter any issues.
Overall, I’m very happy with this drone. It’s compact, portable, folds up nicely, you can fly it without the controller (so you don’t need to carry it with you), it’s also durable and if the drone is to be involved in a crash, the arms will fold up to protect them. You’ll just need to recalibrate them.
The drone is brilliant for beginners. It arrived well packed and on time with easy to follow instructions. Within a few hours I was able to make my first flight successfully. I’m still receiving updates and information from the seller which is really helpful.
I found that it’s easy to use. I’ve still not explored all the different modes but I’m really enjoying flying it.
I had one little issue with the phone holder and customer service was excellent and prompt with sorting it out. You get a good 15-20 mins flying time per battery. And with having 2 makes it even better.

I purchased this drone a week ago and it arrived with a complete set/accessory. I used right away to check if it’s working well.
I downloaded the app through my phone and I followed the instructions. It’s basically very easy to understand and follow.
I’m a beginner and I was guided well on how to set it up. As you can see on the photos and video uploaded, the drone flew so smoothly and the joysticks are easy to use for navigation. It captures the wide space of the area.
Although the camera quality is not that of high quality buy I think overall, I’m happy with its performance. I have no complaints aside from that.
The battery life is longer than I expected and comes with one extra so you have longer time to enjoy the view. Therefore, no more problems for the battery running low.
The drone is light and has a good quality. It also comes with a storage bag which is nice and easy to carry around.
I’m so glad I’ve purchased. I’m looking forward to learn more on flying the drone and soon I can be an expert.

This drone is great for bigginner , i just bought it for my son and he loves it , it has many features including return home and gps witch made it really easy to fly it around and have great pictures.
I love the fact it comes with a portable carry case and a couple of batteries. The drone is simple to fly and if you sync up the smart phone app you can view a live feed from the drones camera, this obviously helps with videography allowing you to better hone your flying and get more accurate and clearer images.
The drone has good quality GPS, it will Auto Return if it loses signal and it has brushless motors for extra reliability. The 50 minute flight time uses both batteries and it’s more than enough to get all the shots you need. Range is decent, video quality is excellent and value for money is really good. A great first drone to get a feel for the hobby before splashing out serious cash in the future.
I must have spent a lot of money over the years on fairly basic drones around the 50 mark. They were okay but they never flew for long enough (before needing battery recharge) for it to be fun and I found that they quickly became difficult to control. I finally decided to get a more expensive one but still affordable. I asked for this as an early Christmas present from the wife and children. I have only quickly tested it on a couple of flights before packaging it back up for Christmas Day. Testing was essential to avoid a disappointed adult child on Christmas Day!
This drone is so better than what I have been used to previously. The first thing I noticed was just how easy it was to fly. It was so much more responsive and controllable. The flight time is amazing and with a spare battery, you can get close to an hour of flying! The presentation of the drone is very professional with it’s own carry and protection case. I reluctantly had to put it away and get it wrapped up and put under the tree. Can’t wait to play with it om days off work.
This model takes a bit of getting used to, specifically the initial pre flight checks, it took me a good 3 or 4 goes to get it tied down to memory on how to make sure i had everything synced ready to go and connected to my phone. However, once done it really does feel like a top end drone, it’s hard to explain how or why, but the responsiveness of it added on to the continual video stream and the power to fly in low amounts of wind too just seem to add up and show you you are getting what you paid for.
The controller is not the usual rigid squared off type, more of a bubble and wrap around your palm type with a weighty feel that counteracts the weight of the phone once clipped in above it.
It also comes with 2 separate batteries to allow you to do longer flights but also try out the tricks it has up it’s sleeve.
Overall, i would say it’s a great drone, not for a beginner, but if you are willing to take the time to learn and be a little bit patient it’s definitely worthwhile

The drone has a great controller that allows you to attach your phone so when you connect your phone to the drone you can see the footage from the drones excellent 4K camera.
Connecting to your phone is very simple once you download the app and follow the instructions you will be connected in no time.
I’m not the best at flying drones but this little beauty is very simple and only took me a few minutes to get the hang of it. It’s very smooth in flight and the controls are very accurate.
Overall I am delighted with this drone and for the following reasons I am going to give it 5 stars:
