Played with 106 tiles (numbered 1 to 13 in 4 different colours), the object of the game is to be the first player to clear your rack of all tiles and shout “Rummikub”.
Lay down sets of “groups” (three or four tiles of the same number but different colour) or “runs” (three or more consecutive numbers of the same colour).
Manipulate tiles already on the table to your advantage! Rearrange or add to existing sets, to use your tiles.

Number RunsIn Rummikub you lay down number ‘runs’ from your rack or add to existing sets of numbers on the table. Initially seems a bit complex but you get the hang of it really quickly. Played multiple times over christmas and it was loved by everyone from my 6 year old nephew to my 87 year old aunt!
From the first time a year ago that we played Rummikub and buying it the next day we have played the game so much and there’s so much to it. We love it.
I have both sets, ie for 4 and 6 players. The four player game is much quicker than the 6 player. In fact on a couple of games for 6 players one player hasn’t laid a tile when another is out! Great fun though we love both sets. Sometimes when in a certain light the orange and red colours can be confused. Reasonably priced and good quality.
Love this game… was sure it was in the loft but no…must have given to charity shop years ago.
Rebought at a very good price….has provided hours of fun.
Could do with a bag for the tiles but overall brilliant.
A friend of mine taught me to play Rummikub so I wanted my own set. This set is good quality and was delivered quickly.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Rummikub, it’s a bit like Scrabble but played with numbers rather than letters. You have to put the numbers down in groups of the same number but different colours or in continuous sequences of the same colour. The big difference between Scrabble and Rummikub is that the latter allows you to rearrange the numbers on the table as much as you want provided at the end of your move every group of tiles is a valid combination.
Scrabble usually has a cloth bag to draw letters from but Rummikub usually has the tiles placed face down on the table so you can’t see which tiles you’re selecting. I prefer a bag so a found one which originally contained a pair of headphones.
This is a very good game for up to four players with relatively simple rules but it gives your brain cells a workout.
One of the categories for star ratings is for travelling. I gave it one star there as this is not really designed for use on the move. There are travel versions of Rummikub available if that”s what you need.
I bought this after playing at a friends. Since then I have played with others who have gone on to buy it- it’s addictive! Only slight disappointment is that my game didn’t come with a bag to put the counters which is an essential component. I had to source one myself
A sort of Rummy with tiles instead of cards, this tests your observance skills, your arithmetic and if you plan a fairly complex move – your memory for what you are going to do. A nicely made enjoyable game and one the family took to straight away.
But for most people it’s a really fun game, and we always enjoy it as a family.
Have played Rummikub for many years. It’s an easy to learn game but can become tactical once you know the basics. I purchased this set on offer to use in the lounge of our retirement complex. The boards are quite sturdy and the tiles are clear with distinct colours. Pity it doesn’t come with a small bag for the tiles but a plastic bag works just as well.
What a game, makes you competitive and a desire to outsmart others
We love a games night in our house. This game is a huge hit for us both & for our 6 year old.

Brilliant game.Don’t think I’ve ever played a game that is so addictive,and I’m 78.Was introduced to Rummikub by my eldest daughter,her two kids are so good at it they are 10 and 13 .It really does keep your brain active makes you think ,and that’s what we ALL need.
If you like Rummicub anyway, this is just perfect for travelling, tiles are a perfect size.
Very entertaining, great for adults and children. Bought it to replace a Rummikub that we had had, and played with, for years. Some of the spots had worn off my original game, as it had been played with a lot. Highly recommend.

We bought this on recommendation from friends . It’s brilliant and really gets you thinking . What I like is that you can get better and better at it with practice.
After a couple of games it looks as though it will be a good addition to our board games.

It should come with a bag big enough to mix the tiles and draw from.
This would make the tedious practice of turning the tiles face down on the playing surface redundant and the game faster and more fun.
Great game. Easy to learn. A popular game in my family and extended family. My friends are hooked also. We don’t score – one who lays all their tiles first, wins.

Update : finally got around to playing this game and upon opening it all the red tiles are blank! Past the 30 day refund date and no way to contact the seller . Ordered another one today hoping red tiles are in it . Still can’t contact seller on new purchase . Check all the tiles as soon as your game arrives !!!

Great game but box is big to travel with however, you can also buy this as a travel size game too
God what a game ….. if you play sevens with a pack of cards then this it that game on steroids…. can be fast at times to keep up or watch whats going on . the kids are so fast when they take their turn and so many moves the game can turn on its head when its their turn ………. defo a fun game and very addictive …..and fustrating at times ….. worth the money …
I bought it as a Christmas gift, but was disappointed that the instructions said to lay tiles face down instead of putting them in the usual cloth bag to hand around. I managed to find a suitable cloth bag. Disappointed for price paid – a simple cloth bag is not an expensive item and it is much easier to play that way. The recipient agreed with me and we used a plastic bag until I got her a suitable one next time I visited. She loves the game though and has been playing it with everyone!
Have played this with friends & family for years. Gets the mind going
Had the old one from about 30 years ago, had a few numbers missing so ordered this one. It came the next day, exactly the same as the original, just more colourful. Cannot fault product and service.
I wouldn’t say it’s that easy to travel with as it’s quite a big box. Depends how you’re travelling. If it’s in a car then it’s fine to travel with. For me, personally, it’s for at home use so I don’t require it to be travel friendly anyway.

I have the full sized version but actually this, for me, is a much better size both for home and taking on holiday.
Absolutely fabulous game. Tactical uses so many skills. It does take a little bit to work out how to play it but well worth learning.
Good family game.
This is a very large box and the game is quite expensive for what it is. We use a bag like you would for scrabble as it’s not really feasible other wise. As for the game we’ve enjoyed it so far but I think it will take a while to become competent in it and play strategically as a family.
I only recently knew of this game by playing it in a group. Quite addictive, so bought it myself and play one-to-one now too. Either way, it’s great fun and the more you play the more you realise it can be as much of a challenge as you want it to become.
Good fun for two to four players. Simple to set up and learn the rules but play can be challenging. Quickly becomes addictive!!
Very good game best played with 3 or 4 players rather then 2. You don’t need to understand how to play rummy to get this but it may help a little. Very absorbing and fun and keeps the mind thinking at every new tile that’s laid down.
Arrived on time and in good condition. Save me looking around the shops for it. We play this game a lot. Very enjoyable. But. Get yourself a cloth bag for selecting the tiles, as turning them face down is a pain. Enjoy.

I got this for my sister and the children. We loved it and played it all over Christmas. It’s so good for children and the family too. It so addictive cause you just want to keep playing once you get the hang of it.
Love this game. This particular game (by Ideal) is well packaged and presented; the plastic number blocks and number holders are robust. Rules aren’t particularly difficult but like any game, they need to be read carefully. Good fun to play.

This is easy to learn and quick to play. It is similar the the card game Rummy but a different take on it. Highly recommended.

I bought this for me & my partner to play over xmas. We struggle to find fun 2 player games so I was interested to try this one out. WELL we have certainly tried it out – we have played it none stop over the xmas holidays and love i!. Dont be put off by the instructions which seem long and complicated just read them briefly and then get started – it is really much simpler than it sounds and you just need to throw yourself into it. Super fun for 2 players and I am looking forward to trying it with more people in the future.
I bought Rummikub for my husband’s Christmas and we are hooked- so much so that friends and family are now buying theirs having enjoyed playing the game with us!
Great game I bought to play with my daughter and Grandaughter aged 9 years.
We also have a group that play regularly at our u3a all 65+ and I was taught to play the game by a group of stroke patients whilst volunteering.
Bought this as a game from my childhood, and was not disappointed! Great game – but I just wish the tiles and tile-holders were plastic-free.
We have had this game for twelve months and have just bought another for our granddaughters aged 8 and 10. Several of our friends have the game so we play together regularly. Buy it you won’t regret it!
Great game. Only problem that the instructions were in German so not been able to play it.
Unfortunately it was a gift for Xmas so too late to return as bough in sept.
I liked the simple rules of the game which still generate a different, absorbing game each time. The playchips are attractive to look at, durable, and the Travel Rummycub conveniently small. The little pegs you need to support the ‘walls are a bit hard to attach, but doable with perseverence. Everyone I’ve initiated into the game has enjoyed it and wants to play again.

Nice and compact, this is a great travel version of one of our favourite family games. Tiles are nice and clear and a good size. Setting up the racks was a bit fiddly, but that’s a one-off process.
We prefer it to full size. Easier to manage. Better racks. Great game that will travel with us everywhere.
Great set! Tiles feel nice to hold, stands feel sturdy enough (not expecting anything amazing lol but they definitely suffice), and generally happy with this product.
Two things though: it doesn’t come with a proper bag. That would be nice; instead, I had to order a separate bag for the tiles. The plastic bag they come in isn’t that great because it’s see-through. I know you’re meant to stack them, but I like picking them from a bag.
Another thing: the instructions came in Spanish. That’s not such a big deal to me, because I know how to play and English instructions are easily accessible online, but it would’ve been nice to own a physical English manual.
In conclusion, I’m glad I finally own a Rummikub set! This is my favourite board game of all time, and I really recommend it to just about anyone. I didn’t give this 5 stars because of the two reasons above, but that’s not to say this isn’t a great deal for 20.

I ordered this as my grandsons love it. They have the full size game and this travel version which I thought would be great to have at our house. We also take it away with us in our caravan. Love the game but always get beaten by my quick thinking boys
We play Rummikub every night. We play five rounds. After we have played 10 five round championships we play the ultimate championship which is ten rounds. No doubt about it, the best two player game ever.
Love love love this game. I already had this and bought this one as a gift. Such a good game and suitable for all ages. My nieces have been playing since they were 4/5 maybe a bit younger than that.
