Replaced my old iron with the newer version very pleased
The iron is easy to carrying, the plug fits into the iron, in all very good.
I went for one of the cheapest of the separated tank type steam irons.
It works fine. Definite speed up of workflow. Makes a boring job shorter.

Good family steam iron excellent quality machine I would recommend it to friends or family
Been wanting a steam iron for ages … so fed up with having to refill the water in my conventional steam iron. Plunged for this … not the cheapest, but by far not the most expensive either. Its fantastic! so easy to use and irons the driest of linen shirts with just one pass. did a couple of hours ironing and only got half way down the water chamber. Only downside I would say is that it did turn off (in idle mode) reasonably quickly. If I emptied the dryer and folded it went into idle mode. Only took about 30 seconds to come back up to steam mode though. no water droplets on the clothing either.
Packs away nicely. Plug cable goes around the unit and the iron/water cable hooks into a holder.
The iron/water cable does get quite warm.
Used this at least 2-3 times weekly for family’s clothes, was easy to use, good amount of steam, but unfortunately exploded on me this evening after less than 2years use. After contacting Russell hobbs, they are sending a replacement as still in warranty, great customer service from them
Absolutely brilliant iron, easy to fill with water and easy to use. I don’t think there is anything I dislike and would definitely recommend
I just love this iron! It’s lightweight, heats up in seconds and does what it says. One wee gripe is the cord isn’t long enough and I’ve to use extension, but it’s really no hassle. I’m so glad I bought this model, it’s brilliant!!
I have just thrown away my expensive Polti Iron. This is the third one I have had the first had an intermittent fault so it was replaced, the second just stopped and was also replaced this one just stopped but was just out of warranty so it went to the recycling centre. I decided to buy a cheaper option then if it packs up I won’t be too disappointed. So far this has been brilliant, warms up super quick, slices through the bedding with a good shot of steam and extremely light to use. The only thing I would change is you cant secure it to the base. If it could be secured it would be safer to leave on the ironing board and when moving it. All in all a lovely purchase.
We have more than one iron station, this one stands out because you carb remove the water holder to fill instead of bringing jugs of water too the machine, this also allows you to clean the container much more readily. All round great iron does what you would expect.

Was abit sceptical as tried a few different irons, my hubby has been in forces so I have to iron creases into his shirts and trousers! Wow this iron is brilliant, gets through ironing like knife through butter.

I was pleasantly surprised with this iron. I ordered it after reading the reviews and was really pleased that it actually was lightweight compared to my last iron. It cuts the ironing time in half and it’s an added bonus having the cables tidy when not in use.
So so happy with this iron. The steam it release’s is incredible. Irons the clothes with ease. It’s also super light. I love how the compartment for the water is easy to remove and refit. So worth the money.
Easy to use. Plenty of steam. Cuts through creases easily. Light and mobile. Best I have used. Clothes look much better than before without the hard woirk.

I have had Russell Hobbs steam generator irons for many years and find them to be the best brand. Bought this model because other one broke. This was cheaper than my last model and coming up to Christmas finances were short. It irons nice but I agree with other review that steam takes much longer to come through. Like I say it does iron nice though and gets all creases out but just takes a little longer.

Does what it says on the box. Heavy to move and takes up a lot of space. I have only kept this out of necessity
Only had this around a month or so. It is fabulous and I can’t fault it. Happy to recommend it to those in the market for a steam iron that does exactly what it should do.
Definitely more steam than my previous brand. I haven’t experienced much calcium build up as of yet.

Absolutely love this iron/steam generator. I needed to replace my existing steam generator iron, oh my I did not expect it to be such a minefield trying to choose, some are so expensive I wasn’t prepared to pay the price, but this little one popped up & thought let me order & give it a try & if no good I’ll return it.
It’s a keeper, it’s great, the only little niggle I have is the actual iron isn’t very sturdy when you stand it upright if you put it down on the ironing board while you move a garment round, the rubber that guards the cord going into it is quite bulky, I just have to get used to putting it on the base while I move garments round
