The Russell Hobbs 3 in 1 air conditioner is the perfect practical appliance for climate control in your home or office. With three effective functions – as an air conditioner, dehumidifier and an air cooler; this product gives you full control over the climate of any room up to 14m².
When used as an air conditioner, this unit will keep you cool and comfortable. With a choice of 2 speed settings and an added oscillating fan function, you can control the speed and direction of air flow. On its cooler setting, the unit uses surrounding hot air alongside its 0.3L water tank to cool your room effectively. The dehumidifier function allows you to control humidity levels in your surroundings – ideal to help dry washing, eliminate musty odours, or prevent the spread of damp and mould.

Easy to use. Great price. Will only do one room.
Cools down the room well, but it’s placed in a small room to regulate temperature for my hamster in the summer. It can cool the room down to 22C when it’s 30C outside. Thermostat function is good. I have been using it to dehumidifier the house in the winter and it is really very efficient at that. The only downside is it is quite loud when it is running. I don’t use it in the bedroom but I think the noise would be acceptable as loud white noise once you get used to it.
Only used a handful of times so far but Works well, easy to set up, turned on and within one hour room temperature went from 23.5 to 19.5, highly recommend

Keeps nice and cold.
Noisy – would say like sound of tumble dryer or gas boiler. We put ours on prior to bed, then switch off so not too late.

You pay for what you get ! Don’t expect a Bentley with a budget price !
An amazing bit of kit, I can’t fault the aircon. let down by poor communication by seller. The tracking didn’t appear until two hours before delivery. Just got a text message stating delivery not what was being delivered.
Nice solid build and seems reliable. The only issue we have is we purchased it to cool a 20m2 room but it struggles a bit… Yes it cools it but if you set it to a nice 18c (lowest it will go) it never gets there and just runs all day. I think of you have a room over 15m2 I would go for a slightly more powerful one. It does work though and we are glad we purchased it but the room size is slightly over enthusiastic.
I decided to bite the bullet and get a portable air-con unit to help control the somtimes 30c temperatures it would reach in the living room and bedroom. As an overall pacakage, I don’t think you could get any better than this little unit. It is a great size to be able to fit in a closet during the winter, but can chill a room down really quickly once on.
Now, if your goal is for a room to be chilled quietly, none of these portable units are going to be for you. Having the whole unit inside, which half of it usually sits outside the home, makes it quite loud under operation. But if the option was to have this little machine loud or to sit in 30c with a fan blowing around that hot air, I would take this every day of the week.
I am also basing this review on the air-con portion only, as I don’t use it as a dehumidifier. If you use it in that mode, you will need to instal rubber tubing that will pipe out the water from the unit, but using it for only air-con that isn’t needed. I think it stores the small amount of water it creates in a tank that you will empty at the end of the season.
I honeslty can’t say enough for this device. Most of the negative reviews on here I am not sure if they have read through the manual or are not using it properly, but if you do your research and understand what you are buying this is a great product for the price.
TLDR – Great air-con for the size and price. It can be a bit loud while chilling, but the cool air is worth it.
Very good product. Great for space, as it is not so big – the 5L water tank lasts a long time (at least overnight at the minimum).
It also comes with 4 ice packs which is helpful and handy for continuous replacement. Overall if you are looking for cool, refreshing breeze then this is your product. It won’t keep your room cool like air-conditioning but it certainly gives you pleasant and very cool breeze. It’s a nice to have product.
Really impressed with this item. Looks good compared to other models, nice slim size, and does the job. It’s cools quickly and perfect for most medium sized rooms. The noise is a little loud when used to full capacity but like the instructions say you don’t need to have it set on 18 which costs more to run and in my opinion pointless. As a result I have mine on 22-24 and it’s not to loud, you can sleep with it on. The remote control and sleep mode work well. The only problem I had was fitting the exhaust tube through my window, as my window is not a slider. After investing a further 15 on a window fitting kit I now have the perfect air conditioner and at a decent price on Amazo
Isn’t the best but its excellent value for money. We purchased this as a second one so our main one isn’t over working all the time. This one doesn’t swing, it only goes down to 18 degrees (our other goes down to 16). But it is amazing for the price. Very happy with it and I like that it comes with a remote control.
The bad, delivery by DPD was hell, first day they claimed nobody was on property(photo evidence shows they where half mile from my place) second day the DPD employee came dragging the box and kicking the hell out of it(he was not using a well trolley or similar as per instruction on the box (see photo) The device was well packed, no damage, but I am sure they flat the box due to marks of drag on the side of the box (again instructions on the box)
Well made though and I’m confident it will do the job. It’s a bit loud but I think all portable ones are as everything is in one unit rather than the bulk of the machinery outside.
It’s very very heavy too but it has casters.
Only gripe is that it says it has a swing function on the controls but clearly doesnt have this feature when I examined the vents.
