How to use your EASi MicrowaveTo microwave, simply press the Microwave button until your required time is reached; the time increases by 30 seconds until 5 minutes and it then increases by 1 minute until 60 minutes. Press the start button and microwave will then start to cook at the full power. To defrost simply press the Defrost button until your required time is reached; the time increases by 30 seconds until 5 minutes and it then increases by 1 minute until 60 minutes. Press the start button and the microwave will then start to defrost. To pause the cooking cycle simply press the Stop button, to cancel, press the Stop button for a second time. | How Microwaves WorkMicrowave ovens do not generate any heat themselves but instead emit waves of microwave energy which cause the water molecules in food to vibrate. This vibration produces heat which in turn cooks the food. This is why your food will come out of the microwave piping hot, when your utensils inside the microwave stay much cooler. Microwave energy cannot penetrate metal, so the inside of the appliance is lined with metal. Wanted a flatbed microwave for a while. Did my research as I didn’t want anything too complex. I love this its ideal.
Very happy with the microwave , I bought in January 2020 , impressed enough to buy one for my daughter in April 2020.
However the internal bulb flashes every time I open the door. I am unable to deal with this and can not find how to get the help

This microwave is perfect. Simple functions, lovely reflective aesthetics. Perfect. Easy to clean as there isn’t an annoying glass plate and 23l is lovely and big for all shaped plates.
Received exactly what we were expecting a simple to use efficient microwave.
Only negative, but not the end of the world, was expecting a digital clock on the control panel.

Love this microwave. Was originally put off with the basic controls so looked for something else….then I realised I don’t need all the other options I never used with my old microwave. It’s simple to use, heats the food well, can fit bigger cooking pots inside and it’s easy to clean and keep clean. Would never go back to a turntable microwave after having a flatbed.

This isnt completely flat as it has a kind of seal around the bed. Its still much easier to clean than a carousel type tho. Lots of room inside and very easy to use. It doesnt have a clock tho. Shame as it means i have to switch it off at the mains or see 0:00 most of the time. If I need to buy a cheap microwave in the future then this will be a major contender. it would be hard to find anything better for under 100

This microwave is great if you are looking for a simple and easy to use appliance, being a flatbed you can get a large variety of size dishes in, large and spacious inside , and a dream to clean, well worth the money.
This is so simple to use just four yes ‘ FOUR ‘ functions. No more wondering have I got it right, no turntable so no wondering will the pot handle hit the side. It’s magic. I ordered mine about 1430hrs. on Monday and had it in the kitchen just before 1500hrs.Wednesday.
Good looking and because its flat (doesnt rotate) means you can put larger things in. Very slight criticism is that the quick use function isnt just one button, you have to press two buttons.
When we sold our house the buyers asked for the microwave. It was perfect for us, so at our new home we bought another exactly the same. It’s capacious, easy to clean and simple to use. The inside light started to flicker after 11 months and Russell Hobbs replaced it with a new one. This did require a couple of emails but Russell Hobbs rightly arranged collection and delivery at their expense. Excellent product and service. Thank you.

Very easy to clean and it is nice not having the rotating glass in the middle, as I always used to knock this off.
I have knocked a star off, as a couple of months ago it’s developed a fault that parts of the lights stay on constantly

Good product very easy to use. Looks great. If there was anything it’s that you cannot vary the power level, it’s only 800 watts of defrost.

My previous microwaves all wore off at the turntable, the coating just peeled off, but this has no turntable so should last a lot longer.
Nice and easy to use microwave, no need to set up. The flatbed is easy to clean since there are no rotary parts that must be removed and washed separately, just wipe with cloth or paper towel.
I give it 4 stars only because there is no built in clock and you can’t change the power level when heating. Other than that it is excellent value for a flatbed under 150.
If all you use a microwave for is to defrost and microwave, this is great, easy to clean and no complicated instructions. Good value for money.

I love this microwave. I needed a new one, my last one having expired and I had never even heard of a flatbed microwave. After a little research on the very useful amazon reviews I decided that this was clearly the future.
It is so beautifully simple that anyone can use it. No more messing about trying to find that power level and all the superfluous nonsense that any sensible person hasn’t got time for. I love the fact that you can put a large rectangular dish in there or microwave more than one dish at a time! Can’t imagine why this hasn’t been done much sooner in the commercial market. You barely need to read the instructions, just press and go. Mint.
The flatbed microwave is the best one we have ever had in 40 years..in fact since they first hit the shelves in ‘Bejams’.
It’s a good size for starters.
Secondly it’s incredibly easy to clean.
Thirdly even us oldies can operate it without feeling we need a degree in technology. Easy peasy.

Very pleased with this microwave. Only a few buttons, a good grip handle to open door. Love the flatbed feature, so easy to clean, can see into oven clearer than last micro. Cooks as well as my last 800w, find no difference being 700w.

Well I was not expecting much because of the price but I wanted a smaller microwave than the norm and no turntable. This was the only one I could find that was smaller than some. Wow it’s great if you want a no fuss microwave with no cook this cook that which I never ever used this is amazing press how many minutes off it goes no awful turntable it’s bliss very happy.

At last, a simple microwave! It heats and defrosts perfectly. It has only 4 buttons. No fancy technology which you will never use. And best of all no balancing on a revolving turntable. It works perfectly.

Well done Russell Hobbs for daring to go back in time when microwave ovens were simple, but bring the machine up-to-date with the latest ‘Flatbed’ technology. Flatbed microwaves have been about for many years in professional kitchens, but cost over 2000 a slice. At last we see this technology filtering down into the domestic kitchen. If you are looking for a new microwave oven and you open the door and see a turntable, close the door again and walk on by. This flatbed oven punches well above its 700Watts and is as good as a 1000Watt oven with a turntable. So easy to use, with just two modes Cook and Defrost, who needs anything else? Those over-complicated units capable of doing fancy things that most people never use, when all you really need is to press a button and cook. Remember though, like any other microwave, the more you put in it the longer the cooking time will be. You can get more in this oven because without a turntable you an put multiple items in side by side and it still cooks all over without going round and round. Well done Russell Hobbs and a well deserved 5 Stars from me.

Easy to use, great quality and simple, just what we wanted.
I live in Denmark and there we have another kind of power plug/wall outlet. But I wanted this microwave so I’ve changed the power plug to a EU plug and it works perfect. Buy it!

Large. Can take large dishes/containers. Does not always cook evenly, particularly for items placed away from the centre of the cooker, although this can be solved by moving everything around halfway through the cooking process. Generally pleased.
After several months use, I would say that all the above still holds true but experience of using other microwaves has accentuated the drawbacks of this one. Although it is large, it is comparatively underpowered for its size – so you can put a lot in it, but the more you put in the longer it takes to cook (which defeats the object of it a bit). Also, the more you put in the more uneven the cooking seems to be, compared to similarly sized ovens with a turntable, so we tend to put less in (which means we would have been just as well off with a smaller and cheaper turntable one).
Good size for a family of 4 without taking up too much counter space. Lack of a spinning plate is a real boon! You can use square plates, bigger dishes etc. Also means you’re not having to continually re-seat the plate onto its runner. Should be much easier to clean too.

Very good. Love the lack of a spinning platter. However, the interior light on mine is so dim that it is useless. You cannot see inside at all. Is it just mine or is it designed like that?

Very please with this microwave it is solid and good looking the simple controls are all that is needed. The flat bed means I can put oblong dishes and large plates in it. The appliance stays put when opening the door not like some I have had that tend to move. I have no complaints whatsoever with this microwave and would recommend to anyone.

I LOVE the simplicity of using this microwave & the bonus of not having a turntable. That in itself is worth the extra. It’s not as spacious as I thought it would be inside & I find it quite noisy. But love it otherwise!

Looks good, sooo easy to set and the flat bed gives me such a lot space to fit several items in at one time.
First impressions are great. It’s sleek and elegant, and if all you want is a simple microwave to quickly reheat food with minimal fuss then this is the one. If you have never had reason to change the power setting of your microwave nor used any of the functions on your old microwave besides hitting time/start/stop, then this unit is targeted precisely at you. By giving up features you don’t use, you will get a nice easy-clean flatbed unit with no moving parts at a very reasonable price point. For a 800W unit it’s certainly heating faster than I would expect too. Smaller plates of food are often piping hot within just one minute. I will say that I have gotten better results for bowls of soup with the old turntable microwave but I would tend to prefer the stove top for liquids anyway. I will call out that one area in which it does not perform quite so well but for regular plates of of food, I have had very good results so far. On the whole, a great buy.

I do like this product. It is all it sets out to be – it has four straightforward programmes and does exactly what you wanted. However the simplicity doesn’t limit its use in the kitchen. I have had microwaves which many functions but found that I simply didn’t use them.
