This was really easy to assemble. The chair is comfy and easy to adjust. It’s used for shorter periods approx 2 hours so can’t comment on full time use

Like: nice, comfy, easy to assemble.
Dislike: it could be more soft. I had to buy extra cover (30) to be more soft.

    Good for it's price

I love it. It’s perfect. Just look at it.
Was a bit hard to screw on handles to the seat, you might need some help from someone to hold parts together while you’re screwing them together. Apart from that it was easy, mostly just connect parts and click together.
The only downside is that my sister occupied it and uses it now, not me :(((
Looks like she’s quite comfortable in it.

Given the price point of the item I was pleasantly surprised to find it so sturdy and solid. The frames were heavy and stable so it feels grounded. Definitely does not feel cheap at all, chair was very easy to assemble and came with assembly tools so you don’t need a screwdriver. As a girl i could assemble it in less than 40mins and didn’t require any help whatsoever. I did it half drunk @ 1am so it probably could have taken less time. Height is adjustable and slots right under a standard IKEA table. I’m 164cm and its just the right height me.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was able to assembly this chair by myself under 30 minutes. Very comfortable. I work from home and so far the best chair I had

The chair arrived rather quick and was really well packaged, all the parts fit nicely in the box and none of the pieces were damaged, the instructions were really easy to understand and the chair took about 40 minutes to asemble.
The chair is actually very comfy and after a week of using it is the best chair i have purchased. The arm rests are adjustable and so is the head rest depending how tall you are, the back rest is nicely curved to give a straight posture.
In all honesty I dont see any flaws with this chair so far and i really enjoy using it!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe chair came in a single flat-pack box. The single layer of tape on the bottom of the box had split, but the contents of the box was sufficiently secure that no parts were lost on its way to my house.

    Material:

Most of the hard parts are made from a molded plastic / nylon, including the armrests. An exception is the base plate that mounts the seat to the gas lift and contains the tilting mechanism.

The casters have a PU rubber around the wheels, like what you would find on inline skates. It is sturdy yet soft, so it does not ‘scrape’ and scratch across my hardwood floors. I have not tested this on carpet.

The backrest has a mesh material that, though plasticy, appears to be well made and thoroughly attached to the outer frame. It definitely lets air through, as I had a fan behind the chair and could feel the breeze penetrate.

The seat has a deep cushion covered with a material similar to the backrest mesh. The cushion is contoured to have a downward slope at the end (knee side).

    Assembly:

Assembly was straight forward and took roughly 30 minutes, including stopping for some pictures for this review.

All the nuts, bolts and washers are in a blister pack, each marked with a letter that corresponds to the instructions. There are also a few spare parts in the pack, though I did not need to use these. The pack also included an allen / hex key that fits all of the bolts, and there’s no need for additional tools.

    Assembly tips:

To make it easier to insert all the bolts and for final adjustments, do not tighten all the bolts until they are all in place.

There is a cover for the bolts connecting the headrest, which will be very difficult to remove without damaging it unless you have the right tools; so be sure to tighten those bolts before putting the cover in place.

Also note that the tilting mechanism has a petroleum jelly-like substance on a few parts, which can get onto your hands and in turn on the chair. Keep a wipe nearby.

    Use:

For reference, I use the chair in my home office for work (long hours in IT), and have had the chair for about 2 weeks before writing this review. I’m a little under 6ft and roughly 15 stone.

The chair itself is quite comfortable overall, though not without its flaws and possibly not geared toward the taller users.

    Positives:

The mesh backrest is comfortable, and lets plenty of air through to avoid ‘sticking to the chair’. When I had a fan behind me, I could feel the air on my back.

Having chronic back issues, it is important for me to have good lumbar support. This chairs’ adjustable lumbar support does not disappoint in that regard. I can easily set it to the correct height, and it is neither too hard nor too soft.

The tilt mechanism works well, and the amount of pressure needed can be adjusted with a knob on the underside of the chair. It is initially quite stiff, probably to stop that feeling of ‘falling backwards’ when first using it.

As I have hardwood floors, the PU wheels are very welcome. The previous chair had all plastic wheels, which simply scraped along the floor – and protective cover – whereas this nicely glides.

    Negatives:

The armrests had to be in the 2nd highest position before they relieved the strain on my shoulders and arms. The armrests also have sharp remnants on its sides from the injection moulding process, which can be uncomfortable when you brush against it.

When the chair is in the upright position, the headrest will only reach the upper part of my shoulders / lower part of my neck when at its highest position. Though, when fully tilted backwards, the headrest is in the correct position.

The seat cushion appears quite beefy, though a person my weight will sink into it considerably. This to the point that I can feel a hard ridge running down the middle of the seat, from the front to about 2/3rds of the back of the seat. While this does encourage me not to slouch, I cannot consider that a feature.

While the backrest adjustment is generally hidden from view, I did notice some chipped paint and rust on the screws holding it in place.

    Conclusion:

So far, I am very pleased with the chair. I was in need of a chair that did not cost half my salary, but would still give me proper back support and relieve strain on my shoulders and arms. Despite the few issues, the chair delivered on that.

Not perfect, but delivers on its promise.

This is a very comfortable chair that was easy enough to put together. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I really like the support felt by this office chair and it makes long days that bit better. The chair also looks great, simple and stylish.

    Would recommend!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis chair arrived flatpacked and took about 20 minutes to build. Three bolts for each arm, three bolts to attach the back to the base and two bolts for the headrest. The allen key needed was supplied, as were some spare bolts, which though not needed was a thoughtful addition.

I’m 6ft tall and I am more than happy with the size of the chair. It’s supportive, very comfortable to sit in and is easy to adjust.

You can change the height of each arm rest at the touch of a button. There are 10 different heights to choose from.

The headrest is also adjustable in height and angle. Simply grab it and move it to where you want it to be. The height adjustment clicks into place, the angle adjustment is slightly stiff to move, its meant to be, as it wouldn’t be as supportive otherwise.

The height is adjusted with a gas lift. Lift a handle under the right of the seat and it moves up if you take the weight off it, and down if you are sitting on it.

If you pull the same out, to the right, the chair becomes a rocking chair. You can adjust the pressure needed to rock it by rotating the large knob dial under the front of the seat. Left to lighten. I set mine to a medium pressure as I find it still works well as a supportive seat for my back, yet I can still push back if I fancy a stretch. To lock it back into place, simply push the handle under the right of the seat back towards the middle of the seat. With it pushed in the seat can rock about 2 inches, out it rocks about a foot, which is plenty for a stretch.

The chair is of course a swivel chair. Its silent, it does not squeak. There are 5 double castor wheels on the base which make it sturdy, yet simple to move.

The material is a foam seat cushion covered in a breathable nylon fabric, and a no foam backrest and headrest that is incredibly supportive. It surprised me just how strong the back material feels. Being no foam, it allows your skin to breathe, which helps my clothes not to get sweaty, even on a hot day.

I’m extremely pleased with the office chair.

    Comfortable, supportive, breatheable office chair.

This has fulfilled our hopes. It was easy to assemble and is a strong, attractive, sturdy and well-made office chair. It’s being used by our “gaming” nephew, James, who says it is ideal for his high energy gaming sessions! The price, especially with the discount, seems very fair for such a strongly made chair.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSince assembling this chair, I have barely left it!

This is a very comfortable and supportive, clearly ergonomically-designed chair with a modern design twist so it stands apart, both visually and in comfort, from more traditional office chairs.

Assembly took me 15 minutes and it was so intuitive I didn’t need to follow the clearly printed, easy to follow instructions. An allen key is provided and it was pleasing to see also that spare screws of each size are included plus a spare washer – which is thoughtful.

The parts are very well-engineered and fitted together perfectly, with small guide lugs on the arms and then a plastic cover to hide the fittings. The seat at 47cm x 45cm wide is generous and it is thickly padded so feels luxuriously comfortable and spacious to sit on. The back cover is lightweight mesh which gives good lower back support and in the current hot weather, I have felt the benefits of good air flow.

Unusually, the armrests secure the vented mesh back in place which means the chair cannot be used without the arm rests. Initially when I realised this I was concerned because, although I like office chairs to have arm rests, they usually get in the way, preventing the chair being pushed fully towards the desk so the user is then forced into adopting a hunched-over posture because the chair is too far away. However, on this very well designed chair, the arm rests are positioned low, at a much lower level than any other armed office chair I’ve used, and this ensures they will fit beneath a typical desk so the user can sit and adopt a straight-backed posture. It is also very much more relaxing to have the arm rests positioned low because it allows the shoulders to drop and a more relaxed posture be adopted hence the chair design scores an easy 5-stars.

Everything else about this chair is equally outstanding: the effective gas lift for adjusting the height, its adjustable tilt (perfect for leaning back for a good stretch) and its smooth-running castors which run equally smoothly on carpets, tiles, lino or laminate.

There is absolutely nothing about this chairs which disappoints and I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a super-comfy office chair.

(For info, my white IKEA desk height is 77.5cm to the underside and the armrests have 8.5cm clearance.)

Outstanding design for ergonomic comfort, with low arm-rests for use at a desk
