I asked for one of these as a birthday present. I already own a corded grinder but for the odd quick job, having to get and run out an extension lead is a nuisance and sometimes, you just don’t have access to mains power. I’ve done a few small jobs and the Ryobi excelled, cutting through 2cm steel bars easily. I’m not sure why a chief Marine Engineer couldn’t work out how to unscrew the handle and take it off, but sometimes having it on is useful. I would like a locking switch, but for those small jobs I can cope without it. Overall it’s a very useful addition to the toolkit at a reasonable price.

Machine good.Running time only 20min charging far to long 1hr 20min.

Cracking little grinder, easy to use, done a number of small cutting and grinding tasks with it already, got the power I need and cos it’s part of the One Plus system batteries interchangeable, bought the sanding and wire brush attachments for it separately, easy to interchange disks etc. Love it, a cracking tool

Yet to be dissatisfied with one of this brands products. My go to battery powered tools.
A very useful tool, as much power as a corded equivalent, iv had the tool a little while now and I have to say its not let me down once, unlike the wife who is a constant thorn in my side who drains me everyday.

Many good features, powerful and able to do the job
This is the second Ryobi +one angle grinder as I find my family keep borrowing one of them
It’s a great grinder and super fast to cut metal, a well made item, but they said buy one and we’ll give you one from our list for free but when you apply for the free item it’s declined as your Irish, yeah that’s why because they can get away with been racist towards Irish people
Great product . Batteries are Interchangeable so can be used on other Ryobi products.
I have a heavy duty grinder for the bigger jobs corded, but this Ryobi cordless is a great all rounder good size not over heavy runs well on a 2ah battery, but now use a compatible 5ah battery for a fraction of the ryobi range, works great take anywhere.
Bought this so we could cut some roof tiles. Works really well and having a cordless tool stops having mains wire trailing when working on a scaffold. We already have a number of ryobi one tools, some of which are 14 years old, so we have full confidence in the brand.
Can recommend this tool.

Well made and easy to use. Advantage of battery and no cable is of great help for easy use. Slightly more expensive than other makes but quality is worth the price.

Keeps going even when you put weigh on just like the cable grinde
So this my second one if these. I had it for predominantly cutting tiles (ceramic and porcelain) and it lasted about 18 mths which i think isn’t bad. That being said i didn’t look after it and that why it broke. I have since learned a few things and now i can safely say that I have two great working grinders and im still happy. I think this worth a buy. (Remember to clean them if you do dusty work)
Love this grinder it is so light and easy to use. It is also very sturdy and does the job perfectly.

I have other Ryobi products which I am very pleased with but this angle grinder not so.
I have not had the chance to use it much yet but it seems very sturdy and should be OK for anything I want. Note the spindle thread is M14 which is different from my previous one. It doesn’t matter to me but could be important depending on what you want to mount on it. Worth checking.

Easy to use particularly up a ladder.
Reasonable life with 5ahr battery.
Absolutely love this! I use it as a mini chainsaw, grinder, buffer and polisher. Couldn’t ask for a better product.
Only used twice up to now , don’t know how I managed before , easy to use and set up , tried a few different make of discs they all seem to work well .
Feels good in hand…balanced …have hardly used it so don’t know how quickly it drains the battery but the few minutes I have it was good
Another great product from Ryobi to add to my Ryobi tool collection, only problem it does not indicate the right way round to fit discs, the supplied disc should be marked as should other discs, other than that, a great produc
A good little battery grinder with pretty good power for the price, however it is not that easy to use due to two separate triggers you have to press also the disc spins in the wrong direction compared to every other grinder I have ever used which if you are right handed makes it hard to follow the line you are cutting or grinding as the whole body is in the way rather than with other grinders where you can see the disc easily

Easy to use, very much like the corded version but no trailing cables, battery also fits other Ryobi tools I have so has been a great additio

One thing I would say is that due to the power needed for the tool, it is worth noting that it runs the battery down quicker than the others we have so I would recommend using it with the 5ah battery if possible.
