The Ryobi R18CS-0 cordless Circular Saw is ideal for making long straight cuts in timber and plastic. It’s great for trimming timber sheets, kitchen worktops, doors and windowsills. Its impressive cut capacities of 52mm at 90° and 36mm at 45° allow you to easily complete applications usually reserved for corded tools.
This R18CS-0 is sold as a ‘bare’ tool (without a battery or charger) but is compatible with all batteries and chargers across the 18V ONE+ system.

Love Ryobi One+ tools and was keen when fitting our new kitchen to try out something that could help do the job. I really like the design and ease of use. Accuracy was very good. Not a big fan of the small guide that comes with it (bit too flimsy & short to really help). I found that cutting with a 2 AH Battery it would stall on the 40mm worktop, which was subsequently resolved by switching to the 5 AH.
I have about 20 Ryobi
Base units and 6 batteries means I’m only charging 6 batteries and not a whole host for each individual device. And they are quite solid. Though not really on a professional level (my drill ended up losing its centre), but then it’s not a professional price. I do however use them quite roughly, and they take it.
Made the switch from a mains powered saw with a bit of trepidation

Superb saw. Light and easy to use. The built in movable guide edge make long straight cuts easy. Only used it on soft wood so far.
Bought as a replacement for a Lidl Parkside that gave up the ghost (lucky, just inside 3 year warranty). Had a battery already so thought I’d give this a go. Better size with larger disk and more power. Cuts straight and fairly easily with smaller items. Been using to cut recycled ‘plastic wood’ and this is more of a challenge, especially on long deep cuts. Found it easier to cut multiple times going a bit deeper on each pass – otherwise it jams and cuts out (as well as going off line). Still much easier/quicker than hand saw and safer/less worry than having a cable. All other jobs are mainly cross/angled cuts in wood and it handles these with ease although will get a better blade once this one wears out.
Easy to use and adjust. Not short of power. Been a good saw.
Used this for trimming doors and making some stretcher poles out of decking wood. Doubtless my old woodwork teacher would have frowned upon my technique, but it worked for me.
Really lightweight, simple to use once you get used to the sliding safety cover, easy guide rail, and no cables to worry about stretching or cutting through. A great addition to my ryobi one+ set.
Once you have the battery it is good value. My initial problem was the saw blade was on the left and I am right handed

The only downside is the standard batteries are always being put on charge.
I tried this with a non-OEM 4AH battery, once the blade is fully into 18mm ply, MDF or pine is just binds and won’t go any further even if you wax the blade. I bought a 5AH genuine Ryobi battery from a well known car parts and bicycle shop as it was the same price as Amazon and I needed it same day. It ripped through the sides of a door like the proverbial hot knife through butter. So if you’re not prepared to spend the money (75) on the battery as well don’t bother.

Initially purchased a year ago and found that it wouldn’t accurately cut at 90.
Nearly a year later i got fed up with putting up with it and called amazon customer services. They were quite good and exchanged it for a new one.
Its still not perfect but allot better than the old one. Definitely good enough for a hobbyist. I build a whole shed with it and its still going strong.
amazing, I wanted a second Ryobi product after the drill starter set with two 1.5 ah batteries to help me build my lockdown 8×8 potting shed! I wasn’t sure i’d use this, but wow I am now!
Cuts wood like a hot butter knife, mostly cladding and CLS from b&q, easy to swap batteries, no cables! I even cut CLS into two the long way as it’s cheaper then! I have even used it daily to chop old furniture, logs to feed my log burner, take in car to chop pallets at work! 1.5 ah batteries are fine, just keep charging them! Lost the holding screw on guide, not good as no idea where to buy an new one from

Bought this for work on my allotment, I’m impressed, no I love it. Did everything I asked without stalling using a 2.5ah battery. If you wanted to use it all day you would need a much larger ah battery.

Used a few times now to cut wood and also Perspex sheets with ease. Battery charge lasts ages
Already have a Ryobi jigsaw and batteries (important) but was starting a new project that needed long straight cuts. Very impressed going to everything from 4’x2′ timber to 9mm ply neatly and consistently. Do recommend a good workbench to work from.
Great little saw which works well and is so much easier than a wired saw.
Has all the features you’d expect from a circular saw and is supplied with a good quality blade. Kick back is minimal, far less than from my mains saw. Doesn’t have laser alignment but I don’t find that an issue.
I use with a 5amp battery which provides more than enough runtime for any DIY job I care to tackle.

Why, as a left hander, have so much trouble using this type of equipment?
Ryobi bargain again. Cut straight when I used it and the guideline was stop on straight. It jammed a couple of time but I found out that was the blade guard. You do need a hoover pipe on the end as you get covered when cutting. That all I didn’t like about it.
Lovely piece of kit. Arrived just now, and once the blade was installed I tested it on a piece of 5×2 I had lying around – went through it like a hot knife through butter..
Cant wait to get stuck in with it on my main build project next week.
This makes use of the One+ battery system, and I’m very pleased with it.
It is easy to use, and more than powerful enough for my DIY projects.

Fr den Preis unschlagbar. Man sollte allerdings einen der greren Akkupacks nehmen da die kleinen recht schnell schlapp machen. Mein 2 A Akku ist zwar perfekt fr den Akkubohrschrauber aber die Sge zieht halt schon ein wenig mehr Saft. Kommt problemlos durch eine Arbeitsplatte mit 3.5 cm Strke.
Es gibt sicherlich hochwertigere Produkte, die dann auch doppelt so viel kosten aber fr den Heimwerker vollkommen ausreichend.
Versand obwohl irgendwo aus Spanien war sehr schnell. 3 Tage wenn ich nicht recht erinnere.
Fazit: Ein gutes Produkt zu einem guten Preis. Hat bis jetzt alles problemlos erledigt was ich ihr vorgesetzt habe.

Muy contento con esta herramienta, la usamos muchsimo, va fina, es ergonmica, cmoda, precisa, robusta y ligera.
Easy to get started out of the box, fits with the batteries I already had, and has a few nice features.
I was a little sceptical about the design of the blade guard but it works just fine, no exposed spinning teeth unless you are particularly daft or really trying to hurt yourself.
Useful features:
* Adjustable cut depth from 0-52mm. A little deeper would have been nice, but easy to adjust down when needed.
* Attachment for a vacuum cleaner hose to collect sawdust is great.
* Standard double trigger safety function prevents accidental activation.
Could be better:
*Adjustable edge guide is a little finicky and not quite sturdy enough if you’re working the saw hard, but fine for lightweight cutting
* Not quite powerful enough when working with large pieces as the blade has a tendency to stick a bit if you’re even slightly off-line or the timber flexes/moves as you cut.
Not used yet:
* Cut angle adjustment – sounds nice but not sure whether most users will actually need this.
Overall very happy with it so far and would recommend for the casual user.

Je l’ai achete pour retailler des planches de rives la mesure. Bien que cette machine soit sans fil, elle tourne vite et est trs efficace…Il faut au moins une batterie de 05 AH, l c’est le top…..Trs satisfait de mon achat, je recommande…

great cordless saw. i read reviews this saw jams and cuts out. well mine doesnt. now i didnt use it very long time. but i cut a few 100×75 mm timbers with it from both sides obviously without any problem. it sliced them like knife through butter. i would recommend to buy with it 40 tooth blade for easy cutting. and when you are cutting with it you really have to hold it firm and straight and off you go.i never used professional tools so cant compare to them, but im really happy with it. ps: im using 4 or 5ah battery with it and it works well with i

Par contre l’emballage inclus seulement un disque, la batterie et le chargeur ne sont pas vendu avec. Personnellement j’ai une visseuse de la marque dont les batterie se correspondent.
Bref super pratique et gain de temps norme.

One of the best battery saw I have had and with the 5.0ah battery gives you more life and I can do more jobs and I bought the drill aswell which is just as good thanks and you just need one battery for both

I’m a novice DIY’er but found this tool really easy to use.
Great edition to the ONE+ eco system. I got plenty of charge out of it to complete my custom made built in desk. The vacuum extension helps to direct the wood dust if you don’t have a vacuum to attach to it keeping the majority of the mess in one place.
The blade was easy to attach and cut through the wood with ease.
With the adjustable base plate I was cutting angles in no time and with complete confidence.
Obviously being part of the ONE+ eco system you don’t have to worry about cables.
Will be definitely be keeping with Ryobi and their ONE+ system as this now goes with my drill
