I have ordered this product from Amazon UK. The delivery pack was received in time. However – when I opened the package, there was the case empty only. I immediately get in touch with the support team via email. They, contacted me to know what was the issue and after just 3 working days I have received a new package containing the missing pen.
This was a gift for my wife who is been using it for one month now. She’s very happy with her new pen as previously she had to manually take notes. Now she can catalogue an archive all her notes from all the books they need to study.

I have orded two and not got a complete one yet one was for Christmas off my daughter emagin the disappointment opening your parcels and all you get is an empty box
Mostly accurate, great for students
The instruction booklet is very clear and makes it very easy to set up. It’s mostly accurate but there are occasional spelling issues, so you need to read over it to check for any mistakes. But overall its a big time-saver especially with researching for coursework
Perfect tool for capturing quotes ! This pen scanner is so effective, its always attached to my laptop. It saves so much time. Once in hand, its lifts the words from the page to my screen.
Does take a bit of getting use to, but like a learning to ride a bicycle, once you get the hang of it…you just go.
OH and after sales service… AWESOME. I purchased this pen in 2016 (yep it’s still going) and the dangle broke.. dunno how BUT
I messaged Scanmaker thru Amazon
asking about purchasing a replacement and they offered to send the replacement FREEE OF COST. You read right. FREE OF COST. Now that’s the definition of after sales support/service.
If you write alot and often have to transcribe passages or paragraphs its really worth it.

En thorie c’est le un super bon lecteur. Il souligne super bien, se connecte facilement et peut presque tout lire.
En pratique… je l’ai utiliser 2 fois, le lecteur me disais de ralentir ou de garder ma ligne droite. J’ai perdu patience et j’ai pris surligneur orange la place

I have been using this for a couple of days now and after comparing quite a few of the scanners I’m so glad I purchased this one.
Now after a couple of days use and getting to grips with it it’s been a huge time saver and all round 5 star produc
I bought this item as I am a college student that has some writing challenges due to having Asperger’s so most of my handwriting is illegible so I rely on typing my notes. While it’s great to type, there are times when I need to study where typing wears out my fingers and it takes a lot of time to decipher and type what I need.
When I bought the product there were some issues with scanning too fast, curve/wrapping texts (which is mostly my fault as I have unstable hands in general) and sometimes a word or two is missed. Although it’s not a huge drawback to me, to some it may cause some issues if you rely on accurate readings for a project or other forms of data. It is a learning curve in general like most devices.
I recommend it to those who have some challenges with typing or writing in general and want something that can scan to a word processing program that doesn’t mind some minor scanning mishaps from time to time.
Works perfectly provided you use a computer, the iOS app is far to limited and makes it cumbersome, but if you use it paired with a computer it works like magic

Briiliant back up tool
I bought mine a few years back, I think when it first became available, and I’ve used it regularly ever since. Takes about 10 minutes to get used to the speed of scanning needed to get a good copy, but once mastered and the scan copied into the document then only minor amendments are needed to get rid of typos usually caused by a slight rucking in the paper on the page being scanned from. It’s all VERY minor stuff that’s overcome with continued use.
Its use for me was copying text from documents whilst in council meetings, especially when a document is being passed around the table – where I’d once have just made a note of what caught my interest, this scanner gives me an exact copy of a paragraph in seconds.
And it’s ready for use wherever you are. I often read through stuff in the first few minutes I’m in bed, this tool means no more “stuff” scattered around, no more copying text long-hand onto the ‘Acedad’ for transferring into the WP the following morning – IF that gets done when it’s just easier to leave it in long-hand note form, except of course that you’ve still got the quivalent of a sheet of A4! Transferring off the Scanmarker takes, what? a minute of two?
Just buy it, you honestly won’t regret it.
The pen is a little finicky it regards to getting a completed scan. Mostly ending towards the spine of the book, where the pages have a curve. It does work though and I’m glad I got it. It would also be better if the software had a better ‘read aloud’ program.

Molto meglio delle aspettative
Pensavo che non funzionasse per alla fine sapendo che avrei potuto ridarlo indietro l ho ordinato. Prescrive su foglio excel in un attimo ed molto pi veloce di quel che mi aspettavo potrebbe anche tradurre all istante in base al lavoro che si fa e una persona che non scrive velocemente al pc pu essere un alternativa. Lo consiglio
