Um Platz zu sparen, digitalisiere ich meterweise Unterlagen. Das Gert arbeitet sehr schnell und sehr zuverlssig. Bei der Erfassung gibt es aber noch einen Fehler: wenn man den vorgeschlagenen Titel durch einen anderen ersetzen will, akzeptiert er diesen oft nicht, so dass man ihn mehrmals eingeben muss. Er behauptet auch oft, der Titel sei zu lang, auch wenn das gar nicht stimmt.
Ich hab mich doch fr fnf Sterne entschieden. Fnf minus wre angemessener.
Ein stabiles Produkt. Hat bislang die ganze Arbeit sehr gut erledigt. Schnell, sicher.
Irgendwie habe ich ein bisschen noch was an der Software auszusetzen. Ich verstehe nicht, warum ich bei der Cloud unflexibel bin, bei anderen Ablagearten schon. Auerdem bin ich der Meinung, es soll mglich sein nicht nur am Gert selbst den Scanvorgang zu starten, sondern auch am PC selbst. Wre echt praktisch.

Der Scanner wird in Kombination mit DEVONthink Pro genutzt. Mit Hilfe einiger intelligenter Regel luft die Erfassung von Autor, Titel und Erstellungsdatum der meisten Dokument zu 90% automatisch. Die Software des Scanner sendet die Dokumente an DT PRO. Dokumente werden nur auf den Scanner gelegt und abgeschickt. Das Tempo und die Przision des Scanner sind beeindruckend.
So ist das papierlose Bro mhelos. Ich wollte es glaube vorher nicht glauben und htte auf eine Reihe von Empfehlungen schon vor Jahren hren soll. Das htte jede Menge Zeit gespart.
Etwas teuer, aber dafr super Qualitt. Benutze in tglich im Bro. kein Papierstau, ordntliche Bildqualitt. Fr den Profieinsatz super geeignet.

Installation des Scanners als Netzwerk-Gert in Windeseile ohne Probleme bewltigt.
Installation der Software ohne Probleme geschehen.
Nutzung der Software komfortabel und selbsterklrend.
Touchscreen des Scanners gut zu bedienen.
Scanner erkennt ziemlich zuverlssig Vorder- und Rckseiten (manchmal wird eine Leerseite mitgescannt, kann man aber nach flotter Durchsicht des Dokuments mit einem Klick lschen, kommt aber selten vor)
Scanner fasst ca. 50 A4 Seiten und scannt Vor- und Rckseite in ein PDF in ca. 2 Minuten.
Der Aufsatz fr Rechnungen und kleinere Belege ist extrem hilfreich und schnell und problemlos angebracht.
Fazit: tolles Gert, extrem flott, flsterleise, zuverlssig und komfortabel.
Ist zwar nicht gnstig, aber bei dem gebotenen Komfort und Tempo vergisst man den Preis recht schnell.
Absolute Empfehlung.
Habe mir das Gert fr mein privates Bro erstanden und bin absolut zufrieden. Das Gert ist schnell, przise, intuitiv und gut verarbeitet. Der Preis ist sehr hoch angesetzt, da es sich aber um ein Profigert handelt und nicht fr den Heimgebrauch gedacht ist auch nachvollziehbar.
We purchased this scanner for a client with a specific scanning project in mind, and coupled it with third-party software to best manage the project. The scanner has worked tirelessly and without issue since.
A big chunk of time is wasted to digitize receipts so the adjuster works magic on top of scanning directly, without computer attached, to GDrive, Dropbosxor MS OneDrive.

I haven’t had this very long, but so far it’s great and does everything I am asking of it. The help system is sometimes hard to follow, but with a bit of patience you can find what you need. I’m decluttering before moving house, and this is really helping to get rid of paper based “stuff” without losing the memories. I’ve done a few snaps (as opposed to valued photos) and it’s fine. Not a fully fledged photo scanner as such, but it really depends on what you want. It’s certainly quick (even when you select top quality for snaps), and the main work is getting batches ready and naming & storing the scan files on disk. Wi-if connection to my Mac was a dream. Would recommend!

Nachdem ich nun vier Scanner verschiedener Hersteller gekauft und wieder zurckgeschickt habe, bin ich jetzt zufrieden.
Der ScanSnap iX ist unter den von mir ausprobierten der einzige Scanner, der genau tut, was ich brauche. Die Software harmoniert mit dem Scanner und die Verteilung der Scanns in die Zielordner ist Klasse. Die Geschwindigkeit ist okay, auch beim Duplexscannen.
Was mir nicht so gefllt ist, dass man die einzelnen Profile (Zielordner) zum Anklicken in einem Fensterchen hin- und herscrollen muss und dass man diese Ansicht auch nicht ndern kann. Da wre mir lieber, ich htte alle Profil Buttons gleichzeitig auf dem Monitor. Aber das ist nur Klagen ohne wirklich zu leiden.
Blasted through years of documents and old photos. Love that it can connect to Dropbox too. The only thing it (or I) seem to struggle with is books if you want to feed it through so don’t chuck away your flat bed scanner yet. Paper needs to be very mangled before you have problems with the feeder, even when it does it’s an easy fix.
Lovely little scanner with a small footprint, better than I expected works seamlessly with my Apple Mac.
Der Scanner wurde mir empfohlen und ich kann die ebenso weitergeben. Die Handhabung ist einfach. Er wird bei mir im Bro tagtglich eingesetzt. Wichtig ist, dass er die eingescannten Unterlagen auf den PC des Sachbearbeiters direkt senden kann. Es drfen nur keine Heftklammern dabei sein. Bei auf einem Papier aufgeklebte Kleinbelege mit einem Klebestreifen gibt es keine Probleme beim Einzug. Duplex ist super. Insgesamt ist es eine groe Zeitersparnis.
This is a good scanner.Only problem is you have to use outlook express if you want to scan straight to email.
But that is a minor consideration.Its fast and double sided.

Used to scan documents. Does five sheets in a mater of seconds. Fairly easy to set up.

Bei der Installation hat das Firmware-Update erst im zweiten Durchgang funktioniert.
One useful lesson was to switch off the OCR if you don’t need it. I was finding the software was crashing when scanning tabular data, because it is too complicated for the OCR to keep up with the scanning speed. I didn’t need it OCR’d and now the scans run through like a dream.
At first, I was aghast at the scan quality, but things improved when I changed the setting to make all scans color and done at the “Best” quality (300 dpi). The pages zip through very quickly and I love that it scans two sides at once. It’s just a dream for converting all my mail and receipts and whatnot into pdf files — it is so much faster than using the scanner on a multifunction printer. It’s expensive, but if it keeps working for at least 3 years, it’ll be well worth it as far as I’m concerned. Oh… another irksome thing: Straight out of the box, I’m getting a consistent message that the lenses are dirty. I wiped them as instructed and the “dirt” message showed less dirt on the lenses but I couldn’t get the message to go away. I see no issues with the qualities of the scans, though, so I’m ignoring the messages. But it’s a little annoying to have that issue with the machine when you take it straight out of the box. (Are you listening, Fujitsu Quality Control?) Still, like I said, all the important stuff is working smoothly and so far I am excited to scan all the papers quickly on my desk and then shred the darn things!

Excellent scanner. I was worried it would all be very technical to set up but it was a beeeze. Plug in, enter home internet password and it then links up with your PC and takes you through a questions section on the pc as it loads and then I was good to go! You can scan straight to your chosen folder on your pc. I did not set up for it to scan to an email address or phone but I guess you can do this. There were little or hardly any instructions and most of the booklet was in a different language but even for me being a woman and not technical, I found it very easy.
Would recommend this product and great quick deliver. Worth every penny to scan documents quickly. I would say this is better for home use or small office.

This machine in my view is 5 stars if compared to the competition. Design wise I would prefer the previous model, not so easy to setup for novice users. Other from that, it does everything perfect in Pro level. Fast, reliable, high quality, silent, relatively compact, huge list of functionalities, so many different options for connectivity. Amazing OCR capabilities for text search within scanned documents supporting a big set of languages Greek included.
Replaced our very old Fujiscan 1500 model (needed for Windows 10) Old unit still working perfectly on Win 7 and have every confidence in the new model

I decided to buy the ScanSnap on the strength of reviews, and was not disappointed. It is great!
It was easy to install on Mac OS and iPad iOS, and it is easy to use with the ScanSnap Home software. I have not yet tried ScanSnap Manager because I have been able to do everything I need with Home.
I have cleared three shelves of A4 ring binders very quickly and saved all the content as searchable pdf files. The scanner is extremely fast and scans both sides simultaneously. I have been putting around 40 A4 sheets in the feeder for each scan. The files I am scanning are old and dusty. ScanSnap gives a warning when the scanning windows need cleaning. The scan quality is excellent and the pdfs are truly searchable. I can quickly find obscure documents using utilities such as Alfred to search for text inside the document.
Although the ScanSnap can scan A3 sheets, they need to be folded in half, so I have continued using my A3 printer for those. As ScanSnap is exclusively a document feeder, there is a risk of badly damaged paper sheets getting jammed, so I also continue to scan those on the printer’s flatbed. The ScanSnap has a removable feeder for business cards and crumpled receipts and both work really well. Business cards are scanned on both sides and can be saved as vcf files to add to Contacts or Daylite.
This is a really worthwhile purchase if you have a lot of A4 papers to scan, or a lot of business cards to enter to a database. I am really pleased to have one in my office and can finally go paperless in an acceptable time.
Update:
After several months of heavy use, my ScanSnap continues to produce good results. Automatic OCR to produce searchable text has been extremely useful. My only complaint, and the reason for removing one star from my rating, is that occasionally I get a red exclamation mark on the ScanSnap screen saying it cannot connect. This usually happens when I need it most urgently. Fujitsu’s help system is Byzantine to navigate and unhelpful. Fortunately, the ScanSnap eventually reconnects by itself but I have no idea why it disconnects at all.

Der Fijutsu ScanSnap iX1500 Scanner ist auch schnell eingeschaltet, wenn man den Deckel ffnet.
Auch Visitenkarten lieen sich ganz gut damit scannen – allerdings nicht zu viele auf einmal – man muss immer wieder “nachfttern”; dann kann man die Visitenkarten-Adressdaten mittels OCR passabel in Excel einlesen. Erfordert noch Nacharbeit; ist aber schon ganz brauchbar und spart Abtippzeit.
Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits, wenn man nicht einen Flachbettscanner bentigt, um beispielsweise Bcher einzuscannen.
Sehr einfache Bedienung
Leider KEINE TWAIN SCHNITTSTELLE. Das Bedeutet man kann mit keinem Archivierungsprogramm oder Datenverarbeitungsprogramm den Scanner direkt ansteuern.
