So far I have all the tomato seeds and cucumbers growing. Almost all seeds germinated out of the 60 or so sown. No fruits yet as plants are still small so no comment on the quality.
And as we were daft enough to lose the labels when reporting from the initial seed trays, it’s going to be quite exciting seeing what we eventually get!
I’d definitely recommend this based solely on the tomato and cucumber seeds.

Seed packets had varied amounts of seeds in each. Some loads. Some very little.

The little sack is really cute, and contains an amazing variety of different seeds. Other reviews have mentioned that there are only a few seeds in each packet, but I think that makes this an ideal intro/starter collection. Very excited to get planting! I also really like the simplicity of the little instruction book.

This product was much smaller than I thought it would be. I should’ve checked the sizing.
Everything arrived packaged nicely. From the seeds I have sown already, the packages contain about 25-40 seeds each and they all have germinated and grown very quickly. Some of the vegetables are a different variety to that specified online, but that is only a small issue as the type of vegetable is still the same. The instructions are basic but sufficient, though you will need to google what type of equipment you need to sow the seeds eg type of compost and containers.
At first I was disappointed by the size of the sack compared to the picture I’d seen online, it seemed as though it was going to be double the size it actually was when it arrived…however! The recipient (purchased as a birthday gift) unwrapped it today and he was thrilled by the amount of packs of seeds that were in the bag, so I’ve updated my review accordingly, and even though the item will arrive possibly smaller than pictured, it is definitely worth the 12.99 spent as you do get a lot for your money once you’ve opened the sack
I am so chuffed with this bag of seeds. There is a brilliant selection of seeds in the bag, all packaged and labelled separately. The list provided is subject to change and a couple of the packs I received were slightly different to what was in the booklet but they are very similar so it makes little difference. The booklet provided is very useful and gives all the necessary information, though I decided to get a little more planting and harvesting timings online too as I am not a particularly experienced gardener. I have planted some of the seeds out with my little boy and they have been successful in sprouting so I am optomisitic about the others that I am yet to use. Fantastic value for money and super selection. Be aware that if you want a lot of something, this pack only gives a few seeds of each fruit/vegetable – e.g. I received 11 beetroot seeds and about the same basil (though I didn’t count them).
Mum is thrilled! She is amazed at the quantity of seeds inside and really enjoying having something to plant EVERY month!

This bag of seeds is fantastic. Looks good and has a small plasticised booklet with all the info you need about how, when and where to plant the seeds.
The seeds are in plain little seed packets with just the name of the plant stamped on it. You get so many different seeds… Herbs, 3 types of tomato, carrots, cabbage, lettuce etc everything you’d need for a good all year round crop.
The only thing I would say is that you don’t get many seeds in each packet. Enough for a one off crop but not loads left over. I myself think this is a good thing because you only get what you need.
I would recommend this seed bag to anyone, I’m really chuffed with it and I’ve been telling my friends about it.

Was a lot smaller than expected. On the picture it looks like a very big bag but the reality is its about the size of your hand. But it still has all the great seeds in it, with a handy guide so can’t fault it!

Got this as a gift. The sack was smaller than I expected but I probably didn’t read the dimensions correctly. Nice little package though, have to wait and see how it grows.
I order this set of seeds for emergency, they arrived on time the next day. The seeds are in a small canvas bag, the 30pkts were inside, and the book stating what to do with seeds in a vague way. I don’t think its bad value, but you only get a few seeds in the foil like packets. It is enough just to try but there is no dates when they were produced or use by date which is unusual. I’m just trying to have a few vegetable seeds in as due to Covid-19, the order I placed with a very well known Company let me down badly and I waited nearly 14 weeks for them to arrive and I got the last packet last week!!!
The book is about 4inches x 4 inches telling you what the various are and basic planting instructions. It will keep me busy, so I’m happy. Ideal if you just want to give it a go doing your own patch of vegetables and herbs. I recommend them.
love this kit after buying about 5 months ago i planted most seeds in the kit and everything grew and I would highly recommend
Really lovely, varied selection of seeds. Only issue we have with this was that we had tonnes of tomato varieties but only one packet of carrots and you only get 10x of each seed in each packet. Obviously one seed for a tomato plant produces lots of tomatoes but one seed for a carrot plant results in one carrot! So out of 10x carrot seeds 2x have survived so only 2x carrots for us this year but LOTS of tomatoes!

I bought this as a fathers day present – it was smaller that I expected so think it was a bit much. But it is still a lovely and novel gift.

Planted lots now but plenty left for later.
All seeds which I planted grown. Some of them died due to bad London weather and environment, but I had them all in pot and I actually plant them earlier than I should. Most of them survived and now giving me their fruits 🙂
I bought this for personal use. Very pleased with the wide variety of seeds and also that there were not masses of seeds in each pack. Traditional seed packs have far too many seeds for my needs.

We are first-timers when it comes to planting seeds. It’s an activity to do with my four year old. The sack comes with instructions and lots of different types of seeds. We had to google for more detailed instructions, but I think that is because we are beginners. Overall, very happy with the product. I was just surprised at how small the sack was. Again, that could just be because we are not used to buying seeds.

Nice little bag, not a lot of seeds per packet, but it does come with some heirloom tomatoes which I’m hoping will germinate, there is a good variety of seeds, some herbs, chilli and some veg, will probably update this once they are sown and growing

I ordered this for a colleague as a gift, she is a keen gardenener and she did really love it, which was good, however it is smaller than you think and the box feels very light weight so I did have to buy something extra to go with it as I felt it didnt look a lot, however she did say she loved it.
Bought as a present and she was made up with it she also said even if the packets had few seeds in if it had too many in you wouldn’t ever get round to planting them all she was extremely happy with this product and I give it top Mark’s recommended.
eally good value alot of seed for your money, says for beginners but you will need a propagator or a home made one as i did following advice from a local member of our horticultural society so as a beginner i did not expect this.

There are not too many seeds in each packet, but if I can get them to grow that will be enough for my small back garden. It is a nice selection of unusual varieties! Here’s hoping that they sprout and grow well!

I’m not a gardener myself however I would imagine by the nature of the product you could buy the seeds individually for a cheaper price from other sellers.
However as a gift the packaging is really nice, the seeds are packed in silver packets clearly labelled; I would recommend this as a gift.
Good selection of seeds but reason for 4 stars is product was advertised as having 30 packs of seeds but actually had 29 in the box. Overall good value for money.
