Very high read speed.
Write speed is unfortunately less than advertised, I get around 180MB/s
No more time SD card right error because the card is too slow. The Panasonic gh5 and gh5s at their 400mbit per second actually sustains a 50 mbyte wright speed. this card at v90 actually gives a 40 MB headroom that headroom pretty much guarantees that unless something bad happens to the card it will always be able to keep up with the gh5 OR gh5s at their absolute highest settings. This card and the gold E60 from Pro grade are the only cards I trust. No more lexar card failures I’ll never touch another lexar platinum or whatever version they have ever again.
Do you have a Sony A7siii? Maybe an FX3? You’re probably sitting there wondering whether you should spend a whole lot of more money to buy Sony Tough cards, which are still fairly new, or just going with the V90 cards. I was in the same boat as you, but thankfully, I did a bunch of research online and watched a lot of videos, and did you know that the ONLY advantage you get by buying CF Express A cards, is that you can record in the highest file format of XAVCS-I 4K? The bitrate on that is 600M, so you need the faster card, but unless you need that ultimate quality (for which any normal person will never see for most use cases), you can record in every single other format with these V90 cards by PROGRADE.
These are cheaper alternatives, and worth every penny when on sale too, which I just happened to catch. I didn’t realize initially that I’d even need to buy new cards, because I had Sandisk Extreme Pro V30’s from my photography cameras, but upon buying the A7Siii, I learned quickly I needed faster cards. I got a great deal on the Sony Tough 128gb cards, but during the last minute, I did further research and found out the info I shared with you above.
For the price of one CF Express A card, you can get 2-3 of these PROGRADE V90 cards. If you’re using an external record, you at least have the backup option available to the hard drive as well as the SD card of the camera, but since I sold my external recorder due to weight, I needed 2 V90 cards for redundancy and being able to record to both at the same time. If you don’t have an external recorder and need redundancy, then you need 2 CF Express A cards – now that’s a lotta money!
In the end, after my research, it was an easy decision – buy 2 V90 cards instead of 1 CF Express A, and still save more money on top of that to buy a 3rd if I need one.
When you receive these cards, they don’t come in any elaborate packaging…literally just a plastic SD Card holder, inside a cardboard sleeve that’s approximately 2 inches wide by 2.5 inches high, and then that is stuffed into a little ziplock bag. A little cheap for the price you’re paying for cards, but in a way, it beats having to pull a chainsaw out to open plastic packaging some manufacturers use.
Make sure you look at the back of the card and match the serial number with that on the case.
Good luck fellow creators!
I have purchased this based on the reviews I hear and so far works perfectly fine.
I would definitely recommend these over Lexar UHS-II V90 cards that kept on giving issues while working.
So far so good with the Sony A7 M4 great value
I have several ProGrade SD cards now that I use for filming with my Sony A7SIII cameras. They perform excellent in camera for writing and reading via the ProGrade card reader or the SD card reader on the new 2021 MacBook Pro. These are my goto memory cards.
I had a Sony Tough card glitch on me and Tony Northrup mentioned the same happening to him. I switched to Prograde, haven’t had any issues.
Item arrived on time and it works without a hitch. Happy with the purchase
Works fine and have no problems yet and much cheaper than Sony cards!
Pros:
Not the “latest tech” – but fast for its type
Reliable
Cons:
Bit pricy
great value for the money! (wish the 256 G was in stock!)
Speed has become extremely important for SD UHS-II cards mainly due to the accelerated pace of video capture in cameras. My camera has dual cards slot, one I use for stills the other for movie. I also have a Sony Tough SD Card, which was a great deal more expensive, and this ProGrade is faster, not by much but enough to make it excellent value for money.
OK, there is one format you cannot film. 120fps 4K AI. But everything else you can. And for those of us happy with the 120fps 4K (non AI), these are a steal. Bought two for my A7siii and can’t fault them so far.
I copied my entire music collection onto this card. Then I plugged it into the glove box card socket. The Volkswagen Polo then allowed me to play any of the tracks. Very, good. More tracks can be loaded at home on the computer by unplugging the card and plugging the card into my home computer. Another way to describe this is, it turned my car into a MP3 player, nice.
This card has been plenty fast enough. So much so that several time I have left a xqd card in the reader gone shooting and didn’t realize what card was in the d 850 until got home. I admit I didn’t shoot any 100 raw file sequences, but I can’t remember ever doing that with any card. People with that heavy a finger are usually inexperienced or need to maintain their composure in those exciting moments.
Ottima scheda x prestazioni elevate.
I use it in my sony a7siii and zero issues. I bought 2 cf express cards when I didn’t need to cause this is all I need to shoot 4k at 120p. Handles 10 bit 4.2.2 just fine.
Really good price and a great product never had any data issues.
The card performed superbly. And the price was very competitive with similar products from other companies.
Incredibly fast and perfect for my usage. Definitely going to buy another one.
So far, so good on these ProGrade SD cards. (This is my second reorder.)
Fait le job compltement. Satisfait du traitement des donnes. Fiable et robuste ! Trs bie
excellent alternative to the sony tough cards V90. Will buy more very soon!
I use this in my Panasonic G9 without any issues.
Storage is brilliant and high image quality will be buying again as backups.
Got a Porgrade 128GB and a Sony 64gb for about the same price with I got two prograde ! Now they’re out of stock
If they get back in stock grab them while you can !
Competitively priced and (knock on wood) flawless in operation in my a7siii for high-end corporate productions.
Bought this to up my read write speed, had never used prograde before, but after purchasing this one and using it for a while one I will be buying again when needed.
I expected it to be fast but it’s not much faster than a UHS-1
Unless you require all-Intra recording for video, this card works very well with the Sony a7siii
These cards have done well so far. Time will tell if they’re reliable or not.
Since my camera is a dual-slot camera where you can have two memory cards installed and in use simultaneously, I chose these two to do the job.
Many choose to store RAW photos on one and JPEG on the other, just as a safety measure, others choose RAW on one and video on the other. It’s up to you how you want to do it.
The cards do exactly what they were promised to do, so I’m quite happy with them.
Perfect for my use with a Panasonic LUMIX S1R… Happy with my purchase.
These cards are one of the industries best kept secrets. Great quality with easy counterfeit checking via serial number & registration. Work flawlessly & fast.
Tried it out several times on the Sony A1 and it worked flawlessly. Highly recommended.
Used on A7siii. Works well. Good speeds. Reliable so far anyways. Cheaper than Sony cards. However these types of cards are pricey. Hope they will come down in cost.
Excellent product. I’ve tried other V90 cards from Lexar and I’ve had some issues on high speed filming with the Canon C70. Theses ProGrade cards have never missed a beat. I usally use only Sandisk but they do not do a V90 SD card. I will be using ProGrade cards from now on. Excellent value for money and totally reliable – with Amazon service and guarantee couldn’t go wrong.
cordiali saluti
I just got this card in the mail today, and immediately tested it against my Sony Tough card that has 299 MB/s write speed, and it was equally as fast.
I shot 85 compressed RAW images in succession on both cards, then timed how long it took after shooting 85 images for the cards to buffer.
Both cards were exactly equal, and took roughly 25.4 seconds.
This is huge – my Sony Tough card was my fastest card, which has been so important when shooting with the A7RIV because of its huge file sizes. So, either this card writes faster than is advertised, or Sony’s Tough series writes slower than they advertise. Either way, this card is a game changer. Amazing value for the money. Definitely keeping it in slot 1 in my A7RIV. My Sony estimates it can write 4,125 compressed 62 megapixel RAW files to this card. Will probably be buying another one of these at some point, doubling my camera’s storage capacity to 8,250 images.
These cards work great with the 600mbps codec in the A7siii. The cards achieve 250MB/s in my card reader. Extremely reliable so far, no issues, very fast, great value!
I got this card because I was not ready to shell out the money for the CF Express Type A cards and wanted to shoot 24fps All-I. This card works great for shooting up to 60fps All-I on the A7SIII.
So far, so food! Been using for few months now it helps keep my a7III efficiently record 4k.
Used on Sony A7SIII just like everyone else saying, you can record all file format on this card but XAVC SI 4K.
Could give five stars but price point isn’t that great.
No issues filming at the highest bitrate in 4k with my Fujifilm XT4.
Works wonderfully in both my Panny G9 and Oly M1 III. Not a hitch or hiccough in either.
Invested in 2 of these bad boys for my new A7S3 and feel super confident shooting a wedding video without worry. (Right now I shoot mostly 1080p but will have to test out how long they work with 4K.
I bought two of these cards for a Canon R5 camera, which takes up to 20 FPS at 45 MP. My older UHS 1 cards simply could not keep up with the camera but these do. I decided on ProGrade after reading many reviews online, in particular on the Fred Miranda website.

I read up on these and their cards had excellent reviews. A team from I think Sandisk and another major manufacturer left to start this company and the performance is the same as my Sandisk equivalent. No issues so far and their warranty program looks great, as each card has a serial that’s individually registered. Going forward will be adding this brand to my options as previously I only bought Sandisk.
The packaging was a little suspect…feel like it wouldn’t normally come like this. It does have a serial number however which gives me confidence that I bought an authentic card. I’ve ordered another for comparison and will be taking them for a shoot on the a7siii this weekend so I’ll update if there are any concerns but this packing is super sus.
Only card that hasn’t failed me during a wedding. I always run a backup card but its still never good to have a card fail and with this card it never has failed. Its super fast for file transfers and is fast enough for nikon cameras and the bmpcc4k camera.
I bought this UHS-II SD memory card for my Nikon mirrorless camera, and it works perfectly, with great write speed and ample capacity. I love that I don’t have to think about the memory card inside my camera — it performs as it should and therefore is the last thing I worry about. Even when I take continuous shots, I don’t have to wait for them to write to the card. They are just there, stored, in almost no time. If you plan to film longer 4K videos, you might want more capactiy but for short videos and stills, 64GB is fine.

Good value for the speed. Works fine with my camera.
Ottimo prodotto !
I checked with the manufacturers if the serial numbers were legit. All good and performance is fantastic. Little pricey but I can shoot raw and jpeg simultaneously with no issue on my EM1X. Highly recommend
So I recently purchased a V90 Lexar card from a reputable retailer and tested the card and found that it was no where near as fast as it was advertised, it tested with 20mbs write speed. This prograde card, however was very close to the advertised speed. See pics!

Great SDXC UHS-II, fast and have suffered no buffering issues at 11fps on high burst.
Brilliant alternative reasonably priced fast card if you need the higher bit rate.
So far no faults or malfunctions.
Fast and better value than the Sony XQD – or any brand XQD. Support this company.
For those who are not aware, Sony A7R4 is a 61 megapixel camera that produces monster size RAW files….61MB in compressed and 121MB in uncompressed RAW format….I shoot wildlife and hence always on High Speed Continuous shooting mode….but this memory card keeps up well with high speed continuous shooting on my A7R4….recommended if you need high speed writing and reading…
I got it to use on my Fujifilm X-T3 to shoot 4K video! And so far it works great!!!
Holy shnikes batman these cards rock! Shooting raw at max shutter speed writing to slot one, this card clears the camera buffer in like 2 seconds and not 15 seconds like with sandisk extreme. There is nothing I can throw at this thing to slow it down. And when I get a minute of downtime I copy card one to card two for backup and it writes at max UHS 1 speeds. These cards are tested for every sector at the factory ant it takes 45 minutes for each card, unlike sandisks which are only tested for 45 seconds which is why there’s about a 2% failure rate. I’ll only buy Prograde from now on as their warranty and service is the best in the business. You gotta pay to play.
Able to handle burst shooting (RAW) 47MP, 20 frames per second with the electronic shutter.
Tested by the manufacturer and guarantee to work. Not as fast as the Lexar sd card with the same rating but this one has never failed on me.
Good product but I think that all make of SD cards are overpriced.
Speed: brilliant, in camera (40+ map, 4K) and transfer speeds fantastic. A must buy if you want to ensure your cards are never a bottleneck.
Write speed is fast – very fast – noticeably quicker than UH1 cards.
Stable, fast, reliable. Works perfectly on my Panasonic S1H. A Panasonic representative recommended these ProGrade V90 SD cards for use with the S1H.
very fast card, purchased 3 off these and pleased with all
The SD card works as expected. 5 stars but as I have not yet tested its transfer speed this could change. I am waiting for the USB 3.1 Gen 2 card reader to test, but first impressions are really fast write speeds in my Olympus Em1 camera. Not had long enough to comment on its reliability.
Working well with Panasonic S1H for both stills and video shooting.
Perfectly happy with performance of these cards on my last several shoots. No issues to complain of. They perform exactly as hoped. I’ve been shooting at various frame rates, bit rates, resolutions, etc. and situations. Never have to worry about how the cards will hold up, and that’s exactly how it should be.
