Great little sucke
Just what I was looking for to quickly collect crumbs, stove ash and dog fur that blows like tumbleweed across our tiled floor. The turbo function is handy and it looks nice and sleek too. Really quick and easy to empty the trap too. Cute little thing, very happy with it.
Remarkably powerful little machine that replaced an ageing B&D. This is a quantum leap compared to that – and will actually hoover up stuff where the old one was only just capable of sucking up little dust bunnies and other lightweight items.
We’ve only had it a month so long term performance remains to be seen but so far it’s a very useful thing to have around.
Prior to buying this I looked at the negatives of the small collection area, the short battery life and the high price. Since getting it these have not been ant issue. This is not a vacuum to clean the whole house in one go, it’s to have a quick clean around, clean the car, bathroom, the stairs that sort of thing. We have two small dogs and there is constantly fluff everywhere. Since getting this, you can have a quick clean around everyday without having to get the big vacuum out. You do need a large vacuum to deep clean. On the whole it’s very good, main downside for me is the cost.
Is there a warranty

…. for counters, benches and sills where it saves having to plug in bigger pair. Tidies up spills and dead insects in conservatory readily. And cleaning awkward corners created by architects putting door frames close but not abutting each other!!
Fantastic little hand held hoover from shark. Great power. Easy to clean and worth every penny of the 129.00. On sharks website it’s priced at 179. I would highly recommend this shark hand held hoover. from me.
Great little hoover for our motorhome but the storage has to be standing up has its pictured if it was wall hanging it would be spot on. That the only reason for the four stars
This is a superb bit of engineering. It it stylish and surprisingly powerful for such a compact tool, has an excellent, handy stand which charges the thing and most impressively you empty the machine directly into the dustbin at the flick of a switch. Expensive but far superior to the others I have tried. The one drawback is that the unit functions for only a few minutes before needing to be recharged. I’ve had it for only three weeks and already the battery seems to be running out ever more quickly….
Really useful and good suction for cleaning up little bits quickly. Needs to be emptied frequently but I’m also hoovering up a lot of dog hair and it works well for that.

Great tool for niggly corners and small areas to clea
Whether you are picking up dead flies or leaves in your conservatory or bread crumbs in kitchen this is an ideal tool.
Limited capacity before it needs emptying but a simple operation at push of button. It holds its charge and reflects all you would expect from a smaller shark.

Been looking at these for a while now but been wary of spending so much money on it. But it’s been SO worth it. We have 4 cats so it’s easy to use than getting our big Shark vacuum out and faffing about plugging it in. This cleans up cat hairs really easily without having to even put on the extra suction. Also handy to take camping to vaccinate up my awning in my micro camper.
If you are worried about the spend, it’s absolutely 100% worth it!
This is great for all the crumbs on the work tops/tables and going round the edges of tiled floors which is what I bought it for. It doesn’t work well on carpets but I didn’t expect it to and its not what I want to use it for. So as long as you respect its limitations which is hard surfaces it is great. Very good for uncarpeted stairs.
Two things I don’t like – the position of the lead which comes from the back so the lead is in the appliance as it faces you and had to wrap around the base to go to the plug which is messy – and the whole base is really flimsy and you can’t replace the hoover with one hand and it is easy to tip over. This is a great, powerful little hoover. We super like it and would recommend it. The only reason for not giving it a 5 star is the rather small container that holds what you vacuum up it’s a bit Pathetic! It’s a tiny box that needs to be emptied virtually every time you use it. No good for animal fur/ hair – just clogs it up.
For small jobs, it’s great – anything else, forget it!
Good suction and nice compact size ideal for leaving on display in the kitchen for example as it looks sleek. Just beware of the dubious advertising videos where they demonstrate it picking up a handful of debris. There isn’t any possibility that the quantity of debris would fit into the very very small waste container in the unit without constant emptying. This is ideal for picking up tiny crumbs off the floor and sofa etc but little else. Find by me as that’s why I bought it hence 5 stars.
Highly Recommended Lightweight Hand Held Vacuum

Sleek, small footprint, fits perfectly along side other electronic goods without looking like a typical vacuum cleaner. Given the design and quality, it is superb value.
This shark is lightweight, has style, is good on floors and tile, only ok on carpets (mine is a tight weave carpet) and fabrics such as couches (sometimes I need to feed the lint or dust into the shark when on any carpet or fabric), has only a few minutes of vacuuming before it needs to be recharged.
I bought this for my stairs and I’m so glad I did. The suction is excellent. Would defo tell anyone to buy this

We were very pleased with this little vacuum, it’s very convenient to clean up little spills and great for getting cat hair off the sofa, but it’s also great for hard to reach corners. It’s also great for the stairs rather than lugging the main vacuum around. The suction is really good and very lightweight, the battery last for 10 mins and recharges quickly also it’s really easy to empty and access the filter.
Excellent handheld vacuum, unfortunately faulty after 5 months and have been unable to get a replacement from Amazon despite authorised by Shark.

Good for a quick pick-up, and very good for uncarpeted stairs. Could do with more power for carpeted surfaces. Attachment (provided) definitely needed for fur pickup.

Good product for the carava
We use it mostly in the car and caravan. Battery does not last too long but it does the job well.
Loved it when it was delivered but disappointed when a small clasp fitting snapped and I was unable to use it. I spoke to Shark Customer Service Dept who were very attentive on the phone but promising to send a replacement part out the following day. It eventually arrived two weeks later but guess what? Yep, wrong part obviously designed for full size vacuum. I rang again but instead of Sharp dealing with it under their guarantee they referred me instead to the original point of purchase, Amazon. I must have spent nearly 45 mins on the phone to them who eventually sent me a replacement which up until now, works fine. So, fingers crossed!
I can’t use the normal Henry hoover due to my health condition causing me severe fatigue and pain but this hoover is AMAZING. Not only does it stop at 8 mins so I can’t overdo myself, but the amount of power this little thing is PERFECT.
I have a husky and we all know how much they shed! I managed to do the entire top of the stairs and half the staircase without falling ill! I stopped because it needed charging again which I find actually perfect because it stopped me from pushing through and causing me pain and fatigue.
I am VERY happy with the outcome of this hoover and should it ever fail I’m definitely going to stick with this brand.
P.s. It’s also quiet enough to use at any time of day, which is great for me and hoovering at night when I do have some spare energy to use for cleaning!
It struggles a bit on thicker piled carpets. Handy and light weight for quick clearing up jobs. Battery runs down after 10 minutes or so.
Received yesterday, so can’t comment on durability but: easy toggle to switch on and off i.e. don’t keep finger on button as on my stick vacuum. Lightweight; ideal for anyone with dexterity problems. So far I have tackled crumbs in kitchen, dog fluff bowling round from our dog who doesn’t shed hairs (!), brilliant for skirting boards, cobwebs and crumbs on leather settee. No, it certainly won’t replace a larger vacuum but it does exactly what it said and suction is very good, unlike other hand held machines I have bought.
It would be 5* except I found the stand a bit lightweight and it collapses when I move it around, but this isn’t how to use it and once I decide the most useful destination I’m sure it will be fine. I hope it will withstand daily use but I was able to register for 2 year warranty so feel very happy with my purchase so far.
I bought this to replace a Black and Decker DustBuster Pivot which had got to the stage it could only be used for a few seconds before dying. Incidentally, a new battery pack for this unit costs nearly double the cost of buying a new DustBuster Pivot!!! I wanted another unit like the Black and Decker that just sat on it’s charging dock ready to go and the Sharp filled the bill. The Black and Decker and now the Sharp live(d) on a counter top in our utility room. The Black and Decker was a much bulkier unit than the Sharp which is actually quite attractive to look at.
It is very easy to use and the dust container empties on the touch of a button although first use caught us out as the container opens from the top where my wife was expecting the bottom to open so emptied the dirt onto the floor instead of into the bin!
Suction is very powerful and the unit will “stick” to surfaces being cleaned unless held at the proper angle. The tools work ok also with the pet hair tool being particularly effective. The filter is easily accessible and cleaned. I was a little concerned about battery life of eight minutes but we tend to use this for small one off jobs or hoovering out the car and battery has not been an issue. For anyone who needs longer, there is a twin battery unit available but it is a lot more expensive and we certainly have not missed not having that.
Overall, as handheld vacuums go, the Sharp is relatively expensive but it is powerful and appears robustly built so overall very pleased with it.
Game change
I have only had this a week and I don’t know how I’ve gone so long without it! I have a 2 years old and this is a life saver! Great for cleaning up after meal times, car journeys and just general touch up. Suction great and hasn’t run out of battery yet while I’ve been using we just keep it on constant charge.

Not had much chance to use the vac as we went on holiday just after I got it , but the little I did use it, it did the job I got it for ie cat hairs suite & stairs.

Good suction, easy to empty. Lightweight and very useful for corners, car and stairs etc. Good as a second cleaner as it would be difficult to use it across all floors as obviously you have to mend down to use it. I am very happy with this purchase.
I don’t regret it!
So it’s pricey for what it does but it’s a help especially with small children and a cat who leave a trail of crumbs everywhere. I haven’t used on stairs but its run time doesn’t last very long good for quick pick ups during the day
Powerful Vacuum Cleane

It’s not designed to be the main vacuum!
I’ve been wanting a hand held vacuum for quite some time now and was keen for this model but really I couldn’t justify the price for the dual battery model so I’ve made do with my everyday shark vacuum. I checked prices on Amazon and found the dual battery model reduced to 100 which was cheaper than the single battery model (I assume a sooooped up new version has or is about to be released).
Of course it arrives in Amazon packaging that would fit a small car! Straight from the box, no need to read instructions, quick test then charged the battery. I can’t comment as yet on the length of usage with one battery, it did take a couple of hours to charge though. To be fair, there are some bad reviews, both on Amazon and on other sites, mainly about the length of battery usage but also the suction power. I was pleasantly surprised at the suction power, much better than I’d anticipated given some of the negative reviews. I tested it on the cat tree, round the skirtings of the hall and living room, half a dozen window ledges, behind a couple of floor lamps, around the edges of the kitchen where crumbs live as well as the cooker top. It picked everything up and the battery still had charge in it.
If you are buying this to clean your car, or use everywhere in the house you may be disappointed. If you are buying it as it’s intended as a convenient small vacuum that you get out as and when small jobs crop up you’ll be more than happy.
I don’t disbelieve negative reviews, they are written as the persons own experience but my own experience differs from those and although it’s only day 1, I’m so glad I bought it.
I will continue to monitor its performance and will of course update this review if it’s performance doesn’t last.
Great for corners & ca
I got this for my daughter from her Amazon wish list. She lives in a large flat with polished wood floors.
She has a robot vacuum which is great but doesn’t clean the corners too well. so with this one she can just wiz around & do those in a few minuets. its also very useful for her car that is parked up several steps on the car park. Much better than having to run an extension lead or finding time and spending money on valeting.

Best handheld vacuum I ever tried
Excellent vacuum, light weight & powefull. The battery is more than sufficient. It made a descent job of everything I threw at it including my car.

This is by far the best and lightest handheld vacuum in my opinion. It is so easy and neat to recharge, and the battery life is just enough to do the little jobs it is designed for, but I recommend two batteries for extensive use.
It’s great for getting animal fur off the sofa and stairs and quickly going to the car to get some stray crumbs.
It is SO unbelievably light, and I purchased another one for an elderly relative who was struggling with the weight of the handheld attachments on normal vacuums. She said it is the best Christmas present ever.

Wasn’t sure at first but much better with attachments
When it first arrived I thought it blew more around than it picked up & felt a bit disappointed especially for the price, but once I added the nozzle it worked much better. It does blow out a lot of air & is quite noisy. Not sure I would feel full price is good value but for the sale price I’m really happy. Easy to use & to empty the dust bin. I’m not sure it’s a large enough nozzle to make a quick job of stairs but overall I’m pleased with it & it’s pretty effective.

Very lightweight and can reach into small tight areas my hoover nozzle can’t reach, easy for reaching around ceiling’s and top of curtains.
Powerful for its size but short run time
Great suction power for the size of the unit but this comes at the expense of a fairly short running time of around 6-8 minutes before the charge runs out. The 2 accessories supplied are good. Overall pleased with the product.
Makes light work out of vacuuming awkward places!
Initially bought it for cleaning out my car, but found it so useful for other jobs around the house too –
awkward corners, chair upholstery, around and under radiators, not to mention the stairs (saves me heaving around a standard vacuum which is quite heavy for me compared to the Shark cordless)
