The vacuum cleaner is very easy to assembly/disassemble and comes with a number of add-ons like a small brush, a small roller, bigger roller.
Dust collector is very small for heavy-duty vacuum and will get filled up very quickly. I was expecting the dust collector to be a bit bigger for house use. The roller on both add-ons is very good when comes to hair that doesn’t get stuck on the roller because of the material that is made.
The two batteries also provides a bit more time for vacuum.
With a dust collector so small, I believe can be used in a car or very small clean up in the house.

The suction power is fantastic and it does the work.
The battery is good as long I`m not using too much the turbo button and the roller.

In my opinion, the price of 199 is a very expensive vacuum for any use.

Unfortunately, I gave 4 stars just because of the dust collector and the price.

I hope my review and picture/video can help you decide.

I love this shark vacuum, and for the price it really didn’t disappoint.
There is so much to say about this vacuum that I’m just going to do a simple pros and cons list.

    Pros:
    – It’s super lightweight and easy to maneuver around the house
    – comes with 2 rechargeable batteries
    – the storage plate plugs in and sits of the floor for easy storage and charging
    – Great suction power, can tackle any mess
    – had a power indicator and a beep function whilst you use that tells you when you drop a bar of power
    – takes around 3 hours to charge and lasts about 15 minutes (with two batteries you could get 30min run time)
-the vacuum is easily emptied and has 3 simple screws to remove the brush bar for easy cleaning and maintenance
    – has a turbo function
    – comes with accessories (a crevice tool, pet tool, brush tool)
    – can be taken apart to make a handheld vacuum to make easy work of stairs and the car
    – looks super sleek and stylish
    – for its power is surprisingly quiet too
    – a bonus, all the packaging was paper not plastic bags so it could all be recycled – great for the planet

    Cons- (just my opinion)
    – I wish it had a light on the bottom so you could see the floor better to get a more thorough clean
    – also wish that the handle was a little better designed. It’s quite thick and has no support around your hand so you could drop it more easily as you can’t get an ideal grasp of it. This would also be a problem for people with weak hands or joints, elderly or anyone with underlying conditions that affect fine motor skills.
    – the price, its a lot pricier than I would normally go for

The cons are only small things and if you really want a cordless, powerful, stylish, quiet, lightweight, multiuse vacuum with 2 batteries, a charging station AND accessories then this is perfect. Works great, I love it.

Powerful, lightweight and does all the jobs

I love the idea off a second battery charging whilst using the first. Ideal for stairs being so light and works just as well on hard floors as it does on carpet. Good buy.

Easy to assemble. This is very light to use, easy to carry up and downstairs and takes little room up and it’s not in use. The battery life is short at only 15 minutes so I can’t whizz around the whole house in one cleaning session but what it cleans is well done. I like that I can use it on the furniture too especially with a dog snd grandchildren. It is versatile, cleans under the sofa and down the sides of the TV.
I like that there isn’t cables that restrict where I am vacuuming. I used to be terrible for vacuuming over the electric cable on other cleaners. You do need to empty this every time you use t but that is such a simple process and just becomes part of the routine. It is so much easier to get this out to give a quick tidy than a dust pan and brush.

This 2 in 1 wand vac is an amazing back up vacuum cleaner to my main large one.
This Shark vac is well built from high quality materials and feels luxurious as it is premium built. Each connecting part is beautifully made and feels rugged and durable.
I was surprised that this vacuum cleaner came with a spare battery which is a very important thing and I can rotate and have more time to vacuum.
The vacuum cleaner slips over the main part snuggly and forms a compact house vacuum cleaner to vacuum small debris and awkward places that my big vacuum cleaner can’t reach. The Shark is great for stairs as I can work faster and more efficiently. The adapters mean I could vac curtains, cobwebs, window sills and much more.. this lightweight and easy to carry around vacuum cleaner means I don’t have to struggle as it’s not heavy at all.
To vacuum using the wand is done by sliding the switch and the wand separates from the lower section. Then I slide the smaller brush head on and can vacuum small places like my car, window sills, car boot, sofa etc… because its shorter, suction power is stronger due to less tubes and parts to travel through. It also has a boost feature to give it more suction power.
It may not be as powerful as the big brother vacs. but then it’s not supposed to replace it, but it does it’s job as a compact 2 in 1 vac. perfectly.
Noise wise, it’s loud but a premium kind of loud and is acceptable for a product like this. The buttons and spinning brushes work like a dream and you can see the small debris being sucked up into the dirt cannister. The cannister is a little smaller than I like but then again it’s a backup vac. amd emptying it is simple. Pressing a button releases the cannister and you just empty the contents. Rechargeable the vac is simple by carefully lowering and sliding it onto the platforms charger port. The spare battery slips into a separate port.
I am very happy with this Shark Vac. cleaner and it has a generous warranty.
The current price is excellent for a vacuum cleaner of this quality and performance.

Short review: this is a very good option if you have a small place or if you’d like a light weight second vacuum to reach difficult areas.

First impressions of the WandVac were positive. Composed of clean lines and having a slim profile, it’s an inobtrusive appliance. The included stand doesn’t have a huge footprint so it can tuck away neatly into a corner. Sadly, there’s isn’t much accommodation for the tools in the stand or on the vacuum itself, possibly in an Apple-like desire to keep things streamlined at the expense of utility. The WandVac can stand unaided, though it’s slightly precarious.

It comes with two batteries that each last around 12-15 minutes in my experience. This is enough for our whole 2 bedroom flat if we work quickly. Fortunately, because the vacuum is lightweight and cordless, I’ve found that the cleaning is actually done faster due to my increased mobility. At first I was quite sceptical about such a short running time, but it makes total sense when you consider that weight must’ve been a priority. I can see it being very useful for the elderly and those of us with impaired manual strength.

The dustbin is small and does need to be emptied quite frequently. Fortunately, emptying it is really easy. Press a button and the spring loaded mechanism jettisons the waste with a good amount of force. I haven’t had to dig into the container to extricate anything with my fingers yet, which is a big upgrade over the AEG cordless vacuum I was using before.

One practicality to note is that it’s a vacuum that doesn’t really suit tall people, unless there’s some way to extend the handle that I haven’t discovered yet. Even at 5’8″ I find myself wishing the handle was a little longer at times.

The included attachments all work really well and are easy to fit and remove. I’ve attached a video of the precise suction tool to this review. The small rotary brush is ideal for cleaning around skirting boards and corners that the larger head can’t reach.

Our flat has two long people with long hair and two cats, one of which is a constantly shedding ragdoll. We wage a constant battle to keep our floor and upholstery relatively clear of human hair and feline follicles. Our previous Shark hoover had a rotary head that frequently became congested with hair, so I was excited to read the anti-hair wrap claims for this cordless cleaner. To my surprise, even after vacuuming the whole flat, there wasn’t any hair wrapped around the brush – see picture.

Overall, I think this is a great option for small flats with pets or for larger homes that could benefit from an ‘upstairs’ vacuum or an additional option for reaching tricky spots. I have minor quibbles about the lack of storage for attachments and the height of the vacuum, but they’re easy things to work around in return for such a versatile cleaning tool.

Wonderfully versatile and lightweight - great for small homes or as a secondary vacuum

The Anti hair wrap tech seems to gather hair into a ball which can then easily be pulled off the roller, and is so much more effective at stopping hair wrapping around than those without.

The stand is included as it doesn’t seem designed to be stood upright on its own, it’s too unstable without it. I can manage to stand it up in floor mode without the stand, but it takes time and it’s not worth the risk of it toppling over. However, it’s perfectly stable in the stand.

The storage on the stand only secures the crevice tool though, the multi surface and motorised pet tools have to just be laid on top.

The dust collection box is small, but emptying is quick and simple. Also, you don’t have to keep hold of the power button to keep it turned on.

Brilliant for quick daily cleans, however if you really need to go over heavily soiled carpets in a number of large rooms, then it may be difficult to get it all done on the first charge of the two batteries.

Changing from handheld to floor mode couldn’t be easier and I’m really impressed with how the whole hoover has a really sturdy feel to it, especially where different parts join together.

    Brilliant for quick daily cleans

This is a great Vacuum with two batteries and three extra heads . I was shocked at how much Cat hair it picked up because I had just vacuumed a few days before. It’s well made and easy to push .You can go from carpet to hard floor without a problem which is nice . I also like the dust compartment with the open button so you don’t have to dismatle half the vacuum to get it out. Great for the price and fast delivery .

    Highly recommend

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat I liked: cordless, rechargeable, easy to grab and use for zooming around the floors like a normal hoover. And using as a handheld. Excellent attachment for using on stairs as a handheld. Also gets into a lot of narrow gaps between bed and unit etc. Also comes with a brush attachment for dried mud on mats. Works well on wooden floors as well as carpet and door mats. Ideal for carrying out to the car to use as well as the home. The instructions were a bit confusing in areas and lacking extra information. By trial and error, I believe I have sussed the charging method now. At first I tried to charge it and it only charged part way through. I didn’t realise the light on the base lights up when the cleaner isn’t connected properly in the dock. So the dog must have knocked it whilst having a nose at it? Anyway, if the light pops on it’s not charging. But the light on the cleaner must be pulsing. The more charged up, then the next light starts pulsing and so on. The spare battery in the docking station does not charge. Looks like connections in it to charge. But I’ve tried everything and it’s just a storage compartment. Which is what the manual is stating as well. I really like the two batteries. But ideally would like to be able to charge one up separately, whilst being able to use the other in the cleaner. So if the docking station could charge a battery as well in that storage compartment it would have been the icing on the cake so to speak. I would also have liked to see a light on the bottom of the main cleaner head. They are ideal to use on wooden floors in the dark. My type of floor can look clean but once a cleaner light is on in the dark. Then you can really see that clean floor actually has fine dust and dog hairs on. The battery life is enough to do the whole of my large flat quickly. And still have enough charge to pop up my mothers to clean her carpeted stairs with. I don’t have to take the whole cleaner with me, but just the hand held part and the stair attachment. It’s light weight to carry to her home and bring back again. Plus I can take the spare fully charged battery with me if needed. I also like the beater roller bar inside the head units. My long hair isn’t getting tangled around it so far. A few months of usage will be the best time to tell on that though. As that is the amount of time I usually end up having to remove it all from my other standard cleaners that have the brush type version. Didn’t take long to get use to the wand handle over conventional loop handle type. My arm some days does get a bit achy from grabbing hold of it on longer uses. The whole cleaner doesn’t stand up on its own unless the battery weight is taken out of the top. Or handle part is removed. All stands up fine on the docking station though. The dust canister is easy to empty over a large bin liner. As the spring action opens it very quickly and quite wide. Takes some getting use to where all the buttons are and not accidentally open the dust compartment by mistake lol. I personally am not too keen on the colour of the Shark cleaner. I would have preferred it to be a more neutral silver and black rubber detail in the main hoover head. The blue doesn’t go with any of my decor and looks cheap along with the yellow rubber in the main hoover head, that sticks out like a sore thumb. But it is a good hoover. My elderly mother has been able to use it as well. It would also suit her very well, being out ready in the docking station. So in fairness. A lot of my niggles are down to the way I want it to look to fit into my home. Where from an older generations perspective; this is an ideal light weight easy to use cleaner with good suction on it, and easy to empty. The base cleaner head is the heaviest part on it. But you only need to lift it for docking, which my elderly mother can do easily with both hands. Me it’s no problem with one hand. Lastly as per demonstrated in my video attachment. Like a lot of these cordless cleaners I find. It does not clean when pulling it backwards. It just pushes the dirt back. So you have to bare that in mind when cleaning. So forward motion and and pull back where you have already cleaned, then push forward over the dirty next area. The cleaner had no problem sucking up the pieces of paper I showed in the video and done a grand job of lifting the fine dust off my wooden floors. It’s a bit noisier than most cordless cleaners I have used. But is still quieter than a conventional plug in hoover. Overall a good handy cleaner to have.

Very handy cordless cleaner, with good suction.

I have been a recent convert to Shark cleaners mainly down to having two children with long hair. I have another larger cordless Shark cleaner which I keep downstairs.

This vacuum came in a box with the four attachments shown from left to right: the crevice tool, the motorised pet tool, the multi surface tool and the main floor cleaning attachment. The vacuum can either used with these attachments directly or by connecting an intermediate wand (included) which allows further reach. The box also includes a spare battery, charging dock and instructions.

Each battery lasts around fifteen minutes which may not seem like long but there are two batteries. The batteries can be swapped easily by gripping on the side of the one battery and lifting it out of the vacuum. The charging base holds both the vacuum for charging and the spare battery – once the vacuum battery is charged the spare battery will be charged. Charging status is shown by LED indicators on the handle and charging base. The instructions suggest that when not in use the vacuum can be left on the charging base to charge – it won’t depreciate the battery by leaving it on the smart charger.

I found the suction good on this vacuum and it certainly cleaned the floor. The anti hair wrap technology I find a great feature and I generally don’t need to remove any long hair from the end like my last non Shark vacuum. The vacuum is surprisingly light and easy to use – the top can be clipped from the rest straight off the charging plate and used for minor spills.

The dust container is quite small and I find I empty it after each room – there’s a switch on the handle to open the compartment but make sure you’re over a bin at the time! Considering the weight of the vacuum and the ease of use, a small container is probably necessary.

The range of attachments is very good – the main tool and the smaller pet tool are both motorised making them easier to push. The crevice tool Is good for getting right into the edges and the multi-surface tool I mainly use as a duster – cleaning the top of shelves etc. With the wand attached the vacuum is still light enough to hold up and clean any cobwebs etc from ceiling edges.

I do like this vacuum and with the spare battery it could easily clean my whole house, with emptying the dust container as I go. I find it handy having this one on its charging plate upstairs. A great vacuum.

Almost but not quite the perfect small place vacuum. I have an older Shark cordless and TBH it’s the only cordless I’ve stuck with. The advantages of cordless are obvious day to day, but battery life needs watching. This one is way smaller and lighter. Looks cool too!

It’s ideal IMO for a smaller apartment and especially one without deep carpets in each room. It struggles a bit in my bedroom, but the other rooms, two standard carpeted, and two vinyl, no problem. The dust/fluff bin container is very small. Again, probably indicates the intended market. Placement of buttons isn’t necessarily intuitive. I kept pressing the button below the on/off thinking it was the booster switch. It just dumps all that you’ve just hoovered onto the floor again. It does empty easily tho, unlike my original Shark which all too often needs inserting fingers to pull stuff out. Suck power is less than the other Shark, but acceptable. The boost function works but barely makes a difference. Suck is better than the other brands of cordless I’ve had.

Design wise, I think apart from buttons placement, this is great. Looks way more contemporary ‘designed’ than my old model. Really sleek. This also comes with an extra battery to take you to 30 minutes plus, so enough for most places in one go, and recharge through the supplied stand is very easy – one through the stand and the second via the cleaner. Insertion of a new battery is super easy.

Bear in mind several rooms of deep carpet will be frustrating to clean and so look at a more powerful model. This model isn’t really intended for some places or some uses IMO. Easy 4**** even so. I really like this one just minor issues prevent a full on 5 score. With the second battery 199 feels decent enough value wise.

Once you have figured out how to put it together and have charged it up, I am sure you will love this as much as we do.

The hand held part is easy to use, light and very effective. Although the dust compartment is fairly small, this does mean that I empty and clean it more often than my current larger model. The filters are simple to clean also.

We have a combination of solid lacquered wood floors and rugs so the upright cleaner is ideal for us and it does a grand job of picking up daily dust, although initially I found it more awkward to manoeuvre than my current vacuum. Once I became used to it, it rapidly became a new favourite.

The charging process is fast and lasts long enough for a once- over around our apartment. Having a backup battery always on charge is a handy bonus. The docking plate is neat.

All the tools are easy to fit on and to take off and they all fulfill a useful purpose. The rose gold finish is incredibly smart too.

Overall thus is a strong recommendation. We do not have pets but a doggy friend would not be without hers!

This 2-in-1 cordless vacuum is an excellent backup option to have to the main vacuum. It is sleek, lightweight, easy to handle, has strong suction and the continuous charge function means it is always available & ready to use. The design is really good and the colour options are fantastic which means it can be displayed freely, within reach, and doesn’t need to be kept hidden away.
With the wand attachment, it is easy to reach high or narrow areas with ease. In the handheld mode, the suction is strong and it makes light work of cleaning up worktops, furnishings or pet hair. I have found the run time to be roughly about 15 minutes on a single battery in boost mode so it is really efficient for a quick clean-up. It also has the well-known Shark anti-hair wrap technology in the floor attachment to reduce the mess when picking up hair. The dust cup has a reasonable capacity and is easy to empty with the touch of a button.
I have used this vacuum on hard floors, carpets, fabric sofas and in the car. Each time, it has done the job efficiently and I didn’t have to go over the same area more than twice. It comes with all the attachments you’d need to use around the house, office or car.
If you are looking for a backup vacuum, this should be your number one choice. I can also go as far as to say you can easily have this as your main vacuum if you live in a flat or studio apartment. I highly recommend it!

This is a slimline vacuum set that features four vacuum heads and the benefits of handheld cordless technology.

Before I get into the pros and cons of this product I want to mention that there was not one piece of plastic when unpacking this. All components were wrapped in soft paper and placed in cardboard. All recyclable, I applaud you Shark.

Once unpacked this was easy to set up and with just a few clicks it was ready for its first charge. It is recommended to fully charge before first use.

The upright headset is lightweight but doesn’t compromise on brushing or suction power. It is easy to carry around the home and much easier than carrying a full size vacuum up the stairs. Manoeuvrability is good, it moves very much like a traditional vacuum it doesn’t feel as fluid as my dyson but that has ‘the ball’, so it wasn’t really going to compete with that. The head size is small enough to easily fit under my wardrobes and other small awkward places. One drawback I personally feel disappointed in is that it cannot stand upright unaided by the charge stand. If you are vacuuming and there’s a knock at the door you either have to lay it flat on the floor or prop it against a wall to be able to go answer the door. This is because it is top heavy with the motor unit being at the top to convert it into a smaller handheld. Whilst I understand this doesn’t fall into the upright category of vacuums and is technically a handheld I do feel because of its size being able to stand unaided would have been a benefit.

Removing the heads is easy there are two buttons either side that once pressed the heads slip out and you can swap them out.

The crevice tool (long pointy one) is great at vacuuming crumbs from around, under and in between kitchen cupboards. The suction power is on par with my dyson I was really impressed. It completely out performed my other handheld vacuums.

The motorised pet tool/head is a mini version of the upright head. Now this works brilliantly but is very noisy! Like ear piercingly loud. It’s performance makes up for this and instead of being grumpy about the noise you are happy at the job you’ve done. If noise level is something that matters to you, I’d say this wasn’t for you.

The multi surface tool is basically a non-motorised brush head. This is gentle but still with suction power. It is suitable for delicate rugs/furniture/curtains.

When it comes to emptying the dust cup this should be done after every use, it’s only small and is incredibly easy to do. As it is to be done so frequently the button to empty is literally under the power button. Make sure you are over your bin as it opens quite quickly and immediately drops all your dust/dirt out.

Competitively priced at 199 (Jan 2022) you are getting a lot for your money. Many of its competitors don’t offer the variety of heads making this a unique solution to everyday cleaning. The portability and ease of use are big selling points and I for one would purchase this again. If you’re in the market for a versatile handheld with multiple uses then I think you’ve found what you are looking for.

    Powerful and versatile ⭐️

It’s lightweight. It’s neat. It breaks down into a hand held vac or a wand vac. Suction is A1. I get about 20 minutes full on cleaning from the battery then just change them over.

    What DON’T I like?
The on/off button is directly above the dustbin release button, which also acts as the boost button. Yes, you’ve guessed it. I keep emptying the bin in the middle of the carpet. Rather a stupid design I think. Come on Shark. You get everything else right, let yourself down on this point.
Once the 2 batteries are exhausted it’s 3+ hours before they’re ready for another round of cleaning.

But apart from that I’m delighted. Much better than my old GTech and the horrendous Hoover battery vac I bought a year ago.

I really like this; it’s powerful, and easy to handle and use. However, the lightweight battery means it will only last about a quarter of an hour of use before needing a recharge.

It’s very smart-looking on its charging base and the build quality is excellent. I’m happy with the suction power for such a small unit, especially while the ‘turbo’ button on the underside is pressed. Although the dust container is small, it flips open to empty very quickly, and because the suction of the thing compresses the waste together, it fits in more than expected.

Because of the short battery life, it’s not suitable for cleaning the entirety of a house – but I don’t think the expectation is that it will. It’s so lightweight it’s a breeze to use for cleaning the stairs and getting round corners – as well as convenient to grab for minor spills or kitchen crumbs. For minor jobs (or if you live in a studio or a one-bed place) it’s fantastic.

We are only two elderly people and have been using it for general cleaning
all over our 4-bedrioms house. 40% of the floor is laminated and the rest is carpeted. My wife and I, we both share the art of cleaning our house weekly. Light weight, easy to glide clean all surfaces. The second battery is very useful. One battery last approximately 15 mins while the second is ready to be used when required.
Very happy with over all and all-round performance.

I already own a Shark corded vacuum cleaner and am mightily impressed with its cleaning power but find it rather heavy across carpets and being corded not so flexible as a cordless vacuum cleaner. So trying out this Shark Wandvac System Cordless Handheld Vacuum WV362BLUKT I am very impressed with it too though it is a different type of machine and it is unfair to compare a regular vacuum to a cordless wand one.

    On arrival I was impressed by how carefully everything was packaged in cardboard and paper, no plastic waste at all. The pieces easily fit together and look very well made. There are 3 pieces to click together plus a recharging stand with a 3-pin plug, the included instructions are very clear and illustrated, probably the easiest I’ve read in a long time. The top part is also a handheld vacuum cleaner and can be used with the 3 accessories as well as the end of the wand part. There is a main large cleaning head with an anti hair wrap brush roll inside that works brilliantly with long hair and pet hair (I have long waist length hair and a black cat and dog on beige carpets). There’s definitely much less hair on the roller, though it does get on there eventually, but keep use scissors to cut across the rolled hair to remove it easily. The accessories are;

    A smaller motorised pet tool

    A crevice tool

A multi surface tool (the brush part comes off)

And two batteries (one is already charged in the top of the vacuum cleaner).

It’s very lightweight to use and the wand handle is very flexible to go easily under furniture like coffee tables or footed sofas. It doesn’t have a light like it’s big brother, but I don’t mind as this vacuum whizzes round easily and picks up into the edges and corners. It’s fairly quiet, though the heads with the rollers in are quite noisy, the handheld vacuum is quieter without them. It cleans the stair carpet well though the tools aren’t flexible like the main head, but the angle seems ergonomically good.

The battery lasted just over 15 minutes, it turned itself off but it was easy to pull out the battery from the top and pop in the charged one from the recharging station. When finished just put the vacuum cleaner back onto the recharging station and the one in handle will recharge too along with the other one on the station. Once they have charged up they do not continue to draw electricity but store the charge until needed. It takes 3 1/2 hours for a full charge.

The vacuum has a boost button on the back of the handle you hold for an extra bit of oomph a bit like holding a cold shot button on a hairdryer. It’s very effective on stubborn fluff. The wand can be used for reaching curtains and cobwebs around coving and in corners and lights. The handheld vacuum cleaner is perfect for sofas and the car interior, especially using the crevice tool for picking up those pesky crumbs down the edges and dirt in the footwells in the car. It has more power than any handheld I’ve used before.
It’s very simple to use too. Cleaning it is easy, there’s a push down switch under the power button to open the dust cup. It swings open, so hold it over the bin and the dust and fluff will fall out easily and cleanly. A quick wipe inside with a kitchen paper keeps it dust free. Cleaning the filter is very straightforward too, as are the floor nozzles and heads.

I am genuinely very impressed with this new vacuum cleaner from Shark, the light metallic blue is lovely, the design is sleek and stylish and above all, it functions very well as a handy vacuum cleaner that’s lightweight and convenient as it’s cordless. Shark offer an excellent 5 year guarantee which gives me peace of mind they’re confident in their product. Please see my photos, I hope my honest review is helpful to you, thank you for reading it.

Its a very convenient device for running over the floor tidying up the everyday bits a family create. The suction isn’t as good as a hoover but it’s more than enough to make the house tidy. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got to test this appliance and found it so easy to put together, even my children helped and I was impressed with how quickly it charged and you can get what you need done within the battery life
Really pleased with this vacuum, light, agile and very efficient. Can tackle both hard and carpeted floors and it is satisfying to see the amount of dust and hair it picks up each time. Compact and fits nicely into a small space whilst charging.
I’ve had this vacuum cleaner for almost a month and I honestly can’t imagine what I’d do without it. The anti hair wrap technology really works which is my favourite thing about the hoover. My wife has very long brown hair which appears absolutely everywhere in the house, this is the only vacuum I have come across which not only sucks the hairs up efficiently but it also doesn’t get wrapped around the pole at the bottom of the vacuum. I have no idea how Shark has managed to produce this but I’m so pleased they have as it is making our lives much easier.
It’s absolutely ideal for small messes that need clearing up without the fuss of having to do a full vacuum. It’s ideal for crumbs, dried mud from shoes that’s been walked in. It also works brilliantly on hard floors AND carpets. I love how easy it was to assemble and the fact it has its own stand too which keeps it neat and tidy.
    We can recommend this model
I will update later if there’s any issues as I like my reviews to be helpful.

Easy to use and great results, highly recommended.

First of all,the packaging was all recyclable, with no plastic at all which is impressive. The instructions are very clear, but if you don’t read them first, you end up with dust all over your feet by pressing the wrong button. Note, this is not a replacement for your main hoover. It’s an add on for speed and short jobs. As long as you are buying it with that in mind. You will not be disappointed.

I had never tried Shark before. We have had Dyson and GTech, both over rated in my opinion, and several others.
The Shark handheld actually picked up dirt and hairs in the car. I have never had a hand held/ battery vaccuum cleaner that would do that. Much better than the GTech Multi in my experience.
The add-on sweeper brush attachment was a great bonus for an extra 30 or so. This seems to be as good as the GTech Air Ram and cheaper BUT the dust reservoir is much smaller.
I would say this is a good second vac for stairs, cobwebs on curtain tops, etc and the car; plus the occasional quick whizz round the kitchen to pick up crumbs.
Based on this I will definitely consider a Shark Upright when we get fed up lugging the Dyson around.

I bought this vacuum cleaner based on a friends referral. This is probably my second favourite item in my home. Every single little detail has been thoroughly thought through for manufacturing. From the removable filters which can be washed without any part of the wand coming into contact with water to the design that flawlessly bends and gives you the option of getting to those difficult places to reach like right underneath a bed. The battery life gives you exactly what is advertised, so if you have a slightly bigger home, or just want to ensure your battery doesn’t die on you, you may want to consider getting a double battery vacuum rather than the single one. The only slight thing I may have considered in the design is a longer nozzle to get to your skirting boards in the event of bending issues due to limited mobility.

Would I recommend this to a friend: Yes
Would I buy the item again: Yes

Easy setup and little assembly required.
One battery was dead but the other was almost fully charged
The hoover in standard power mode is pretty darn powerful
Unfortunately though because of it’s sleek and lightweight design, which has come at a cost of a small bin.
In heavy duty mode it’s REALLY powerful
Comes with it’s own docking station which can charge the battery on board the machine and once that one is done it automatically switches to charging the spare ( neatly has it’s own pocket in the docking centre )

Easy setup & works better than my previous corded hoove

Just taken delivery of my new shark today after getting fed up of lugging our old corded vacuum up and down the stairs. I’m not much of a reviewer normally but having heavily relied on them to chose my model thought i would leave some feedback. Firstly it took 5 minutes to assemble which was great, takes a few hours to charge then was really impressed – it’s light and easy to manoeuvre as the head swivels, it seems to pick up bits close to the skirting and brilliantly folds flat to get under sofa etc. Seems quite powerful and good on either hard floors or carpets, the hand held is so easy to clip off if you need to use it to get in little spaces and handy for stairs etc. Some people have said chamber fills up quick which it does but so easy to empty with just to press of a button so really no issue. Have never had a ‘stick; vacuum before so cant compare to others but for its price this is brilliant and almost makes hoovering a pleasure – almost 🙂

I needed something lightweight and easy to use with a decent battery life. I swithered about this for a long time because the picture makes it look flimsy but after reading reviews from various website I decided to take a chance on it. When I received it I realised that it is actually a very stylish looking sturdy piece of equipment. I can lift it with 2 fingers and the weight (light as it is) is evenly balanced. It has a good sized suction head on it, 2 tools (1 motorised pet tool), 2 batteries and it is easy to fit all the components and to remove the hand held section of it to use with the tools. So far I have managed to do a decent “run round” with it of a 1 bedroom flat and never had to use the 2nd battery – the battery last longer than you think. I have had no hand or back pain after hoovering. The dust container is small but is easy to empty but being small it reduces the weight. It is a lovely blue sparkly colour (not that the colour matters) and sits on the charging plate very nicely withe spare battery sitting behind it – they charge on the plate very quickly. I have it sitting in the hall beside a chest of drawers and don’t even notice it now. I am very pleased with the vacuum and can recommend it, especially if you have mobility/physical restrictions.

This little Shark vacuum is perfect for a quick run round the kitchen l, dining room and lounge to pick up crumbs , dust, etc before guests arrive. It’s ultra lightweight so easy to use. Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI have physical disabilities, spine and shoulders, so find vacuuming very difficult. I chose the pet version with 2 batteries and the extra tool. Iwas dubious about buying a cordless vac but am so glad I did. Okay, the suction isn’t the greatest, the battery only lasts about 15 to 20 minutes and it does not go right up to the skirting boards… BUT. It is very lightweight, it does a very acceptable job at cleaning my floors and the attachments reach places I usually can’t reach without help. The big attachment really is the best for not getting hair stuck in the brushes. Instead of having to wait for people to come and help I can now vacuum the high traffic areas every day. Which makes me very happy. All the attachments are useful, as is the ability to use it as a handheld. Emptying the dust thingy is sooo easy and I reckon the filter will last for ages with regular cleaning. I probably still need my big vacuum for major cleans but someone else can help me with those. And I won’t be ashamed of my carpets when they arrive anymore.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis vacuum is so versatile;light, easy to operate, empty and charge. Definitely needs the two batteries as it runs out on one after doing 9 by 9 and my stairs – on regular suction, not even turbo. Fantastic docking station which charges both batteries. Downside – very tiny collection chamber which is full after 5/6 mins but at least emptying to carry on is very speedy. I haven’t used my Hetty since buying this. I got it as I had an arthritic wrist and was fed up with dragging my old hoover. This is light and effortless – actually enjoyable! Great for stairs, noons and crannies, cobwebs, carpet, lino and laminate. The tools are perfect. It shows you when charging is at certain levels and cuts off when fully charged. Dump whatever you’ve got and go for it. I wish I’d got one ages ago. Very easy to whizz round and be done.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have the Shark Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum Cleaner. That model is great, but oh so heavy! I felt lethargic, whenever I needed to vacuum upstairs rooms and the stair case itself. Then I thought why not try this model. After much research, I found this on Amazon, at a discount. This was a good deal, as it comes with 2 batteries. I am now very happy to vacuum my upstairs rooms and the staircase! The batteries last about 15 minutes each when fully charged, which is enough time to take the vacuum around, because it is so light. When the battery runs down, simply pop the backup battery onto the vacuum and you can continue on your way. Put the other one on charge. It was also very simple to put together, about 3 main parts. The accessories are useful add ons. I have this one stored upstairs mainly, so I can just plug in and go. I like to hoover my floors before moping. This is perfect for that, as opposed to using the heavier one. I have wooden floors, so wish I had seen this before the heavier one I have. But if you have carpets, you have carpets the heavier one would still be a good investment. I don’t regret the heavier one, because the suction is sooo good. It’s just so heavy and stressful, at times! This is handy and nippy, when you’re not in the mood!

Absolutely love this vacuum. The suction is good and the waste is quick & easy to empty.
Only 2 issues. Firstly, the button to release the waste is right next to the power button. This has resulted in a few unfortunately timed emptyings! Secondly, you can only charge the batteries by plugging them into the base unit. I would have liked an option to charge the batteries via a charging cable when I tidy away the base storage platform.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersGood little vac as we have mosty wooden floors at home only carpet is the stairs and a few scattered rugs. Wife whizzes around the house in about 15 to 20 minutes and just about managed that with one battery. We have two so one back up always on charge in the base unit. Against it is you can’t fold it away or hang it on the wall so she hides ours behind the curtain in our front room. If you are looking for a back up vacuum to do a quick zip around the house I recommend the Shark Wanda vac, if you have lots of thick pile carpets I would suggest a mains corded vacuum Shark have a range to choose from, but whatever don’t buy a Dyson they are overpriced and overrated cheap plastic rubbish.

Let me just start by saying that I received this product free of charge as a promotion.

The new Shark Wandvac is overall a well-built lightweight battery powered cordless vacuum.
After using this for a just under week it has performed as well as a corded vacuum cleaner overall in my opinion.

It has a powerful suction and brush head and is quite capable of tackling small to large particles with ease. With the power boost button option it can give you a bit more suctions where required. I live with 3 women and hair has always clogged up our other vacuum brush rollers, I can confirm that there isn’t a single strand of hair so far. Over time that may differ but in comparison it does what it states so far.

Due to the lightweight design and flex in motorized head this can be maneuvered very easily throughout the home. Some other similar brand vacuums are heavy and bulky.
It can also be laid flat for hard to reach areas where permitted. (e.g under sofas, tables, units etc).

When tackling lighter cleaning you can detach the brush head and the wand to have it as a pure hand held vacuum and attach the tools included tool – (Crevice tool and Pet Multi Tool).
This is very lightweight and with superior suction it makes short work of the more awkward areas where the brush cannot reach. For harder to reach areas you can re-attach the wand for further length with the attachments.

It has a handy stand/charging station which Is pretty convenient when you put it away, one downside is that there is no storage on the station for the pet tool, but there is a stand for the crevice tool. Would have been nice to have location for both.

I am a bit disappointed with the battery life, it is quoted to last up to 16 minutes. I can confirm the following:

Using as floor cleaner with motorized brush head running it will last approx. 12 minutes.
Using without motorized brush head and pure hand held mode you will reach the quote 16 minutes. You do have the option to buy and additional battery at a price of 69.99, this would be beneficial if you want additional run time and do a longer clean if you have a bigger property, at an additional cost bare in mind.

One other annoying point is that the rubbish dispenser on the back of the hand unit is small and can be a bit cumbersome to empty. You have to flick a switch on the front of the hand unit and the back flips dispenser flips down, you have to make sure it is over a bag or bin and at the right angle/position for it to dispense, else it goes everywhere. However after the first couple of attempts it is no big deal. Could of just had a slightly better design.

Overall if you are looking to buy this product then you should be under no illusions that this will replace your everyday full house clean vacuum cleaner. This has been designed as stated from website description : “Quickly remove crumbs, dust, debris and pet hair from floors with the Anti Hair Wrap floorhead, perfect for unexpected messes.”.
In this case this product performs exceptionally well for the smaller unexpected cleaning jobs around the home.

I would recommend this product if you are looking for something lightweight/ versatile/ easy to use for the smaller jobs around the home. If you are looking to replace your everyday larger vacuum then I think this product is not the one for you. For me a great impressive all round product and does what It has been designed to do exceptionally well.

    Great Product!!!!

I had mixed expectations for this vaccumm before using as due to the price and brand but happy to say I was more than pleased with its performance. It is lightweight but I don’t feel it loses any of the suction power because of this. It seperate into two parts easily just by pressing the two side buttons so you can use it as a normal vac or a handheld one with the included accessories. Being able to use it as a handheld Vacumm also makes emptying it easy and mess free.
Whilst using as a main vac it has two useful features which are the turbo mode (a small button on the handle, you can hold down for an extra boost in suction if you need) and the anti hair wrap which really works and saves me a lot of time unclogging the roller.
Battery life lasts about 40 minutes to an hour and you can choose charge either by plugging straight into the vaccum or using the charging dock base/accessory holder included if you have the room for it.

This feels really good quality and although lightweight for a vacuum cleaner not at all flimsy. The pieces click together and unclick really easily, it charges on its stand, and has an extra battery. The absolute best thing though is the way the dust cup flips open and ejects whatever is in there without you having to touch it. Perfect if you use it for spiders! The dual battery option that I purchased means you can extend your running time to just over 30 minutes ,( changing battery after about 16 minutes) which is just about enough to finish a two bedroom bungalow.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this mainly because it is lightweight, as I can no longer, after surgery lift anything too heavy and this is perfect. Very happy with it, I use one of the attachments to dust and find it helpful with great suction. The only downside is to do a thorough clean you would need to buy an extra battery, which is available as the run time is not very long. Would have preferred to have this included in the price for this one; still I would recommend, as hoovering is no longer the dreaded chore.

This was the perfect vacuum cleaner to get for my elderly mother, it’s compact lightweight and easy to use. It certainly does the job and its cleaning is very good although not as good as the comparable Dyson which costs more. Also the battery time is less than that of the Dyson and the capacity is significantly less, although so far that hasn’t been an issue. Where it stands head and shoulders above the Dyson is the fact that it comes with two batteries which can easily be swapped over. A great choice if you want lightweight and ease of use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo after buying and retuning a Dyson V10 and a Eufy S11 – both of which were too heavy to be comfortable – this was a case of third time lucky.

The Shark is much, much lighter and so easier to wield but still has very good suction and the attachments (esp. the WV362 with motorised pet tool and second battery). Similar in price to Eufy S11 infinity, it’s much cheaper than the V10 Dyson.

Bought the 362 mainly to get the second battery from the off, which should be useful, and because an extra battery looked very expensive if bought separately from Shark.

Can’t comment on durability and reliability yet, but it seems at least as solid as the Dyson and better than the Eufy.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBattery seems to last longer than advertised so not as short lived as I expected plus the bonus of this having two batteries one can be charged while you use other. It’s great both batteries can also be charged at same time. Picks up better than my old Dyson did. I get surprised how much it picks up each time even though the collection bit is pretty small.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersFeels sturdy and well put together. Perfect for everyday run around to keep on top of the dirt that kids and dogs make. Can do the whole downstairs on one battery and the other is charged ready for next used. Obviously this is not a proper hoover, so you do need to empty the dirt very often to maintain the suction but we don’t find that an issue. All in all I have no regrets about buying and love this machine!

The suction is nothing to write home about however of you don’t have a very dirty home and and need something for a quick whip around this is highly recommended. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver. Looks nice, comes with 2 x 16 minute batteries which is plenty of time for a 2 up 2 down. Works well on both laminate and medium pile rugs and carpet. Don’t give up your Henry though just in case

An amazing piece, like it! Recommended 100%!

It’s coming packed very well, even the original box it’s placed in another box so absolutely everything is coming very safe.
The device itself is not too difficult to assemble, however the users manual should be consulted otherwise it may take much more time to put it together.
First thing I liked about it – how’s the stand designed – you don’t have to hang it on the wall or to lean it against a wall or something – it can be left to literally stand and charge on its platform and that’s just awesome.
Another thing – the bottom part where the brush and everything is – quite impressive – big and working absolutely great. It can cover a good part of the cleaned surface and suck the dust and rubbish from the floor very well.
It’s easy enough to handle it, the rollers are working very well and it’s nearly like playing with it while cleaning. Because of the chunky brush part, it may be a bit difficult cu clean stairs as you have to lift it every time after each stair but it’s still ok, for plain surfaces it’s fantastic. Even though, if used without the brush, to clean the car or some narrow spaces, it is super light and comfortable to use.
Also, the container with the collected rubbish seems to be a bit small, compared to other cordless vacuum cleaner I used to have, but it doesn’t take a lot of effort to clean it oftener.
Otherwise, this one is absolutely great vacuum cleaner, even though there are some small issues that may not necessarily influence the overall experience, I love it, 5 stars it’s a fair rating for it – good price, fine quality and doing the job very good the third month already.

I am quite impressed with this hand held vacuum cleaner. Usually you don’t get a powerful vacuum experience out of a cordless unit but this is very powerful. I am impressed! Picks up very easily and is easy to handle, you can reach spots without problem. The main brush is big and has a very interesting mechanism that rotates when you turn the unit on, so it picks even better. The narrow head is very good and gets in the smallest places. The small brush does not impress me. It picks very little and you have to go over and over again over the same spot.

The disappointing part is the battery which doesn’t last too long. We could only clean two rooms before it ran out.

Being hand held means it has a small container as well that needs emptying after every cleaning which is easy to do. We have kids and use this mostly after every meal to clean around their table, and we are satisfied with that as it doesn’t require to much time. You just take it from its charging station and put it back once you finished, which is less time consuming that the corded one.

Overall very impressed with it, it doesn’t take to much space, charges fast and cleans well. The reason for one star removed is the short battery life and the small brush not doing a great job.

Great value for a cordless hoover as well as being a shark one of that. This is the first time using a shark hoover and I was kinda expecting more from it suction wise, I thought it would be intensely strong but it isn’t, it picks up everything first time off the floor and does well and has good suction but it still feels like it’s lacking even with the boost on, other than that it’s easy to use and set up is simple and converting it to handheld is super easy and I like that this hoover comes with its own stand so you don’t have to do any drilling into the wall and the stand charges it altogether so you just pick it up when you want to use it and its ready to go. So overall really good hoover specially for the price.

    Great hoover.

This has a great charging plate and stands very neatly in the corner while on charge. There is an option to purchase a second battery to have ready to swap over if you need to use the Shark for more than 10 mins.
It is very easy to convert to a handheld to use in the car or to nip round the ceiling corners to catch all those spider webs.
It doesn’t clean right up to the edges and doesn’t sound as powerful as my main vacuum, however it’s not in that league for suction or price so this is more of a quick flick round to pick up the odd bits of fluff and not a complete house clean.
Very easy to empty though the collection bin isn’t very large.
It is very lightweight compared to my main vacuum and being cordless it is useful for doing the stairs.
It’s a little on the pricey side but all said and done it does what it says it does and it is very useful.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have never heard this brand before and it was a lovely surprise.

This vacuum cleaner is able to suck up solid residues that are a little larger, without getting clogged immediately, it has separately rechargeable battery all in affordable price.
It does very well with large residues and are less suitable for more precise cleaning.
It is therefore an excellent vacuum cleaner for the most “rough” cleaning of rooms in which perhaps you are not interested in having perfect cleaning, but rather remove the bulk.

The vacuum cleaner is light and very handy. The battery can be charged separately from the vacuum cleaner. A common feature of all cordless vacuum cleaners is that they cannot stand up on their own. Infact when folded it doesn’t stands up on its own.
The reason is obvious: they are unbalanced, they are light and thin vacuum cleaners, which have all the weight at the level of the battery and the motor body and do not have a base so wide that they can support this weight.
So they either lay on the ground, or lean against the wall (and often slide and fall).
Easy to clean. It has an autonomy of about 16 minutes. I clean a floor of the house for a couple of consecutive days.
Fairly low price for a good quality vacuum cleaner.

This is grab and go cordless vacuum is extremely light weight, powerful and flexible in cleaning.

Really good on the the hard floor and the carpet both and clears all the mess, check the video. Its also very simple to use on a daily basis.
That lightweight body means this cleaner is easy to push around; I found it quick on the floor and wall head attached. This model is an Anti-Hair Wrap unit, so its brushes won’t become clogged with hair during cleaning.

    Pros –
    great suction power
performs and clean like a one swipe
    Lightweight under 3 kgs

    Cons –
    Short battery life

You can fully remove the bin assembly to get to the HEPA filter at the back, and to clean out the internal bin. Shark recommends that you clean the filter once a month.

Amazing suction! What more do you want. Well this offers quite a lot more as well.

Love the way you can easily turn it into a hand held and then go back to a more regular machine if you want to do the stairs.

It’s so convenient and always is ready to go. Easy to use it upright for cob webs (having clapped the spiders away of course).

I’m really impressed with the suction. We have a cat who leaves trails of dirt behind him. This picks up what he leaves on the sofa and his hair.

It comes with one battery but you can buy an extra one. I don’t think I need it as I am using this as a secondary device.

The battery life is its downside. It only lasts about fifteen minutes if it is not plugged in.

This is an easy to use space saving vacuum system. It makes cleaning the stair carpet so easy. It’s also perfect for the car. I do think it’s a little overpriced and the battery doesn’t last long until it needs recharging.

A very handy cordless vac which is extremely easy to construct, store and empty. As with other models it does take a good couple of hours to charge and the resultant power for usage is not that great ( just over 15 mins). Very lightweight and easy to manoeuvre; especially good on stairs and reaching high places. I really do like the anti- hair wrap which is so lacking in others models. Suction power seems good.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI didn’t know what to expect from this. For the price I wanted it to be really good but for the size i wasn’t expecting miracles.
I have to say I am pretty satisfied.
The vacuum itself comes in three main parts – the vacuum cleaner (which is also the handle), the extension part and the floorhead attachment. You also get a crevice tool, a multi surface tool and the docking/charging station.
This all fits on to the docking station which charges the vacuum when you’re not using it. The dock has an added battery charger compartment for a spare battery (not included). This is also where you place the vacuum for charging. There is also an option of charging without the dock – straight into the handle.
This makes it great as a grab and go. If you want to use it as a hand held, just pinch the two buttons on the side and the rest just stays on the dock. You can also use all of the attachments in this mode.
This vacuum cleaner is simple to use. It has the on/off button which is easy to switch on with your thumb and the battery display on the front. The boost button is on the underside of the handle which makes it easy to squeeze whilst cleaning. The dust compartment empties with a push of a button. I personally think this should be slightly further away from the power button, but not a huge minus.
The floorhead has Anti Hair Wrap Technology which seemed to work (my picture of the under side is after I vacuumed).
I tested this on my living room carpet (quite a large room) and it done a great job. I have two cats, one with long hair, and it picked everything up. I did use the boost for half of the room and it only used about half the battery.
I also tried it on the stairs using the multi surface tool with and without the brush. It cleaned them fine.
This is advertised as a quick clean vacuum. Granted it’s not going to clear up a big mess, but I would say it’s powerful enough to do a large room and then some. I think it would be really good for a small flat where you might be strapped for space.
My only down side of this is that a spare battery costs nearly 100. That’s currently half the price of this.
All in all I am happy with this and would recommend.

    Very powerful for a handheld.

This is a very capable vacuum cleaner that does regular vacuuming as well as transforming into a handheld. It’s light too, which makes it perfect to lift up and vacuum those hard to reach ceiling areas that miraculously attract dust and cobwebs. The company behind this vacuum cleaner has thought of most things like having a twin battery that can maximise vacuum times as well as having a stand that can house the various cleaning tools. So far I haven’t had problems vacuuming the house or the car and so far so good.
I’ve noticed from various reviews that the batteries on these Shark vacuum cleaners are hit and miss and some even lose charge the instant it’s been used. This hasn’t happened to me and I feel this may be down to luck. And since I can only voice my personal experience, I feel that this vacuum cleaner hasn’t let me down yet.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’ve only ever used a cordless Dyson, so I was a bit dubious about this Shark Vacuum if it would be as good suction-wise etc… and I’ve got to say it hasn’t disappointed me! Everything comes well packaged and it’s super simple to click bits and bobs together and see how it works. Straight away I love the charging station that comes with the Shark, the vacuum sits nicely and neatly out the way for storing and while charging, whereas my Dyson had to be wall mounted or just left against the wall, so this is better. (Just a little niggle that there was only 1 space on the charging base for the crevice tool to be stored and not the multi, bit of a shame.) I also really like that the Shark vacuum shows you how much charge is left while in use/charging, so you shouldn’t suddenly run out of power! I have a mixture of wooden flooring, rugs and carpet in my home and this has worked great on all, the suction is definitely there. I think the maneuverability of the Shark is a little more clunky to use than my Dyson was with the ball, that seemed a bit smoother to use compared with this, but this is still good to reach all the places I needed it to. I also much prefer the stop/start button on the Shark vacuum, whereas my Dyson you would have to hold the button down continually for it to work. The tool attachments you get with the vacuum are great, so multi functional for cleaning the stairs/ceiling/car etc, and it’s really simply to swap bits over depending what you need to use. I am very impressed with the anti-hair wrap, this was a big annoyance for me with my Dyson, I would forever be yanking hair from the head as it wrapped around, but this isn’t an issue for the Shark! The amount of hair the Shark managed to get from my carpet is embarrassing! (See my pic – eww!) It kept the hair all neat in a little ball with the dust etc so it was a breeze when emptying the dust cup. Overall, I really think it’s a great vacuum, you will use it so much around the house for different jobs, it is definitely worth the money. I love it and would really recommend!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersExtremely impressive cordless lightweight vacuum.

This shark handheld vacuum is perfect for doing a quick daily clean around the house and getting into the them hard to get places.

It is lightweight so anyone can use it with ease and even with the anti hair wrap floor head it glides perfectly on the floor.

It has great suction power and there is even a boost mode for extra suction.

You can use the vacuum three ways:
    1) as a full length floor vacuum with the anti hair wrap head
    2) as a handheld with extension to get into the corners of the ceiling.
    3) as a handheld for counter tops, in the car and for the stairs.

The anti hair wrap head works great and makes cleaning up hair easy and is especially great if you have got any pets.

The battery lasts about 15 mins and abit shorter if you continuously use the boost mode but it is enough time to give your floor a quick freshen up.

It has a LED screen which shows how much battery you have left, which is very handy.

Also the charging base has a place where you can charge an extra battery, which I thinks is great. So if you run out of battery you can quickly change the battery and carry on. I will be investing in an extra battery.

The vacuum is nice and compact and can easily be stored away as it has a charging base which the hoover stands and all of the accessories.

The dirt and dust collects in the handle so it isnt very big, but it is so easy to empty I don’t mind emptying it a couple of times while using it.

Overall I am really impressed with this vacuum as it does exactly what it says on the box.

If you are after a quiet, lightweight cordless vacuum look no further.

    Great suction and lightweigh

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis is a review of the new Shark Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner model number WV361UK and not the other versions of Shark vacuums on this Amazon page. Most significantly this vacuum is not just a handheld vacuum but also has an extension tube and floor head.

The vacuum came exceptionally well wrapped in an outer standard Amazon box, and inner Shark cardboard box for transport, and then in a retail box. Within the retail box each part of the vacuum was individually wrapped in paper or card. Whilst all this results in a vast amount of packing to dispose of the product arrives in perfect condition!

In the pack you get instructions, a floor base, a charging post, a power adapter, the handheld vacuum itself, an extension wand, the floor brush, a single battery, a crevice tool and a multi surface tool. You do not get a spare battery or a powered multi surface tool which will be available with other versions of this product.

There’s a bit of self-assembly required in terms of fitting the three elements of the stand together – the base, the charging post and the power adapter – but this only takes a few seconds. The vacuum itself needs to be assembled but this too is straightforward. The battery for the vacuum I received was only partially charged so I fully charged it before use which took a couple of hours. The default charging option is to place the vacuum on the freestanding power stand with the extension wand and floor brush attached.

The product exudes quality compared to cheaper alternatives. The finish is outstanding and it’s clear that a great deal of consideration has gone into the design. The vacuum is light, even with the chunky floor brush and extension wand attached. It’s far lighter without these elements and one of the smaller tools – the multi surface tool or crevice tool attached.

In use the vacuum is straightforward to use. There’s a single power button in the front of the device which starts the vacuum. A boost button is on the rear of the vacuum which activates when it’s held down and returns to normal power when it’s not depressed. Unusually for battery-powered vacuums I found the standard power more than adequate. The vacuum is not particularly noisy but nor is it particularly quiet. Three LEDs on the front of the vacuum show the current amount of battery power remaining. There’s also a slide button on the front of the vacuum which releases the spring-loaded waste compartment. Debris should fall from the waste compartment without the need to touch it directly.

The vacuum works in essentially three modes. First as a standard vacuum using the extension wand and powered floor brush. Second as a handheld vacuum and, third, as an extended handheld vacuum with the extension wand and exit either the crevice tool or multi tool attached. Cleverly the vacuum is heaviest when the floor brush is attached but since the vacuum rests on the floor the weight doesn’t matter much. It is very light in either of the two other operational modes.

Overall this all works very well. There are some negatives however. The waste compartment is tiny and will need emptying after every, or every couple of times, the vacuum is used. Plus it’s easy to empty the waste canister by mistake as it’s near to the on/off switch and when the canister is opened the content falls straight on to the floor. Shark have decided to use gravity to empty the bin and avoid the need to touch its content but as a result the bin emptied downwards! When using the standard cleaning power level the battery will only last for 16 minutes, and only 8 in high power mode – if you manage to keep your finger on the boost button for 8 minutes! In addition the vacuum in floor-cleaning mode will not stand up on its own – it has to be leant against something. Most significantly I found the charging system poor. The vacuum can only be placed on the power stand if it has the extension wand and the floor brush attached. Otherwise it will not engage with the power connection points in the power stand. This means that if you mostly use the vacuum as a handheld you’ll need to reconfigure it each time you use it and each time you recharge it. As a alternative you can forget about the charging stand completely and use the power adapter on its own to plug into the handheld directly.

Overall I’m quite impressed with this vacuum. Its build quality and finesse is far in excess of cheap generic models and it is well designed. My only real complaint is the charging system which seems poorly thought through. The small waste compartment and short battery life is really a product of making the unit as light as possible which seems to be a fair compromise. All this means that this is really an additional vacuum for any house, not a primary vacuum.

So, if you are looking for a quality, very light, second vacuum, this product works well. Four stars.
