Compared to the Dyson – a bit on the heavy side. Mainly because of the battery. Also bigger in size. The dust container is bigger too. Other than that it is well designed and works well.

Really impressed . We live in a small house over three floors with limited storage and lots of stairs, so it is imperative that the vacuum is light and portable and stores easily . The shark performs well in every department. Brilliant produc

Just what we needed and folds into a compact unit when not being used.. Cleans well and the variety of attachments is good. Battery needs regular charging but that’s no drama.

Well made and it perfoms very well. Battery life seems to be good. The only negative is, it’s quite heavy, but I guess this is a result of it being well made.

Got this at a very good price as they have shiny new versions out, but this is still great, sucks up a storm, not too heavy, easy to empty and store, only downside is the battery life isn’t brilliant, but handles our little bungalow with ease, so very happy

Solid enough hooover bought on Prime day. Had to return the first hoover as it developed a fault E2. Amazon replaced it simply without any issue. Had to pay for the postage which was refunded. Decent run time and good on wood flooring. Okish on carpet. Not terrible and can’t compete with a plug in hoover. However more than good enough and having no cord is helpful.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI never thought that purchasing an item used to keep my house clean and tidy would bring me so much joy. I have never been able to replace the original Dyson I once had (that was the best hoover I had ever used until this one) and found myself having to buy so many different hoovers over the last 10 years. I’ve tried them all! Hetty, Henry, VAX, Hoover, those 30 ones you can get from supermarkets – I’ve tried ’em all! I needed a new hoover as the Vax I had stopped working. I’ve seen adverts for Shark on TV, and even watched someone on YouTube purchase one so I decided to go for it. THE BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE! This hoover is incredible. Using the highest setting, the battery lasts maybe 35-40 minutes, but on the standard setting it does last up to 60 minutes. It came with a Shark branded tote bag, 3 different attachments and a manual. Easy to set up, came with about 75% charge so was ready for use straight from the box. It is simply amazing. Stairs? Easy. That one corner in your room that you’ve never been able to get to cause every other hoover has weighed a ton? No longer filled with cobwebs. No more switching plugs 4 times so you can do the whole house! Would highly recommend.

Bought this as our G-Tech was on last legs. Although the weight at the hand end is heavy and makes turning the hoover a bit of an effort once used to it this is a great hoover. It was in action within 10 minutes of opening the box and assembly. I find it great, my wife has a bit of difficulty manoeuvring it. The suction is great and on stairs using the hoover head you are lifting a slight weight it is good. Will try the brush head next time on stairs. We bought it for just over 200 and would highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a great hoover. It picks up brilliantly. So easy to manoeuvre. It empties very easily too. The battery will drain relatively quickly on boost and does take a while to charge so buying a second battery is a major plus.

The only thing to be wary of is long hair still wraps around the brush. The fins make it easy to remove but unless it’s kept on top of, it could get clogged quite easily.

My 3 month old vacuum broke, so I returned it and bought this one instead. It’s fantastic, I couldn’t believe how much dust and fluff came from my carpet, it’s a new carpet approx, 2 months old and had been vacuumed twice a week, when I used the Shark duo clean the dust bucket looked as if I had just vacuumed the carpet for the first time. It’s nice and light and stores in a tiny place. The hand held part works great as well. I totally recommend this hoover.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGreat machine, works really well … But … We have a large, long-haired dog and we have to remove hair from the brush bar on every use, the good news is the fins on the brush bar stop the hair from wrapping tightly and make it easier to remove.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI purchased the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner [IZ300UK] and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This sleek and powerful vacuum cleaner has made my cleaning routine a breeze. Here’s why I give it a solid 5-star rating:

First and foremost, the anti-hair wrap feature is a game-changer. As a pet owner, I often struggled with tangled hair clogging up my previous vacuum. However, with the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum’s innovative technology, hair wrap is minimized, making maintenance and cleaning hassle-free.

The PowerFins technology is another highlight of this vacuum cleaner. It effortlessly lifts and removes dirt and debris from both carpets and hard floors, leaving them immaculately clean. The suction power is impressive, and I no longer need to go over the same spot repeatedly.

The cordless design is incredibly convenient. With a single battery, I can clean my entire home without worrying about plugging and unplugging the vacuum. It provides excellent maneuverability, allowing me to reach even the trickiest corners and under furniture effortlessly.

The black and copper color scheme adds a touch of elegance to the vacuum’s appearance. It looks stylish and modern, blending seamlessly with my home decor. Additionally, the build quality feels solid and durable, giving me confidence that this vacuum will last for years.

While the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner [IZ300UK] is exceptional in many ways, there are a few minor downsides worth mentioning. Firstly, the dustbin capacity could be slightly larger, as it requires more frequent emptying when dealing with larger messes. Secondly, the battery life, although decent, could be improved to provide an even longer cleaning time.

Despite these minor drawbacks, the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner [IZ300UK] delivers outstanding performance and convenience, making it a top-notch cleaning companion. It has significantly reduced my cleaning time and effort while consistently producing excellent results.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner [IZ300UK] to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient cleaning solution. Its anti-hair wrap feature, PowerFins technology, cordless design, and stylish appearance make it a standout product. Despite the slight limitations in dustbin capacity and battery life, its overall performance and user-friendly features make it a worthwhile investment for maintaining a clean and pristine home.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a great performing vacuum cleaner – superior to my old Dyson.
I would highly recommend purchasing a second battery as one battery can drain quite a lot if you have it on any other setting than the lowest and charging can take quite a while.
This is a great lightweight cordless vacuum but I feel the weight if the battery let’s it down a bit. A slimmer lightweight battery would be a better option in my opinion.
The main tubing, I feel, is fairly flimsy and was not expected – I’m putting this down to cheap manufacturing and then placing the ‘bend’ in the tubing which automatically creates a weak point.
There is no option to be able to hang up in storage and it will fall over if needing
left for a moment to move something – being disabled, this is the most difficult part as laying it on the floor then picking it up again is not something I can manage.

    Otherwise….

On the plus side it is super disabled friendly (dare I say even child friendly with simple button to push and manoeuvre?) with how lightweight is, simple buttons for using and emptying. The suction is fantastic even on the lowest setting. Simple to change to a different tool for different jobs. It eats everything put in its way, no matter the size – it will happily eat a pile of dirt/crumbs etc as well as the odd socks found lurking under the children’s beds….. (even had a good go at one of the dog’s toys found lurking somewhere)
You can take the battery off to charge or leave it in place and charge when attached. Charge cable is a decent length and adapter is marked with the brand name so easy to decipher when amongst other cables/chargers.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a good cleaner. It has a very good suction and is easy to manoeuvre. Cleaning the dust container and filter is very easy. The only negative for me is that the battery duration is frankly disappointing. It gives me 20 – 25 minutes on ECO mode – way below the 60 minute run time advertised (“In ECO Power Mode, with non-motorised tool”). Unfortunately spare batteries are very expensive.

If you compare this to the dyson, then it wins hands down. The suction isn’t quite as good, but not far off at all, but at more than half the price, then this is the one to go for whilst it’s in the sale.

Due to it having a great suction, the vacuum cannot be lightweight as the motor will be heavier. The weight doesn’t bother me but someone older or not as agile may find it heavy. I love the idea I can clean the stairs with just a quick click and change the tool.

I love the fact that the body folds to store or go underneath furniture because it goes all the way under beds and sofa. The fins are a massive improvement on the brush bars as the hairs stick onto the silicone. I have had fusion for over twenty years but this beats them hands down for removing embedded hairs. My only gripe is that I would have liked a longer tool for getting into those hard to reach places.

Suffering with arthritis I’ve been struggling to clean the place.. This is absolutely perfect for me… It’s light to handle, just glides across the floor and easy to empty after each use cos the suction power is so great it picks up a lot of dust…. Can’t comment on the stairs as i don’t have any…….

Good battery life yet the 2nd battery is a must to do a thorough clean of a medium – large house. LED indicators are simple and controld work well. Dust bin is much easier to empty and can be removed from the device entirely for cleaning. Anti-hair wrap is by far the best improvement over previous models but somehow the overall build quality feels slightly cheap and not as sturdy. The central folding mechanism is fit for purpose but joins between each part of the device feel as is there is constant movement when in use. Would highly recommended however dubious to see how long it lasts with daily use.

Overall very good. Cleans carpets very well, which is my main use for it – the brush head works well in this regard.
Overall suction (when using the attachments for example) could be a bit stronger, but it is adequate for my purposes.
Battery life is a bit shorter than I would have liked (and expected). I can do all of my house on a charge (only just), but have to recharge if I want to do the car too. And charging takes a long time.
    Overall happy with this though.

Bought this as original shark (which is great) is rather heavier. So added this one – hence we have the heavier one upstairs for upstairs use (have to vaccuum less often). This one for downstairs use and for staircase which is much more regular. Being in our late sixties, trying to make life easier for ourselves.

The cordless stick does a great job just as our original mains powered one does.

I hate vacuuming but this makes the task a short pleasure. The carpet and hard floor settings are brilliant. The only reason I gave four stars for stairs is because stairs are an absolute pain to vacuum with anything. Having said that the detachable unit does the job as well as anything.

Ok so I’ve had hoovers, dyson and probably about every other make in my time and this is easily one of the best! The hair wrap technology is brilliant. Best thing is that when you empty the bin, ALL of the dust comes out easily- doesn’t require a brush etc like the dyson. Lightweight and one charge will do a 2 bed flat easily. Folds down so it doesn’t take up much space. Great price from seller.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPerfect for all arounder

Our switch from Gtech Air Ram to Shark

We have switched from one of the Gtech Air rams and although it was good and the battery was good enough to do the whole house.
We had to buy multiple new sets of wheels as they always broke and more and more parts started needing to be replaced.

    Battery

(We got the 60 minute battery version)
We have a 3 bedroom 2 storey house and can do the whole house with one simple charge, it still even would have enough over for any small spillages too. However do expect that time to be shortened if you need to use the boost option but that just obvious. I would recommend running the battery completely dead at least twice as it does seem that the battery held the charge that bit better after we had used it and charged a couple of times.

    Storage…

It’s does store away really nicely and is compact enough that it will fit away in most spaces without any worries.

    Emptying

Cleaning out of the machine couldn’t be simpler either and oh my god! You will be urprised just how good this little vacuum is. We’re not a dirty house but even still we was very shocked by what we found.

    Non floor cleaning…

It’s great for doing the stairs as it breaks down for the purpose really nicely and there is no weight to it either making the task that much easier. But also it’s great to get to those higher out of reach corners etc that you often struggle or over stretch to reach. We have even done our curtains and beds with very little effort.

    Car

Then there is the car packed down it does clean the car and the crevice tool is ideal. We did consider buying the car kit however we found this does the job so well that we held of buying the extras for now.

    Flexability & Movement

The capability of being able to adjust the handle to go right under tables and sofa’s without having to bend yourself saves your back and just makes life that bit easier for sure it’s a great feature. (As long as you have the gap underneath to do it.)
It also glides the floors/carpets with ease and there is no real efforts in turning or moving around the room, I’m disabled and found this was so much easier to use then any other vacuum I’ve tried I actually can help out around the house without physically having to pay for it.

    One simple Fault

Only one slight fault yet worth mentioning before you use your new vacuum… On our try of the vacuum when the handle is up and it’s fully erected to use it doesn’t support itself. So if you have to let go of it to pick something up or move something out of the way, it toppled over and fell to the floor.
So if your going to have to move something ensure that you lean it against something to save this from happening.

  47. LarueHankinson says:

My wife likes it – and she’s fussy! Apparently even the “anti hair wrap” feature seems to work as advertised. We no longer lug a mains powered vacuum around the house tripping over the lead every few minutes.

I love this! Good quality product all round. Easy to use, I don’t find it heavy at all, good clean in my house which is a 2 bed bungalow, does it on one charge. I like that emptying the dust collector is a smooth and easy process. In fact all the parts are easy to fix and use. Also, no smell in the air after use, which means of course, no emission! It’s just great.

I bought this item to replace a Dyson stick vacuum. It is superior in its cleaning and ease of use. It is heavier and may make my arm ache doing curtains but is still worth it. Using the handheld and doing the stairs also worked well. It is tidy when folded and sits well for storage. Run time is brilliant and having to ability to choose the floor type, carpet or hard floor. I love it. I think it is value for money.

So this a strange one – I used to be a Vax over Dyson fan until recently more and more of my Vax products started to break down.
Up till a few years ago, Vax were great at sending replacements but not so much now.

So we converted to Shark and this was a fairly risky move given the price vs the Vax.
In short, its great – plenty of battery time and replaceable battery, folds really neatly etc and well…sucks the junk from the floor.

Suction on carpet is excellent and this shows when running over the same part using our mains powered shark.
BUT on tile not so much and this is why we got this – for the kitchen.

Yesterday we had rice krispies on the floor when the little one used them as target practice and it really struggled.
I was changing power modes from low to high and also hard floor to carpet but it just moved the bits around.

Crack open the old vax and this seemed to do better. I can only think the dual roller is in some ways blocking bits like this being sucked in which yet carpet the same thing goes in fine.

Not a show stopper but does take a bit of patience and more of that battery power for what seems to be less work for the Vax.

Converting it to a handheld is excellent and while a bit heavy, does a good job on stairs and car.
The display is also brilliant as are the lights which are very useful!

My biggest annoyance is the buttons that aid making life easier … or not.
When upright, the front button disconnects the top to convert to handheld and the rear black button is to fold it. But when folded, the front button (now black) is the one that lets you get it back upright.

However behind when folded is the orange one that drops the whole thing to the floor to convert it to handheld.

Just need to remember this – a few times it has crashed to the floor (tiles) when pressing the button because we went for the one behind and not front.

Slightly heavier than my previous one but has good suction. Also cleaning the cylinder which collects dirt is not as great to get to the corners to clean. Love love love this hoover, it has great suction, can be folded to be stored neatly which is fab if you’re like me and like in a flat, it’s so easy to use and cokes with lots of attachments and a bag to store them in, just two things, the first is despite it being anti hair wrap, you do get hair in the hoover brush that needs to be pulled out, but that’s not too much of a problem and tbh is a lot easier to do on this hoover than a lot of others I’ve used, the second point is that I can’t comment on how it is to use on stairs as I live in a flat, but my mum has one similar and uses it to hoover round the whole house everyday and is thrilled with it.

This is a great cordless vacuum cleaner. Suction power is great. The vacuum head is well designed and sucks dirt around corners and under my standing sofa. It’s very flexible and can reach under tight furnitures.

The charge isn’t great but you can certainly clean an entire house in one go. But have to charge after every use. It’s looks nice as well.

It fails in the weight area. The filter area where the suction power is located is very heavy. I would say this isn’t a great vacuum cleaner for the elderly. It’s easy to move around on Laminate floor. But on carpet you can really feel the heavy topside of this vacuum cleaner.

Good buy but struggled with choices of this vacuum.
Functions well as cordless. Good suction. Gets in all nooks and crannies.
    Battery length accurate.
Pleased with neat storage as top half folds over.
Works well on hard floors and carpets
    Happy so far.

Really great machine. Brilliant suction and versatility. Large bin easy to empty. Only criticism is the head is rather heavy. So if you’re looking for a really lightweight vacuum this might not be the one for you. Check weight online and see. However we are really pleased with it. The two batteries increased the use time to approximately 2 hours. We let our French watermill to guests and this is perfect for the cleans.

We have noted it is a lot heavy then the Hoover stick vacuum that we replaced with this..

This is a good vac with flexible options for cleaning your home and your car. I’m glad I want for the twin battery option as the vac quickly eats through batteries. It also really needs a full clean and wash-out of the dust collector every time it is used including the two filters so is quite high maintenance. Fine dust does collect in the collector and can only be removed by washing with water. With the dust collector, motor and battery being at the top of the vac it is quite heavy and you will feel it after using it for a house clean.

I love my vacuums – I have the corded Shark which would eat my rugs if I let it and this super fold away rechargeable quickie that comes out almost every day. Well made really good little machine, how long it lasts is always the major problem with cordless I find. I have had other makes before, so if it lasts three to four years I’ll be happy’ish. x

Good for carpet and hard floor. Reasonably compact and good battery life – so far.

Excellent pick up from hard floors and carpet. Easy to charge and empty. Cordless functionality means quick and easy cleanups. Lightweight easy storage makes this easy to get out and use without hassle. I can easily clean our whole 2 bed flat, empty the dust chamber and have the vacuum back on charge in 15 minutes.

We have waiting a few days to write this review as before purchasing as lot of reviews we saw mentioned that the batter life wasn’t the best.

Before I say anything, I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with only our living room and bedroom being carpeted, the rest of the place has laminate. We also have no kids but 2 cats.

For us, this vacuum is amazing. It’s light weight and powerful and a full charge can last us 2-3 days. That being said I think if you have a busy household I would defiantly recommend you go for the corded model.

Either way, amazing vacuum, powerful suction and I like the fact it can go to a handheld. It came boxes really well and we even have a tote bag that we are using to keep the charger and all extension pieces i

This is a great vacuum so far, good suction, easy to use, extremely light and a multitude of accessories to carry out all relevant jobs. Each battery lasts for circa on hour, although the readout on the screen to show low charge does not appear to be working properly.
    Very impressed so far.

The Shark is a bit top-heavy with the battery at the top of the handle but, apart from that, it’s a great vacuum cleaner and so much better than any I’ve had previously. Also, the battery lasts long enough to clean right through our carpeted bungalow – a definite plus – and easy to empty too.

It’s almost a week I am using it at home, this is just the best one, I am very happy with it, for the price I think it is the best one online, it works on any surface, my flat is now cleaner than ever. the 2 lights are a cool idea. 5 years warranty if you register on their website. 5 stars

So I am border line OCD and thought my Henry hoover did a good job….. oh how wrong was I! This is the best thing ever got up dust you wouldn’t even know was there!! Excellent hoover and well worth the original price let alone the sale price I got it at. The attachment that come with it are also amazing and the pet tool is ace! Cannot fault this hoover so far!!

Lives up to all expectations. Amazing suction for such a lightweight cleaner. Dog hairs gone in a flash and no blocked brush to clean out. Easily emptied and 40 mins run time is ample to clean up downstairs. Recharges quickly to do upstairs.

I have just used my new Shark straight out of the box, which already came about 50% charged. For me personally, top marks when it comes to using my new Shark on engineered oak flooring — which I have on the whole of my ground floor — and medium pile carpet up my stairs and on the whole of my first-floor hallway and bedrooms. Overall? Great price at 179.00, easy to operate with good attachments, and my new Shark has the suction power needed to hoover up every floor surface of our house extremely well! Me, my partner, and my Cockapoo – with low shedding hair – are extremely happy with our new Shark. We will not be returning to Dyson!

Never thought I’d start enjoying hoovering… but this hoover is so quick and easy to use, it definitely feels like less of a task! Really love the design, the small lights on the front are a great feature and it’s ability to reach low areas that you couldn’t quite get with other hoovers. My only criticism is it’s quite difficult to store as it doesn’t stand up or attach to the wall, and is quite an odd shape. However the positives outweigh the negatives and I highly recommend!

Does what it says on the box, but blimey it’s heavy, if you have any shoulder problems you,ll feel it with this hoove

I’ve done nothing but praise this hoover to friends and family. Great for storage, slim lightweight and good suction. We don’t have pets, stairs or carpets so can’t comment on use for that. Excepting wooden floors. Carpet setting cleans our very thick hard wearing door mats brilliantly. Easy to dismantle and empty.

I took advantage of a black Friday reduction.
I had been meaning to replace my Dyson which is giving problems.
My daughter used this vacuum and was full of praise so I purchased one.
Very quiet and efficient I find with the arm allowing me to go under all the furniture I can do my vacuuming in a much reduced time.

This is a really good cordless hoover. I have been researching for a while and I am so pleased with my purchase. It’s easy to use, folds away nicely. It is a little heavy so if your after a lightweight hoover this probably isn’t for you. I love the carpet and wooden floors setting and there is a boost as well. Quick to empty and attachments are great too. Overall I would recommend.

It’s an amazing hoover. The suction power is probably lesser than a regular hoover but the fact that I can carry it everywhere and the ease of use makes up for that. It’s slightly heavy but it can be downsized to be used on the stairs. Overall I’m hapoy with the purchase.

Replaced a cordless Dyson with this and although it is noticeably heavier than the Dyson and doesn’t come with a wall mount (which I didn’t use anyway!), it performs equally (if not better) than its rival brand. It does bend in half and fold away neatly which is nice – it has headlights which is an odd addition (for those stealth night-time vacuums? It is quiet so possibly!).

I really like this vacuum as it has good suction and a good range of attachments. It is not lightweight but that is understandable as it has a large battery that keeps it going for a long time. Very easy to assemble, charge and empty. Fantastic value for money when compared to other well known vacuums. I would recommend this Shark 100%.

This vacuum definitely has more dirt lifting power and suction than my old Dyson. Lift off power section is great to use on stairs and higher objects with different attachments and its definitely lightweight and so mush easier to carry around, store and charge. Anti hair wrap seems to work too as my hair has always been a problem with vacuums. Fantastic little buy, well recommended
