although stored and preset it takes about 10 minutes to get a radio2 signal.

Bought this for my folks as a Xmas present to replace the Frankenstein’s Monster my dad had cobbled together. He was especially pleased that there’s an Aux input (the whole reason I bought this one!) so he can plug his old 6-CD Changer into it.
The sound quality is good and clear, doesn’t distort even when you ramp up the volume and despite being “only” 40W it’s plenty enough for an ordinary house!
He’s excited that it’s bluetooth compatible and has a USB slot. And it’s taking up a hell of a lot less space!

For such a compact system the quality of sound is very good – I am very pleased with the purchase.
A good system for this price can’t fault it . Not great but good and so easy to use was unbelievable. DAB works well and again really easy to use and set up. Has everything you need in radio and CD plus you can add separates providing you have the compatible connections. Overall pleased with my purchase
Top volume is lower than desired
As a starter unit a delight for those who desire limited volume intrusion.
Sound quality great, it’s a keeper, but improved RMS required personally
I believe when things go wrong, and they do occasionally it’s not what’s gone wrong that’s really important but how a companies customer service deals with the issue, this company were spot on when the first delivery went astray and I had a replacement with three days.
As for the product, it’s great and I’m glad I stuck with it when the first delivery didn’t materialise.

Wird nur fr einen Nebenraum benutzt.
Bin ber die Funktionsweise aller technischen Komponenten angenehm berrascht.
Hatte zuvor schon ber viele Jahre eine Microanlage von diesem Hersteller, die leider im CD/Kassetten-Bereich defekt wurde.
Innovativ hat sich nun auch die Technik weiter entwickelt.
Die Lautsprecher (40 Watt) haben im Vergleich anderer Hersteller von Micro-Anlagen fr mich die besten Parameter.
Fr meine Zwecke, als Zweitgert, z.B. in der Kche mit Fernbedienung, optimale Eigenschaften.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis ist sehr lobenswert.
Kann den Kauf dieser Anlage bestens weiterempfehlen.
This is a nice cd/ radio player. the remote and controls take a little time to get used too, i still get miffed at how it operates but thats just me i reckon. i have it in the shed but noticed when i plug items in to be charged up the radio goes off ! very strange indeed … the sound quality is great for my shed , its not the most powerful of players but its all i need for garden partying. the Dab radio is great too, pre set channels , choose one and off you go, my favorite is Chill Radio 🙂
Not sure if it’s a settling down problem but purchased two brand new CD’s and both cut out mid track which is a concern but it could be the CD’s. Otherwise it is excellent and compact.

My old Sharp Hifi system stopped working last year, so I purchased a Sony one at the end of last year which had a DAB radio installed. It was a nightmare, it kept on scanning each and every time it was switched on then saying no service (even though presets were set). You had to wait 3 mins for the radio to come one. Sony after sales were atrocious too. Sent it back and got this Sharp unit instead, I took it out of the box, easy to put together, switched it on DAB automatically scanned, I then set up my fav stations in the preset nos, turned off the system and back on again and the radio worked straight away, it was instant – I was so happy! Everything else is really easy to work and the unit looks nice too. Also a plus point the date and time show on the display when the unit it is switched on which didn’t happen with the previous one. So all in all, I’m really pleased with this one. I haven’t yet tried the Bluetooth or USB connections so fingers crossed 🙂
I use to have another before this which was silver but I got rid of it after 13 years since it died on me and wouldn’t let me play my audiobooks. I got this one instead and hopefully, it’ll last longer after 13 years
