Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersBought this chair December 2020, recently the right armrest started to deteriorate. Managed to contact seller via Amazon. Long story short, the day after I gave the seller my address the replacement armrest arrived and free of charge. Hard to find fault with that level of service.

DS is 6ft 2in and built like a brick outhouse. His old chair was leaning to the right and backward from sitting badly and looked to be doing his spine untold damage. This takes up half the space yet manages to keep his aligned and supported correctly.

I’ve had this chair for about a year. Happy with everything – perfect back support, strong and sturdy, comfortable, not too heavy if needs lifting. Totally worth the money!!

Easy to assemble and we’ll made. It’s the most comfortable office chair I’ve ever used. Used for 8 hours a day for a long period of time and still like new, including all adjustable mechanisms that often break on office chairs. Great chair.

I wanted to wait a few months after purchasing this chair to see how it would hold up. This chair is still just as great as when I took it out of the box. It hasn’t degraded or worn down at all. As someone with neck troubles, I never feel sore after sitting in this chair working my 9-5. I love that it can be adjusted for different needs as I am very tall! Great chair, would recommend.

The ergonomic chair market can be really expensive. This chair is the entry level sort of price-point, and I think this chair is incredible value for the money.

The bottom seat is firmer than you’d think, but I prefer that.

As a taller person I like how high the seat rises. Giving my legs full extension and my knees getting a 90 angle at resting point. Which I feel was important for correcting my posture issues with my old chair.

The highest adjustment for the arms is a perfect resting point for my arms to type at my desk.

Another reviewer provided a video showcasing the wobbliness of the arms on his chair. I have a similar thing, but it’s really not affecting me at all.

When my arms are resting on the chair arms they are firm and still. I have to actively rattle the chair arms with my fingers to achieve the irritating wobbliness that the other reviewer was highlighting. So don’t be too put off by that.

I am finding the back of the chair doesn’t go high enough to support my back as I’d hoped. I’m going to check what adjustments I can make with the back, but even at default setup it’s still comfy enough. I just wish the back and headrest were slightly higher.

It’s a sturdy and supportive enough chair. I’m happy at this early stage. And from other reviews, it seems like the chair can stand the test of time. Hopefully mine will do the same.

The chair arrived on time but as I started to assemble it, I noted a tear in the back. (I should have been suspicious, the packaging was damaged). I rang Amazon and the best they could do was replace the whole chair, but that would take weeks and was wasteful: all that was needed was a new back. I said I woukd speak to the manufacturers , and the Amazon guy (Asif) said he would call me back Tuesday (this was on Saturday). I contacted SiHoo, who understood the problem, were happy to ship me just the damaged part, and by the following Friday, I had it and the chair was in use. No drama, Amber at SiHoo showed just how good customer service can be! Thank You Amber!! Disappointingly, Amazon never did call back, I guess I’m not important enough for them to waste customer service time on. If you want a good, comfortable chair, and you want to deal with a company that respects its customers, go direct to SiHoo….Anybody can look good when things go right, but its how they behave when things go wrong that couts. SiHoo are excellent. Amazon just barely adequate.

I was particularly looking for a new home office chair as I am pregnant and my current chair didn’t give me enough back support. I was hesitant at first and when the box got delivered the size put me off, it looked like it was going to be complicated to put together but boy was I wrong! In 6 simple steps clearly outlined by the instructions I managed to do it in about 15 minutes and the results are amazing! I am so happy with this chair I cannot believe I have worked in my home office for all this time without an ergonomic chair! What was I thinking! I can’t believe it took me this long to get one. Ignore any bad reviews. Only thing to watch out for is this chair is very heavy but that’s because it’s sturdy and good quality. Absolutely love the folding footrest too!!! This is great for pregnant women.

    Don’t hesitate buy this chair!

As a sufferer of back-pain due to long hours at a desk, I’ve been incredibly stubborn when it comes to purchasing a new office chair. I can feel a slight improvement in my posture and the lack of numbness in my feet! I feel more alert and energised due to the decrease in pain. I think this is a great chair given its price range.

Good comfortable chair. Foot rest works well albeit slightly fiddly to open up. Only gripe as per a few other reviews use that it doesn’t go fully 90 Deg upright, i.e. with it in most upright position I’m slightly tilted back.

Bought this chair for working from home. I got it recommended by a colleague and I must say I haven’t regretted the purchase. The chair is much more affordable than a lot of other good office chairs, but is comfortable and much better for my back than my previous chair. The support has also been great; one of the armrest cushions cracked a bit after a while, and Sihoo was quick to send me a replacement free of charge.

I have been using this chair for more than one and a half years and I can tell it is very comfortable. It has plenty of adjustments to make it perfect for you.

Additionally, I had an issue with the wheels and contacted support. They responded immediately and send me a replacement part for me. I wish all the products have such good customer support. I will buy this brand again if I need another chair.

Had the chair for about a year, still very comfortable and supportive. A good quality chair, well worth the money if you spend a lot of time at your desk, I did buy some armrest covers for it through. I had a slight issue with the locking mechanism not keeping the chair in its most upright position but I contacted the seller and they quickly shipped out a replacement part. Top-quality customer service. Would 100% buy from them again.

Bought this last week. Was 175. Most expensive chair I have ever bought but really noticed the quality of the materials. Easy to assemble, took about 20 mins so would say don’t pay for assembly. The chair is pretty heavy so would advise to remove all the items from box and then assemble in your room of choice. I got the orange colour and it looks great.

I have contacted the seller as after a few months of use the back mechanism seems to have gone and now every time I lean back it’s no longer the 110 position it goes full 160-odd making it unusable for work purposes.

It also makes a loud popping noise whenever I try to adjust to sit up right wouldn’t recommend the price for something that breaks within a few months. A few reviews have said this.

Brilliant but only for the first 6 months at best as it’s not built to last.

Had the chair and been in use for a couple of months. Mostly used by my husband (5 foot 10”), but also occasionally used by me (5 foot 1”). We both find it very comfortable to sit in as it is very adjustable. Regarding assembly the feedback I got was that it comes in a surprisingly large number of pieces. Still husband assembled it all by himself in an afternoon and I didn’t hear any swearing so it can’t have been that bad. Compared to the professional chairs provided by my office the construction is visibly ‘basic’ (think plastic turn knobs rather than gas pressured levers), but no less comfortable for it. I think that if it was in a general office then eventually someone would break it adjusting the chair, but as it is only really used by one person and therefore not adjusted much/ very often I have high hopes that it will last a long time.

Very impressed with this chair. Lumber is great, head rest is easy to adjust and amazed at the amount of movement.

Personally I have a back issue and need a ridiculously high chair – I emailed the guys about getting a higher gas strut and they helped me out with no questions. To be fair nothing to do with their product – more my height and weirdly long legs..

In fact so impressed with the customer service that I’m leaving a review as never leave them..

    Here are the important points:
This particular chair is orange & black.
It looks fantastic in this colour IMO. It’s not too shouty, but far more interesting than all black.
It is very supportive and comfortable.
You can adjust many aspect of the chair to suit – Chair height, back support height & pressure, arms height, chair rock-back weighting, or lock-out and head support height & angle.

    It’s great!

Working from home has caused major issues for my wife’s comfort. She started to get persistent back problems. Eventually enough was enough, so after many hours of research, I brought this beauty.
It has full lumbar support. Can get down low enough for her (she’s only 5 foot, bless her), and she tells me she is extremely comfortable. After only a few days her back pain is gone. I can finally stop the massage, lol.
The other added plus, it was extremely easy to put together. Took less than 20 minutes.
I’ve tried it out myself and I’m tempted to buy one for me, even though I don’t work from home

My Office World chair died…this Sahoo is a delight. comfortable, adjusts every-which-way and looks like 500. Assembling it was straightforward, say 35minutes and I was born in 1940 ! No tools needed, everything supplied and screws/washers et al were all located firmly in a strip card, with clear descriptions. Manual too was a surprice, good, clear English, with Spanish/French/Italian and German in equally clear script, all written on fine gloss paper….machining good, no sharp edges. and go-faster roller blade wheels !!
Lumbar support very good and high adjustable headrest…that’s it..yours aye..major j

This chair is brilliant, I used to have a faux leather one and I would get get cramps in my back all the time. I saw a post explaining the benefits of a chair like this and decided to give it a go. Almost immediately after swapping to it the pain in my back started to go. Now after almost 2 weeks use it still hasn’t returned, it’s like a miracle cure.

It was very easy to assemble, instructions are clear and easy to read, all screws and washers are clearly labelled. I had this chair put together in less than 15 minutes by myself.

The seller was incredibly helpful, I had some issues with delivery (nothing to do with them) and they helped get it sorted almost instantly. When I couldn’t collect it for a few days, they messaged and asked if there was a problem and how they could help, their service went above and beyond.

My only con is the locking recliner, it only locks in 3 positions, so you don’t get full control of the position. But really that’s me nit picking, it doesn’t bother me at all.

All in all the chair is amazing and the seller is great, 10/10 would recommend this chair!

As someone who is currently working from home and at their desk 14+ hours per day I really recommend this chair. I was apprehensive at first with it being a brand I’d never heard of, I was worried about it being cheap and flimsy, however it is totally the opposite! I watched many reviews on youtube for office vs gaming chair and even looked at the expensive Herman Miller, however I found this chair to be equally as comfortable and a fraction of the price. This chair has all you need and I’d recommend the added footrest, I don’t extend it out fully, rather I cross legs over on it for extra comfort.

The only real downside is the headrest, it doesn’t really click into place, however this is quickly resolved by tightening the bolts. As for the arm rests they are fairly comfortable, however I’ve ordered myself some pads to place over the top of them.

As for customer support, I complained on the delivery time due to wanting it earlier and they offered me a sizable partial refund for a 2 day delay which was fantastic!

Take this as my critical review, this chair is worth a shot.

I am really very happy with this chair. I took about 2 days reviewing the various options and comments. The cheaper chairs seem to fail and many of the very expensive chairs and not worth the money. I had high expectations and I am happy. The delivery was quite quick.

I work from home, for 90%, of the year and was forced to work in a spare bedroom with just enough space for a full desk and chair, to get out from behind the desk. This is a replacement chair for a replacement chair. I had a full work chair and I tried a kneeling down chair but it could not work for me.

This chair has a smaller footprint than my other chair so that I can pull it out a further 5 cm from the desk. I have removed the hand-rests. I am happy camper with the additional 5 cm of space, the chair wheels do extend beyond the back of the chair, for those who forgot to take this into account for space measurements.

I have found that the chair components were very constructed. I loved the “white gloves” that prevented a small amount of grease from soiling my hands. Even my wife commented on the gloves, a very nice touch. The company paid attention to small details, so the overall effect was very good. The mesh back made the chair much lighter than the previous chair. The components fitted together in 15 min, taking my time. I do like that the castors do not clip in permanently, but do not slip out either. This makes the dismantling of the chair easier.

The headrest movement is not controlled, a hand-controlled screw would have been a great touch – I have squeezed my hand twice moving the chair and getting my hand between the chair and headrest. I do not seem to be able to control the range of the backward tilt – It has some resistance but it goes back about 30 degrees, more than I wanted but I do not tilt back much.

When it became clear that working from home was going to go on for more than just a few months I decided to replace my home office chair. This has been great and comparable to those used in the company’s office which cost 4 times as much. I am still at home 100% of the time so it probably gets more use than the average office chair (less holidays because there is nowhere to go and its also my computer chair so often gets weekend or evening use).

One year (to the day) later I contacted the vendor because one of the arm supports started breaking up. No quibbles and a replacement armrest arrived on my doorstep within 10 days shipped via international courier. The chair itself is still comfortable, has retained its shape and appearance and there has been no sign of the back or shoulder pain I experienced with the chair that this has replaced.

Love this chair. Absolutely perfect. Having previously bought a cheap chair for around 50 on another buying format (which was awful) I literally spent weeks on and off researching what was on the market. I was dubious about spending quite a large sum of money without being able to test it out first.
Anyway, so pleased I went with this. For the price (which is actually cheap if you want a decent chair) then this is value for money.
Used it for a couple of weeks now before writing a review. Spent 8-10 hours in it per day this past week working from home. My old chair was awful to sit on and killed my neck. As someone who has previously suffered from bad posture and neck issues over the years, I’ve not had a bad neck once when sitting in this all day. Ideal for my posture and ergonomically set up right for my desk etc.
Highly Recommend you won’t be disappointed. So pleased I spent the cash. Real value for money with good build quality

Looks like a well built product.

Bought for adjustable lumbar and longevity.

Only criticism – I would like to be able to adjust the lumbar support so that it is a bit higher. I am 6ft and believe it to only just be high enough for my preferred lumbar support positio

When the chair arrived it was heavier than I expected, so I took care in moving the box and working with the pieces. Once assembled this isn’t a problem , the chair is easy to move around on casters. The instructions were excellent, very easy to follow, with all components clearly labelled and referenced in the instructions, so I found no difficulty picking the right screws/washers at each stage. They even provided a pair of white gloves to wear when assembling! The build quality is excellent, it is a really solid chair with a good wide base for stability. Adjustment of seat height, arm rest height, tilt and tilt tension, and headrest all easy and straightforward. Finally, most important of all, very comfortable! Overall, very pleased with the chair.

I spend most of my waking time sitting at my desk, either working or gaming, a good chair is essential for me and this one fits the bill.

I wish there were a couple more adjustment options, like an horizontal slider for the headrest and vertical slider for the whole back part, but given the price point I can’t really complain.

Customer service is also great, I had a problem with the lumbar support cushion and they went and shipped me a whole second chair within the week.

Was easy to assemble with a tool tat was handled and not a small Allen key some have that allowed you to get a good grip on to tighten the screws. Once assembled was comfortable and took a little while adjust to my sitting posture but supports well. Only thing I do find is the head rest is not worth bothering with as too far back for me and to low. Also the thigh clearance at the front of the chair is not as good as the chair is raised at the front. Overall happy with it though.

This appears to be a great quality chair. It was easy to put together, despite some instructions that were difficult to understand. I should be really pleased with it. However, I’m 6’2 and find that everything is just slightly to low, even when at maximum extension. The seat height is a little too low for me, the lumbar support is a couple of inches too low to be useful and the headrest doesn’t even reach my neck.

I’ve worked in many offices over many years and sat on all sorts of chairs – this one is just as good as any I’ve ever used and has all the adjustments I’ve ever expected: arm-rests go up and down (not left, right, back or forward), seat goes up and down, back reclines, headrest and lumbar support are provided (* more later). The model I bought M18-M156 also has a foot rest which is a lot nicer than I expected, great for relaxing if you’re on a long phone call or a boring zoom meeting, or just watching video.

Assembly is easy (watch a 5-minute M18 video from Sihoo on YT to see) but needs some strength – the chair seat and back are quite heavy. Lifting the chair seat onto the pole in the base is the hardest part. The armrests are specific to each side – mine only had an ‘R’ sticker for the right armrest, but I’d already figured out which was which. All the tools are provided, with 2 spare bolts and washers.

It’s easy to operate the controls and it’s movements are all smooth. It’s strong and comfortable.

Like all office chairs, none are perfect for everyone, so I can’t give it 5 stars. In every chair I’ve used, there’s always something not quite right – but this ine is among the best, because the imperfections don’t bother you too much.

The only thing I feel could be improved in this chair is the lumbar cushion – it hasn’t enough padding and has hard edges – for me, the top of this support digs into my back, it isn’t painful but feels awkward… it can be adjusted and if you keep trying you’ll find a good depth and height for it. Some people like to feel some pressure in the lumbar support, this chair will apply pressure along the top edge of the support cushion – so if it had more padding or was slightly more curved it would be perfect. Even so, once adjusted it supports the lumbar region and is better than not having it.

he chair is very simple and great, it’s way comfier than a corsair gaming chair i’ve had for a few months; I’m 6ft 1 which isn’t that tall, but somehow it was a huge problem with the corsair chair, but not at all with this one – the customizable lumbar is amazing too, since we all have different backs.

I’m only giving it 4 stars because i bought the “upgraded” version with the roller blade wheels and they’re awful; you pull yourself in and the wheels face one way, then if you push out, they have to turn around and it feels like you’re going over an extension cord wire.
