    —————————————————————————————————————
    Bref a donne a :

    Pros
    – Relacin calidad/precio bastante buena
    – Programas para dibujar preinstalados
    – Va rpida y no tarda en cargarse

    Contras

I wanted a tablet to try and do more digital art , and it’s really easy to use! It’s light and easy to travel with, whilst still being big enough to draw with. It’s got great software and I highly recommend!! It’s really good for just drawing on the go if like me you have far too many art supplies you want to take with you everywhere! It is a standalone product which is so hard to find with good pen pressure sensitivity! 10/10

I brought this for my daughter, as she wanted a drawing tablet. My daughter has always had an iPad so this was a bit of risk. There are not many on the market but the cheaper ones are not portable and don’t have a screen. Also the more expensive ones are not portable, they need to be connected to a PC or some sort of a device. I spent ages looking for a portable drawing tablet, after researching and looking, I decided to get this as a surprise gift for my daughter.
She loves her new tablet, plus we see no difference, when I compare this tablet to an iPad. They have the same functions, plus has excellent features for drawing and it came with a glove, drawing pen and a cover.
There are not many about to pick from but this one is excellent value for money. plus it’s not only for drawing, it has all features that a tablet would have. Recommend 100%

This is a great little starter pad for drawing, the pen is high quality and performance good, although there is a slight parallax error between pen and line. The Android system takes a bit to get used to if you are used to Windows, but it just means the menus are in a different place. I’m enjoying using it so far and it seems well made and the bonus cover is useful.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m on a tight budget but wanted a tablet that I could do digital art on. This is a good/cheep alternative to the others on the market. The tablet itself (and the pen) are quite sturdy and look pretty good! The case that came with it is also nice and the drawing glove comes in very handy! I would say this is an excellent tablet for beginners and students, which is who its aimed for. I’m using the tablet to do small digital commissions but I can see that some professionals might find this tablet unsuitable. The screen resolution is a bit on the lowside and it can lag slightly when working on a large canvas. The palm rejection is a little haphazard but if you use the glove provided its a non issue. Im very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhen it’s comes to art I’m not a complete beginner but with drawing digitally I am and I didn’t want anything too fancy just something like a portable tablet rather then an entire computer. This drawing tablet is exactly what I was after. For the admittedly cheap price it’s good quality for what you pay. The app they pre install it with is very easy to use and very resourceful in its wide range of pencil types and colouring types. Although the app doesn’t respond sometimes and it freezes and you might have to restart it, it will saveyour work anyways and isn’t much of a bother. I do tend to draw quite fast so that could be a reason it crashes. This tablet is also pre installed with instagram and YouTube so that’s been handy. Also the money you pay for this tablet some of it goes to poverty stricken sick children to help pay for their medical care so that was really nice. I would suggest this tablet if you aren’t too serious about digital art but still want to create good pieces without having to buy an entire computer and drawing tech separately. I would recommend.

    It’s been very good

You get what you pay for but that is not always a bad saying to use. This item is great for beginners. The predownloded program is horrible but since its more of a tablet designe you are able to down load your own apps I use ibus paint and I know there are a lot of great free drawing apps for beginners. Since it’s also a tablet you can look up source material to refer to while drawing right on the tablet so you can down load the image and up load it to your drawing app so you can either trace reference for add to the photo. The pen works really well with the pressure sensitivity but the app I use wasnt really designed for pressure sensitive stylus so most of the brushes dont work with it but the few that do work fantastic. My only issue is the pen over heats some times and you have to take out the batteries to cool it down if you dont the battery will go out quicker and it already goes out pretty quick. But you get what you pay for. Over all I think it’s a great thing for people to use to decide if they want to do digital art.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis has become my go to tool for drawing. Rather than having to hunt down pens and markers when my kitten has taken off with them, I just have to keep track of the tablet, pen and glove. It came preinstalled with art apps, and they’re super easy to get used to. Five bucks extra gets you a fully functional ArtFlow program and it’s almost as good as Photoshop. The battery life is a little iffy, and occasionally I have to turn it over to my roommate to convince it to turn on, but I’ve been able to produce gorgeous work with it, and even improve as time went on.

The best part is, I don’t have to be hooked up to a computer to draw. In the past I’ve had to cart a large bag around for my laptop and tablet, since I couldn’t use the tablet without my computer attached. Now I can draw anywhere with just a small backpack for my tablet, phone and charger.

Honestly the only drawback for me is how long it takes to charge, and how quickly I lose battery if I want true colors in my work. You can’t have everything, though.

Update 10/21: the art app that comes pre-installed can’t handle anything over ~2500x2700px and will cause the entire unit to lag. Experiment with other art apps if that’s going to frustrate you.

Be prepared to be charging a lo

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI bought this for my daughter as she loves to draw on her laptop and had a cheap plug in drawing device to use. This packed in, so after lots of research, this was the one. It does not require an external laptop, the screen is designed specifically to draw onto with the provided pen and it runs on Android, so you can log onto it with a Gmail account. The drawing package on the tablet works perfectly well and my daughter (who is 11 years old) picked up how it works straight away. You can of course add different apps should you wish. I had a little go on it and was amazed by how real things drawer onto the screen. A pencil draws like a pencil for example, and the pressure you apply is translated perfectly. It’s a great piece of kit, good value, and my daughter loves it! Rob 🙂

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it. Still uses it daily and sometimes spends ages on it.
She finds it easy to use, easy to download apps (which you will have to do), I think it would be handy for beginners to use as if you make a mistake, just undo and carry on.
The only bad thing I can say is the price, I found it a bit to pricey for someone to buy. I was going to buy it sooner but had to keep asking my daughter if she was going to use it on a regular basis, if not it would not be worth buying.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Users…to enjoy using this bit of kit. Firstly, you only need an internet connection to get the main drawing programme registered, then you can forget all about it unless you particularly want to be inundated with Google updates and/or download other drawing packages. Autodesk Sketch is the one that comes with it (and requires you to register) which is more than sufficient to get started with many different brush/pencil effects and a reasonable colour palette. Fully charged in about 5 hours, no issues with scratchy pen marks (a certain amount of care is required but you can feel when the stylus is starting to catch on the surface). It doesn’t need a computer (laptop / desktop) and transferring your masterpieces from the PiccassoTab to Android or Windows is done via a USB cable (supplied), you just need to tell the PicasscoTab to treat the connection as file download not charge (this menu is hidden away top right of the screen).
All in all, if you want a gizmo to sketch/paint with that doesn’t require a peripheral screen or separate device, this is ideal.

Given the price of this device, what you’re getting is a good value for the money. My son bought this for his birthday and it came updated to Android 8.1.0. The tablet includes a basic case, drawing glove, and a pressure-sensitive stylus, as well as the basic cords and accessories you would expect to find. It also includes a couple decent sketching programs right out of the gate, which allows it to function as advertised as a digital drawing pad without requiring additional software.

While I haven’t benchmarked or checked anything, it seems to work just fine as intended. I’m sure it’s on the slower side as far as tablets go, but the drawing is decently responsive and the pressure sensor works fine on the stylus. The screen is also a standard touch screen if you want to draw using your finger or navigate without using the stylus. There is a slight delay while drawing that I’m sure you wouldn’t find on a more expensive digital pad, but given that this is $200 and doesn’t require a PC, I think that’s probably an acceptable trade-off. It includes basic tablet functionality – wi-fi support, internet browsing, email, and the ability to download and run any Android 8.1.0 compatible apps. I believe the screen is 1280×800, which isn’t fantastic but works okay given the screen size.

Overall, I think this is an excellent entry-level tablet for those who are specifically interested in digital art. You can get better general-purpose devices, and better digital drawing solutions, but at the price point this is a pretty good all-in-one kind of solution, especially for kids who might not have access to a PC of their own.

My daughter has been drawing on paper since she was 3. At first I thought it was just a phase, but she has continued to draw for the past ten years. I give you this bit of information to politely say, it’s taken her 7 of those years to get me to buy this tablet for her.

We have spent so much money on special erasers, drawing pads, charcoal pencils, all of the “great stuff” artists use. We bought an iPad for my wife, and later handed it down to my daughter. Although there are some great apps for other tablets, the apps are limited in a lot of ways. For the past three years my daughter has been BEGGING for a “drawing tablet”. So I decided to do some research for specifics.

The good: this particular tablet arrives with a specific drawing app that IPhone or Android does not offer. The display is very good, obviously with it being a “smaller size” the picture seems so much clearer. It’s very responsive with the stylus that it comes with. The price is within reason, and it allows for “YouTube” recording.

The bad: although it does come with a leather bound case, there are no other options as far as a case goes. The stylus does not have a rubber tip, so you may have to buy a screen protector in order to prevent scratches (I’m not quite sure of this just yet, it’s only been two months). It only bolsters the desire for bigger and more expensive tablet.

The down and dirty: I would definitely recommend this product to someone who is looking to grow their artistic abilities. My daughter takes Art in school and has been able to expand her abilities because of the different abilities the app has. Definitely buy the glove for the artist tablet, it comes with one black one, but if it gets caught in the couch, eaten by the dog, or just forgot at school, then it kind of curves the “earth is ending” moments. Great product, just know you ARE getting what you’re paying for.

This item arrived exactly when it was said to arrive which is refreshing compared to other services.

The tablet is absolutely amazing for drawing. The pen isn’t like other graphics tablet pens and actually feels like a real pen/pencil. Using it feels so smooth, the pressure sensitivity is beautiful and compared to some of the other devices available this is an absolute steal for the price it’s at.

If you want to get into digital art this is something I cannot recommend enough.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersFirst and foremost… this is an entry entry level tablet that supports stylus so dont expect the world from it. For the price and what you get , this is an amazing deal. You cant really buy a brand new tablet that supports active stylus and comes with a free case, glove, traveling chargers and the active pen for the price.

    Summary:
Stylus: works really well for the price.
Screen: It is not amazing but gets the job done. Could use a higher resolution/ higher pixel density panel.

Since there isn’t a ton of reviews online I will give a mini review based on my experience to help those who are interested in this tablet.

    Who is this tablet for?
In a nutshell… Basically anyone who wants a budget tablet with a screen that supports a stylus. If you dont care about stylus pen support… dont even consider this tablet.

In my opinion the most important factor for this tablet would be the stylus and than the screen. The rest are great feature to have like the dual speaker, cameras, expandable storage and HDMI output. So I am only going to comment on those two aspects.

    How is the active stylus?
Honestly looking at the price I had my doubts when buying it. But to my surprise the pen sensitivity is not bad at all. Also note that the pressure sensitivity is 1048. Honestly it is not bad for the price but just to put things into perspective higher end tablet supports ~8000 pressure sensitivity. The tips seems to be replaceable since they are selling it on their website. Just note that due to the battery, the pen is top end heavy. Overall the stylus works quite well and seems durable enough. Only thing is there is a lot of jitters in slow strokes but a fast stoke will smooth out the line. Also given the price point the jitters in slow strokes is expected.

    Screen any good?
Not the greatest… resolution is low and not the most responsive to finger touches (Which could be a good thing when drawing with the stylus). I find that using the glove actually help with reducing the number of unwanted strokes from the hand resting on the screen dramatically. Even thought that is not the primary function of the glove…

Overall: I would suggest this tablet to anyone who wants a budget drawing tablet that works good enough to get the job done. However, if you are a little more serious and want to invest into a more capable entry level tablet that you can grow into I would suggest you to spent ~$400 for a GAOMON PD1560 or equivalent.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have found that I have been able to use this tablet with various drawing and painting apps to really have fun and produce really good images. Excellent little tablet for the money and it includes elements that are very useful. As an older person it is really easy to use, I am looking forward to taking it on holiday to Portugal and sketching and drawing.

Lo apro e dentro troviamo tablet, alimentatore, cavo type c, 2 pellicole protettive, cover, penna, adattatori presa ENG/IT/US, manualistica e panno pulizia vetro.

Golden Review Award: 281 From Our UsersThis is great for when I’m on the go, or when I don’t feel like working at my desk. I bought my tablet a few weeks ago. It works a lot better with the ARTFLOW STUDIO APP. So far, no lag at all. All my files are 8.5×11.0 at 300 DPI.

    I watched a youtube review…

(Review: Simbans PicassoTab – Budget Tablet for Digital Sketching)

that sold me on this product and I had to buy it!
The reviewer, Teoh Yi Chie is a tech guy, but his review was from an artist’s perspective.

p.s. The stylus battery that came with the tablet lasted only a month… because I used this device for hours almost every day.
I found rechargeable batteries, a charger and a 6.6ft USB cord here on Amazon for a really good price.

ANVOW Rechargeable AAAA Batteries for Surface Pen for: $6.99

Olight UC Universal Magnetic USB Charger for: $9.99

In order for the charger to make a proper connection with the AAAA’s, I had to peel back the wrap to expose more of the battery.

Cable Matters USB-C Cable (USB A to USB C Cable/USB C to USB Cable) with Braided Jacket in Black 6.6 Feet for: $5.99

Here are a few samples of my work from using this device.

    UPDATE: from November 2019
The tablet is still great, but I eventually had some issues with the stylus. I noticed that the tracking was off. I had to recalibrate the stylus almost every time I started working on a project. This may not bother a beginner, but for someone who does digital on a daily basis, it’s really annoying.

Great for a BEGINNER at digital a

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersItem works exactly as expected, well worth it for the price. Great for taking notes and drawing on the go!

The only things i dont like about it is as an artist the diagonal line jitter is pretty annoying, but can kind of be reduced depending on the program you use. And i do have problems with palm rejection, but some art programs do fix that so it isnt the worst thing.

The thing i hate MOST about this product is the pen. It feels good quality and is nice and heavy but it takes AAAA battery, which i personally have not seen before and i can only find it online which is pretty inconvenient. But the WORST part is how it scratches the screen protector. Ive had this tablet two days or so and the whole screen is already ruined with scratches, all i did was draw one picture and take a couple of notes. So the screen protector would have to be changed extremely often which absolutely sucks. All the scratches make the screen harder to see, and id be afraid to remove it and try using it without it because i wouldnt want to damage the tablets actual screen.
Other than that its pretty good in all of its functions, and for the price i cannot complain. I wouldnt reccomend it for pros but for beginners i really think youd like it.

    I like it but...

Golden Review Award: 169 From Our UsersI just received this tablet today, and thus far, it’s been pretty okay. It runs as it should, and while yes, it is just your average tablet with an art brand name slapped on and a drawing app pre-installed, it gets the job done and that’s enough for me. Mine came fully charged, so the first few hours were spent setting it up and installing some apps to best suit me — I’ve heard this wasn’t a good tablet to game on as it was, so it’s only going to be used for mostly art. This may not be a tablet that professionals can rely on, but I think it’s perfect for those who are beginners or those who like to casually doodle or/and mess around when it comes to drawing.

Four stars only because it wasn’t delivered on the day promised, but rather shipped OUT on that day.

UPDATE 4/2/18: I’ve been using this thing with MediBang and it does as promised. Although, my pen had an instance where it stopped working. At first, I replaced the battery, but still no bite. In the end, tapping it against my palm a few times got it to work again. It’s a good tablet, but I guess it’s a hit and miss with people who get theirs. Not saying you shouldn’t get this tablet, but do have some caution when buying it and after reading these reviews.

UPDATE 7/12/2018: This tablet holds up well and does it’s job as a tablet. I needed a new pen since the nib on mine was wearing down, and the Simbans site actually does sell them alone ( the pens ) for 30 bucks each. A kinda “ehh” price just for a vital drawing tool for the tablet, but it’s understandable due to the material the pen itself is made out of.

UPDATE 1/20/21: I’ve officially had this tablet for three years and it’s held up very well! While the camera no longer works (due to problems I cannot seem to figure out for the life of me), the picassotab has been nothing but reliable in furthering my digital art. It’s all in a matter of taking care of it via replacing the screen protector, keeping up with the RAM/background running apps, and making sure its in the case at all times. I would definitely recommend the tablet for any artist at any skill level, the pen pressure sensitivity is phenomenal.

    Very durable tablet!

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersI love everything about it so far. I didn’t realize that it essentially is like an android phone (with the app layout etc). This made the transition super smooth. Everything was very easy to find and navigate. It booted up very quickly. Screen protector already installed. There is a pretty little case that comes with it. There was a AAAA (heck I never knew there was such a thing) battery already in the pen with an extra one. Not sure how long the battery life lasts but I will update as I’ll be using it a lot. Will see how long the tablet batter lasts after constant usage. I believe it turns off after a few minutes of no usage. I’m sure that can be adjusted. I only purchased it for the drawing. I will upgrade the sketchbook software that was installed but will also add ArtRage.

    Pros

    * It comes with a charger (US as well as UK/Europe included) with usb cord (to use in outlet or charge by computer).
    * If I wanted to, there is a HDMI port to connect to a computer or tv
    * You can add additional memory.
    *Pen sensitivity

    Cons/Other Thoughts

    * Technically I don’t have any or have not found anything yet. It doesn’t seem to get too hot when on for a very long time.
*This is my first tablet so I can’t say if it is heavy? I have arthritis and carpal tunnel so I wouldn’t be the best judge of it anyway. But it doesn’t seem too bulky or ridiculous.
*Compared to a wacom pen, the included pen certainly has some weight to it. I do not believe it is plastic, it is perhaps metal or something similar (from unscrewing the cap) when taking a look at the battery.
*The pen is not thick in width but it’s not super skinny either. I honestly do not know what to compare it too. Umm…..If you need specifics feel free to ask and I’ll try and get more information. It seems larger (in width) than a regular pen or pencil (is round/no edges). So maybe the size of a normal pen + maybe another 15%? Again I may just be way off but the weight and size does not mess with it’s balance or my accuracy drawing. ***edit I don’t know what I was thinking. It is the same size as a default wacom pen. Sorry. 😀
*The tip/nib seems similar to the default one that comes with a Wacom. I will update later to see how long it takes me to wear it down. To my knowledge there were no extras but I’m sure the universal default ones will fit. I will say that I will order more of the flex tip nibs.

    Edit 3/3/18
I’ve been playing with it everyday. Again I only use it for the drawing/reference photo capability and not for internet browsing etc. Revisited the default art program (with the 99 cent upgrade) so am still learning about the different tools/features. I did figure out ow to change the background color. I haven’t quite found a way of adding color/painting that I like yet though. I now switch between it and ArtRage. The little daily challenges are also fun (can upload to deviantart).

I tried replacing the default pen nib with one of the other ones I am more familiar with (fits wacom pens). Nope. It did not work. I am still researching if you can only use the default pen/nib or if there is a way to make any styluses work. I feel that the default is too hard. I like the smoother/felt type ones. Even with the screen protector on the tablet as well as drawing lightly, a person will scratch the crap out of the thing. I’m sure it would be easy just to put another screen protector on but hopefully you catch my drift.

I did go ahead and purchase rechargeable AAAA batteries and an adapter as I use it for drawing a lot. Battery power overall? I can’t gauge yet. I have ot remember to pay attention. I charge it all the way and also turn the screen off if I’m not drawing (ie sneaking in some drawing at work but a call comes in). I have noticed after disabling or force stopping programs the battery power is better. I also have wifi off because again, I’m just using it strictly for drawing purposes.

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersReu comme d’habitude dans les temps Merci Amazon. Trs bel emballage, protection srieuse.
    L’tui simili cuir parfaitement adapt,

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThe Picasso is a great sketching tablet, the pen feels good.
It works best I have found with Adobe Sketch, not with Autodesk Sketchbook like everyone seems to recommend.

Something to note… It runs on an older version of Android so anyone needing to cast to a chromecast will need to download the chromecast app.

There is a screen protector that scratches very easily. So applications that use pen pressure will cause scratching. You can remove it if it becomes too scratched.
There is no power light, so you have no idea if it is charging or not until the screen comes on.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersMy daughter wanted a tablet she could draw on. We downloaded the software included with this tablet and tested it on a galaxy tab we had from 2-3 years ago. This beat it hands down the drawing lag of fast drawing was half what it was on the galaxy tab. She has used it daily to draw all manner of things and she loves it. It does suffer a little drawing lag when shading and drawing but do not let that put you off. I was sceptical of a tablet saying it was a drawing tablet for under 130 but this does the job and does it well.

    Beschreibung:

Gleich mal vorweg.

    PRO:
    Guter Lieferumfang
    Stylus Pen zum Zeichnen
Vorinstallierte Zeichen App, auch mit Fingern bedienbar!
    Anschlussmglichkeit fr externe Tastatur
    bereits neuer USB C Standard
Speicher Erweiterung mglich mit micro SD
    Knapp 25GB freier interner Speicher
    aktuelles und sauberes Android 7.0
keine Bloatware oder Malware im Test gefunden
Anschlussmglichkeit an externe Gerte mit micro HDMI
10″ IPS Display, Optimierung mit Mira Vision mglich
    Touch Screen reagiert gut

    -schwaches GPS
-schwache Kameras (Bei schwachem licht sehr schlecht und hohes Bildrauschen) bei ausreichend Licht OK.
    -fr aktuelle Spiele kaum geeignet
    -trotz USB C langsamer Datentransfer

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe have bought this for my sons christmas present, so only tested to ensure it works, it has a great size screen and seems really nice to use. My son loves to draw especially comics and this was his main request for presents so were really hoping he likes it too. The only down side is the screen isnt sensitive to pressure, but for the price, you cant really expect that and so overall seems good value for money. I also really like that the tablet runs android and so therefore can be used as a normal tablet also.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersNice tablet, screen is a great size, sound is a bit disappointing but still very good value for money. Make sure the tablet is charged for about five hours before trying to switch it on, I thought mine was faulty at first because at first it shows no signs that it is taking a charge but it is in fact fine. I’d recommend as a good entry level tablet with good picture quality, if you want to watch movies etc. you’d probably need to hook it up to a speaker or set of headphones.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersPros:
Price is right – For being able to see my digital drawings on the thing I actually am drawing on, with out having to purchase additional accessories, makes this exactly what I wanted, the next viable option in tablets I was looking at was well over 100$ more so price is good.
Screen – Large, very crisp and clear.
Accessories – Comes with a case, screen protector and pen. Perfect would have also included a drawing glove but for an additional 7$ I got my own.
Charge – I’ve had this thing off charge for many hours, watching Netflix and drawing on it and the battery kept going and going.

    Cons:
Pen – Not sure if its the pen, or perhaps the screen protector, but drawing can feel scratchy at time. Not so much that I’d send it back but enough to notice.
USB C – Some people might like this but since I only currently own devices that are micro USB charged I have exactly 0 USB C chargers laying around meaning the one that came with the tablet is the only one I currently own. And its short. Making it a pain to charge and use at the same time. I didn’t see that it was USB C in the ad or I would have purchased additional cables when I bought this.
    Weight – Its heavy.
Case – Free case is nice in concept but not the most practical in use. Trying to access the settings or notifications on the tablet when its in the case is a bit annoying as the case goes up to the edge of the screen making it hard to swipe down to pull down the menu.
Speakers – Watching movies/videos on this tablet are very tin-y. Earphones or external speakers are recommended.

Overall I’d recommend. All of my cons are small tiny nitpicks and honestly I’d still buy this tablet again even with them, its just things I’d wish I’d known.

Golden Review Award: 195 From Our UsersPros: Battery Life, Screen protector preinstalled, Sturdy secure case, Pen has nice weight & is accurate and responsive with adjustable sensitivity and metal clip, Chargers for different needs provided, Chrome browser preinstalled. Not a lot of other unneeded apps preloaded. Get all the functionality of a regular tablet + artistic functions with the stylus and autodesk sketchbook app that’s preinstalled and upgradeable.

Cons: tiny sliver(1-2mm) on far right of screen that seems to wrap colors from whats displayed on the left side, Lack of specs on tablet in booklet, No info on pen/pen battery life.

This was purchased for my teenage daughter to replace a dragon touch x10 tablet she received for Christmas 2016. It arrived about 3 days ago and has barely left her hands since. Charged to 100% the first afternoon it is only now at 5%. The case is sturdy and looks nice. It has a wrap around flap that velcros underneath of the tablet to keep it secured. On the back is a pleather flap for tucking the bottom of the case into to turn it into a stand. Not sure how well that flap will hold up over time. There is a magnet on the bottom for the pen as well as a loop at the top to secure it when traveling. The pen has a nice weight to it for drawing. There is a powerlight and up and down buttons to adjust sensitivity on the pen. I’m not sure if they do anything else. When you receive the tablet there is a small booklet enclosed. Unfortunately you will find more specs in the amazon listing than in the booklet that’s included. It is in several languages and tells you how to power the tablet on and off and includes diagrams for different port/cord connections but no specs at all. Apart from a photo showing that the pen is included there is zero information about it. The light on it will go off and it will stop working after 10-30 minutes. Sticking it to the magnet makes it start working again after a few seconds. I would really have liked more information on the pen itself. Does it charge only on the magnet or also when in the loop? How long should it be left for a full charge? What’s the expected battery life when charged fully? We’ve googled and checked the company website but haven’t been able to find anymore information anywhere.. which also makes me wonder if at some point it got lost or stopped charging would we be able to order a replacement? Since the pen is what really sets this tablet apart from others in the price range it would be a shame not to be able to replace it if needed.

My daughter is somewhat artistic and enjoyed drawing and coloring little characters the old fashioned way in notebooks in her free time but had never been able to translate any of her artistic skills to digital mediums. Anyone who has ever dealt with trying to trying to draw by mouse or touchpad or even get a decent signature with one of those store pen pads will understand the frustration. This pen tablet combo allowed her to make that transition easily out of the box. The preinstalled art app is called autodesk sketchbook. You are able to use layers and have several tools available as it comes but you can also upgrade the app for $5 to add more functionality, tools, and brushes with previews. The pen works really well with the app and it’s adjustable sensitivity comes in handy here. On higher sensitivities you are able to use brush strokes or airbrushing for example by moving it above the surface without touching the tablet. If you use recent photoshop though it doesn’t have 3d or custom brushes but I suppose you could always use photoshop app with it if you needed more. All in all it’s a great starter option for anyone wanting to play with digital mediums without having to commit to a high cost graphics tablet or sacrifice the other functions of a regular tablet. Nothing comparable in the price range.
