I was having back pain when I would get up in the morning & would last 2 to 3 hrs. I thought it was arthritis. I tried many different remedies. None worked. This was going on for more than 2 months. After using this at night for just 2 nights, my back pain was gone. I highly recommend this!
This massage cushion works wonderfully. It is comfortable to use and reaches all the parts of my back. I like the spot treatment feature so I can concentrate on the specific achy areas. The removable pad is nice so you can adjust the intensity of the massage.
I use the device every day to massage my back. The air compression decompresses my spine and leaves my back feeling loose and relaxed. The infared heat is an amazing additional feature as it soothes the tension that builds up throughout the day. 5/5 I highly recommend!
Shiatsu massage is almost still too strong at times but really great. Velcro straps need to be longer or have extender for couches and recliners.

It’s not bad at all. It serves the purpose. I have an upper back pain. It relieves me somehow. The neck massager doesn’t seem to go to the lowest point that would reach the back of my neck but I played around with it and was able to get the part massaged. I put mine on the recliner couch when in used and it’s easier to adjust the angle to my comfort. And the auto mode is the best feature. Wish the massager could extend to the gluteal area. So far I would recommend this product! I purchased 2 one for myself and one as a gift to someone special!

Received as a Christmas present. Was not sure about this, but once used several times, it changed my mind. Hits all the right spots. The 15 minute massage goes by really quick.

Massage chair worked as described. There are many functions, even an air compression function. The neck massager is easily adjusted. I’m short and my husband is tall so it is very useful to be able to adjust for height. The top cover to the neck section and the body section is removable and Washable which is a must for us. We like our things clean. There is a heat and vibration function as well.
Being an older guy still trying to stay active, my back usually is aching (along with most other body parts). I needed something like this, and after using my daughter’s for a while and had to give it back, needed a good replacement. Works very well! Came with a cover you can put over it for a softer massage, but I like it without that. It has a ‘heat’ feature, but doesn’t get real hot, just a little warm. The side air compression things were a very interesting feature. Really made it feel like I was being cradled in there. With the vibrations in the seat and the Air Compression (sorta squeezes you in cycles) you can feel the vibrations all over. You can get a bit closer to the back rollers without the back Air Compression on if a stronger/harder massage is wanted. Seemed to cover a larger back area than the previous one I tried from my daugher. Fit me well, my short wife may need to sit on a pad to get things in just the right spot, but she said it got her lower back well. So we shall see (got it yesterday), but so far I’m pretty happy with it.
Took about 5 minutes to set this up. Super easy and everything worked great. I used the automatic setting and it provided a solid 10-15 minute massage which felt great.
It fits on the couch, my office chair and our kitchen chair! The neck support is great! Will buy another because I hate to share!!
No complaints, this works like a charm. Initially the motors were squeaky so that was really annoying and concerning but that was gone within 15 minutes. I’ve been sitting in this everyday for up to an hour. LOVE IT
Great at giving you a pummelling massage or great a giving you a gentler massage depending on how you position yourself on the back rest. The neck massage is my favourite as you can have it working the muscles that join your neck to your back(Traps)or move upwards towards the top of your head. Not to bothered about the seat massage but it’s there if you want it. Overall very happy with this massager, bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
You can’t beat the price! It’s like a super high quality massage chair but portable and way cheaper! Highly recommend!
This portable massage chair is super easy to use, and it works very well. I am impressed with the air intensity feature, and the adjustable neck roller. It’s a keeper for me.
So first on first try was I disappointed but once I just tried each function at a time I found it wonderful for my back. Air cushions are surprisingly effective but don’t use the vibration functions yet.
Good tips are
Use a cushion to sit on when using neck massager and make sure back massager is in its bottom position or it will dig into your back
Finally use a folded towel on lower back or even on spine
With patience you will find this a great product for your back
Slippery on leather couch.
Really works well but don’t use one setting for very long. Will cause soreness if you do that. Use the flip over pad on the neck part if you don’t have neanderthal neck muscles. Just Put it on auto, and you’ll find yourself very relaxed when it stops automatically. Great for insomniacs at bedtime.

I have bought many different massagers/brands over the years BUT this is by far the best and most effective on the market. It looks slick and elegant on any chair. Has great functionalities and options. This is the best ALL in ONE massager with heat and easy to use remote. Would recommend to ALL especially if you have back, shoulder or neck problems.
This is a pretty good massager. It seems well made and is not too heavy to move around. The massager nodes are very firm so my husband loves the amount of pressure but a more sensitive person could place a folded towel in between them and the nodes to soften the pressure if needed.
I would def recommend this to a family member or friend.
The product is good and provides relaxation to aching body. I used it after playing long hours of cricket and it gives great relaxation to the muscles. The heat feature is something very relaxing and soothing. They could have provided a pocket to keep the remote but overall a good product.
For the lower back works great. And the adjustable neck it’s perfect.
I wish it would have more types of movements for the back that just one circular move in one direction. At least the same that it has for the neck where you can change directions.
Heating works great. It takes a while to actually heat. But it does feel good.
Vibration feature it’s really pointless. Is very soft and I don’t really feel it does anything as far as relaxing. I’ve tried with and without vibration and I can’t tell the difference. Specially since you pay additional for this feature.
The airbags in the sides of the back are ok and you can feel the pressure a little bit, which I like. But The ones in the leg muscles are really pointless. I don’t feel the pressure or relaxation at all.
I tried three massage chairs. I suffer from chronic muscle contractures and pain. They were all rubbish. But this was a good stop-gap until I purchased a proper one for 2,000.
The neck massage with this chair is very deep, and intense. The best out of all the chairs I tested (homedics was just rubbish & Renpho came second).
The back massage is okay. Not at all sufficiently deep or hard, but that’s the case with all of them.
The other problem is the back massage track is way too short, so unless you’re 4 foot tall it’s not going to do your upper back. Or even your mid-upper back.
My solution to this was to lay it flat on the ground, and slide up and down it with the neck massage option turned off. This works if you weigh very little, and support some of your weight with your legs.
These chairs are all extremely poorly designed, and look like they won’t last. But, they do work out some knots (in a painful fashion) if you spend enough time on it.
Second to this I liked the Renpho chair. Much more stylish, portable & sturdier. But this chair definitely had the edge on the neck massage.
The remote is also good and simple on this.
None of the chairs offered a deep or hard enough back massage. Homedic was the worst.
For a slightly cheaper option Renpho was decent, lightweight and offered a good neck massage. And if laid flat on the ground offered a half decent back massage.
With all of them the massage balls simply do not protrude far enough for any of chairs to be effective in the upright position.
Ultimately these chairs are cheap, they look disposable, and the next step up is 10 times the price. So okay for what they are. However, it’s not going to replace a physio or a good massage.

I suffer with lower back pain from golf and this chair is incredible. A great feature is the ability to focus on the area with the remote control.

Fortunately, Snailax customer service is very quick to respond and is courteous and professional. They asked me to record a small video of the issue and once I did that, there were very quick to confirm their plans to replace the unit.
About this massager, the best thing about it is it’s quality and strength of the massages. Yes, it is true that the roller heads failed on me before a year was up, but with a great customer service and feedback process, I’m sure Snailax will be able to remedy any design or build related issues quickly for future editions of this massager. Will come back to update this review once I have a replacement in place and have used that for a few days.
When out of the country, I had trouble finding an affordable massage therapist. So, I purchased the two highest ranking massage chair pads to compare. They had almost identical features, only the other highly ranked one, had a rolling feature, but no neck adjustment feature. As I am 5’3″ (160cm), the head rollers fell on the middle of my head rather than on my neck! So, uncomfortable and clearly not helpful in relieving tension on my neck. Snailax’s chair pad, on the other hand, has an adjustable neck feature, so I returned the other one and kept Snailax’s. I also recommend this version that has the air compression. It really does make a huge difference!
If I had to identify a flaw, I’d say it automatically turns off after 15 minutes (probably to keep from overheating), which is probably actually good or I’d never stop to get back to work! LOL. I can attest to Snailax’s EXCELLENT customer service–they are astounding! I enjoyed my massage chair pad so much in the UK, that I bought the identical one for my US home. I use every day. After 3 months (probably b/c of frequent use), the neck rollers failed. But, after sending an email and a short video of the problem to Snailax, they immediately responded with a replacement within the week! I’ve never experienced such GREAT customer service!
When you can’t make it in to see a real person or want to save some cash, this is the next best thing! BUY IT!!! You won’t regret it!
This massage chair pad is just what I needed! Before the pandemic, I kept paying for the Planet Fitness Black Card just so that I could have access to the massage chairs post workout. Now that moved to where there’s no PF, I had to find something to relieve my back, neck, and shoulders. I’m so glad I found this Snailax Shiatsu massager.
It’s only been a week, and it has already been a tremendous help after long days of work and for post-workout massages. The portability is great. I can set it up on the couch in my living room or use it on my desk chair in my home office.
It delivers a strong massage. But, that’s how I typically like them. The controls provide a range of nice options of lower, upper, or full back massage with or without neck massage, heating, 3 types of vibration in the seat, and air compression. I am only 5′ 5″, so I do need a cushion to sit on to get a proper neck massage, which then dampens the seat vibrations. The only thing that could be an improvement is perhaps a strength setting for the different features (especially to lower it for those needing a “lighter touch” massage). But for this price, you really can’t beat it for all these features!

All the feature of this full body massage are fantastic. Excellent value for money. Very deep massage if used without blanket etc. takes all the pain away and leaves you feeling relaxed. highly recommend. Would buy different products in the future. Very happy with purchase.

I got this for back pain since I’ve been working from home. It’s been a life saver for lower back pain. Just get one!
Our previous massage chair pad was effective but rather harsh on the back. This one manages to strike the right balance between effectiveness and comfort. The heat function only serves the back and it would be an advantage to have that available for the neck and shoulders too. There are many other features which we have not yet explored fully.
I really only wanted this product for relaxation while watching my tropical fish and for that it is excellent. Once you start using it you don’t want to stop !!
Very easy to use. You’ll need a few seconds to get used with everything. Air massage is a great feature which I never saw before.
The product is light and cords to plug into the main sockets are reasonable length. The kneading works phenomenally well, focussing the neck muscles and vertical back and lumber massage. Its worth keeping one of these as this will let you relax after a hard days work. note also that these have heating elements which makes the experience even more satisfying.
