I bought these with the hope they might be at least OK, but actually they are really good. Obviously I’ve only had them in the garden for a short time, but the lights are quite bright and the charge lasts well into the early hours of the following morning. The lights have all been on colour and have a good range of changes. Fully recommended.

Bought these lights before and added more as they are so bright. Even when we don’t have a lot of sun they come on. Absolutely beautiful

Ordered these to attach to my fencing to provide low lighting of an evening.
Upon receipt they were packed really well and came with all the various fixings for wood or masonry.
After only 3-4 hours of charge they gave a really warm white glow which lasted for several hours and with additional benefit of a secondary mode which gently merges several colours, one after the other they give a pleasant alternative to normal mains powered lights.
One observation is that the screws would have looked better if jappened rather than galvanised as they do stand out against the black plastic housing.
It will be interesting to see how long they last for, but so far, really happy

I think these Solar Lights are excellent, only gripe is the button for setting the lights is a bit flimsy.

Easy to install, button on the side to switch on and change colour, lovely amount of light from them, apart from one that doesn’t want to work. It just about shows a dim but of light so I think it’s faulty, which is a real shame

    Materials:
    Plastic base.
    Rubber around on/off button.
    Solar Deck at the top.
    Built in Li-ion battery.

    Impressions:
    IP67 waterproof
    RGB/Warm white colour.
Only 4-5 hours of sunshine provides 10 hours of light at night.
    Compact & easy to glue/mount

    Remarks:
    Not very bright at night.
Only two colour options, warm white & RGB.

These solar fence lights are mainly made of plastic and are rated with IP68 (waterproof). The On/Off button has a rubber/silicone sleeve around it, to further protect it from water. They came charged which was nice, i like that they are compact and overall pretty easy to instal, especially with the provided double sided adhesives. My only remarks however are that they aren’t very bright and the colour options are only limited to two (white & RGB), in my opinion it would be nice if they can be set at blue/green or red only.

Overall it’s something that makes my terrace more cozy, however i’m not sure if 37.99 is the right pricing, feels a bit too much really. So far they have handled heavy rains & constant day sun without trouble, which proves they’re durable.

    Easy to mount, many colours.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought these as I didn’t want trailing wires (see neighbours garden in the picture). They are very easy to install, just two screws or there are adhesive pads if you prefer. A switch on the side to choose either white or colour.

Not sure whether to stick with colour or just have them white, but they are not bad on the colour settings and they change between red, blue, green and yellow.

If you have fencing like mine then they are perfect at the top, the solar part fits over the top edge of the panel so it gets plenty sun (when it appears) and they are quite bright at night.

Note: These are the lights on the top of the fence, the ones at the bottom are a different type.

Really pleased with these, no mess, simple to fit and work well

These lights arrive in such a tiny box that you wonder if they are all going to be in there, but they absolutely are and all packed in such a way to fit them all in side by side. There are 2 fixing types included in the box – screws and adhesive strips

Take of the protective plastic, switch them on, and they’re ready to go. You can choose from 2 different colour settings – White or colour changing. They look quite nice when they’re on with the bubble effect in the plastic lighting up. I’ve seen lights with similar effects before but these look nicer as they’re a little bigger and stand out more

I can’t really fault these at the moment, but one thing may be that the switch feels a little weak. It works fine and I haven’t had any issue but may fail if used loads (I’m likely to just leave them on one setting for ages though).
Another thing is that solar lights are always very hit and miss. Some last ages and other break extremely fast despite being advertised as ‘water resistant’. These are IP67 rated so hopefully they’ve been made well, but it’s hard to tell

Great so far, hopefully they last a long time as you’d expec

These are really good deck lights and they work really well. You just plop them where you want and you’ve got yourself a nicer looking garden. They charge through solar, and I’d recommend keeping them off for 1-2 days so they have a chance to fully charge up, that way they can sustain a charge and they’ll always stay on. One thing I don’t like is the fact that there is no way to make these all change colours in sync so they will all be out of sync. Therefore I prefer keeping it on the white mode, where only a single colour is shown. They have a nice weight to them and they secure very well and very easily.

Overall, if you’re looking for something to spice up your garden, I’d highly recommend these lights as they add a unique look. You can adhere these using double-sided tape or screw them in for a more secure mount. Very well made and thought out product.

The switch is well covered with silicone and is waterproof. You can chose to have single white colour or rainbow colour changed in sequence. Theyare good deco to garde

This was pretty much everything I expected it to be, from design, to size, to colours. They light up nicely and the sensor to turn them on/off automatically really helps preserve the power for when they’re needed. These look great hanging around the garden to keep it lit at night, although they’re not quite bright enough because in my opinion, they simply don’t have enough LEDs in them. My garden isn’t that big and it’s not even bright enough to shine to the middle.

The colours are very nice, and paired with the “bubble” design of the plastic block, they look very stylish and not as boring as just plain lights.

These do look to be water tight, so they should be waterproof as claimed, but will it only time will tell, as sometimes water damage isn’t instant and happens overtime due to little bits seeping in, which can be accelerated by the fact that it rains a lot in the UK.

Weirdly, five of these came with some power and one had no power at all for me to test, so I was concerned that one might have been broken, but upon putting it in some sunlight, it worked fine, so all units are fine, but weird how only one out of six had absolutely no power to even test on receiving them. Not a concern, but a thing to note for people who might receive ones that don’t turn on immediately.

Currently priced at 28.99 for a pack of 6, it works out to just under 5.00 per unit, so it’s not too expensive and are actually very price competitive, even though it might seem like a lot for some LED lights, but per unit cost, these are some of the cheapest. However, when it’s looked at how few LEDs are actually in each unit, it might not be that good in value, considering LEDs aren’t that expensive, and these really can do with a few more in to make the light brighter, hence why a star is knocked off. Otherwise, these are really good.

Overall, these are of great value and I would recommend these to anyone who are looking for lights like these to adorn their garden.

This product came in a much smaller box than I expected – however, despite their size, they still provide plenty of light, especially together. The lights have two lighting settings, warm, white light and RGB, which can be changed from the button on the light. Screws and sticky pads are included with the product so not really any need to buy extra stuff for these lights. The product states it’s both heatproof and waterproof which makes it suitable for keeping outdoors in most weather conditions. It’s a great set of small but powerful lights – would recommend!

Having some steps in garden that when going out towards that area to walk dog at night its dark. These simple to fit solar lights are ideal. Come with screws for a more secure fit but also comes with heavy duty double sided tape which is what I prefer. Also good if using the tape then deciding you want to change place where they are going easy enough to do.
I like the colours bright but not yet full brightness each day due to the weather. What I really like about them Os the size they are not big but dainty like and fit onto my blue stone steps well. They did seem to have some charge in them already when I switched them on but more solar power added with the sun over a few days later.
They even look good in the frost and snow too. Plus make that area safer no falling up the steps and quite a decorative touch to that area now. For me the price is one I think good as these are ideal in size for the area where I needed them any bigger and they would not have fit.

    Stunning solar lights

This is a pack of 6, beautifully designed solar lights. Clear front panels with a ‘bubbles’ type feature within. The front of this has a diamond kind of shape.

    The front panel is around 7cm x 8cm x 1.8cm. The top panel is around 4.5cm x 8cm x 0.3cm.

There is a rubber switch on the side of the front panel. This has –

Warm white – Off – RGB lighting

These solar lights take 4 to 6 hours to fully charge, this will last out 10 hours, which is quite good really for little lights.

There are installation accessories for you to mount them each to a wall, or you have the option of double sided, strong adhesive, tape strips, which is good if you wanted to add them without damaging something.

These work great. They auto come on at night, they go off when day breaks. They beautifully light up areas of your garden. I like that if I turn them on myself, they sync in and out of each other, so you get a beautiful parade of colours.

I would recommend them. I think they’re fantastic for the price. They look beautiful, I love the front panel shape, the bubbles within look lovely too.

    Stunning

These are really lovely little garden lights. They come neatly packed with both normal screw fixings as well as an adhesive option. Mine have gone onto the bare and boring garden fence, along the path. They are really pretty. So easy to install, then take off the plastic cover from the solar panel, and you are good to go. Even winter sunlight is enough to charge them up and the colours look absolutely brilliant at night. I love that you can change the colours and have different options, as it means we can use them as part of jazzing the garden up for parties and not just for a bit of gentle, ambient lighting.

  38. Anonymous says:

Those lights look very beautiful once installed, not sure about life span but will update my review accordingly.

If you are looking for a light source this isn’t it, it is more like a guiding light around the wall or stairs, just make sure you installing them in a sunny area as they need sunshine to charge the batteries. 4-5 hours of sunshine provides 10 hours of light at night. IP67 waterproof level ensures the durability in extreme weather conditions.

I am very happy with this order.

After some colourful (or just warm white) garden patio / fence lights? Get these!

These are the Mopha Solar Deck Lights x 6, each light measures just 3.15 x 1.85 x 2.68″ with a large plastic clear part and small upper solar panel.

With these lights you get a choice of either warm white or multi-colour fade (purple, blue, cyan, red, green and yellow), you can fix via sticky pads (provided) or screw in (provided with screwdriver). You will need a good 4-6 hours sun charge for 8-10 hours of display. These are both heatproof / waterproof, obviously and controlled via small switch on the side. Colour one way, white the other.

I really like these lights, as at first I thought they were quite small but once they get going they are a winner. Well recommended, and will install on our planters when the sunlight gets a bit better!

So long as you put these somewhere they’ll get the sun, these are great. Not the best time to test these during the winter, so I’ve made allowances.
There’s a little switch to the side, encased in rubber, middle setting off, one side warm white, the other side it’ll cycle through the colours. Whichever you choose there’s a decent glow to these. Glow is probably the right word, they’re markers, not floodlights.
They give a nice effect, sure they’ll help if you’re walking along an otherwise dark path, but it’s more the aesthetic than quantity of light.
Add a little something to the garden.

  44. Anonymous says:

The lights all come packed in a very small box, I was actually quite surprised how small the box was but they all fitted in nicely, also included in the box are fixings and a small screwdriver or the alternate stick strips to use instead. At the moment I have just put them on a wall in the back garden and not either the strips or fixings to test and they have stayed put on the wall. I will probably use the sticky strips just to secure them a bit for harsh weather.
To operate you just peel off the protective strip from the top of the solar strip and switch on, you can choose either white, RGB changing or switch them off.
The lights themselves are really nice, they have a subtle effect but it looks great along the wall in the garden, where I have them currently placed. I have to say that the lights are bright but not bright enough to really lighten a garden or anything like that they are just there for the cool effect and it looks great, especially the bubbles inside.
The light shines down onto whatever surface you have put them on and in the dark is effective and really cool, it’s nice you have two modes as the constant switching of the RGB maybe annoying for some, it’s a bit of a shame you can’t just stick on a different colour other than white, it’s either white or changing colours.
The one weakness I have found is the switch, it’s fine and it is protected with a rubber outside but it does feel a little flimsy, over time it may cause an issue but I guess after you have set the mode you will just leave these.
The lights have a charge time of 4-6 hours and 8-10 hours work time when the light is dark enough, they are also waterproof which means they can stay outside without issue.

    Pros:
    – Waterproof
    – Look great
    – All fixings included and screwdriver
    – Easy to use
    – Built in battery included

    Cons:
    – Switch is not the best quality
    – Can’t leave the lights on just one colour apart from white

A really effect set of colourful lights

This Solar Deck Lights (6 Pack) has the feels of resin fused with a solar-powered LED light.

It’s easy to install and operate. It comes with all fixtures needed to drill it. What’s best is it’s water-resistant suitable for outdoor.

It’s relatively smaller than I expected. The solar panel only measures around 3.5x 5.5cm, which for me is quite small tho it’s proportional with the single LED light per unit it came with. It’s best to fix this on an area where it can get natural light efficiently, as it will determine how long it can stand when it gets dark.

It has two options to choose from, warm light and RGB. It’s not like some solar-powered lights I have that can automatically turn on when it’s dark. With this, you must turn it on manually.

Don’t expect that it’s bright enough to light a significant area as it has only one LED per unit. It’s more decorative tho. I find it lovely and suitable in any outdoor area where you can drill it.

Even if it has its flaws, I still find it fit for its purpose.

I really like these sturdy, robust-feeling little lights. The solar panels are built in to the tops, there is a switch on the side of each light allowing it to be switched off (centre), set to colour changing, or to warm white. I like both colour options, and will use them both. Although small — each light contains a single LED — the clear plastic, bubble-filled panel at the bottom helps to amplify the output of the single LED in each. They’re not hugely bright, but pretty effective for small lights, and because there is only a single LED in each the solar, battery-powered charge lasts well. These came with an initial pre-charge that lasted far beyond when I went to bed on the first night I set these running. On the second day, these powered up at about half past three and ran for a solid couple of hours — even in truly terrible, mid-Winter weather. In Spring/Summer, they should be really pretty good.

I realised after receiving these that I couldn’t use them quite as I’d intended. I’d planned to hard affix them (using the supplied fixings) to the top of one of the walls between tiers in our garden. The walls between levels in our garden are made from quite thin pieces of (naturally crumbly) Cotswold stone, which potentially aren’t deep enough to be drilled in to. However the lights seem fairly heavy and sturdy enough that they might survive simply sitting on top of the wall – it’s a low height wall, so not somewhere they’re likely to blow off, even in our windswept garden. Haven’t checked this yet (couldn’t find my tiny screwdriver bit set), but there are screws on the backs of each light, so it looks as though the battery power sources are accessible and will be capable of being replaced when they cease being able to recharge properly. More plastic packaging than necessary: each light had a plastic film over its solar panel on delivery, and the fixings were separately plastic wrapped for each light.

We just left on our fence and they can just stand on their own without any stickers or screws . Nice colours and very strong in waterproof.. we had snow today and they work just fine. I have to say, these are rather impressive little lights. They’ve very low power, so should stay on all night once the weather improves. They consist of a small white or colour changing LED, which illuminates a large perspex block with bubbles in it. The effect is really good.

I initially ordered these to put on my back garden fence, however I’ve now decided that they may be better suited to the wall down my front steps. The lights will look nice at night and will help make the steps visible. I’ve not been able to put any LED step lights in as they usually get stolen, however these are fitted by 2 screws, which I’ll be able to drill into the wall at the side.

These are a fantastic idea and even come with a set of screws and Rawl plugs. I definitely recommend these, as a huge fan of solar garden lighting.

I’ve dropped 1 star due to the lack of a switch on two of the lights. They’re luckily both fixed on white light, but there’s no way to turn them off or to colours.

Impressive design. Great for fences or step edges

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSmall “ice cube” solar lights for the edge of decking or fences.
The lights are designed to hang over the edge of something, be that decking or a fence, with the solar panel on the top and the light part hanging down. They are fixed with either a double sided pad (provided) which goes under the top panel on the light and on to the top of the hanging point or with two screws ( provided) which fit through two fixing holes on the front of each light. Either choice of fixing is quick and easy, but the screws are more secure and will last longer than a sticky pad.
There is a choice of coloured lights or warm white- I prefer the warm white personally.
The lights, like all solar lights work best in sunny days and when situated in full sun, with a full charge you get 8-10 hours, in winter months with shorter, greyer days you will get an hour or so before they flicker and then go out.

When lit they are pretty with an ice cube look to them ( thanks to the bubbles in the resin) they also give out a good amount of light, not enough to light up a big area, but enough to drop your eye and make you aware of the edge of your decking and save you tripping over it.

    Pretty solar lights
