looking for a simple cctv for my caravan and this works perfectly. have had to ajust the sensitivity due to tabbits running around throughout the nihht.
I bought this as i already had then door bell so wanted something that would work with the same Awit app, I simply contacted customer services thought the app and they sent me a link to this product . It’s perfect as it’s solar panel charges it during the day so no need to messs about with batteries and it was so easy to put up, it just took me 10 minutes to connect to my app and srew to the wall. The product is well made and great value for Money . I would highly recommend this produc
I have been using Aiwit products and there app for over a year now, there products and app is fantastic so I have recommended them to all my family and friends and who have brought and use and the also say the love the app and the products. I have compared it with Ring products and I have to say Aiwit beats them as Aiwit products are a fraction of the price with most of the features on the device and app are the same as the Ring products. And to say their 24/7 customers support is fantastic. Thank you Aiwit.
In the winter you will have to charge this with the cable… definitely.
Apart from that for the price I am not disappointed. The app is very very easy to use and add devices to. The notification trigger within seconds of motion. Great camera easy to install and like I say easy to use, it sets itself up you just have to follow the audible guide.
My first security camera. Works well with iPhone easy to install. I’ve not attached solar yet as battery still 85% after 1 day But kids was playing in back garden and was loads of videos
Works well good price bought it in the sale conection was straight forward
The solar panel struggles to charge the camera battery on a cloudy winter’s day with reduced hours of daylight.
A very clear, wireless camera, with the benefit of solar charging. Fully recommend
Even though there is a little bit of a delay sometimes, it depends on how fast my WIFI is, this camera is great. value for money. And free cloud storage is way much better than using a SIM card. Make sure your WIFI is fast and stable, otherwise it may cause a delay. Works great in the day and night. Only had to charge it up when I first got it and it recharges on its own throughout the day with the sun. The motion sensor is accurate and sensitive. Great customer service, respond fast. Much cheaper than a big brand, I can compare it to my Ring Security System. Highly RECOMMEND it.
First impressions of this product are really good. It was mega easy to set up. The picture is day and night are very good. The only issue I have is that is a bit slow to respond to “live” camera. However as I already have a video doorbell and only want to use this as playback for security this isn’t an issue to me and the benefits of it are worth it. I’ll use it for a while and edit my review with the battery life and the solar panel but if it’s anything like the doorbell they use there will be no issues.

I’ve been useing the camera for 2 days now and its brilliant knowing with 1 click i know everything is safe and if anyone is around.
I use it with my aiwit door bell for extra security. the solar pannel charger is another feature so if your away you know you’ve always got power. get your selves 1 of these cameras your be hard pushed to beat it and its value for money.

The solar panel overcomes this issue, as long as you give a decent starter charge. The battery unit is similar to the Ring version. It’s been on 100% since installation despite being in shaded area in bad weather, albeit with light use. The panel could also double as off grid mobile charger etc. as it uses a mini-USB connector, which has a retractable sheath to protect from weather.
I installed under a wooden soffit to avoid the hassle of drilling, and also shield from weather. But first check your wifi connection is strong enough in the chosen location (It paired very quickly and easily and intuitively, but you might need to adjust the router to broadcast in 2.4 – sometimes your wi-fi is set to both 2.4/5GHz and works fine, but one router I had to adjust the settings – you might have to google that bit if you get stuck). Also I might adjust direction so it points away from the white wall it is on, as this tends to flood the view on night vision, making other areas too dark. Picture otherwise great.
It detects movement well (sensitivity can be adjusted by range but not direction) and sends through alerts promptly (better than Ring free service in my experience) and they are stored free for 7 days. You can also peek in anytime and play back audio and speak, although the speaker volume is not loud.
Installation is super easy – 5 screws in total to hold the unit and the solar panel, and that’s it. And both screw/slide off their brackets easily. Decent length of wire to connect between them too – I wouldn’t worry about getting the solar panel in a perfect position for the sun – it doesn’t need much power, as long as you charge it fully to start (I hung the wire over an overflow pipe in the photos). I would definitely buy again if installing somewhere with no power supply, but if you have a power supply you might prefer something with a floodlight included.

They have put a lot of thought into the design too, and making it easy to put up with only a couple of screws to bolt it to the wall.
I love the aiwit app, easy to connect, simple interface. This is my 3rd camera added to the app. No connection issues or anything. I find the motion detection sharp as a knife. Crisp packets rolling down the road get detected! It’s really sensitive.
I’m really happy with this item. It’s a bargain for the quality you get.
I’d recommend it to everyone looking for more security without the huge cost of paying a company.

It starts it’s capture pretty quickly after detecting movement, where some cameras can take too long.
Video quality is good and night vision seemed ok.
You get 3 days rolling cloud storage too, which is a good thing, although there’s no ability for an SD card, so if the cloud service ends for whatever reason, then the camera become obsolete.
The Aiwit App is ok – nothing special but does the job.
The solar panel seemed well made. The camera, although looking as though it was well put together, didn’t look to me like it could withstand the ravages of a UK winter, but that’s just my opinion.
The camera (I think) is best suited as a doorway monitoring system and not a CCTV system.
If everything you want to monitor is within 4 meters of the camera, then it might suit you.
For me, if I installed the camera on the front of my house, it wouldn’t reach the cars parked in the driveway and my driveway is right in front of the house.
Another thing I’d like is being able to capture more than 15 seconds of footage – you don’t get the option (as with some other cameras), to select the length of the footage. Support told me if there was still movement, then it would capture a 2nd video, but would anything be lost between Vid1 and Vid2? Dunno, I didn’t test it that far.
Anyhow, you probably guessed, I had to send this camera back as it wasn’t fit for my purpose of monitoring the front of my house, but I’ve given it 4 stars as it would make a good doorway monitoring system.
camera working and up on wall within minutes. Would have liked camera to have
a s.d card for backup

I wasimpressed with it, I ordered this wireless home security cameraand it came the next day. It’s very esay to set up,The app is really easy to use.
GreatPIR mode with good range and low light performance and has movement detection and stores vids.
With this CCTV camera, I can talk to anyone who shows up at my front door remotely from the APP in my phone, which is very convinent.
My main use is the night time recording and the quality of night vision is fab. Also the solar panel means very little maintenance.

What I liked about the camera is it’s a completely self-contained unit with the device connecting to my wireless router and receiving a charge its solar panel, so no need to run an ethernet cable for PoE. The solar panel comes with a hard-wired cable about 5m long so it can be installed in the best place to receive daylight whilst the camera can be situated some distance away such as a poorly lit alley.
The camera has excellent night-vision capability and includes an array of IR LEDs around the lens to illuminate its view. It also has a mic and speaker allowing remote two-way communication, albeit with a second or two delay.
There is a large removable rechargable battery and if you’re the sort of person who doesn’t read manuals like me, you may get caught out by the plastic battery cover and I wasted a couple of hours with it plugged in wondering why it wouldn’t charge.
Because I already use the Aiwit app, I was quite familiar with the set-up procedure, which is quite straightforward. You enter your wifi login details in the app which then generates a QR for the camera to scan when in pairing mode. The camera then connects to your wifi network and beecomes visible as an additional device to access within the app.
The app provides free cloud storage for the last seven days of videos, or you can pay to upgrade for upto a rolling 60 days’ worth. You can also manually save individual videos of interest to your phone.
In conclusion, this camera is an easy to install, single box solution to add piece of mind, security, and protection to my family and property.
