Notes:

I disliked that it didn’t come with a USB wire adapter because the lights (Led) wire is pretty short So you can’t Plug it in to the xbox at the same time but thankyou Great headset I’d recommend extending the length of the USB wire for the led lights
Arrived quickly and the headset is great. Thought a right speaker had gone after a week and was about to refund but turns out it was just the video I was watching didn’t put the right channel sound on so glad to say I’ve had no issues with it so far! Also love the design the LEDs look great and it even comes with a lead in the box to connect to PC.
Highly recommend this headset, I use it primarily on Xbox and to watch movies and works perfect for both
My ONLY complaint would be that the padding is a bit narrow for glasses users but that’s a common problem unless you buy specific glasses friendly headset so can’t really hold it against them, I’m hoping to look and see if this brand does do glasses friendly ones as this would be the perfect headset if it did.

My son wanted these so he could talk to his friends whilst online gaming. He loves the, the fact they have lights is an added bonus.. The cable for the lights and headphones is split at the bottom but there’s only about an inch of wire after the split. It doesn’t bother him but it might be an issue for others.

Great headset but the usb cable that you are supposed to use for to make the lights in the headset function is really short.
You can plug the communication jack lead into the controller, this is fine it’s long enough not to cause any issues. However to make the light function work there is a second lead with a male usb plug you need to plug into the console. This isn’t long and my child had to put his head down really low to have both functions operating simultaneously. So you will need a usb extension cable !? This is not explained in the description. Pity really apart from that they’re great.

My son absolutely loves this headset. Annoyingly these were no real instructions for a switch. But we eventually worked it out. My son loves the LED’s and they have saved us having all his friends ring the house to see where he is in Fortnight! Lol

The only misfortune is that to get the rgb effect, you have to plug in the USB-only issue with that is the USB wire is too short,other than that it’s a good headset.
As my title explains everything. Works but the led lights don’t work. I’ve done everything I can think of but nope. Otherwise the product does what is supposed to do…
Had many set of headphones none have been as good as these, as my kids love gaming and communicating with each other from their different rooms, these are great quality.
Sound is very clear through both the microphone & headset and background noise is suppressed.
Would definitely recommend.

The mic functions well and seems to be reasonably clear, the sound quality is ok but not the best that I’ve listen to, however, for the price you probably won’t get anything better

Noise is loud and quality is fine but complain for the price, also fit is amazing and comfy. My only gripe is that the lights don’t work when plugged into ps5 controller but I’m loving it so far other than that.
My son is super happy with these have a noise cancellation effect to them extremely comfortable, sound quality and mic is very good. Would recommend to anyone with a gaming child.
I chose this Soulbytes Gaming Headset to replace an older set that was uncomfortable and didn’t have a mute button. I also liked the RGB feature and the price was right. It’s very attractive and the colors are cool. There is a button on the controller (see pic) to vary the colors or have them remain fixed or off if you prefer. The same controller also has a volume control and a mute switch. The headset is more comfortable than my old one so my ears don’t hurt anymore after a few hours of gaming, but they aren’t as comfy as I had hoped. Can’t complain though, it’s not bad. The sound is adequate at best. It has no bass or boom to it and sounds pretty tinny and cheap. It’s not terrible, but if you’re looking for awesome sound, keep shopping. Speaking of sound, I’ve noticed that when the RGB colors are set to change, there is an odd sound that can be heard. At first, I thought my neighbor was using a leaf blower or something until I realized it was coming from the headset. It cannot be heard if you’re listening to something like music or you’re in game, but when quiet, it’s quite noticeable. You can get rid of this noise by setting the colors to the fixed setting or turning the RGB off. The microphone is highly adjustable to a fault. It’s flexible, a little too flexible if you ask me so the slightest bump moves it out of position. The guys I play with say I sound okay on it. It lights up green (see pic) when the mic is on. Overall, for the money, this is a descent headset, just don’t expect things like great sound or extreme comfort.

Tested fine on PS4 and PC
This has been used for squad games on PS4 without issue. Audio quality is good. Mic quality from squad mates is better than basic mic that comes with the PS4 and better than others we have tried.
The gaming lights only work when power is provided through the USB so no lights for PS4 gaming. This is fine – don’t really need and somewhat ambivalent about the lighting anyway.
We have not scored this 5 stars because we don’t like how that is a USB and normal mic jack attached at the same time rather than an adapter. This means that for the PS4 the USB hangs loose and it’s a bit annoying. If you want power and controller connectivity you’ll probably really like this feature.
Though we have scored higher than others (4 stars) as the mic quality is the best we have tried – according to squad mates hearing my side of the conversation.
At time of review this cost ??? currently unavailable so no price, which grinds my gears, if I’m looking for something and it doesn’t have a price, I’m not coming back to your product!
Okay, daughter reviewing these as she’s a gamer.
First off the lights don’t work on PS4 or any console, but they do work when plugged into the PC, hmm??
They are big and chunky and don’t sit right on her ears, but she may get used to them as she normally wears smaller, gaming ones.
Sound quality, if these are under 30, is good.
If you need a cheap and cheerful set then these could be what you’re looking for.
Now for the cosmetic look / appearance of this headset… the LED lights are good and have a small few modes to them, from static, through to slow flash, then quick flash and chase. They are basic RGBs but they still loog good. There is an added bonus in that there is an LED for the mic so when the mic is in use it is obvious as the light is lit so one won’t make any errors and say something that is unintentionally heard by others..
Apart from the audio and the lights, this headset is very comfortable to wear with no sound leakage from the ear pads as they sit tightly but softly and comfortably against the ears.
I am recommending this Gaming Headset as it is good quality, it works well (depending on one’s hardware), the lights look very good and it is very comfortable thus it is good value.
Setting aside the impressive aesthetics, the headset itself is really impressive – while not active noise-cancelling, the ear pads do such a good job at wrapping around your ears that they do cut out an awful lot of background ambient sounds, such as computer fans and the like. The headband carries a really large foam padding cushion that again adds to the comfort and means you can wear the headset for hours without issue.
Audio quality seems really good with a nice range and not tinny and gutless like a lot of other headsets I’ve tried – microphone quality is also much better than expected and perfect for online gaming or Discord etc.
The playback quality is great too , so if you are a gamer (I’m not) you’ll likely enjoy the sound effects of your game.
The headset is very adjustable for size and it’s comfortable because of the big padded earpads.
The RGB lighting is a cool touch for those who like it. Since I can’t actually see the lighting when I’m wearing the headset I’m not bothered personally, but it is cool though.
Much better headset than I was expecting, to be honest.

A full frequency response, which I could hear a lot of (I produce audio as well)
I tested the mic on PC and had noise, but tested on phone and didn’t. I think my mic settings on the laptop are out of whack so I found that pretty impressive in the end.
Nice comfortable ear pads.
The lights are cool.
The switch for the mic and a volume dial on the block is handy.
Music sounded pretty decent, and I tested this with some old school jungle – yup, I could hear the sub, but it wasn’t rumbly – just audible. But at this price point, that’s not bad really.
The mic adjustment is the easiest I’ve used, moves to easy – (I wonder if it could do with being a little longer though)
The not so good:
They do feel like they could uncomfortable for long term wear, I am a casual gamer, not a problem
The mid-range and treble lose a bit of clarity for me, they’re never really tinny which is a bonus as I absolutely despise that in headphones, and the bass isn’t that bassy – but it is clear to hear.
There are some considerably cheaper versions out there also getting great reviews, and being honest, they look like they might be quite similar – the aesthetics look different – some look better, but they do have the feel of the lots of re-sellers of similar products. (I COULD BE WRONG WITH THESE).
As it seems with many gaming headsets, plugging into a laptop AND having the lights on relies on you having one of two things:
1. Your USB port is on the same side, and quite close to the headphone input – which mine is NOT. The USB powers the lights, so it’s not essential for us, but come on – you buy a headset with lights on YOU WANT LIGHTS ON, right?
2. You happen to have a USB hub next to the side of the laptop where the headphone output is… this I DO have. So it’s a workaround, but not ideal As I say, this appears a common design on these and frankly, it’s a bit ridiculous. Fine generally for PCs, but anything else and it can be awkward.
Overall, I’m really happy with them, I think they feel a little plasticky and cumbersome (bear in mind my field is audio production headphones, not gaming headphones though) as they are pretty large – I used a standard-sized coaster to demonstrate.
I hope they last though because they’re going to be getting plenty of use from me!
So – with the large nature, a bit plasticky, seeing other models cheaper, I’ve awarded this a very respectable 4 Stars.
