We brought this helper stall for my son for Christmas. It was very easy and quick to put together and is very study! He is going to get lots of use out of it as he loves to climb into it tp help out.
Very sturdy. Quick to assemble. My 17 month old struggles a bit to climb in and out of it but I think practice and she will get there. Glad I purchased this
Excellent product, and customer services were brilliant sending us a replacement bolt free of charge. Would highly recommend.
Easy to install
Wipes down easily without scuffing paint
Good quality
Sturdy and safe
My toddler loves it and it has made cleaning and cooking much easie
Unlike some other models for sale which are very fine wood and Will collapse after a month or a child pulling it along the floor. This is very sturdy and good thick wood with pre-cut joints to help the wood slot into place then you tighten with the bolts it’s. Trust me this is much better compared to some of the cheaper models which people are buying which will collapse after a few months of wear and tear are pulling along with kitchen, your child safety is most important. Very happy with the purchase.
The step up gives the toddler excellent access. It goes under the work surface so does not take up space when not being g used.
Wanted to get our daughter access to kitchrn tops but as first time parents nervous about her falling and hitting her head. This is the perfect solution. Robust, easy to put together and blends in with the kitchen. She loves climbing in and out – only problem is she gets jealous of the cats when they sit on it!
We researched a learning tower for quite a while and the prices ranges are so different from product to product. We are so glad we chose to spend a bit more on this
Ladder as it’s just perfect: sturdy and a great quality. It makes cooking so much easier as our lo can be up at the surface rather than crying to be picked up.
One of the best things I ever bought for my daughter (she’s 18 months). It gives her such independence and inclusivity in the kitchen. Was afraid it could be flimsy but it’s so sturdy and extremely easy to put together!
This is a really lovey item. My only complaint is that the instructions weren’t that easy to follow but we figured it out. It’s really sturdy and I can’t wait for my 15 month old (confident walker) to try it out! I’m hoping it will stop him screaming when I’m in the kitchen fixing dinner and can’t pay attention to him!
Best thing ever. My lad loves it. Climbs up on his own and back down on his own. Annnd then moves it all over the kitche
Looked at a lot of toddler towers and picked the StepupBaby primarily for its look – we have to have it in the kitchen all the time after all! It was easy to assemble and it’s nice and compact, but also feels very sturdy without having to have a large footprint to trip over in the kitchen. 2yo has already learnt how to get in and out by herself.
Great thing, honestly it keeps the littles ones from trying to climb up your leg.
But it comes at such a hefty price.
Our child always wants to be involved, so from a young age we had this tower for them to help in the kitchen. It fits under a breakfast bar for storage and allow them to be part of the action on the kitchen and learn to cook. This is vital for their learning. It is easy for them to climb in and out and the guard rail prevents them falling.
This tower is perfect for my toddler to access the kitchen worktops. She learned to use it instantly!
The only problem is that it was very sloppy in bare feet as well as socks so I have had to attach some non slip material on the step she stands on and had to buy some sticky pads for the feet so she can’t push it away from the side. There are some great value furniture pads on Amazon too.
My son loves the independence this product gives him and I love being able to involve him in cooking and washing the dishes, without having to worry about him falling off a chair. Best buy.
This learning tower is absolutely brilliant. My 18 month old granddaughter learned how to climb up by herself very quickly and absolutely loves it. So much safer when we cook together than the chair we were using before. She hasn’t quite worked out how to get down by herself yet but she’s only had it a couple of days. Sadly I managed to order the uncoated finish one by mistake so I’m going to have to varnish it as it will get stained very quickly.
Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Der Lernturm ist robust, wurde sehr schnell geliefert, die Hhe kann man verstellen, sieht super aus. Unsere Kleine von 1 Jahr hat sehr viel Spa damit.
Decent item, does the job. Fit and finish is not perfect, as usual with these made in china items, but it’s ok and does the job decently well.
The tower is a really good purchase for us even though other brands were a little cheaper. The design is very straightforward and uncluttered. The plywood used means that the wooden surfaces are smooth and slender, and overall the tower is light enough to be moved very easily when needed. Even in our small kitchen, the tower isn’t getting in the way. Our toddler worked out how to get in and out straight away and so it’s allowed us to prepare food in the kitchen without holding him in our arms. He likes to eat snacks standing in the tower rather than in his wooden high chair, and this is easier for us too. Overall highly recommended.
Great product. Well made and my grandson loves being able to help. I love the fact he’s safe.
This is a fantastic product that my daughter has been using ever since she could stand up. She is now almost 3 and uses it regularly to this day. It’s a great way to get your children involved with helping around the kitchen and the activities on higher surfaces.
The kitchen tower was delivered as expected. The box had a big hole in it, but the material inside was not damaged.
The predrilled holes on the step were off at one side, but the step goes in each of the positions just fine, the side piece is uneven front to back, though, by about an eighth of an inch. The other side is fine.
The chair also wobbles a bit, so it must be a bit shorter on the front right. My grandson found that out right away! It isn’t the floor, because I’ve moved it all around the house and it always wobbles the same direction.
With all that, it is a terrific chair. My grandson learned quickly how to get into the steps by himself. It is fun having him at the counter to help prepare meals or wash up. The chair will get a lot of use.
Overall I like the product, although I have to watch my 18-month old like a hawk when she’s in it (possibly still a bit too young for it). When assembling, one of the pieces cracked and I dont want to return as I’d have to de-assemble the whole thing and then build it all up again. Quige disappointing, and very expensive for what it is.
Update: seller posted two new parts to replace the damaged one.
Really good product. It’s good quality, sturdy and is much safer then using a chair. The only annoying thing about it is it has a branded sticker on the side. It may not bother some people but it bothers me. It is a permanent piece of furniture in your kitchen and I am sure you would not want to have a giant branded sticker on your kitchen table stating the store name where it came from for example. It is just annoying and not easy to get off without potentially damaging the paint. That being said I still recommend the product. My child is 2 and it will last for several years to come
My 2 year old loved this. He uses it many times each day. It has revolutionised meal prep time. It is pricey, but absolutely worth it.
An amazing product my daughter loves it and it’s really helped her to be involved in the kitchen. The Best Buy I’ve made in a long time!
Product was great my grandson loves that he can help Mummy in the kitchen. Highly recommend
This is great and looks like it was made for our kitchen.
We did have an issue with one of the screws and a hole was kids-drilled so had to order a replacement but the new one was fine.
I have had this item for little over 1 year now and I am quite satisfied with it. That said the item is not perfect.
Pros
+ Solid build, will not break easily
+ Adjustable height
+ About the right weight
Cons
– Poor assembly instructions and it seems not much thought has been put into ease of assembly
– Somewhat imprecise build quality. Needed to use a lot of force to put this thing together
– Our toddler got into the habit of climbing on the frame and leaning to the side. In such a situation the thing is likely to topple, even if the child is very light (<9 Kg). If it did topple, the consequences could have been catastrophic. I modified the feet to have 15 cm square wooden pads to make it more difficult to topple but I think there should be a safety mechanism built into the product.
Really pleased with this product. It was easy to assemble, probably took half an hour max. My daughter is almost two and I feel confident that she’s safe enough stood in this. I haven’t noticed any issues with the paint coverage on mine, nor does it wobble like some of the reviews report. In terms of sturdiness it’s fine, it is fairly lightweight but it’s still strong. Very similar to my Stokke high chair in terms of what it’s made from and weight etc. Light enough to move easily around the kitchen but sturdy enough to feel safe. I did have an issue with one of the parts not fitting quite right so I emailed the seller and the customer service was fantastic. I emailed on a Sunday evening, not expecting a reply until Monday at least but they came back to me that evening and arranged to send a replacement out in the post ASAP. The part arrived as promised and was very well packaged to protect it in the post.
Absolutely love this! My 3 year old loves it too and is by my side at every meal prep and also insists on washing up (woohoo!) before she’d sit on the worktop but I was always worried about her falling off so this gives her sight of what is happening whilst staying safe. Great buy!
What a brilliant little learning tower. It arrived well on time, packed really well with no damages. The pieces itself was very easy to out together. It comes with all the necessary tools to put it together. There is an instruction leaflet which is easy to follow.
My son is 1 and he absolutely loves using it. He learnt how to climb up onto it within 2 goes, and now as soon as we go to the kitchen counter or sink, he will push the learning tower to where he wants it and climbs up himself. It entertains him for so long, and gives us time to cook without having to be interrupted and having to constantly look after him and pick him up. He is learning how to be helpful in the kitchen too.
The tower is very steady. It doesn’t slip easily so you don’t need to put carpet under it. It does not wobble. The wood is painted glossy type so water and other stuff can easily be wipes off without leaving any stains. It is a very good product for the price. There are some crazy expensive ones our there which I just cannot justify considering a product like this exists for this price. Must buy!!
I bought this for my grandson, he loves being in the kitchen now, a proper little Mummy’s helper. My daughter absolutely loves it too, rather than having him running around in the kitchen into all sorts of mischief, he’s up there right next to her where she can keep an eye on him.
So, in a nutshell – fantastic buy !
Bought this recently as my little boy was desperate to help out in the kitchen and get involved.
So far, very happy with the product. Very sturdy and secure.
Really good bit of kit nd our toddler loves it we have already cooked washed pots and baked
perfect for my Mr 16 month. very sturdy and easy to assemble
Very easy to put together. Happy with it. Great peace of mind.
Great step, easy to assemble and solid. Looking for something to complain about I would say that some of the cuts felt a little under finished and rough to the touch. Its honestly a tiny niggle that and something that I could easily fix with a few moments and some sandpaper.
Absolutely great as a safe way for a toddler to be counter height. Paid a bit more for the grey version to match my highchairs and kitchen, but be warned it is not grey as pictured. See my pic next to my grey highchair, cabinets, and floors. It is more baby blue-grey. Disappointed about that.
This has made such a difference to enable our 2 yr old Goddaughter join in, particularly in the kitchen. Great too, that it has 3 adjustable height.
Received on Sunday and my two year old has already mastered getting in and out of the tower, helped preparing breakfast and tea
Our baby loves using this tower in the kitchen! She learned to climb in and out very quickly.
Only downside is that the white paint come off slightly, but it’s been used a lo
This has been such a good purchase. They aren’t a cheap item to buy but my son has used it a lot so he can help me with cooking, baking and playing in the sink or with toys on the kitchen counter.
It’s good quality and gives peace of mind to parents as the child is safe from falling out. The platform can also be adjusted down as the child grows so I can see we will get plenty of use from this in years to come
My 17 month old learnt to get in and out of this toddler tower by himself within 1 day! He runs into the kithen and shoots in it to see whats going on. He loves to stand up in it and eat his snack, as now he is getting difficult to wrestle into the high chair at short snack times. He also loves to stand and do the washing up.
Would 100% reccomend this product. It has changed the way we interact with our toddler in the kitchen. He can be involved in cooking and baking and can do all sorts of activities (drawing, playdoh ect) on the worktop whilst I am busy cooking…as we all know that toddlers don’t like to sit down!
The best thing I could have bought to my son. We love this.
This is lovely but my daughter (19 months) can’t get the hang of ducking her head under to climb onto it. It’s not a problem as we lift her in and out instead for the moment but we want her to gain independence so we will persevere with showing her what to do. I have seen some that don’t have the bar across the top making it easier for them to be independent (but of course that’s probably less secure for them). It is quite expensive for something that is probably quite easy to manufacture. The instructions were easy to follow. My 9 year old niece and I built it really quickly.
Fairly easy to put together. Our little one loves to be at the same height as us whilst we are busy in the kitchen so this has been great. Would recommend. Our 15 month old can easily climb in and out, when she’s stood up it seems safe and sturdy.
Now my daughter is used to this – she loves to climb in and out.
She can see whats going on in the kitchen tops (and plays with her play kitchen much more purposefully now)
She “helps” chopping and mixing, doing the washing up and she’s not even 2 yet!!
I can busy myself in the kitchen knowing that not only is she right there helping but she’s not going to step back and slip off like she would a chair.
The peace of mind is worth the money but it also looks lovely and, wipes clean easily
I had to contact them for a replacement bar as one split on assembly. They were very helpful and quick.
Great for my 20 month old Grandson. He can now help at my kitchen island and play in the sink! He loves it. It is easy to move around so we will also use it outside and in the greenhouse.
Does exactly what I need. Fits right under kitchen surface . Big enough platform for toddler to reach a wide work surface area but not so big she is strolling about. Different levels will be helpful in the future. Could be finished better with varnish. Paint is light and I’m sure will be stained soon.
Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Light enough that my 18mo old can move it around the kitchen himself. Perfect size for him to navigate up and down himself, no accidents or falls.
He loves being up on our level. It’s been a lifesaver in terms of getting stuff done.
Simple design but so useful – started using it when my son was about 18 months, and although I was nervous he might fall through the gaps, it’s totally fine and he quickly worked out how to climb up and down. Imagine he’ll be using it daily for a while, normally one meal a day has to be eaten standing at the kitchen counter (he will no longer use a high chair, or even stoke steps), so it’s become an essential item. Other reviewers are correct about the paint quality not being perfect but it doesn’t matter.
I looked at a lot of different (and more expensive) z kinds of learning tower before buying this, and I’m very happy with my choice. Easy to assemble, feels very safe and, best of all, my 2.5 year old loves it!
My child likes to stand on it and watches how I cook breakfast for him. He is not even 1 year old yet, so I always nearby him when he is on this chair. It is steady so when he will be older and be ready to climb down himself it won’t be a problem.
My 2 year old loves his new tower and so do I! Super easy to assemble despite my toddler doing his best to make it hard and it seems really sturdy and well made and sits neatly up against our kitchen sides and isn’t too big/heavy to get in the way or move easily around. Would definitely recommend.
Great product, just the job. Only downside was it was a little clunky to assemble, but got there in the end. Perfect for my toddler to see what’s going on on the counter tops.
The tower looks great and feels sturdy with 3 different height options to choose to have the standing position set to.
It was fairly easy to put together, even though it was supplied with no instructions!
I just want to say the learning tower is superb. Perfect packaging. And construction. Being a perfectionist/minimalist I love everything about it.
It looks really nice and I felt it was better value than others available. It was relatively easy to put together but some of the bits needed a bit more force to go together than I had expected. It is sturdy and my LG loves using it.
First class product, my 2 year old Grandson is now able to help Mum in the kitchen, safely, and he loves everything about the stool.
Enables our child to participate in our daily activities in the kitchen and dining area
Absolutely love our stool. I’ve been admiring ones I saw in the US for a while now & was overjoyed when I found a local company who make them. My daughter loves her stool, & we enjoy cooking together most nights. It’s also replaced her high chair for breakfast time. A lovely product to have and can be super convenient at times. Ours has chipped a bit here and there but to be expected with wear and tear. Arrived on time, and easy to assemble. I would definitely reccomend it 🙂
Our toddler (19m) loves this step stool – he’s fiercely independent and this enables him to do so much by himself. In particular he loves being able to climb up and wash his hands independently before lunch or dinner, he can see what I’m doing on our kitchen counter and is becoming more interested in cooking. Our neighbour’s three year old recently used it to help me bake a cake.
The seller is very responsive, and my experience (like other reviewers) is that she really wants customers to have a great outcome. The stool took us about 15 minutes to assemble – we bought the varnish finish and we’re pleased with it. I imagine this will get a lot of use over years to come!
Overall a good product. Seems really sturdy but is light enough to move around easily as you need. Good height options and the platform is a nice size. It took us about 20 minutes to put together as things are a bit tight. There are issues with the paint in places, it looks fine from a distance but it is noticeable up close. The seller is fantastic though, really willing to listen to feedback and seems to genuinely want you to be happy. I have recommended the product to a friend.
Bought this so that my daugter could join in while we were in the kitchen. We’ve only had it a day and she loves it. She is slow to walk and stand so I am hoping it encourages her to get up on her legs once she gets used to it. Friends have loved it and are going to buy as well!
Just bought this for my 18 month old. She absolutely loves it and is the first thing she goes to in the morning! Very well packed and easy to assemble. We liked the simple design and its very solid. We put it together in under 10 mins. Going to buy another one for the grandparents!
Really quick and easy to put up; looks great; sturdy not bulky; hassle free adjustable heights, and our 2 year old can now safely let herself up to the countertop to join in and to see what’s going on when she wants to: which is always! Very pleased
