The Burg Wächter 100D U-lock is a heavy duty lock ideal for securing up to 12mm chains and cables. The body of the lock is made of hardened steel and the 16mm shackle is made of case hardened steel, both providing tough resistance to attack. The shackle is secured by a double bolted disk mechanism locking both ends and can be completely detached from the body of the lock when unlocked. The lock is weather resistant and suitable for outdoor use, with a keyhole cover protecting the internals.

Solid lock, would definitely take a while to get through manually. Very easy to lock and unlock, the key hasn’t jammed yet. Comes with spare keys
Quick delivery, seems sturdy enough, does exactly what I want it to do, let’s see how it lasts.
Some folk are expecting to keep a lock outside in the rain and cold without adding lubricant to this lock. Thats not how locks are meant to be kept, even the most expensive top brand locks will stick if not maintained. I have been using padlocks outside for many years and ideally they need covering with a rainproof cover unless all brass, and then it’s easy to cut the shackle. There is no sure proof no maintenance lock, so oil it regularly and need I mention WD40.
Lock is a little fiddly sometimes but other than that is really nothing bad to say
The lock is decent but i found it would stick every now and then, simply adding a few drops of oil into the locking mechanism has made it open and close very easily.
Keys are also good quality.
Use this for my burgman 650 to work easy to put on and off. Tough as nails.

That was an Oxford mini disc lock, and cost more than this one.
The Sterling is solid and I can put it through the rear sprocket so it’s more secure than going through just the disc.
I had been looking at the Oxford Monster (55ish) and the Oxford Boss (45ish) locks but then stumbled across this, and I am not disappointed!
A few people have said in their reviews that the collar and key way doesn’t line up, I have not found this to be the case and everything works as you would expect.
So, if you are in the market for a solid quality disc lock that won’t break the bank, then this is the lock for you!
Just what we needed, great product, plain simply and does the job!
I use this in combination with the Sterling 12mm manganese 1.2m chain and it works great.
Was looking for a decent disc lock fr my motorbike and came across this one. Rated as “Gold” by Sold Secure (I checked on their register to be sure). The price is a fraction of similarly rated products by mainstream manufacturers. More than well worth getting one, or maybe even two!
bought this lock to go through the rear sprocket of my motorcycle effectively locking my rear wheel, sprocket and chain in place. The lock is pretty solid and does what I purchased it for.
At last a padlock that is strong and large enough for the massive motorcycle chai
Not the best lock in the world, or the lightest, but I trust it to do a good job locking my bike up in conjunction with a decent cable.
Seems like a very solid lock. Chain internal GAP needs to be 14mm wide to fit this lock because there are 2mm of rubber cover in each side of the cross section to protect the 10mm shackle.
Doesn’t seem completely weather proof because there are gaps, but there’s protection all over, including for the key hole.
Key is just like the one you find in Abus locks. Apparently pick/drill proof.
Double bold mechanism forces the burglar to cut twice to be able to open this lock.
