What size heater do I need? You should take the size of the room and the level of insulation into account when choosing the size of heater. New properties can allow around 60 watts of heater per square meter of room. Older, poorly insulated properties, or those with lots of windows or high ceilings should go up a heater size or two.

Great product. Pleasing design on the eye. Efficient source of room heating.
Old wall heater in annex needed replacing and this has now worked perfectly for 3 months.
Well made, quality German product. Good finish, easy to install and operate. Good heat output (3Kw model). Heats a large volume efficiently. Thermostatic control works accurately. Recommended.
it works very well, I’m not sure about how much electricity it uses, but for sure it gets hot quickly and it warms the bedroom in no time
Physically installing these were easy, replacing much bigger and heavier storage heaters.
As an engineer I would have liked to be able to replace cable supplied with longer one as existing power isn’t always located on the right hand side, this isn’t really possible.
Only an issue with the larger sizes.
Setting up the timer is complicated, but that is for the end user to read up on. Quick and even heat distribution, I believe these to be a better option than storage heaters as long as there is a permanent supply to feed them during the day.

Arrived very quickly and as advertised. We had an unobtrusive spot to install this heater and it does the job very well, heating our 6m by 3.5m lounge very effectively. The instructions took a while to work out, but with the help of reading some Amazon reviews I have fitted it through a standard UK plug and socket. The fourth wire is for demand from a separate thermostat and is not needed in our setup, so it was cut short and insulated. Very happy with my purchase.
Die elektrische Heizung funktioniert super. Das einzige das mich irritiert ist dass diese Heizung keinen Schutzleiter Anschluss hat trotz Metallgehuse.
Could be a little slimmer and the mounting is very fiddly and a little difficult. Otherwise looks like good quality, and am satisfied.
I already have one of these heaters fitted in another room, so I am well familiar with the setup procedure.
There was a problem when I installed – the display gave an Err reading. The instructions said “Contact Service engineer” I E-Mailed Amazon and sent a telephone contact number, receiving a reply within a few minutes. They then transferred me to a Stiebel Eltron engineer who gave me advice as to how to sort the problem out. The heater is now working perfectly.

Program instructions very vague ad confusing. It’s the second one we have now and use then on demand as and when.
Good value and very quick to earn up.
I can really recommend this product it was easy to fit on the wall and looks good. It keeps the bedroom really warm and can be timed to suite me.
Good looking heater neat & slim on the wall with easy digital controls & very efficient.
Great quality item, but instruction manual very poor. No details on how to even set the clock! You Tube help now needed as with others.

The heater itself is very good, but the instructions are woeful. Impossible to tell how to programme it from the written instructions – I had to find a video on Youtube and then view it about six times before setting up the timer and even now I’ve only done the most basic thing. It has more sophisticated functions, but its not worth the effort of finding out how to use them. Having said that, the heater does exactly what it claims to do and turns on and off at selected times, keeping the room at a steady temperature meantime.
Really warm but I found it hard to program, had to resort to YouTube video.
Ordered four units, one had ‘Err’ on the display which basically means it’s defective. All after mounting on the wall and attaching a socket. Very disappointing quality/packaging.
Edit: that first unit was indeed defective, but the replacement and other three work well although being made in China.
Only just installed ( bought weeks ago ) BRILLIANT heater and seems to be economical to use. Very happy with how quickly it heats up our front room!! May get another one.
I am very happy with its work. Warm and reliable. The only thing that mars the impression is full absence of fixture element. No wall dowels no screws. My 2 oil filled radiators can not keep more or les constant temperature but now I see the only heater can keep my conservatory worm 🙂
Excellent, quality heater with many good features. high standard of build and looks great. ASsothers have said, the only downside is programming the the damn thing.. It took an age, and for someone not tech savvy would be a nightmare.
It looks great and kicks out plenty of heat considering its size.
It’s so easy to install and removal for decorating couldn’t be easier.
I’m sure the controller works well but I didn’t have the patience to set it up properly, not intuitive, but the thermostat seems fairly reliable temperature wise.
It looks smart and is great value for money.
It’s worth noting that the surface gets quite hot to touch so it may not be suitable if you have small children.

An excellent heater, seriously well priced and puts expensive Fischer to shame! You need an electrician to put it in but worth the effort to do everything correctly.
Das Gert halt die Vorprogrammierte Temperatur im Zimmer ca.15 m2 ganz genau, was bei billigen Varianten nur Manuel mit einem Thermometer sonst nicht mit der Hilfe von einem Thermostat( mit der Stufen 1,2..) am Gert man erreichen kann Die Vorbehaltende Programme sind leicht zu benutzen . Es gibt kein Geruch beim erstem Anschluss .warum das Gert Duo-Wandkonvektor heit , kann ich nicht sagen Das gert wiegt ca 14 Kilo, statt 7 Kg oder noch weniger bei einer gnstiger Variante
