You can never be sure when your indoor plants need water, especially in the winter months. This monitor takes the guess work out of keeping your plants hydrated. Great product.
I know this item has different reviews but I went for it to try out. I love them. I would have watered plants which didnt need it. The price is great for 2. You just put one into the ground of a plant and read it off. Then you pull it back out and wipe it. Its not meant to be left in the pot and dont meassure to see how wet water is. Would buy again.
My wife ordered one of these to check her array of cactus plants. Easy to use and appears accurate so good that she then ordered one for our daughter. Would recommend.
I bought this product for my green house because I need to know when yo watter the plant’s. I don’t want to water more than the plant’s needs and this product shows you how much water is inside the soil.
The product working very good my wife tried in garden she says the product is unbelievable. And no need battery that is very good we are very happy with thia purchase
This is a perfect accessory for my plants. Super easy to use. Now I can see when I need to water my plants and how much moisture is in the soil so I can adjust !
This is a simple indication of the state of the soil in a pot where we have a young star jasmine
I am able to read the indicator easily and ensure that it is no longer overwatered
Since receiving the item the control of watering is better and the plant’s growth has improved enormously due to having the visibility of how wet the soil is at any given time
So easy to use, has transformed the way I water my plants as you can quickly and easily see how much moisture is in the soil and adjust the watering accordingly. Wish I had one years ago!
Yay I have very happy house plants now. I used to over water them, but not anymore. Its a brilliant bit of kit, and doesn’t need batteries. Fast delivery too. I can highly recommend
Does what it says on the box. By having the probe reach the roots of your houseplants you can see whether they need watering. I have killed two plants by over watering which prompted me to buy the moisture meter. Long list of plants on the box but didn’t list the two plants I killed! But if I’d had the gadget , they would no doubt have been OK.
Bought these when trying to revive an outdoor potted fern, and trying to do better with my houseplants. These are very easy to use and I feel confident that I’m now giving my plants water when they need it. Since using these, I’ve barely watered some plants, and watered others much more than I used to – all are definitely loving the new regime and my outdoor fern is starting to look loved and cared for instead of neglected. Would highly recommend.
Simple easy to use device which lets you know if your potted plants are dry, moist or wet. I’ve saved a few plants already which were under watered, one an expensive black bamboo (in a large pot). Very happy wirh this purchase, no batteries needed, just stick it in soil near to roots and it measures moisture immediately. Just remember to wipe dry rhe probe between each plant.
This is such a simple meter to use. How accurate it is I can’t say but I’m sure it’s close enough to what I need… checking the water level in my vegetables. I checked out a few different models but settled on this as it was fairly cheap and had good overall reviews. I am more than happy with it. I have veg growing in the garden but also in containers and it was proving impossible to work out if there was enough water in the containers. On the surface they seemed so dry and with some of my veg I ended up over watering them not realising that there was still so much water deeper down. I’m not that experienced so I needed something simple and this fits the bill perfectly. If you just need something for a general guide then I would definitely recommend this one. Perhaps you will need something more advanced if you need to be scientifically accurate – most of us just need a general idea, I think, so again, this is perfect for my needs.
This is just what i needed for the garden to check on new plants and seedlings. It will save water in the longer term as the soil always looks dry but this device provides some certainty. I thought it was too expensive
Who would have known that some of my houseplants were essentially living in a swamp? This is an essential little piece of kit if you don’t want to kill your plants with kindness by overwatering them.
I actually bought this because my Areca palm was looking a bit shrivelled and it turned out after using this that I’d been giving it far too much water.
This little gauge is simple to use, easy to read and doesn’t even need batteries. If you doubt it works, put it in a dry pot and then water the plant and you’ll see the needle move as you do it.
I don’t know how I got by without it.
