I had been on the market for a 10 in android tablet for a while, but didn’t want to have to pay through the nose or get a cheap no name tablet with no memory and masses of bloatware. So I did a lot of research before jumping in. This tablet had come up in a few ‘best budget tablet’ reviews so decided to keep and eye on it when it came up in a deal.
I wanted a good build quality, no bloatware, decent enough storage (you ALWAYS need more than you think) and decent specs. I’m happy to say this fit the bill. If you are used to android you’re not going to get that new shiny ‘look at this tech feel’ (I miss that feeling and excitement to try out all the latest features) but what you do get is a good budget tablet.
Things I love:
It feels very sturdy. Its quite heavy due to the metal housing but that’s something I like (I’m a chronic tech dropper so need metal over plastic) There’s no bezel at the front.
Screen is very clear and crisp. There’s no jumping, lag or unnatural colours.
Responds quickly to commands without lag.
No bloatware as mentioned.
Set up was super simple logged in with my Google account and in about 10 mins I was ready to go.
Bluetooth is easy to use, was able to pair my headphones, wireless keyboard and mouse without any pairing issues and there was no drop out of the signal which can happen with my phone.
I’ve been able to watch videos, play games, surf the net, use Office apps without issues.
There’s not much I don’t like about it. The only slight niggle I have is that the battery life is decent but not very long lasting. I haven’t had a marathon video session but 5 hours of casual games was all I got out of a charge. Saying that I generally only do that very occasionally and my normal casual game sessions last max an hour long, so with that, browsing, social media and some Office use, all I need to do it charge it every 36 to 48 hours or so, which is pretty good.
To sum up; if you want a good work horse tablet with good build and specs that you don’t want to pay a fortune for then this is for you, especially when it goes on sale.
On a side note not only did I get the tablet on a deal but I was able to add on an extra offer of a case which is a good protective case just a tad plain but for 130 for the tablet and case you can’t go wrong for that!
I’m happy with the tablet but it’s a little too heavy for holding. However, the value for money is great 🙂 Love that it supports a SIM-card (4G) as well as WiFi.
Runs everything smoothly thanks to the bit of extra ram. Wish it was lighter but the metal case gives strength in exchange. Why can’t they supply a case.
Perfect for what I wanted, has a brilliant screen and good battery life
Didn’t expect too much for the money but this is great. Photos are a bit grainy but I didn’t buy it for its camera properties. Haven’t worked out how to take screen shots yet!
THis tablet is cheap and excellent. I have used it for few weeks for now and got no complaint at all. This could use as a phone as well if you need to.
PROS: Android 11. Quick boot-up. Very little bloatware: has just a few essentials such as calculator, clock and contacts so the available storage for maps and other large sized apps iis high.
CONS: No fingerprint recognition. Have no need for the camera so not tested.
Bought as a replacement for a six year old well known brand 10.1 tablet that won’t update its Android any longer and refuses to load my preferred newspaper and a few other apps. Overall very good value for the price charged.
I wouldn’t buy it again…it lasted only a year. Died on me a few days, literally, a few days, after the warranty ended.
For the money, 120 when I bought it, its okay. I bought it for my 15 year old autistic son to watch films/YouTube & crest stop start animation. It works OK. No glitches or faults so far. Typical cheap tablet issues screen brightness is poor also it can bog down in performance if 5 or more apps are running in the background. But for the money it’s good.
Bought one for my Mum. high quality build, no bloatware/ Fantastic display.
Brilliant tablet , easy to set up , clear screen, good size , I bought it for my son but I might just purchase one for myself .
My wife loves it. Great picture quality when watching movies, iplayer. Sound quality is excellent and it looks cool. Very pleased with this product.
I bought one of these as a gift for my 91 year old mother-in-law. Until recently she could read e-books on the device using the Kindle app but sadly her macular degeneration has progressed so we have repurposed it as an audiobook reader. It was great for delivering content but it is serving equally well now, reading out audiobooks and the built-in speakers are nice and loud. Mum is using an app from the Google Play Store that was written by a developer whose mum was in exactly the same situation, so he developed something which is incredibly easy-to-use, even for someone with very low vision. That said, whenever I visit Mum I frequently use it myself and it compares perfectly well to the more expensive famous brand names. The screen is bright enough, the resolution perfectly acceptable and the touchscreen highly responsive. Battery life is really excellent. I would say that if you really want to run a lot of apps, go for the one from this manufacturer that costs about 50 more that gives you 6gb rather than 4 gb of memory and a slightly faster processor (M40). That’s the one I got for my other half! The manufacturer (Teclast) was offering a substantial discount on a carrying case at the time I purchased but after ordering this initially, I found that there are superior products available from third-party manufacturers, including the one I then bought, made out of PU leather and black denim. It is really well made and sturdy, offers lots of protection and fits the device absolutely perfectly.
I haven’t heard of this brand before, but the sound is good and the screen is large and clear. It’s pretty good at this price, Android
Nice wide screen tablet which equipped with modern technology, such as 4G lite and wifi can be used both style, directly from sim and from wifi.
It takes dual SIM cards so can be separated business number and private numbers .
It takes TF card as well ideal to expand he life only it can take upto 128gb speed which more than I needed.
Bear in mind that ft card entered where SIM card so I can have two SIM cards or one SIM card and one TF card at a time.
Overall nice tablet with very long battery life.
Got this Android tablet because it has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with an expandable memory option for my budget range. I like the portability of it and I can use a SIM card for data use when not in a WiFi area. I can easily play my favourite games such as Mortal combat on this device. Also can access Youtube / Disney+ & Amazon Prime in decent video quality playback. It has 2 speakers built-in for decent sound. The only thing I didn’t like was the front camera as it is only 2MP so not good for a selfie. Once it fully charged I could use it for about 6-7 days with general use like web browsing. The screen is decent and has a good response. It came with android 10 instaled already. I think for the price this tablet is a good one and no other issues found yet. Happy with it so far and saves me some money instead of buying a big brand product.
After just 7 months of using this tablet the screen started acting weirdly. When we are playing games and touching the screen for making moves it senses the touch somewhere else on the screen.
Amazing tablet worth the money. I use this for out on the road as a mobile mechanic. Does everything I need it to.
It’s very fast and responsive I haven’t yet got a fault with it apart from the sound quality being awful and graphics on video playback isn great stall but what can you expect from a 130 tablet!!
Awesome buy one
Works well and has little bloat ware. Easy to set up and transfer apps from old phone. But as a phone it is quite average. Big let down is the camera, no flash and no fingerprint reader which makes some apps not work, but price v spec good value. (so well packed – maybe the packaging cost more than the device)!
Good tablet. It has a nice screen and it’s fast for daily use. Maybe cameras could be better, but ok for video calls.
so easy to set up/use very high quality as good as top brands at fraction of cos
This is a fantastic tablet – very good value for money at this price point. Screen is sharp, battery life is good and Android as close to the stock version as it gets. Processor able to handle most tasks easily; have not seen any lags. You probably need to do a lot of multitasking or play heavy games to see issues with speed.
Be aware that the tablet will only play Netflix / Amazon Prime or similar services at SD resolution, which is expected for all tablets in this price bracket. Still very watchable, with good colours, but you will not make full use of the HD screen on streaming. All fine if you use your own content with VLC or Plex.
This device is good quality, screen very good, easy to use, all features working fine thanks
Great product with good ram memory. Perfect for watching Skygo Etc.
The tablets are excellent with agreat build quality.
Problem is you can’t trust the company and worse still – you can’t trust Amazon to support you either!
Wanted a tablet for a while as fed up with reading books and watching videos on phone.
Carried out some research having seen the P20HD on Amazon at a price I was willing to pay.
Saw some reviews that said how good this was with the exception of the camera and sound not brill. As I did not to take photos and usually watch videos with headset on thought I would purchase it.
Must say that I agree with comments about camera quality but other than that I really like it. Videos play well using VLC player sound is ok through speakers and brill through my headphones.
Reading kindle books is a lot better than on phone.
Build quality is fine and it runs quick enough for what I want.
I
It seems well made and comes with no bloat-ware at all. I can’t fault it at the moment. I’ve had it a week and so far is OK. I would prefer the screen brightness control to make the screen dimmer when at zero on the slider adjustment. The sound is not that great but it’s certainly loud enough. Touchscreen is responsive. It does what I want and I was surprised at what you get for the price. I would certainly recommend it for those on a budget.
I took a chance on this not so well known Teclast tablet because of the very high spec and very reasonable price and was not disappointed, extremely good for the price.
Got this tablet mostly for the daughter but me and the girlfriend use it to look at videos at night time .
The specs are very good it’s octu core proccesser very fast ram and basically just as fast are other more expensive tablets . The price is very good that’s why I went with it and got a case to make sure it doesn’t break. Overall very happy with the speed as you can see in the video and am happy with the purchase .
Great product for the price. It would be even better, if their was an option of ordering a cover along with it at additional cost.
Excellent product – good quality, fast and responsive. I was skeptical at first having previously purchased a tablet that was not a Samsung , which only lasted a matter of weeks. However, after much research and looking around at other tablets, this one fit the criteria. The only factory installed feature that it doesn’t have is screen mirroring, but that was sorted very easily by downloading an app.
Other than that, great value for money.
Very good device for the price, but i couldi use it for what i bought it. Because of Sony or Teclast… Uncomputable APP with the device.
