So I’ve had the stand for about 10 months. It’s good value. I did have a fault in the upright after 9 months. I contacted the seller and they didn’t argue at all. Just sent the replacement. So I would recommend the seller as they provide good service if anything comes up.
Thank you!
Reasonably good wheel stand, works well but a little shaky on the upright bar when using it if you play around with adjustments & a little padding you can make it a little more stable, overall does the job and so far have enjoyed many hours driving and racing
Was easy to put together and is good value for the price.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars would be that the adjustable part of the rig moves slightly even when tightened to the max
Great price and product don’t spend few hundred on other products
Didn’t fit my Thrustmaster TMX pedals but I drilled another hole and fitted another bolt to secure the pedals! Worked out perfect!!! Very pleased!
Thanks I hope he likes it and it’s a Xmas prezzy
Wow takes up much less room than my playseat does. Great for my son’s room which has limited space and it is of top build standard you won’t be disappointed with this perchace.
It’s OK nort the best keeps getting loose but I can’t tighten it up not the best quality but still usable
Bought this for my partner for their Xbox wheel to use with his gaming chair. It’s great as it doesn’t take up to much space when in use. Folds up really well and we are able to store it with ease.
This product was delivered in record time. I have not opened it yet as my sons birthday is in August. But I’m sure he will be happy with it. I’ll post another review when it’s opened.
Fine for beginners, bought this in August of 2019, still have it. One thing I don’t recommend with this stand is regularly undoing the screws as the thread wore out after a couple months. Fixed it up myself and still going strong. Solid, cheap stand for someone’s first wheel. It’s is a bit wobbly to be honest though.
Does exactly what it’s supposed to! Fairly easy to assemble and the wheel and pedals fit nicely. Husband very pleased!
The stand is fine, but picture is misleading, as it does not give the impression that all you are getting is an empty stand. Photo should show stand only as that is what is for sale
It was a decent purchase for someone who enjoys racing but not e-sports level. Easy to build. And good price
Very good and easy to set up…only down side to it is that there isn’t any spare room between the wheel and gear change.
Good sturdy stand for the Logitech Wheel, shifter as pedals. Just needs to be slightly wider so the shifter isn’t so snug with the steering wheel.
But it does tend to slide slightly on the carpet when using the pedals, particularly when breaking. Perhaps some sort of grip would make the product perfect.
Apart from some minor problems. Great all round stand, which easily folds away when not in use.
Great piece of kit and perfect for anyone using a steering wheel. Solid and stable and I’d recommend this item. Only gave four stars as I want to see how it lasts after a few months of use…..so far so good
Very easy to assemble with the instructions provided in the box. There are only 3 parts to screw together which took me less than 10 minutes. I’ve been using a homemade racing wheel stand which didnt last! So I wanted something cheap that did the job and this stand did exactly that. It’s a good weight, not to heavy, very simple to adjust and fold down and seems extremely robust and reliable.
I’m not a competitive gamer, but I do enjoy simulations. I recently got in to car & truck sims so I got a wheel/pedal set, (Thrustmaster T80). Problem was, clamping it to the desk left it in an awkward position for me. Could never get my seat right and the pedals kept slipping on the carpet.
After a couple months like this I decided on a stand and, because I don’t spend hours every week driving, I kept my budget below 100. At 55 this seemed worth a punt.
It’s sturdy, almost infinitely adjustable, and packs flat for storage. The fit and finish is superb, though some of the captive bolts seem like they weren’t properly protected when it was powdercoated, meaning that some things like the feet took some gentle persuasion to start winding in. That said, it took me barely twenty minutes to build it and set it up to my ideal position.
I’ve seen the comments about the welding and I agree that it’s so-so consumer-grade. But I’d love to know exactly how much force people are expecting to put through this thing. I also note that one of the pictures in a review here shows the lower tilt bolt going in the wrong direction, which would certainly have stressed both the reciever plate and the weld on the adjustment cam. To put it another way, this product is perfectly fine, but probably doesn’t handle abuse very well.
In summary, this is an excellent product at a reasonable price-point which will almost certainly improve your gaming experience.
First of all, delivery was incredibly fast (ordered one afternoon, arrived midday the next day). The product was packed very securely and was easy to slide out of the box. Assembly was very easy as it’s just a case of screwing 3 parts together, the rest was pre-assembled. After assembling and tightening the screws with the Allen key (provided), the stand seemed very sturdy. I secured the adjustable arm at the right angle for me, clamped my wheel and gear shifter, and mounted my pedals and tried it out on Forza. After a few races of quite rigorous movement, the stand remained perfectly stable. Got to say I’m very happy with this stand and very impressed with the value for money. Couldn’t recommend this product more.
Got this cheap rig for my cheap T80. It works a treat. The peddles sit a tiny bit wobbly but that’s down to my laziness, ie don’t notice it once you’re driving so not bothered to rectify it. Very happy with it compared to my old set up.
Ignore the bad reviews. This is probably your first rig, it’s worth it. Later, if you feel the need to upgrade do so but for a starter set up that doesn’t break the bank I highly recommend
brought this item for my 12 year old son for a christmas presant for the Xbox wheel and gear shift change, 6 months later it’s broken after normal usage from a busy tween. Contacted the seller and has an immediate response to resolve. I have been told the parts will be replaced and there is now a 3 year guarantee on the product. Hoping they’ll come through so i can change to a five star review.
for the money cant complain but if you like running NASCAR/Stock Car a lot of them are left-hand drive so the platform on top needs to be wider for Logitech G25/7/9 shifter being on the right as when shifting in to second gear you will hit the shiftier when turning the wheel as second gear makes the shifter crazy close when its on the right only would need to be 1cm wider to fix this basic issue apart from that seems good so fa
Not the most sturdy of stands but it works well for me, my 11 year old gives it a lot of hammer and it is still working. At the price compared to bigger and more robust systems I still think it is good value for money. My wife insisted I had one that folded away so this fits the bill very well.
For the price it does the job, but with force feedback on my wheel I hear the stand rattle constantly and it does shake a fair bit.
Suitable for a younger child than the one that I was buying for. It wasn’t really big enough for a 13 year old.
But it was well made but not right for him. I returned it.
Pleased wth it so far.easy to assemble and solid decent materials, works well wth my G29 wheel and pedals. And it only cost me 55 instead of over 100 for alot of the others.
Brought a steering wheel for my sons X-Box and this came up as another item that may be of interest. I am so glad I did as he absolutely loves it. Easy to put together and adjustable for comfort. Holds both the steering wheel and pedal box securely whilst in use and stows away if you haven’t the space to leave it out. Brilliant product and enhances the use of the steering wheel during gaming.
the steering wheel fits perfectly but you will need to drill a hole in the base to fix the pedals.. no big deal really.
I in fact marked and drilled a series of holes about 30mm apart down the centre of the pedal mounting board so I can move the pedals as he gets taller….the drill holes will be covered by the pedal box anyway.
The stand is made of extremely sturdy metal box section with good M8 screws and knobs so also robust.
Its very easy to assemble and as I stated earlier very easy to modify to fit the thrust master pedals.
all in all one of the best steering wheel stands I’ve tried.
Great stand for the price bracket. Very sturdy. My only gripe is that there should have been a separate piece for shifter, as there’s very little room for the steering wheel and shifter to be sat side by side. Could also do with grips on bottom and better grips on feet. Other than than tho, cannot fault it really. Great job. Would definitely recommend
fairly robust build and can be adapted to angles and heights that are comfortable
Easy to setup. Easy to pack away (it folds fairly flat. In my living room it fits snugly between a wall and a cabinet, probably about a 10 inch gap).
Pretty adjustable so that you can find the right position.
I have the Racing Wheel Apex controller and it fits fine, only slight grip is that the lead from the pedals comes out of the back, which becomes the first point of contact on the ridge at the end of the foot plate of the stand. This is the design fault of the pedals though, not the stand, in my opinion. That said, whilst it is a slight gripe, I can’t say I really notice it when driving.
Overall the stand it is exactly what I was looking for.
I use a Thrustmaster T150 and fits well on to this setup.
Enough space for all the pedals etc
Folds down well for ease of storage but I leave mine up and not taking up too much space
This stand was not difficult to put together and now I have my wheel and pedals set up on it. It allowed me to set the angle of the wheel and adjust for distance of the pedals. I was unsure about how the pedals would stay since the little piece of metal that can screw on did not seem to compensate for my pedals, making them wobble and slide. So just placed the pedals on the unit itself without clamping, and I am pleasantly surprised at how well the pedals stay in place.
The steering mount allows for some adjustments for height, angle and with a combination of the three adjustable points I can set the distance from the pedals, the wheel holds in place really well on the mount with no sliding around. Something I did note though is that the arm for the mount has a little jiggling while using my wheel, this comes at no surprise really considering it is basically a single cuboid pole holding it (or two if you consider the joint that allows you to extend the arm), but I am pelased to say that this really is not a problem. The jiggle is not big, infact while driving it does not impair me at all.
I also appreciate how I can keep my wheel and pedals on the unit and just move the whole thing when I do or do not want to use it with no need to pack stuff away or reset.
When I compare the price of this to other steering mounts I really do feel I got value for money, it is secure, does exactly what it is supposed to and my driving position feels much more natural and comfortable than having my wheel mounted on my desk. Very happy.
Arrived quickly, well packaged and of good quality. Easy to assemble and clear instructions. It does state that its compatible for thrustmaster wheels. Not sure which ones though. I have the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 spider wheel. The brackets and holes are not compatible with this wheel. Fortunately im a carpenter so I was able to drill some holes and make amendments to the stand so that it worked. This involved counter-boring the pedal stand from the underside and then drilling through so that the bolts would go in and reach from beneath and hold the pedals. Have to be very accurate though as the bolts are not very long and you end up with only about 5mm left on the counter bore. Could get different length bolts though. I actually then took the sterring wheel apart, screwed the base down and fixed back together, so need a bit of care with this. Overall the stand is good but should state which models its compatible with.
Brilliant stand for my wheel, pedals, control panel, mouse and keyboard. perfect for my needs.
Just me…. found a little hard for me to put together (disability).
Bottom swivel mount very tight, the paint has been scratched off. NO OTHER problems to-date.
Mine arrived with a fault – there was a hole missing from the upright which meant that the adjustable platform could not be fixed at an angle.
I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped a replacement part immediately – excellent customer service.
When assembled, there’s some give in the system – there’s a slight rock backwards and forwards as you change gears, for example. Still in use by my 10 year old after 6 months though.
Don’t forget to get some cable ties or similar to tame all those pesky wires.
After unpacking the stand it’s pretty easy to assemble as there are only 3 main parts to the stand, the base, the shelf that you actually attach the wheel to and the column that’s attached to the base and the shelf, the rest is mostly screws for attaching the different parts. Allen keys are supplied to help with assembly.
Within about 10 minutes or so I had it built and then it was just a matter of adjusting the height and the tilt to my liking. The build quality is great, the main parts are all metal and the shelves where the pedals and steering wheel attach are wood. It’s a very sturdy unit, the only thing I will say is that it does slide about a little when I’m using it (mostly when i’m accelerating it will move forward a fraction, not a big issue but during a long race it is noticeable and I have to pull the steering wheel towards me to get it back in place) as the 2 plastic feet on the unit don`t grip on my wooden floor, so it looks like I will have to buy a rubber mat of some sort to stop it sliding forward.
When you are finished using the stand just undo 1 screw and it folds up pretty flat so you can store it away without it taking up to much room. I’ve only had the stand a few days but it has had a lot of use on iRacing and I’m very happy with it. I would recommend this stand to anyone as it’s great for the price and does the job really well.
I have a G27 which is not the most ideal for this unit. The MadCatz wheel for xbox would fit it perfectly. There is the option to shift the wheel over to allow room for the shifter but then the pedals are not inline.
The product is worth the 50, although you may consider adding your own shifter table and also extending the legs backwards to avoid the whole frame leaning down when playing.
I would recommend this product over some of the other 200 models, as this performs just as well but leaves a little change in your pocket.
Neutral – The wheel (DFGT) wasn’t that easy to connect, the clamps were too big for the table and I had to improvise. I got a wad of about 100 sheets of printer paper and put that under the wheel now I use it for writing down pit strategy. Fuel usage etc.
Negative – sometimes when the wheel isn’t all at 90 degrees like if the top part is tilted the stand gets squeaky, you make have to adjust and check before sitting a long race with a squeak every time you turn the wheel.
There are optional parts that come in the box if you want to raise the front up and a clamp to hold a different wheel. Once assembles it’s just a case of lifting it up and placing it out ouf the way for storage so not too heavy.
Underneath the wheel mount are screw holes where you have the option to place the controller. This leaves another option of fitting another bracket and mount something else…..a sat nav maybe…mmmmmm.
In use the wheel stand, when set up to your own posture, performed well. I was surprised it stayed put even with quick left and right swings of the wheel. I did expect it to wobble a bit but no, Full marks on this, now where did I put that sat nav.
Arrived today & I’ve had a few hours on GT5 using a Black Momo & can honestly say this is a Must have for anybody that has a decent wheel & is into there racers/drivers. The Solid base makes it very stable & your feedback is amplified through the steel sections & the wheel base which is a right bonus. With the adjustments you can find the Ultimate driving position & will be completely comfortable without the usual aches & pains & leaning forwards in your chair, I literally have the wheel in my lap it could not be better for positioning as far as the wheel is concerned & when driving/racing you can pick your racing line Perfectly.
My one & only criticism is you cannot tilt the base up at the back so I’ve slid a piece of wood under the back of my pedal base to just lift the pedals to the angle I like, Minor & like I said earlier this is a solid p[piece of kit & a Must have for any SIM racer/driver.
Worth noting I ordered through Amazon & it arrived in super quick time & was well packaged, Building the wheel stand up takes a few minutes & once set up it’s superb & it folds back on itself so can be stored away pretty easy.
Lastly I hope this review gets them a few more sales as they deserve it for being 50 quid cheaper than the competition, Nice work […] 🙂
